John Toelke: My first bid was from a big box store. My second bid was from Chain-link Fence. Two other fence companies never returned my call. At first I was reluctant to go with Chain-link Fence because their bid was less than 70% of the big box store. I was concerned about less quality of product and installation. Checked BBB with the only result being that they had nothing on them. I figured, well at least no complaints. I asked the time frame. I was told it would be done within a week provided they could get the ground marked for utilities and weather cooperated. I signed the contract. They did not disappoint. I received at least as good of a product as the big box store and an excellent installation. To top it off, my project was done at least two weeks before the big box store would even start. Chain-link Fence Company did an outstanding job. I highly recommend them.

Since I checked in each day, though, it all worked out and they made the couple of changes I wanted.And that's why I give them 5 stars and not 4. I would have preferred that the work was just good without me having to be engaged, but they not only made sure it was right, they went above and beyond. One of the gates wouldn't be able to open right because the ground was too high, and they shaved that off nicely. I spoke to the salesman a week after he was here, and he promised an estimate the following week. When I called the office to speak to a manger about this, I was told I would only be able to speak to the salesman and there would not be a manager available. No offer to have someone else contact me - just an “okay” when I said it didn’t make much sense to voice a complaint to the person I am complaining about. His price was more competitive than the other companies in the area, but the quality of workmanship, customer service and genuine thoughtfulness was that of someone who truly cared about his customers.I don’t tend to leave reviews right out of the gate because I like to make sure the services rendered were done satisfactory. I had my fence installed a few weeks ago and it went very well for the first couple weeks. My chocolate lab decided that if he ran fast enough he could deal with the shock going through the fence. This was obviously no fault of Cooper or his fence. After several times of dog being outside the perimeter, I called Cooper. Answered on the second ring. (Starting to see the pattern? He cares about his customers and is there for them even after he collected your money. He walked me through troubleshooting and gave me some advice on how to nip this in the butt. Cooper was patient and working through everything with me. Knock on wood, but I think we are now at a place where I feel confident that my dog can be safely contained on my property. Thank you to DogWatch and thank you Cooper for being such an awesome person and taking care of us! You’ll come highly recommended from everyone we run into!
