They've come through for me again and again when I needed solutions and not excuses. They've been able to get very special cable for a massive job that other companies couldn't even find, let alone order for me. Hands down one of the best supply houses I deal with.

Wilguess: I was in need of a few electrical supplies and had already visited two other local (Springfield, MO) electrical supply outfits, which proved to be less than courteous, less than friendly. My last stop would be City Electric Supply in Springfield, and this time my experience was different.I entered City Electric Supply through the rear door and was soon greeted by a young man, by the name of Cody, who was exceptionally respectful, friendly and very helpful. Cody also proved to be quite knowledgeable. I returned the next day for an offset and was similarly greeted and assisted by two other gentlemen. I have decided that I will continue my business exclusively with City Electrical Supply.

D Bebber: Loyd is a good dude. I wish he would take better care of himself though. He really needs to improve his diet and exercise routine. He does CrossFit and eats a vegetarian diet, but he has an issue with his sleep pattern. He stays up late and gets up early. I’m pretty sure he never gets 8 hours of sleep.

Abbott Electric: This used to be a great store where even smaller companies could get descent prices. The last time and I mean last time ever I bought wire from them I was charged $6.57 a ft for 4/0 SER, competing supply houses were $2.50 to $2.90, even Lowes was cheaper by almost half at $3.45 a foot. I call up and was told it has been that price for a year... bull! I even looked up another invoice from them from 3 months ago and it was under $3 for the same wire. I guess after 5 years I am no longer a valued customer and I will not be back again.

Jenny T: Horrible experience. Don't go on Saturday's near closing or expect to get chewed out, then shooed out. I showed up with picture and model number of the part I needed with 5 minutes to spare. Before I could say anything i was told they HAD to lock the doors by noon or they would lose their bonus checks. They glanced at the pic and model number and said they didn't have it. And I would have to wait until Monday to get my furnace fixed as no one else in town who would have the part was open. I think it it is obsurd that employees bonus checks depend on the the exact time the doors are locked. This policy causes horrible customer experiences resulting in lost business. The only thing they seemed to have gotten right is the name because their supplies are locked up and no customer emergency is going to get them to keep their doors open a few minutes longer.
