Empower: Abilities: what do users think?
Anthony “Ant”: Liked Empower, very nice and caring people
Debi Ferguson: Great people and helps me so much
Leigh Borak: My caseworker is here she helps me anyway she can
Jennifer Barron: Absolutely love this place. They have a wonderful staff and there always ready to answer any questions u may have. I worked through them being an in home aid for a friend and always had a wonderful experience when I needed them
Candy Terry: They have been most helpful with all my needs.
Adrién Backus: Not sure this place is still in business. I’ve emailed them twice and called and left a message and received no response.
Rebecca Warden: Company pays the employees but doesn't pay in the withholding required for quarterlies. I have had my tax return confiscated by the IRS for 3 years and I can't get it returned because they do not pay the payroll taxes. Be aware they are required to do so and do not do it. I have called multiple times and got another letter today from the IRS. I AM NOT HAPPY. Payroll talks but Talking is all they do but will not correct the problem
Ky: What they do for the clients is amazing but I feel like they could care less for their employeesWere people too ya know and not all the time do the clients treat us right you would know if you did follow ups with us too and not just the client!
robin farthing: I absolutely love this place. They have done SO MUCH since I became disabled...things I could never have had without their services!! Wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable staff always willing to answer any questions you might have. I encourage anyone with any disability to call and inquire about their services...you won't be disappointed!!
Carl Murphree: These people, are a Blessing.I was referred to them by my doctor, who was worried that while going through cancer(again), I might have a hard time, because my heat/ac had quit working back in May.Once they were involved, it only took a couple days to get a repair servicet to fix my system, and get the heat back on .Do not be afraid to call them, if you are disabled, and have issues living an accessible life.
Lisa May: People that work here are nice and very helpful.
George Franklin Hartt: Great folks
Scott Bloomer: Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient.
Deborah Van Ness: Superterrific people! Go the extra mile to help find solutions to your problems.
Donna Johnstone: These people will help the disabled fit in with the community. Their employees have kind hearts. Not only do they assist the disabled with inhome services they find ways to teach clients ways for them to feel independent.
Oswaldo Abril: Una ayuda excelente para personas con capacidades diferentes
Tim Sharp: I'm disabled myself and live in a small but very nice apartment. I was looking on there website about other helpful ideas I could get to help me be more involved with the community and volunteer for places that would work for me. It was a very helpful site and I will visit a few more times. Tim
Brookelyn Moyers: These people are simply amazing. They have hearts of gold and know just how to treat people. They don't judge you and treat you just like family they are quick to help those in need. My father had a stroke August 27th and nearly died in the hospital he eventually got better and was learning how to walk again he still doesn't have his medicade or even his disability and sadly needed a waldker when i went to them they gave him one and had it fitted just right for him. They were so kind hearted and so loving to my dad it melted my heart they were so helpful explaining everything to us and just go giving. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone i know. You most certainly will NOT EVER be unsatisfied thats for certain!!
Millyh19: Great facility
Linda Brown: they've helped me in every way that I could possibly ask for they have good with good knowledge to help those who are disabled seniors they're very good
Cordelia Allen: Some employees are not for African Americans but Donald Trump. And they discriminate. I worked there a year as the Administrative Assistant most loved me and a few hated me not because I wasn't good enough but only me being "Black" it felt like I was being mocked all the time.

The Arc of the Ozarks - Program Services: what do users think?
Nichole Morris: This company sounds like they stand for the clients after working for them Six months I learned that they are not they treat the clients like kids and yell at them managers play favorite's and lie and then when you go aheaded and bring I to the attention to management and they do nothing and then you take it to HR after total disrespect from house supervisor and program supervisor. Innocent no retaliation policy a week later program supervisor calls and after having the flu the week before Christmas exposed by one of the houses and having covid a few weeks after starting after being exposed after subbing for a house outside of our team mayday the separation of employment due to attendance you say no you can't come in because you already have plans on your day off retaliation will happen just no saying no will cause problems and most likely cost you and don't get sick.
Madison Jantz: I worked at the ark for not even a month. The patients are miss treated. Night shift sleeps when they are not supposed to. And management looks the other way. They definitely pick favorites. If you are looking to work here I suggest don’t. They love to hire and fire people who the don’t like. I took great care of the patients and was more understanding than most everyone there. Do not work in the industry unless you are made for it. I saw major neglect and people sitting in there own soil deep rashes for not being cleaned. When a patient does have an accident they can’t control they are shamed my manager Devin refused to hear my complaint on neglect and told me how to but it would go to her anyways so it would lead to no where.
Steven Lammers: Employees are kicked, scratched, bitten and abused by the students there and the management refuses to do anything about it. Its Amazing when money and grants can make you look the other way and ignore the people who are there to try and help.
Wendy Nimmo: Amazing company! Help of our disabled find jobs.
Comrade_Blake: No words for how awesome their customer service is!
JmE* LyN: Worst job I have ever had
Dillion Austin: I've worked for Arc of the Ozarks for over two years now and I absolutely love my job. The clients, the community- everything is awesome. 😌

Mackenzie Brown: Never again. Don’t work here or send your family members here!
Margaret Davis: Fun place for my client to enjoy
stacey warren: Absolutely love working for this company!!! I have been working here for almost 3 years and it doesn't seem that long at all!!! I look forward to going to work and to see the wonderful clients that i assist!!!
Jessica Baker: Not a good company to work for. Supervisors are unprofessional unfair and rude! They had my daughter in tears.Read the screenshot. As she was told she had till the end of October to have it completed so basically she was lied to
Melissa Videion: Good for just hiring and firing. If a job keeps on hiring, then you know something is wrong...with the company. People should love this job. This should be rewarding. It's not the clients, its the employers. It's favoritism. If their employees were treated right, then maybe just maybe they would stop hiring and everything will be good.
Alexa Christen: I was forgotten about during covid. I was untreated for over a year. Not a call or text. I just started going back to therapy. Hopefully I can give 5 stars after a few months of treatment. I enjoy the people but the program seems flawed.
DTOM: If you are a landlord and they are involved in caring for tenants you rent to, do not lease to them. They did not inform me of damage, broke the lease, tried to gaslight me about the damage and then attempted to give backdate notice to me. I would blame 100% of this on their "caretakers".I saw ongoing evidence of neglect of the people in their program. It looked like they had not cleaned the rental property in four years. The "caretaker" lied to people about what was going on. This organization needs some serious examination by the State of Missouri. The legal guardians of the people they care for should be investigated as well. Why on earth would an organization like this take such a hateful and malicious approach to a landlord relationship? Something is very very very rotten at this organization.
Nancy Plunk: Great training
next Batson: Great
laurneà Jarman: This is a terrible company to work for and they don't care about their employees. Honestly they are on a streak for firing black employees, or putting them under "investigation". This is probably the worst compamy to work for no matter your tenure or position. Also, if you are considering having someone come to this company to be supervised and taken care of don't. This company has no strategies for improving and developing the people living in the group homes.
Erica Chaffin: Called a week ago and left a message still no call back!
Anna Wilson: It is actually a company that takes care of people with development disability s .it is a good company to work for. Good pay and a fun experience with the clients.
Gary Sweeten: Love working here, very rewarding
StormAsmrgaming with nature: Hey there I will be loving to volunteer there because I haved learned how to sign things and draw things I am good at drawing for the autism kids and do sign language for the kids who can’t hear
Bradley Copeland: Great contributer to the community. The only thing that upset me is that I didn't get my paycheck on time. It was days later. Other than that I loved my job.
Sarah Maze: Awesome organization, beautiful building, and amazing staff.
adventures with FLY Frances Youngblood: The gym is great, the staff is so easy to work with and if you're looking to rent for an occasion, I suggest you consider it.
Kathleen Tucker: My daughter is Autistic and they have great activities for her.
Sunshine: I have worked in this line of work for about 22 years now throughout Kansas and Missouri... I have seen a lot of wild stuff happen in places like these during all those years. The Arc of the Ozarks is likely one of the best places I have chosen to work.. Not only do they provide for employees awards for years of service, benefits way beyond just health insurance, they give out gift cards for things like just coming to monthly (less than 1 hr) staff meetings, appreciation night, and much more!! The Arc is one of the most valuable places I have ever worked at that provided so much for every single client we serve! Our clients are involved in so many community activities, swimming, dances, sports, the list goes on and on...I have been with this company 2 years now and truly have enjoyed my time here, so here's to hopefully many more years with the Arc!!
Brandon Kopecky: A great place to hang out with Your Friends,Eat Lunch with Your Friends,Do an outing with Your Friends and Swim with Your Friends.

Mis Lynch: Very wonderful and helpful people
lorrie bay eXp Realty LLC: I am currently putting resources together to help parents with children with special abilities(like us) who move into the area, have access to facility information. I want to try and help gather this information for them so they can concentrate on the move and transition their children to their new environment.

Developmental Center Of The Ozarks: what do users think?
Beautyrest Sleep Gallery: The team at DCO focus their services on access and inclusion for infants, children and adults with disabilities. They are a fantastic organization to support and we are so lucky to have them right here in the Ozarks.
Aaron Collins: Just celebrated my 8th year working for DCO. The job has always been very satisfying. Each day I'm doing something for an organization that is improving the lives of people in the Ozark's and that feels really good. I've always felt like I was part of the family here and my bosses have treated me with respect. They have always been cool with time off too. I'm sort of a travel nut, so vacation time is a big deal. The management promotes a friendly work place by doing staff development days, barbecues, holiday parties, yearly bonuses, staff appreciation parties "with good prizes" as well as little things like bringing in lunch for a department to support a job well done. They are also good about doing internal promotion. Almost all the management and coordinators I know started in other positions and worked their way up. It's really a great place to work.
Karen Oldham: I love dco. My kids love dco
Pamela Keen: It is a really awesome preschool.
Valery Reyes: This place blesses so many people. I feel beyond blessed to not only work here but also having such supportive and positive bosses. #burrellforward

Barbara Coan: Outstanding, courteous, professional, friendly and well worth the time spent to process all the paperwork this VSO spends time answering all the Veterans questions.
mark: very knowledgeable on Veterans disability , not your average veterans service officer just looking to file a claim to get numbers. This company actually develops the claim and helps you through the process of filing it properly.
Veterans Service Officer: Outstanding professional staff, they were friendly and knowledgeable. their staff actually develops your claim and spends the quality time to explain the process of filing a claim and answered the questions our family had about VA health care and benefits while treating us with respect. As a former Service officer there service officers were on point and up to date !
mark oberhausen: Thanks to the Veterans
Giv: Amazing
Ronnee Bogle: My husband went there and they were efficient and very helpful. They walked us through each and every step and truly cared for us as PEOPLE and not a number. Thank you so much for all your help and they need more people like you guys working FOR the veterans.
