Rebekah Arwood: I've used Multi Printing twice now within the last couple years and both times have been a pleasant interaction, which is why I called to place a third order within the last several weeks. This interaction was not pleasant.There were a few other items that I was needing to have done apart from regular business cards. I was very understanding if they couldn't do what I was requesting, I just needed to know if they even did it. From that point forward I received a frustrated attitude, as though I was being problematic even though I was only asking questions on what they could or couldn't do.After discussing it over the phone and deciding what could be done, I was asked to send design files, then I would be given a quote. After receiving a quote back, I called to verify some things that weren't discussed or addressed via email, and then I was going to place an order. During this phone call it was very clear to me that I was a bother and my business was not appreciated (even though I was about to spend near $550) based on tone of voice and lack of response when asking questions. I tried to ask if I had done something to offend or frustrate them and I was told over and over "no", but it was clear I had.Aside from this experience, I also had a situation where the second order of business cards I had placed had a spelling error within the business name on the card. In stating the name of the business multiple times and sending my design file from my business email account, I would have thought that someone would have seen the spelling error in our business name and notified me before printing but no one did, which I can understand. However, once I saw the error after picking up the cards, I called to see what could be done, (not in a frustrated tone or an expectant tone that they should fix the problem for free, but just to see what solutions they had, as I'm sure this has happened before). The individual I spoke with was very defensive and stated, "there is nothing that can be done. We don't proofread anything, we just print what is sent to us." I found it kind of frustrating, but my frustration may be misplaced. Other print shops may do the exact same thing, but I find it unprofessional, especially when there are a LOT of individuals out there that graphics design or proofreading is not their strong suit but they still need business cards printed, and need them to be as professional as possible. But again, this frustration may be misplaced. That is for you to decide.Last but not least, after this experience, I decided to call other shops to see pricing, business etiquette, and customer service quality. In doing so, I have found 2 other shops that are extremely appreciative of my business and half the price of Multi Printing for the exact same product.Again, I had two other dealings with this shop prior to this experience that were perfectly fine. I was just very put off by this last experience, enough to persuade me to do business elsewhere. I strongly recommend that you at least have a conversation, before making a judgment with this shop to see if they can take care of your needs at a reasonable price!
