Scott Zinevich: My house had to be rebuilt after a fire. During the rebuild I sent two years in the hospital. I discussed with them what was needed and had photos of house before. They changed supervisor at the end. Multiple things I am finding they didn't do or do right. They didn't talk to me much while I was just a few miles away stuck in hospital. I get more annoyed as I find more things we talked about that didn't get done right. From problems with the roofing to the carpet multiple electrical issues doors hung wrong siding not done properly

Zach did an excellent job, neat work, and they got our hot water heater up to code as well. The utility closet is now safer than it was before and looks nice too! They left paint on furniture beds window's leak new door won't stay shut had to redo are stuff over 3 times still isn't right could of hired some kid's and got the same kinda work for way less. When I came in the door I found the water that had been leaking had damaged the hard wood floor and pooled under my home.I immediately called my insurance company and Kennco construction was their preferred choice, and I quickly found out why.From the first time I spoke to Billy on the phone and then met Billy when he came to assess the damage I we're so impressed with their professionalism and compassion for our situation. They did everything they could to make a horrible situation as best as possible. Billy and Shannon's crew work quickly and closely with us and I would recommend them to all my family and friends.My home now looks better than it did when it was first built and brand new!!

Cris P.: This was my second time using KennCo. The first time was to repair quite a bit of storm damage (roofing, siding, drywall) which was arranged through my insurance company. I liked the work they did, so hired them for cosmetic work on my house: replacing and painting rotted soffits, fascias, and semi-decorative woodwork. The thing I appreciated most was that there was a good amount of communication. I knew when workers were going to be coming to the house. The workers were polite, did their jobs efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves.

Don Schooler: In January 2019, a rental house we owned suffered fire damage that required extensive repair. The project lasted eleven months. This was a new experience for us and after contacting our insurance company, we were advised to hire a contractor that we, and the insurance company, could work with. We had known the former owner of Kennco and called to see if he still had contact with the company. He referred us to the new owner, Eric Purvis who had been with Kennco for years and purchased it from the former owner. Eric called me within minutes of talking to the former owner. My wife and I met with him and he outlined how the process worked with three entities involved—the home owner, the contractor and the insurance company. The process, for most, is a new experience and somewhat complicated. Eric’s guidance was invaluable . After going through the reconstruction, everything Eric told us turned out to be true. The project flowed very well and the finished product exceeded our expectations. Kennco, through the years, has established a good reputation and a solid relationship with area insurance companies. This is a very important factor in choosing the right construction company for a project of this magnitude. A fire damaged remodel is totally different from a new house construction. Again, this is a major factor in choosing the right construction company. Eric has put together a good staff within his company and has developed good relationships with quality subcontractors. The on location supervisors and the internal accounting department personnel were all first class. Any issues of concern that arose were addressed immediately and resolved in a cordial discussion.

Rob D: I worked with Ivan for over a year. Had nothing poor to say about him, or his business the entire time. Last winter he had us work an hour from home, and when it came time to pay his bill, Ivan said he couldn't. Apparently when Ivan has issues with his customers, Ivan doesn't pay his sub contractors. There was nothing wrong with the work, or any issues other than Ivan just said Ivan won't pay his bills. When i pressed him about paying, he told me he owes 10's of thousands to sub contractors, basically telling me my check was not a priority for him.Wrote this once before and he threatened me with a lawsuit if I didn't take it down. Then Ivan said he would pay if I would take it down. That was over 5 weeks ago now, and no check still. It's a shame the people that seem nice, and good to work with, are just as crooked as the bad ones. This is my experience with Olive Street builders ran by Ivan Valble at morelock builders. Good luck people. I hope anyone thinking of hiring/working for this company has second thoughts for their own sake.To revise this again now, on 5/31/23 they ( meaning morelock hired employees)have left me a message saying they will pay if I take this bad review down, and sign a waiver. I will be taking this to my attorney, and seeing what avenues to take legally.Holding a working man's check ransom for a job well done, so they can save face hopefully for not paying him when they should have. Guess we see why it isn't Morelock-Ross anymore. Don't use this half people. What a shameful game they play. Ivan Valble, you are a very poor example of good character and ethics. Pay your bill, and eat your meal you made yourself.

Soledad Hunsaker: We had our home built by Morelock and have had numerous issues on this brand new home. Had leaks in both bathroom sinks, had leak in the kitchen sink. Had huge leak in the master bath shower, the water was literally just running free onto the crawl space, causing a big pond underneath, see picture. The electricity went out in our hall and guest bathroom, we had nothing plugged, just bad wiring. This brand new home has been a money pit. Now we discovered another issue, the HVAC condensation pipe was installed incorrectly causing black mold. This is in the attic, so it's been leaking for a year until I heard it dripping along a wall. We hired a company to fix, another $450 out of our pocket, see pictures.
