Oz Radford: To be clear, ServPro sent me a postcard requesting that I leave a review, so here we are. I hired them to replace wood floors after a small fire, and to clean up the smoke damage. To their credit, they did do these things, hence not a one-star review. However, giving a very, very low rating because I cannot recommend them in good conscience. For anyone considering hiring them, I am providing a full overview so that you can make your own decisions. TLDR: service was good, *when I could get them to do it.* The most charitable assessment of their issues are major inter-company communication issues.The Good:-Hiring them was a breeze, getting a quote was no issue. The floor redo was excellent. The construction contractor was great, responsive-The actual wood floors guy and painters did a lovely job-For all of the complaints that I am about to lodge, the company DID try to rectify these issues. However, that does not excuse a lot of itThe Bad:-It took them nearly a full month after receiving my quote to begin work-It took them about two months to get me back into my house (more on this later)-Huge issue: the subcontractors they hired to move my furniture were awful. After my newly done floors were completed, the movers proceeded to scratch it up. A huge scratchy mess in the foyer. A long, deep scratch going across my living room. A huge gouge in one of my doorframes. To be fair to ServPro, they DID offer to fully redo the floors again, or to mitigate the damage (I chose mitigate), and they seemed genuinely remorseful. However, if you are resolute in using ServPro, I would recommend getting an independent moving service-This took so long that insurance stopped paying for my hotel-They left several items in the storage pod, to the point that when it was picked up, *I* was required to help move the remaining items-The movers also did not put up any of my wall hangings: whiteboards, mirrors, corkboards, key rack, art, etc. (ServPro did later agree to put them back, after asking)-They *tore my bedframe apart*. I understand that there can be some issues taking furniture apart, but it was apparent that a screw had actually been yanked out (ServPro did write me a check for the full value of the bedframe)-They also ripped one of my bookshelves out of the wall, and placed it back, backwards (ServPro agreed to pay for the bookshelf, but never did)-It was never communicated to me that the work was finished, only that it "would be done soon." I had to personally call to ask, because I couldn't tell, save for the fact workers stopped coming by, because...The Ugly:-I paid nearly $5000 for them to clean the smoke damage. On paper, in my contract, all parties looked over, and reviewed this. I was repeatedly assured that the cleaning would take place after all of the floor work was done, and all furniture was moved back in. I called to ask "You're going to clean this up, right?" And I was assured "yeah, we'll wipe it down." Wipe it down? I paid for a full clean of the HVAC, and all surfaces, mortar, and furniture cleaning, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Lo and behold, I call, they tell me they are *fully* done with the work, I ask "has it been cleaned?" and they say "yes."-I get back, and there's mouse feces and urine EVERYWHERE. So no, I think not. To ServPro's credit, when I called them about this, they DID admit that they hadn't checked to make sure it was cleaned, and scheduled to come back and clean, and put stuff back on my wall-Upon reflection, I wonder *who* they thought was going to clean my house. The last people in my house were the subcontracted movers, NOT cleaners-Before the cleaning fiasco, the receptionist called to snippily ask me "when should we expect payment." In retrospect, this is rich, since they apparently weren't planning to do the work I was paying for (and the reason I hadn't paid yet, is because I had added something to the job, and they hadn't sent me an updated invoice)Overall: I am not sure why it was repeatedly my job to make sure that they did what I paid them to doServices:Flood restoration,Flood cleanup,Flooring,Fire damage cleanup repair

Michael Williams: This company was fast and responsive when I called about a hot water heater that dropped 10k gallons in the house. Miles was here next day even with bad road conditions and had his crew out to get started the next day. Cody and Damian of the deconstruction crew was on top of it and had the sup floors and effected areas removed in just a few days. Miles was communications with me on what was happening what next steps would be. They even set a container and had their people box everything up and place it in a pod. Tondy is the one I met in this area and she was amazing she was very informative asking if I was happy with how things was stacked and put away. Adam Schneider: The thing I loved about Robert was how honest he was from the initial interaction I had with him. I had some water damage around my foundation of my house, which I addressed by extending the downspouts and grading soil away from the home. I had countless mold remediation companies come out to inspect my crawlspace, informing me I needed to to x,y,z and was going to cost me thousands of dollars. Robert simply recommended we dry out the area in the crawlspace, install a vapor barrier and therefore no mold would continue to grow. This has been effective so far.
