Community Blood Center of the Ozarks: what do users think?
Mark Bricker: Super friendly staff. Doing something good for the community. Plus a free t-shirt.
Jacob D.: I really enjoy going to donate at the cbco it's pretty nice to be able to go and to give blood and get yourself a t-shirt they've also got some snacks once you're done you can go get a beverage or maybe a little something sweet sometime some Savory like a chips they've got all sorts of stuff and in addition to the T-shirt you never going to leave empty-handed for sure they're also always given away the chance to win prizes as well as just straight up Rises just for donating within a certain month never pass up the opportunity because it's for good cause you don't get paid up front but that's because it goes to real living people and not scientists doing a bunch of research and a lab you know that your blood is going to another living human being that and could potentially save some lives overall I would say that it is a bloody good time
Barbara Allison: Helping supply needed platelets and plasma to area hospitals.
Alyssa Johnson: My husband and I had a date night here, great service and snacks. Gave blood for the first time here because I was convince free sushi. I was super nervous that my legs were shaking. The nurse was funny and positive throughout the whole thing. They also have the best snack selection afterwards like twinkies, cheese itz , nutty buddy, and a good drink selection. It only cost a pint of blood to eat! 4/10 for date nights, 10/10 for saving lives
James LePage: PLEASE CHANGE THE HOURS ON YOUR SITE WHEN YOU CLOSE EARLY!!!
Markus Blain: I'm a regular platelet donor so I come in every other week or so. The folks at CBCO are always great and they're part of the reason I'm happy to pop in as often as I can. The check-in process is quick and the staff are friendly. They make the entire process as painless as possible. Even the actual donation bit (because let's be honest, being stuck with an 18g needle isn't the best feeling in the world). I'm a notoriously hard stick and they rarely miss - which is quite a feat when it comes to my veins.I'm glad there's CBCO. It feels good to donate and do so with a place that takes the time to make sure you're comfortable and taken care of.
Jennifer Clemons: I really went back and forth about posting a review but I'm very disappointed with my experience. I booked an appointment online and you have to choose a time. I show up to the appointment 5 minutes early to be told I need to wait 45 min or more. I point out I have an appointment to which I'm told all the appointment does is tell staff you plan on being there at some point during that day to donate. I don't understand why you would choose a time if that's the point and nowhere during the process is this communicated until you show up to the blood drive site. I work and had scheduled work appointments around the time I reserved. The woman working he desk just told me to come back before 5pm.
Connie Westerman: Happy to help with donating platelets for area hosptals.
OZAMan 10: I've been in the Springfield Missouri area for about 6 months now and given blood to CBCO twice. Each time I was helped in a timely manner. I went through the question portion after a very short sign in period. On both dates, after the electronic questions, I was immediately processed in the blood testing room...no waiting around. All test were quick, professional and good conversation.Lastly the blood drawing was relatively painless and pleasant. Great conversation with phlebotomist that seem to enjoy being there. All in all a couple of great experiences. Absolutely nothing to complain about, other than the quick pass isn't super user friendly. Although, they were so punctual with everything, I don't believe it necessary to fill it out previous to arrival.I will be back in a few months and if anything changes I will update this review. Thanks CBCO...excellent job!
wendy: Donate to the American Red Cross Centers - they are very professional and friendly !!
Bossin Brine: Worst place to donate and to work. I frequently had bad experiences as a donor where I was ignored, and belittled. Just donate at Red Cross instead, they are a lot more friendly and a much better stick. Heard they have bad management and workers complain about working there everytime I come in.
Jordan Leslie: Providing blood to the community is a wonderful thing. However, working for this company is awful. I spent of year of my life there and I have never been so stressed out and depressed because of a job before. The roads staff is responsible for majority of the blood being supplied but is treated the worst out of all the workers. Communication, there is absolutely none. No true breaks or meal times for working all day. Too much overtime. Sometimes your home by 9pm but scheduled to be back at 5am. Supervisors don’t supervise but instead take advantage of their position. The drama is bad x5. And most of it is from the older women that have worked there for a while that just pick on younger staff. Management in the offices do nothing to help road staff and would rather write individuals up or fire them for any inconveniences they don’t want to deal with.
Clay Neely: Sitting at the current blood drive as I type this! Pre-Registration online and made an appointment since I am a local business owner and “work” interestingly, the door checkin never notified any staff of the online documented 12:40 appointment… This is a very unorganized event!!!! Shame on you mobile team!!
Raegen Blade: Not a good place to donate. Staff there is super rude. Management runs things very poorly. Very displeased with my experience there.
bella blade: Horrible place to work and donate. Blood doesn’t go where they say it does. They treat there employees horrible and the CEO And management are all corrupt
Krislynn Woolery: CBCO came to the hospital where I work I went down to give blood answered all the questions got blood pressure checked, temperature, and hemoglobin checked all came back fine. When they finally went over all the questions I answered because I was on antibiotics for cellulitis they deferred me for 7 days which I understand that but they should have looked at questions before poking me in the finger. I also was not even giving a hoodie that they were giving out because I did not donate blood. It’s not my fault I was unable I tried and I feel like every person that shows there heart is in the right place and tried to do something selfless should be shown appreciation. When I called and asked about it I was told that this started last year and there was nothing that could be done and there hands were tired. I will never donate to this establishment again. I know I’m not the only one that has been deferred today and I feel like when someone’s heart is in the right place they should get a little I’m sorry you could not donate but we appreciate you trying.
Randall Rahlf: On 10/4 I had an appointment to donate blood at the Holiday Island Elks. I filled out the donor quick pass before going to the appointment. After doing all of the preliminary screening ( blood pressure, blood sample, pulse etc) they ask about the quick pass questions concerning vaccines, I told them I had recently received a shingles vaccination (about a week prior). I am now told, I cannot donate today. After answering 50 questions on quick pass, one of which asked about vaccinations, which I answered yes. Now they tell me the shingles vaccination is a disqualification for donating, could have stated that on the quick pass questionnaire. Wasted my time, I will not be donating to this group ever again. So unprofessional. No good deed goes unpunished.
Patty Smith: Beautiful plants, great service
Jan Milton: They are always very friendly when donating blood. More so than the credit card companies.
Jean Ackley: Great organized place. Always friendly and professional.
Michelle Carroll: I was called and told blood was desperately needed and I have O+ blood. So just like everytime they call i made an appt. When i drove across town to do the donation with my quick pass in hand i was turned away at the door because I have panic attacks when wearing the mask. I did however have a mask I was holding over my face when talking to people and planned to do the same when they were starting and ending the process. Probly will go to red cross from now on.

American Red Cross Blood Donation Center: what do users think?
A Mitchell: Great everyone should give
David Collignon: I am e regular donor at this facility. Always a pleasant experience.
Slagatron Slim: Staff is always friendly, positive, they remember me by name now since I come semi consistently, they're always stocked on snacks. I donate platelets which takes upwards of two hours so they have a TV set up to w watch Netflix for platelets donations. And again, the staff are so very friendly. I appreciate it
Kendra Henderson: I went on Saturday morning to donate platelets! Becky and Guy were so friendly I felt comfortable immediately! I was terrified going in at first because I’ve never donated and I hate needles but I had a very good experience and will be going back again! They were both knowledgeable and Becky explained everything to me before we got started! Also donating platelets takes awhile but so they gave me and my friend snacks, brought me a blanket, a set of headphones for me and my friend, and set us up with Netflix. So I was able to binge watch Netflix, hang out with my friend, and stuff my face while helping other people! It’s a win win really! And I can’t forget all the cool stuff I got for donating, I’ll let that be a mystery and an incentive for you guys to go find out for yourselves!Thank you guys for making it so easy and even kinda fun to donate! ☺️☺️☺️
Joe Moll: Great people
Daniel Provance: A Great place to give blood!!!
J S: These guys are always amazing
Paul Luce: Always extreamly friendly and appreciative.I'm at 23.5 gallons donated. I am alive because several people took the time to donate in 1986 so blood was there when I was hit head on by a drunk driver on 1/1/1987 @ 2230. Giving blood/platelets is the least I can do.
Mary Duerkop: I've only had positive experiences here!
Kirstie Leslie: Great place to donate. The staff is friendly and good at what they do.

CSL Plasma: what do users think?
Ashley Mecino: Great people and always very nice when I come in!!
Adriana Tuimavave: Alli was awesome! Great personality, great attitude, enjoys her job! Did awesome with my assessment.
Travis Burt: Their manager Josh is a complete and untter d bag and likes to make men’s wifes cry and be completely disrespectful after being asked respectfully to not say something then laugh In their face about it
Randy Whitworth: Bri did awesome. 1 poke and done.
Walter Jones: Bri and Elaine were awesome..I really enjoy my time here.
Kendall Wells: Bri is awesome!! Thanks for making it a great time donating by being hilarious!!
Danna Therrien: Great experience. The staff are very helpful and friendly and Bri made the experience very smooth and enjoyable.
Amber Compton: Bri was wonderful!
Michael Thurman: I go in knowing safety is their #1 priority and also their ability to get us in and out in a timely manner, to top it off. Shoutout to Bre for always sharing her gregarious personality with the donors. She is a professional, no doubt, and undoubtedly, a notable face of this particular CSL location. Never had any issues, but have had lots of laughter while sitting in them chairs. Much appreciation to everyone I have interacted with, thank you.
Dylan Rosemann: Bri is truly one of our best! She is always so kind and attentive to donors and fellow employees alike. She really makes a notable difference in the work flow. Thank you Bri!!
Cheyann Kenady: Bri and Katilynn were amazing today they were both working extremely hard and efficiently helping out their co workers and getting people back as quickly as possible! Everyone is always really nice I can’t remember everyone’s name but everyone is amazing!!
Trap Phone: I have a lot of scar tissue so it is rare I have a good stick without adjustment. Bri always gets it right every time and has minimal adjustments needed. I hope to get her every donation!
James Spears: Bri was amazing and very friendly
Danny Norton: Kathy is great 👍. I was having trouble with the new app on my phone and she stayed with me and helped work through the problem. Now I can access it very quickly. She is always there with a smile and a helping hand to make the day and donation go better. She is a big asset to the CSL Plasma staff. I can always donate at some other facility, but staff members like Kathy, are the reason I donate at CSL on Glenstone.
Cora: Just started going there and so far everyone has been super helpful and friendly! Everyone here has been very nice and treats you like a person not just an arm they have to stick! Bri especially stands out. She’s very professional and attentive.
Rebekah Wilkinson: BRI IS THE BEST… I LOVE HER She reads my mind every time
Austin Burnette: Elkai is a beast ifI could rated a six I would the whole staff was great so I will tell my friends and family Michelle, Addison, Elkai, Perry, Kaitlyn Bri-Bri, bill Nye the sticking guy and whoever I didn't get you guys are awesome keep it up
gjetta moss: Elkai is amazing!!! Always kind and friendly!!!
tdb1986k: Bri is the best! I have been donating for years and Bri is always professional. Bri always uses my name and makes me feel appreciated. She is very timely and smooth. The rest of the staff is good as well but just wanted to recognize above and beyond service.
Daniel Campbell: Big shout out to Bri! 💯 Come by to CSL to get some money. Even if you don't really need it. It's nice to have some money 💰 on the side. Last minute need of a tire? Us the money you been saving. Have a vacation coming up? Use that money! Investing in Stocks? Sweet! Free money in away. Or use it for your small businesses. The use is endless! Come by to CSL and get your money! 🤑
Tammy Meade: I am a first timer. Went in with all my credentials. Was told I live too far away and I am not allowed to donate. This is closest facility from where I live. I guess because I live in rural community I'm not allowed to help. That's OK. Biolife will take me.

BioLife Plasma Services: what do users think?
Bill Horton: Overall this facility is clean, well-staffed, and wait times are usually minimal. I have been donating at the Erie location twice a week for 7 months now. The vast majority of needle sticks are great, and have only had a few sticks that were uncomfortable. Nyah did the most perfect needle stick I've ever had in over 40 yrs of donating blood/blood products. Bailey in medical screening is an absolute delight, and my day is made every time she does my medical.
Amelia Howe: I have been donating for about 6 months and I always have a good experience. The staff is friendly and the donation process is easy. I get to sit for an hour and read while I make money! Thanks Nathaniel and Maggie!
David Hall: The people there a friendly professional clean environment I highly recommend them
Shane Hartley: Been going to this Center for years. Staff is very friendly! Facility is clean!
Lydia Redd: Well, where do I even begin? My experience at this plasma center was truly electrifying! From the moment I walked in, I felt like a superhero ready to save the world with my precious life juice. The staff were so friendly and welcoming (special shout out to Nathaniel, and Daulton) I almost forgot they were about to stick a needle in my arm! And let me tell you, these guys are needle ninjas - I didn't feel a thing! It was like being cuddled by a fluffy cloud, if fluffy clouds were made of metal and sharp objects.Overall, I highly recommend this plasma center to anyone looking for a fun, exhilarating, and slightly terrifying experience.
Samantha B: I've had good experiences here 9 out of 10 times, and I've been here a lot. Always clean. The employees are pretty great, and there are enough that you can request someone else if there is any issue with a specific person.
Joseph Dale: Inconsistent donation policies and assumption of nonexistent medical problems. Lack of training for staff and terrible communication.
Melissa Seal: I’ve been a donor here for 3 months and I’m very happy with the cleanliness of the facility and the overall operation of it but I’ve had a few VERY unpleasant encounters with some of the staff. It seems to be hit or miss with that. The staff is either very polite and friendly or the complete opposite. I’ve had 3 different encounters with staff that were shockingly rude. Most are friendly but there’s a few bad apples and we all know what bad apples do. They spoil it for the bunch. I’m still donating there but considering checking out other centers to see if the overall experience isn’t better elsewhere.
Janet Scott: Megan is always a pleasure. But there is no here that isn't a pleasure just a wonderful staff.
Andrea Vilmain: Bio life plasma has always been a quick easy way for me to make extra cash if needed and everyone is always nice and helpful.
Ethan McSpadden: Best place to donate Plasma!
Tyler Furst (VERITAS VITA LUX): Love how clean, fast and friendly they are
Scott & Danielle Norris: It was 4pm and I got in and out quickly! Rhonda Norris provided excellent service! Good job Biolife!!
Marcus Axon: Conner was awesome today and his positive attitude was uplifting and inspiring. We need more people like him In customer service
Ju Nu: For years they were great, seems like they no longer need donors. It was understood that under policy you could not log in 10 minutes before or 10 min after yours scheduled time, but they won’t even follow their own policies, I get if I was 9 minutes past my time, but I was 4 minutes past my 7 o’clock appointment on 4/26/23, they basically stated that they couldn’t and wouldn’t do anything about it and come another day. after other issues i think it’s time to just quit. While I was compensated they seem to no longer need donors. Thank you, but your repeated customer service and treatment to you donors seems to indicate you don’t wish us there or at least me there.-Clearly, the response was a copy and paste and not even read. There was no wait time at all, they just turned me away because they have turned off all their EDQs and they didn't feel like turning them back on even though I was within their center’s guidelines when arriving at the appt I made and had to drive 40 minutes for.
Mary Caperton: I just witness my friend be so disappointed, he did everything right made it within their guidelines just to be turned away because they don’t wanna follow their own rules. What a sad way to run a business.
Jacklyn Cook: The process was very easy and everything was streamlined and professional. I liked all the staff, they were friendly and personable.
Macy Magdziarz: The best biolife I have been to! Everyone is so nice and accommodating, also very fast considering their high volumes. Definitely recommend! Only thing I would say needs improving is their finger scanners at the questionnaire computers. Love this location!!
Karen Coffman: Love everyone here !!
Becky Myers: Clean friendly efficient.
Kay Engelking: The staff here at the Erie location are the best!! They work together as a team to get donors in and out as quickly as possible. They are very knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable through out the donation processes from the time you walk in until you leave. My husband and I have been coming here for 5 yrs now and we would definitely recommend them.

American Red Cross: what do users think?
Lynn Davila: We had a house fire and ARC never followed up, after leaving messages, email, and submitting through Contact Us. When I did finally talk to someone, they said they would offer help with getting personal documents replaced and then nothing again. What a joke!
drake hall: Today I donated for my first time, I got light headed and almost passed out but they were very quick to treat me and pampered me 🤣 made sure I was feeling okay. And they were very very welcoming. I felt safe in their presence.
Marlena Houk: I had recently had a house fire and American Red Cross was able to help my family able to survive through this tragic event that we went through. Thank you Red Cross. For families that go through very difficult situations please don't feel like you're taking advantage in desperate times. Reach out to American Red Cross let them help you and seek out other organizations that will be able to help you get back on your feet
charles mckee: If place to go if you need help bowling bad and I got to say is not very fast so if you're in a hurry my number event the best place
Sam Sciaroni: I had been trying to get CPR certification for weeks. They cancelled the course five days before my scheduled class. When I needed to cancel my rescheduled class within 10 days I couldn't get a full refund. Go to the AHA.
Joyce Clay: we had an apartment fire and this place was not helpful at all we lost everything no food not anything and i have 7 children we couldnt get help for food or clothing and the first thing they said is well we gave you money well, you do the math, clothes and shoes and food and paying for a hotel yeah, what we need was resources assistance with a food pantry housing resources help with getting id and birth certificate because we lost everything. springfield only help if your on meth and have no income, if your a black family seeking help for christian resources good luck u will be on the street with kids and no one will help
Donald Hossli: Nice facility for obtaining my instructor certifications.
Virginia Trimmer: Last Friday my family had a apartment fire. Our bedroom caught on fire due to someone throwing a lit cigarette on our patio and it blew under our slidding doors. Our 12 year old son caught it and started putting it out then ran next door amd called for help and got out. The fire was STILL going strong under our place. ANYWAYS yesterday my husband and I went to salvation army and we called Red cross from there. Told them all that happened and they blessed us with help to get things needed ALONG with salvation army! I'll forever be grateful for your help and kindness in our time of need.God bless y'all! Thank you a million times over!Jesus said, when you help the least of these, you help Me! 🙏❤
Carl Hawke: Taught a class here. It was good.
Debora Lesmes: They're all great people who make you comfortable...practically painless & you get gifts & snacks.
