Community Blood Center of the Ozarks: what do users think?
Mark Bricker: Super friendly staff. Doing something good for the community. Plus a free t-shirt.
Jacob D.: I really enjoy going to donate at the cbco it's pretty nice to be able to go and to give blood and get yourself a t-shirt they've also got some snacks once you're done you can go get a beverage or maybe a little something sweet sometime some Savory like a chips they've got all sorts of stuff and in addition to the T-shirt you never going to leave empty-handed for sure they're also always given away the chance to win prizes as well as just straight up Rises just for donating within a certain month never pass up the opportunity because it's for good cause you don't get paid up front but that's because it goes to real living people and not scientists doing a bunch of research and a lab you know that your blood is going to another living human being that and could potentially save some lives overall I would say that it is a bloody good time
Barbara Allison: Helping supply needed platelets and plasma to area hospitals.
Alyssa Johnson: My husband and I had a date night here, great service and snacks. Gave blood for the first time here because I was convince free sushi. I was super nervous that my legs were shaking. The nurse was funny and positive throughout the whole thing. They also have the best snack selection afterwards like twinkies, cheese itz , nutty buddy, and a good drink selection. It only cost a pint of blood to eat! 4/10 for date nights, 10/10 for saving lives
James LePage: PLEASE CHANGE THE HOURS ON YOUR SITE WHEN YOU CLOSE EARLY!!!
Markus Blain: I'm a regular platelet donor so I come in every other week or so. The folks at CBCO are always great and they're part of the reason I'm happy to pop in as often as I can. The check-in process is quick and the staff are friendly. They make the entire process as painless as possible. Even the actual donation bit (because let's be honest, being stuck with an 18g needle isn't the best feeling in the world). I'm a notoriously hard stick and they rarely miss - which is quite a feat when it comes to my veins.I'm glad there's CBCO. It feels good to donate and do so with a place that takes the time to make sure you're comfortable and taken care of.
Jennifer Clemons: I really went back and forth about posting a review but I'm very disappointed with my experience. I booked an appointment online and you have to choose a time. I show up to the appointment 5 minutes early to be told I need to wait 45 min or more. I point out I have an appointment to which I'm told all the appointment does is tell staff you plan on being there at some point during that day to donate. I don't understand why you would choose a time if that's the point and nowhere during the process is this communicated until you show up to the blood drive site. I work and had scheduled work appointments around the time I reserved. The woman working he desk just told me to come back before 5pm.
Connie Westerman: Happy to help with donating platelets for area hosptals.
OZAMan 10: I've been in the Springfield Missouri area for about 6 months now and given blood to CBCO twice. Each time I was helped in a timely manner. I went through the question portion after a very short sign in period. On both dates, after the electronic questions, I was immediately processed in the blood testing room...no waiting around. All test were quick, professional and good conversation.Lastly the blood drawing was relatively painless and pleasant. Great conversation with phlebotomist that seem to enjoy being there. All in all a couple of great experiences. Absolutely nothing to complain about, other than the quick pass isn't super user friendly. Although, they were so punctual with everything, I don't believe it necessary to fill it out previous to arrival.I will be back in a few months and if anything changes I will update this review. Thanks CBCO...excellent job!
wendy: Donate to the American Red Cross Centers - they are very professional and friendly !!
Bossin Brine: Worst place to donate and to work. I frequently had bad experiences as a donor where I was ignored, and belittled. Just donate at Red Cross instead, they are a lot more friendly and a much better stick. Heard they have bad management and workers complain about working there everytime I come in.
Jordan Leslie: Providing blood to the community is a wonderful thing. However, working for this company is awful. I spent of year of my life there and I have never been so stressed out and depressed because of a job before. The roads staff is responsible for majority of the blood being supplied but is treated the worst out of all the workers. Communication, there is absolutely none. No true breaks or meal times for working all day. Too much overtime. Sometimes your home by 9pm but scheduled to be back at 5am. Supervisors don’t supervise but instead take advantage of their position. The drama is bad x5. And most of it is from the older women that have worked there for a while that just pick on younger staff. Management in the offices do nothing to help road staff and would rather write individuals up or fire them for any inconveniences they don’t want to deal with.
Clay Neely: Sitting at the current blood drive as I type this! Pre-Registration online and made an appointment since I am a local business owner and “work” interestingly, the door checkin never notified any staff of the online documented 12:40 appointment… This is a very unorganized event!!!! Shame on you mobile team!!
Raegen Blade: Not a good place to donate. Staff there is super rude. Management runs things very poorly. Very displeased with my experience there.
bella blade: Horrible place to work and donate. Blood doesn’t go where they say it does. They treat there employees horrible and the CEO And management are all corrupt
Krislynn Woolery: CBCO came to the hospital where I work I went down to give blood answered all the questions got blood pressure checked, temperature, and hemoglobin checked all came back fine. When they finally went over all the questions I answered because I was on antibiotics for cellulitis they deferred me for 7 days which I understand that but they should have looked at questions before poking me in the finger. I also was not even giving a hoodie that they were giving out because I did not donate blood. It’s not my fault I was unable I tried and I feel like every person that shows there heart is in the right place and tried to do something selfless should be shown appreciation. When I called and asked about it I was told that this started last year and there was nothing that could be done and there hands were tired. I will never donate to this establishment again. I know I’m not the only one that has been deferred today and I feel like when someone’s heart is in the right place they should get a little I’m sorry you could not donate but we appreciate you trying.
Randall Rahlf: On 10/4 I had an appointment to donate blood at the Holiday Island Elks. I filled out the donor quick pass before going to the appointment. After doing all of the preliminary screening ( blood pressure, blood sample, pulse etc) they ask about the quick pass questions concerning vaccines, I told them I had recently received a shingles vaccination (about a week prior). I am now told, I cannot donate today. After answering 50 questions on quick pass, one of which asked about vaccinations, which I answered yes. Now they tell me the shingles vaccination is a disqualification for donating, could have stated that on the quick pass questionnaire. Wasted my time, I will not be donating to this group ever again. So unprofessional. No good deed goes unpunished.
Patty Smith: Beautiful plants, great service
Jan Milton: They are always very friendly when donating blood. More so than the credit card companies.
Jean Ackley: Great organized place. Always friendly and professional.
Michelle Carroll: I was called and told blood was desperately needed and I have O+ blood. So just like everytime they call i made an appt. When i drove across town to do the donation with my quick pass in hand i was turned away at the door because I have panic attacks when wearing the mask. I did however have a mask I was holding over my face when talking to people and planned to do the same when they were starting and ending the process. Probly will go to red cross from now on.

BioLife Plasma Services: what do users think?
Bill Horton: Overall this facility is clean, well-staffed, and wait times are usually minimal. I have been donating at the Erie location twice a week for 7 months now. The vast majority of needle sticks are great, and have only had a few sticks that were uncomfortable. Nyah did the most perfect needle stick I've ever had in over 40 yrs of donating blood/blood products. Bailey in medical screening is an absolute delight, and my day is made every time she does my medical.
Amelia Howe: I have been donating for about 6 months and I always have a good experience. The staff is friendly and the donation process is easy. I get to sit for an hour and read while I make money! Thanks Nathaniel and Maggie!
David Hall: The people there a friendly professional clean environment I highly recommend them
Shane Hartley: Been going to this Center for years. Staff is very friendly! Facility is clean!
Lydia Redd: Well, where do I even begin? My experience at this plasma center was truly electrifying! From the moment I walked in, I felt like a superhero ready to save the world with my precious life juice. The staff were so friendly and welcoming (special shout out to Nathaniel, and Daulton) I almost forgot they were about to stick a needle in my arm! And let me tell you, these guys are needle ninjas - I didn't feel a thing! It was like being cuddled by a fluffy cloud, if fluffy clouds were made of metal and sharp objects.Overall, I highly recommend this plasma center to anyone looking for a fun, exhilarating, and slightly terrifying experience.
Samantha B: I've had good experiences here 9 out of 10 times, and I've been here a lot. Always clean. The employees are pretty great, and there are enough that you can request someone else if there is any issue with a specific person.
Joseph Dale: Inconsistent donation policies and assumption of nonexistent medical problems. Lack of training for staff and terrible communication.
Melissa Seal: I’ve been a donor here for 3 months and I’m very happy with the cleanliness of the facility and the overall operation of it but I’ve had a few VERY unpleasant encounters with some of the staff. It seems to be hit or miss with that. The staff is either very polite and friendly or the complete opposite. I’ve had 3 different encounters with staff that were shockingly rude. Most are friendly but there’s a few bad apples and we all know what bad apples do. They spoil it for the bunch. I’m still donating there but considering checking out other centers to see if the overall experience isn’t better elsewhere.
Janet Scott: Megan is always a pleasure. But there is no here that isn't a pleasure just a wonderful staff.
Andrea Vilmain: Bio life plasma has always been a quick easy way for me to make extra cash if needed and everyone is always nice and helpful.
Ethan McSpadden: Best place to donate Plasma!
Tyler Furst (VERITAS VITA LUX): Love how clean, fast and friendly they are
Scott & Danielle Norris: It was 4pm and I got in and out quickly! Rhonda Norris provided excellent service! Good job Biolife!!
Marcus Axon: Conner was awesome today and his positive attitude was uplifting and inspiring. We need more people like him In customer service
Ju Nu: For years they were great, seems like they no longer need donors. It was understood that under policy you could not log in 10 minutes before or 10 min after yours scheduled time, but they won’t even follow their own policies, I get if I was 9 minutes past my time, but I was 4 minutes past my 7 o’clock appointment on 4/26/23, they basically stated that they couldn’t and wouldn’t do anything about it and come another day. after other issues i think it’s time to just quit. While I was compensated they seem to no longer need donors. Thank you, but your repeated customer service and treatment to you donors seems to indicate you don’t wish us there or at least me there.-Clearly, the response was a copy and paste and not even read. There was no wait time at all, they just turned me away because they have turned off all their EDQs and they didn't feel like turning them back on even though I was within their center’s guidelines when arriving at the appt I made and had to drive 40 minutes for.
Mary Caperton: I just witness my friend be so disappointed, he did everything right made it within their guidelines just to be turned away because they don’t wanna follow their own rules. What a sad way to run a business.
Jacklyn Cook: The process was very easy and everything was streamlined and professional. I liked all the staff, they were friendly and personable.
Macy Magdziarz: The best biolife I have been to! Everyone is so nice and accommodating, also very fast considering their high volumes. Definitely recommend! Only thing I would say needs improving is their finger scanners at the questionnaire computers. Love this location!!
Karen Coffman: Love everyone here !!
Becky Myers: Clean friendly efficient.
Kay Engelking: The staff here at the Erie location are the best!! They work together as a team to get donors in and out as quickly as possible. They are very knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable through out the donation processes from the time you walk in until you leave. My husband and I have been coming here for 5 yrs now and we would definitely recommend them.

BioLife Plasma Services: what do users think?
Autum Smith: Great people and always friendly! Thank you!
Tyler Johnson: This place is great, although I suspect they are a front for a Chinese spy operation.I'll explain. When I donated today, I was put in the pink section with Austin and Levi. If you rearrange the letters in Levi, you get "evil." If you rearrange the letters in Austin, you get "Anti US." I was in the pink section, and pink rhymes with link. A link is part of a chain. If you scramble the letters of "chain," you get China. Open and shut case, Danno.Either way they paid me $115 so I'm happy. 10/10 will return!
Wade Atkeson: They are very Friendly. Make sure your comfortable.
Sierra Moore: I’ve been coming here for a few years and am terrified of the thought of going to another center, lol. Isy and Austin are some of my favorite people here because they are just so funny and considerate, but everyone is so kind and thoughtful! You can tell they really care about us donors and I’m grateful to get to help people by coming !
Ana C: This place is out of control the staff is unprofessional and they kept stabbing my arm and missing the vein. Then when I tried to talk to management about it they chose to defer me from all donation locations national wide instead of talking to their hired professionals or retraining the staff that was on duty. I tried to contact the main franchise and talk to someone else in regards to this particular location and the multiple occasions, no one contacted me back. I even went as so far as trying to file a police report because they neglected to listen to me and hear out the situation. The staff just pretended to be completely clueless and incomprehensible of the English language.
Hannah Lemons: BioLife is a great place to donate plasma.
Alexandria Smith: I felt like I was being dismissed and my questions were just being answered half heartedly by a nurse. I was rejected because of a medication I used to take it had been a month since I last took it. So at least she told me I needed a note form my psychiatrist I don't take it anymore or I need a note and get back on it for thirty days. I called after a month trying to just understand what makes my blood unstable and I got no call back I am sure they didn't even look up anything cause they probably don't care unless I fax over the note. Won't be going to donations services again. Don't know what makes my blood unstable but I'll just wanted to donate.
goldschool: This BioLife facility is the best for donors within a 100 mile radius. The staff are always welcoming and attentive. Cleanliness is practiced thoroughly here. The process takes under an hour from signing in to leaving when you come in the morning. BioLife will send you an email with varying payout prices for each donation after signing up.
Shawna West: Mikayla is a sweetheart! Didn’t feel a thing when she inserted the needle!!!
laura benz: Friendly staff, so far!
House of Hurst: Great experience for my first time giving plasma. All staff was very helpful and informative.
Maddyson Burris: They were nice I love the staff but I don’t believe they should of denied me because of the one time I passed out 3 years ago in high school while giving blood because I had not ate or drank anything
Anna Reed: I loved everyone who helped me today. It was my 1st time donating & everyone made it so easy. I love how in depth everything is explained. I also loved that the facility atmosphere as a whole was very happy & everyone was smiling!
Kailey Carcione: McCurry location had a few technical issues with their fingerprint scanners today however everyone on staff handled everyone so perfectly! Because of this they got a little busy however even for a first time donor I feel like I was in and out in a pretty decent amount of time. Such an easy experience!
Jessica Bell: Most of the techs are nice and attentive. 🙂
Caleb Nolan: I’ve been to several donation centers and this is by far the best. The staff is super friendly and helpful and they know what they’re doing, the process didn’t take long at all. I’ve not experienced terrible wait times (although keep in mind, wait times are standard at ANY center). They check up on me via phone between donations to ensure that everything went well and I’m doing alright. Pay for new donors is great. Definitely the cleanest center I’ve been to.
franzel glessner: I know the people there by name and most of them know me By Name Anna has done the last 2 plasma donations and has nailed it most times I got good time on them all the people there are nice and it's fun
Adam Keeton: Really friendly people. Even when they're busy, they always are super nice.
Miya Carroll: They paid me and then the credit card company they go through immediately stole all my money and claimed that I sent it to my boyfriend through cashapp and I hadn’t even gotten the card activated and I went through my cash app transactions and there was absolutely none on the day they said it occured. I’m never going back here. It’s just an elaborate scheme to literally take everything from you. The actual employees are nice but the whole system is rigged. My theory is that when they gave him his “referral bonus” they just took my 210$ and gave 200 to him which he received from Biolife the same day and who knows what happened to that other 10$ Edit to reply to Biolife: I did and that’s when they told me I sent the money to my boyfriend, I’m in the middle of reporting it as fraud but they said IF I get my money back it will be 35-40 business days to even get it back. I’ll be having fun trying not to starve but thankyou for nothing
Donnie Sales: It would be very helpful if the website would tell new donors to bring a social security card or a paystub with the number on it as well as mail from your current address to save time and wasted trips.
Isaac Ewideh: This place used to be much better, but recently they have doubled the amount of people per appointment time. It took 45 minutes just to be screened let alone donate. The amount of being offered is not worth 2 hours of time after already working a full day of work. This is not the workers fault, they need more help and they need management to scale the number of patients to the number of technicians.
