kelderhouse Residence: Was in there today and bought a tail light bulb for my 2005 Chevy cavalier. The young man who sold it to me seemed to be reluctant about putting it in for me. I could tell he really didn't want to fool with it. He honestly looked lazy but thats just my opinion. He came out to the car told me to pop the trunk which I did. He looked at it and quickly said you have to remove the lens cover and I'm not allowed to do that. I went home and looked it up on good 'ol youtube and you don't have to remove the lens!!!! YOu just peel back a small corner of the carpet and unplug the light and plug the new one in. Easy peasey! I did it with great ease and it took me less than 1 minute. When I mentioned this to my dad he told me next time go to O'Reilleys. They actually have knowledgable employees. He said autozone is lazy and their employees are lucky if they know what time of day it is. Lesson learned!

And got my car started.. He helped me find a new battery for my car needs, saved me some time & money.. and installed my new battery..!! A outstanding/awesome person to describe him is an understatement.. my experience here was top tier!! To keep it short!!

Sean Dinger: We rented the Vacuum Pump. It came without the oil. Well we were told it would be in the next morning. So I drove back this morning, in the heat, just to get told it never showed up. The manager said she would "hate for me to drive all the way to Republic/Marshfield" to get the oil. It was her fault I didn't have the oil, I wasn't driving to get it. Especially with no AC. So I had to drive to ORiley's where I had to pay close to $20 for the oil so I could try fixing my AC. Poor communication and very bad attitude. I will not be returning to this location.

The employee offered to put the new cap on for me when he started to put the new cap on he found my original cap it was in a spot that I would not have been able to see it. He offered and did do a refund for me. $9.00 is not a lot to most folks, however to some of us it is the price of a days worth of meals. Still get to pick on my son-in-law for forgetting to put it back on. Thanks again for being a blessing for me today.

The two employees at the registers acted like they knew what they were talking, and clearly did not however so I went over found the fuse myself and went up and showed them that they did carry the type of fuse I needed I guess maybe they were just too lazy to go look for it I don't know point being is what happened to customer service !

Lacey Watkins: I go to Autozone for all my car part needs. This review has nothing to do with Autozone as a company, only this location. Only reason I gave any stars is because it is Autozone, but this location I will not come back to unless I absolutely do NOT have a choice whatsoever. Anytime I have ever came to this store the people working here don’t ever know anything at all auto parts at all, nor are they able to find a way to help, and majority of the employees are not friendly at all. Tonight was the last straw. The tall guy with long, dark is just downright rude as can be. If I would have had time to drive to another location I would have just walked out. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on parts and tools from Autozone, and never have I deat with an employee like this. I have bought many tools, and tonight was the first time I have ever been told I can’t return a tool. A tool that has not been opened (can tell because of the type of packaging it’s in), has not been used, and I had a receipt for. Autozone sells tools that have lifetime warranties on them, but yet you can not return a tool that you did not need and only has one use for. Like I said I will not return to this West Chestnut, Springfield, MO location. If you do not like your job, find another. Also, if you are going to work in an auto part store you need to have some type of knowledge about vehicles of all kinds. Then this location also needs to teach its employees about customer service.

Cody Walker: It is a cold, icy day today. Schools all around the area are closed. Even Missouri State University is closed and they don't close for anything! My wife had to go to work and she was excited to find that they were closing early. That is, until she found out that her car wouldn't start. The cold had killed what remained of her battery. I live across town and I have two kids. Our road is a sheet of ice. I couldn't get out of the house to help but Advance Auto Parts was just down the road from her. I gave them a call and someone drove her, jumped her car, and led her back to their store so she could get a new battery. They were infinitely kind and bent over backwards to help us out. I felt horrible for asking them to jump her car but they didn't think a thing about it. I cannot praise them enough for how kind they were today.

Aaron Kemp: Tried to return brake pads, because they told me they were for my vehicle. They were wrong. I needed brake shoes my debit card got compromised so I can’t do a refund onto the card. Only option I had was gift card I have nothing to buy here and will take my business some where else . Wouldn’t do a cash refund and was told to go back to the original store I bought them at. That is poor customer service.Stick to auto zone.
Lance Larkin: Went to get a Jack, was recommended the 3-ton jack. It was pretty expensive so I said maybe not. One guy mentioned they would price match harbor freight. I went onto their site and seen a similar jack going for 100 less. Manager said they wouldn't price match since harbor freight wasn't even competition. So yall lost business to a store thats not even considered competition I guess! Bought the jack, stands and rubber wheel stops for less than the jack at orileys...
