She was so helpful with all of our questions and was super knowledgeable. The room looked beautiful. All the food was absolutely phenomenal- from the apps to the salad to the entrée. The beef tenderloin (part of our entrée) was cooked perfectly. We received several compliments on the food. We had some guests say it was the best meal they ever had at a wedding. The staff was friendly and helpful too. We can't say enough about Rhonda and Catering St. Louis. We are so happy we chose them for our wedding reception. Everything was perfect.

Alex Sher: We had our wedding at the Botanical Gardens recently and were really impressed with the service we got! Starting with our coordinator (Bailey), she was easy to work with and handled all of the details we charged her with and was very helpful during the planning. The serving staff was excellent, they were very attentive both for the bridal party as well as the rest of the guests (and they paid special attention to us to make sure we could eat and drink even at our busiest moments). The drinks were good, the bartenders knew what they were doing and made some good cocktails even with all of the demand. Finally, the food deserves a special callout as it was incredible. All the appetizers were exactly as remembered during the tasting, and the two dinner courses were phenomenal. A special shout out to the vegetarian option (which was a chef's choice, so we did not have a say in selecting it) - all of our friends and family who had this option raved about it and their words were backed up by their clean plates. We had a great experience with them and would definitely recommend.

The whole process, from reserving the date to the end of the event was wonderful. Ashley N. handled the communication portion through emails and phone calls and was very accommodating to my individual needs, patient with my questions and requests, and remained professional the entire time. Prices were very up front and simple. Victoria was my caterer and Rain was my bartender. They were both professional and very polite. Victoria even went the extra mile to separate the fruit tray from the pasta to ensure that it wouldn't be contaminated by gluten, as my mother has celiac disease and cannot have gluten. My mother's flight ended up being cancelled and she didn't attend, however, to know that someone would pay special attention to detail to make my wedding day special and to honor a beloved family member is priceless to me. Victoria even cut our cake and also made sure to package any leftovers for us. The food was awesome, tasted fresh, and was plenty hot for my guests. I'm so thankful for this experience!

Lyndee Rodamaker: I cannot thank the team at Hendri's enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect! They catered our wedding at Jefferson Underground in September 2022 about 150 people. They brought everything they needed and we didn't have to worry about anything in terms of food or set up. The food was amazing and we received so many compliments. The buffet set up was very professional and looked very pretty for photographs. The disposable plate option was a nice bamboo that looked much more sleek than a paper or plastic option and still allowed us to save a little on rental fees. We also got the mini desserts as part of our catering and they were perfect, so tasty and complimented our small cutting cake beautifully. I was very impressed with how everything turned out, and we had plenty of food. Dan was very accommodating and willing to work around our budget, and I honestly did not even worry about them throughout the day at all, which is exactly what you want as a bride! I would hire them again for catering services in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!

Robin Huellinghoff: Hendri's accommodated a small luncheon where I work yesterday for a friend who came back to work after a 6 month leave. Dan and Mara were quick to respond to all my questions. Dan and his team are remarkably professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and carry a seemingly lost sense of small business "caring" that almost doesn't feel real in today's world. They made things easy, the pricing came in very fair, and the product was far above what we expected for "wedding food". I was approached many times, by multiple guests after the wedding who shared our enthusiasm for the quality of the food, which included several friends who spent more than a decade in food service with me. If you are even considering Hendri's, please give them a call, and meet up with Dan for a consultation and tasting. these folks will treat you like family, and have you questioning why all small businesses don't operate like this anymore. 5 stars all the way. We will likely reach back out for any and all future catering events in the future. PS: we were undecided on the salad, and Dan told us to just let his wife "make it up on the spot based on what is fresh at the time". It was an amazing salad, and I was so happy we just let them run with it.

Dan & Maura were so easy to work with, they handled everything graciously, including multiple menu tweeks and last minute changes in the number of guests! The food was fantastic, with enough variety to accommodate every food need from gluten & dairy free, to vegan & meat eaters. Everything was presented beautifully, the food tasted great and wadcserved by a friendly, professional staff. Hendri's was the cornerstone of our event, I can't recommend them highly enough.

I didn't have to worry about a thing as far as the food and that was great. All the guests made a point to tell me how good the food was and my only regret is I didn't eat soon enough in the evening to try every single thing (weddings, you guys). While I don't ever want to do something this complicated and stressful ever again, I will absolutely recommend (and already have) Hendri's for anyone looking to feed and please lots of guests.

Seriously, they made broccoli taste amazing. Who can do that? They had countless options for us to choose from. Dan and Erin helped me throughout the entire process. I had no idea how to plan a wedding and provide food for tons of people, and I honestly have very little time and energy to care. They completely took over and guided me through everything, educated me, laid out all of my options and let me make decisions from there. They also called me and checked in periodically, which really eased my mind and assured me that the catering side of things was taken care of.I’ll also add that they made me a ketogenic meal for my wedding containing the exact recipe that I gave them. Everything down to the brand of salad dressing and sugar free bacon was provided to me. This bride could not have been more happy and pleased on her wedding day! I highly recommend Hendri’s for any event planning needs.

The venue has this really cool vibe - almost like a speak easy. The bar and archways are beautiful and have some cool history. Together, along with the professional bartenders, to the artists/performers to the Floral Jazz - florist (who by the way did an amazing job with the centerpieces). -- Hendri's staff attended to every detail and no task was too little or too big for them to handle. Out of all the options on the list, Hendri's is the only place to not only contact us and get to know us, they genuinely cared as well. Leading up to our wedding they helped us and the venue come up with the layout for the room, because we were bracing for a cold snowy day. As my stress level was rising, they never fluctuated, they were a solid foundation for us. My husband and I, both respectively work in the industry, so they knew they were in for a party. Boy did they show up. SO MANY of our friends and family raved about the food. Mara absolutely killed it. I had people telling me how disappointed they were in whoever they had booked with in the past because our menu was that phenomenal. Their bar and wait staff were the most hospitable and helped me right before the walk down the aisle ( makers mark in a champagne flute FTW ). So yes just book Hendri's. You will not regret this dynamic duo just crushing all the other catering companies out there in all areas. Thank you both so much for a perfect reception!

From the beautiful wallpaper, to the wood trim, to the fireplace, it was the perfect venue for our winter wedding. Dan and Mara were a delight to work with and always available to answer questions during the planning process. And the food--YUM! Our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed it. They allowed for several customizations and we had to specially request a few vegan meals which was not a problem for them at all. I wish I could have eaten more, but I was beyond full. Not only was it returned, but Larry went a step further as to provide some words of encouragement and confidence though I was going through the toughest time of my life. They genuinely care about not just the business and relationship of their customers, but are empathetic enough to understand what people go through in life and comfort them as best as they can! Even though we canceled services, I still feel like I got the experience I was expecting. That type of sincerity and old school fashion of humanity is hard to come by these days!

Well mine's not going away...Posted a year ago.I booked a banquet here for November 2017 in April of that year. I never did a tasting, only took 20 minutes of one representative’s time to view the venue.I put down $3,000.00 for a date in November.Horrible personal and financial circumstances took place and I called to cancel in May 2017.I explained the situation to the owner and put forward that I understood that a down payment is what is it is. I offered to help find someone to fill that weekend more than 6 months away for even a partial refund. She hastily got off the phone and gave me her email, so I could “officially” cancel in that manner. She responded through email that I would receive no refund, partial or otherwise.I called months later and found that they did book that weekend.$3,000 for 20 minutes of a rep’s time. The time they would give to anyone who would simply decline to give them business.What she did was perfectly legal. I don’t believe it to be moral or ethical.I wouldn’t do business with someone like that. Unfortunately, I already have. Do yourself a favor and don’t.

We had many odd requests (wedding pinata, certain type of buns, etc) and they skillfully accommodated them. We originally planned to use the courtyard for a cocktail hour, and when the weather turned too cold, Candace at the Abbey had a beautiful back up plan ready to go. Candace did a great job running the evening, and was very reliable (which means everything to a bride).The food was delicious, we heard nothing but great things (sadly I didn't have time to eat), the space was comfortable and gorgeous. Shelby Dorrell: We booked our wedding reception with Palladium Saint Louis, and their exclusive caterer is Butler's Pantry. The food they create is beautiful and delicious! They use unique flavors, they have seasonal menus, and they allow you a generous tasting to plan out the menu for your event. There were a variety of tiered options we could choose for our menu. We chose a menu that had three different passed hors d'oeuvre and a buffet with a salad, pasta, meat, a vegetable, and bread. If you so choose, you can have a sit down dinner. The staff was so great about making their way through the large venue space to pass out the appetizers during our cocktail hour to all of the guests. We received multiple compliments regarding the food at our wedding reception, and we could not agree more! There are many things you can stress and worry about on your wedding day, but food should not be one of them! Do yourself a favor, and book Butler's Pantry as your caterer!!

Billie Bright: Our 50th Wedding Anniversary was delightful and in a large part due to our catering from Butler’s Pantry. Every little detail was attended to. The food was fabulous and we received many compliments from our guests. What was most amazing was everyone came in an hour and a half before the party started to set up. By the time the party started, the entire kitchen was cleaned up, the table was beautiful and all our needs were met. We had ample food, ice and it was if they were around when we needed something and totally out of the way when we didn’t. The bar tender served our celebratory shots at exactly the right time. It was an amazing experience and I would recommend them to anyone hosting an in home party. Everyone was kind and the chef even gave us recommendations on how to cut up our own cheese (to serve on their platters). Working with Coleen Donovan was simple and the evening was carefree!!
