Shelby Dorrell: We booked our wedding reception with Palladium Saint Louis, and their exclusive caterer is Butler's Pantry. The food they create is beautiful and delicious! They use unique flavors, they have seasonal menus, and they allow you a generous tasting to plan out the menu for your event. There were a variety of tiered options we could choose for our menu. We chose a menu that had three different passed hors d'oeuvre and a buffet with a salad, pasta, meat, a vegetable, and bread. If you so choose, you can have a sit down dinner. The staff was so great about making their way through the large venue space to pass out the appetizers during our cocktail hour to all of the guests. We received multiple compliments regarding the food at our wedding reception, and we could not agree more! There are many things you can stress and worry about on your wedding day, but food should not be one of them! Do yourself a favor, and book Butler's Pantry as your caterer!!

Billie Bright: Our 50th Wedding Anniversary was delightful and in a large part due to our catering from Butler’s Pantry. Every little detail was attended to. The food was fabulous and we received many compliments from our guests. What was most amazing was everyone came in an hour and a half before the party started to set up. By the time the party started, the entire kitchen was cleaned up, the table was beautiful and all our needs were met. We had ample food, ice and it was if they were around when we needed something and totally out of the way when we didn’t. The bar tender served our celebratory shots at exactly the right time. It was an amazing experience and I would recommend them to anyone hosting an in home party. Everyone was kind and the chef even gave us recommendations on how to cut up our own cheese (to serve on their platters). Working with Coleen Donovan was simple and the evening was carefree!!

Kelsey McGinnis: Wow what a spread! We absolutely loved the finished product that Erin and her team delivered. The style of SSS is wholly unique and beautiful. They put so much effort into the presentation of the food and incorporating personality and beauty into it, which was important to my husband and I. We were able to have a meeting at their (beautiful) offices and hand select certain styling pieces, tableware, and other accessories we wanted to be sure they would include on the big day. The food itself was incredible. They offer a group tasting with a few guests to be able to try many of their dishes which was such a special thing. Their brisket was to die for as well as their general attention to detail on local ingredients and unique combinations. They were very flexible and open with us on customizing our salad choice and desserts. Loved having them as our caterer.
Brooke Smith: Seed Sprout Spoon did a wonderful job at our 9/5/2021 wedding at Lost Hill Lake Events. The food was delicious; their staff was outstanding. They took the time to talk with us about our venue and what options would work best, along with what sounded good to us and the feel of our day. They also took care of all of our desserts, cake, yummy pre-ceremony drinks, and a late-night snack! So happy we went with them for our day.

They also but together s’mores kits for dessert and provided a beautiful cake that was super tasty. We loved how many unique food options they had to create the menu and the effort they put into presentation. I really appreciated how many local food producers they source ingredients from. They provided nicely printed menus, personalized tags for our desserts, and a funky cake stand. The servers at our wedding were great and very helpful.We really appreciated how easy Erin was to work with. We had to change our venue and downsize due to COVID. Erin was really helpful while we were trying to replan and deal with ever changing COVID guidelines and was so flexible with helping us replan our catering for what was essentially an entirely new event.

Games & Gains: Friendly service is the only reason I am giving this place a 2 star rating. The wait for my order was extremely long. Couple that with the fact that my food arrived as bland as one could imagine. I ordered the smoked trout hash and there was hardly any trout in sight. I also found a piece of lettuce stuck to my drinking glass. While I can see the appeal of this restaurant, I don't see myself visiting here again.

Devon Camp: We hired Erin and the staff at Seed Sprout Spoon to cater our wedding, and we could not have been happier with how things turned out. The food was incredible- multiple guests said that they had never had better chicken- and Erin was incredibly gracious about the special requests we had, even managing to create a couple vegan, gluten-free meals (for guests whose dietary restrictions we had gotten wrong) TWO days before our wedding. The bar service was flawless, and the "signature cocktail" that was created for us was delicious. Additionally, the decorations that Seed Sprout Spoon provided added so much to the ambience of the reception- the space felt elegant and formal, but simultaneously rustic and cozy.Lastly, Erin and the other staff who were on location during our wedding were just a joy to be around. They performed admirably in what I would think would be a very stressful environment for caterers- a small space with kids and multiple dogs- and were so friendly and wonderful while still managing to give us space for our intimate event. We will absolutely be hiring them again for any other events we have in Saint Louis!

We received several comments from guest and family that the food was the best they've had at a wedding and we couldn't agree more! It was all delicious! Then the staff working our wedding were so incredibly friendly but Erin really went above and beyond! She was so friendly and even was helping me adjust my dress for photos. She came and communicated with me and husband on multiple occasions to make sure we were taken care of and on the same page. I will HIGHLY recommend Hendri's to anyone.

Lyndee Rodamaker: I cannot thank the team at Hendri's enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect! They catered our wedding at Jefferson Underground in September 2022 about 150 people. They brought everything they needed and we didn't have to worry about anything in terms of food or set up. The food was amazing and we received so many compliments. The buffet set up was very professional and looked very pretty for photographs. The disposable plate option was a nice bamboo that looked much more sleek than a paper or plastic option and still allowed us to save a little on rental fees. We also got the mini desserts as part of our catering and they were perfect, so tasty and complimented our small cutting cake beautifully. I was very impressed with how everything turned out, and we had plenty of food. Dan was very accommodating and willing to work around our budget, and I honestly did not even worry about them throughout the day at all, which is exactly what you want as a bride! I would hire them again for catering services in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!
Robin Huellinghoff: Hendri's accommodated a small luncheon where I work yesterday for a friend who came back to work after a 6 month leave. Dan and Mara were quick to respond to all my questions. They were timely with bringing our food. I only wish I had taken pictures. The boxed lunches were simply adorable! The attention to detail given for such a small gathering was remarkable. The food has been unmatched to any other catering company we have used. Many thanks to Dan and Mara for truly making our luncheon a time to treasure.

Benjamin Klutenkamper: We booked Hendri's for our wedding on 9/12 at Neo on Locust, and to say they didn't disappoint would be an understatement. Dan and his team are remarkably professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and carry a seemingly lost sense of small business "caring" that almost doesn't feel real in today's world. They made things easy, the pricing came in very fair, and the product was far above what we expected for "wedding food". I was approached many times, by multiple guests after the wedding who shared our enthusiasm for the quality of the food, which included several friends who spent more than a decade in food service with me. If you are even considering Hendri's, please give them a call, and meet up with Dan for a consultation and tasting. these folks will treat you like family, and have you questioning why all small businesses don't operate like this anymore. 5 stars all the way. We will likely reach back out for any and all future catering events in the future. PS: we were undecided on the salad, and Dan told us to just let his wife "make it up on the spot based on what is fresh at the time". It was an amazing salad, and I was so happy we just let them run with it.

Dan & Maura were so easy to work with, they handled everything graciously, including multiple menu tweeks and last minute changes in the number of guests! The food was fantastic, with enough variety to accommodate every food need from gluten & dairy free, to vegan & meat eaters. Everything was presented beautifully, the food tasted great and wadcserved by a friendly, professional staff. Hendri's was the cornerstone of our event, I can't recommend them highly enough.
Anne G: Hendri's catered my wedding in October 2022 and did a wonderful job--Dan was very helpful and calming throughout the process and, the night of, Erin was fantastic at setup, serving, and making sure guests were attended to. I didn't have to worry about a thing as far as the food and that was great. All the guests made a point to tell me how good the food was and my only regret is I didn't eat soon enough in the evening to try every single thing (weddings, you guys). While I don't ever want to do something this complicated and stressful ever again, I will absolutely recommend (and already have) Hendri's for anyone looking to feed and please lots of guests.

Ashley Elliott: Hendri’s Events was absolutely the most amazing catering company for our wedding needs. The food was amazing. We got so many compliments, and people raved about the broccoli. Seriously, they made broccoli taste amazing. Who can do that? They had countless options for us to choose from. Dan and Erin helped me throughout the entire process. I had no idea how to plan a wedding and provide food for tons of people, and I honestly have very little time and energy to care. They completely took over and guided me through everything, educated me, laid out all of my options and let me make decisions from there. They also called me and checked in periodically, which really eased my mind and assured me that the catering side of things was taken care of.I’ll also add that they made me a ketogenic meal for my wedding containing the exact recipe that I gave them. Everything down to the brand of salad dressing and sugar free bacon was provided to me. This bride could not have been more happy and pleased on her wedding day! I highly recommend Hendri’s for any event planning needs.
NICOLE GARAVAGLIA: We had our wedding reception at Hendri’s in October and it was amazing! All of our guests gushed over how incredible the food was. I love the beautiful floor tiling. The venue has this really cool vibe - almost like a speak easy. The bar and archways are beautiful and have some cool history. Dan was wonderful to work with and very attentive to us throughout the planning process. Don't overlook this place because of the outside, the party is inside, and it’s perfect!

The food (from the cocktail hour of fine appetizers to the buffet dinner to the desserts) was amazing and the staff was absolutely the best. The staff attended to every detail and no task was too little or too big for them to handle. Also, I appreciated the various touch points throughout the night to ensure that all of my expectation were met. I heard from many guests that the food was delicious and plentiful. Simply put, Hendri's team were very organized and well coordinated. From the point of the first contact with the to all the many emails and telephone calls to the "day of" to organize and coordinate the event Hendri's delivered a flawless event. The team is professional and very responsive to meeting the needs and expectations of their customers I appreciated the attention to detail and their engagement, involvement, and frankly speaking sincere and genuine interest in ensuring the success of the event. They made it seem so effortless. Together, along with the professional bartenders, to the artists/performers to the Floral Jazz - florist (who by the way did an amazing job with the centerpieces). -- Hendri's staff attended to every detail and no task was too little or too big for them to handle. They're absolutely amazing!!
Madison Kowalski: There are not enough compliments I can give to express my gratitude and experience working with Dan and Mara. We booked with a venue that works with them. Out of all the options on the list, Hendri's is the only place to not only contact us and get to know us, they genuinely cared as well. They listened to our needs, didn't b.s. on pricing and kept everything transparent. Leading up to our wedding they helped us and the venue come up with the layout for the room, because we were bracing for a cold snowy day. As my stress level was rising, they never fluctuated, they were a solid foundation for us. My husband and I, both respectively work in the industry, so they knew they were in for a party. Boy did they show up. SO MANY of our friends and family raved about the food. Mara absolutely killed it. I had people telling me how disappointed they were in whoever they had booked with in the past because our menu was that phenomenal. Their bar and wait staff were the most hospitable and helped me right before the walk down the aisle ( makers mark in a champagne flute FTW ). So yes just book Hendri's. You will not regret this dynamic duo just crushing all the other catering companies out there in all areas. Thank you both so much for a perfect reception!
Amelia Preis: We hosted our wedding reception at Hendri's on Ridgewood. Their event space was warm and inviting. From the beautiful wallpaper, to the wood trim, to the fireplace, it was the perfect venue for our winter wedding. Dan and Mara were a delight to work with and always available to answer questions during the planning process. And the food--YUM! Our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed it. We don't think you can go wrong hosting an event with Hendri's.
K S: Hendri’s provided the catering and bar service for our wedding and we received so many compliments on the food. When I say that the food was delicious, I mean it. They allowed for several customizations and we had to specially request a few vegan meals which was not a problem for them at all. I wish I could have eaten more, but I was beyond full.
