Crystal Armstrong: Scheduled two private sessions on two different dates with a coach who's also the director. The first time in November 2021 the scheduling tool had a Grain Valley location listed as the practice site, which was a complete waste of drive time. When I contacted the coach about rescheduling or getting a refund, I never heard back from her. The second time in March 2022 had the right location, but the coach never showed up. I was so frustrated by the lack of communication and professionalism. I was told that parents who work with her know to call or text to confirm practice schedules. What about parents who are new to the organization? Not a priority. This may be a great club, but my interaction with the director had me me look somewhere else for my daughter.

Debra Kennedy: Elite will make room for anyone that tries out as long as they can pay the steep price. 2 hour practice twice a week for 5 months and there has been no improvement in the skills my kids being taught. It’s also closed practices so $2000 and you don’t get to watch what they work on ;)I strongly suggest you reaching out to your contacts and asking if anyone else has played for elite - after realizing I was not happy with my kids progress I asked around and another parent I know said they had the exact same concerns.Elite has only killed my daughters confidence not built it at all. I’m in a contract so I’m stuck but my money would’ve been much better spent on private lessons.

Barbara Schubert: Great for those who want to play outside of the regular school seasons, but without huge time or financial commitments required with select teams. Extremely reasonable in price. Schedules with times and locations are promptly distributed and notifications for any changes are distributed quickly. Can register as individual and put on a team or several to 'stay together' and play as a group. Coaches can vary in VB skills and knowing how to bond with teams, but overall, wonderful experience.

Nicholas Kessides: Coordinator is responsive and refs are reasonable and nice. It would be nice if we could play double headers.

Brian Schaffer: My 8th grader enjoys the Friday night volleyball leagues. The skill development, especially during weekly practices, is evident. Parking is always an issue at Centre St. Louis during game nights, but it is worth it.

Stephanie Stilinovic: Well this will be the last time I come here for draw tournaments. Big group of family came in town and we decided to come here to celebrate a birthday. We got here super early to save the many seats we would need. Eventually more people filtered in and we were screamed at over a megaphone that the seats we were in were "reserved" which there was no indication of. The reason for the "reservation"? "Oh we always sit here." The rudeness and audacity was off the charts. GO PLAY AT VFW where they are never rude. I can see why the owner lost his other locations.

R G: We had a work function here during the day, which was also my first time at Wave Taco. The open air patio and all of the sand reminded me of being at the beach. We had a simple taco bar which was tasty. We were definitely having a great time and Shannon really treated us well. She was very friendly and very hospitable. I would highly recommend this place for a corporate outing or just for fun in general.

Mark Brumleve: I try to go to a few Friday night draws every summer. It's always a blast. The bar service is amazing, drinks and food are cheap and pretty good, and the volleyball is a blast. The courts have great sand and everyone is just there for a fun, competitive time.
