Sydney Gibson: I keep going to this vet after many years due to the veterinary staff. Dr. Burrell and Dr. Windle are the best. They truly care about their patients and always remember us by name! On the other hand, I’ve struggled many times with their call center staff. On two separate occasions their call center indicated to the vet I wanted to euthanize my cat, which caused confusion for the entire office when I came in for a sick pet appointment. This is one of many communication issues I’ve had before. It seems they would benefit from some better leadership/training to address these issues. Nevertheless I’ll continue to come here as the vet’s make all the difference, I am just extra cautious when speaking with the call center to ensure my pet’s details are accurate.

Rivian Robinson: Our beloved Puppy boy had to cross the rainbow Bridge in early March. The staff were sooooo very sweet and sensitive to our needs. Such a sad occasion was made sweeter because they understood the grief and loss. He was cremated and returned to us in a beautiful urn, with a beautiful card and some fur. I can't put into words how meaningful this experience was. I'm forever grateful!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Miranda McKee: My dog was spayed here, they brought her out to me in the parking lot. She couldn't stand up and I noticed she was dripping blood. They rushed her back in because she was bleeding internally. The incision was lengthened and the bruising was severe. They made us take her home before she fully woke up because they were closing. Not a single person had it in their heart to stay with us until she was ready. The most terrifying experience I've ever had with a pet and I wills never bring an animal here again.

Annabelle Allons: Incredible. Absolutely incredible. We brought Phantom in with him needing immediate car and the staff acted fast. They grabbed him from my arms and got to work. When we got the news about his genetic disease and that he wouldn't be returning home with us, the Veternaian carefully walked us through what was wrong and the euthanasia process, they gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye and love on our baby for the moments we had with him. From there, they were kind and curdious. From the personalized card with seeds we can plant in honor of our cat, down to the beautiful box we received with his remains. They we've very understanding of our situation and made sure our baby was loved and cared for even after he crossed the rainbow bridge. We still have two 7 year old dogs that we confidently will be bringing to this amazing facility. Thank you all so much for the care your provided for my family. We are so happy to have him home where he belongs. If I could give them more then 5 stars I absolutely would!

Angela Wilson: When i had to say goodbye to my dog, i couldn't have asked for a better experience.When my husband and i got there, we were escorted to a room immediately.The room was dimly lit with soft, soothing music in the background. All kinds of snacks were laid out for her. Including chocolate! She had her first taste of chocolate!They also had bottles of water out for us. Soft comfy blankets for her to lay on. Grief support handouts were made available.Each step was explained in detail. They always made sure we knew what was going on.The staff was amazing. The veterinarian was amazing. The whole experience was, well, amazing.I will never go anywhere else.

They answered all my questions regarding the surgery and the pricing was incredibly fair and comprehensive. My dog was very nervous and vocal at the appointment and they took their time with him and made him feel as comfortable as they could. The vet tech and the vet also both gave me advice on other concerns I had about my pup regarding his seperation anxiety and I appreciated it so much! To top it off, when I called to pay the deposit and book the procedure, the person I spoke to was so kind, funny, and calmed my nerves about the procedure by telling me about their own tripaw’d pets. On customer service alone I would give 10 stars if I could!!

Amy K: This vet is incredible. We were from out of town, it was Christmas Eve, and our dog started experiencing hives and difficulty breathing. We found this vet on google maps based on proximity and we got so lucky. The entire staff was so friendly, compassionate, and efficient. Our dog ended up fine, but during such a horribly stressful experience they were life savers. We had our other two dogs with us and they graciously allowed those dogs inside as well. The vet was extremely methodical in explaining to us both the pricing and treatment he was recommending. KAH gets you in quickly, helps you over the phone, suggests home remedies for things that are not dyer, and much more! Adrienne Newcomer: I just want to say how great the staff and Dr. Shaw are. They diagnosed my cat with a pretty severe heart murmur and got us a referral to VSS. When we went to do a dental, Dr. Shaw went above and beyond to call us and recommended and refer us to a dental specialist instead because of her heart disease. They said they could try but felt her heart disease warranted someone who is more experienced with heart disease and anesthesia. They could have went ahead and done the dental and made money off it. But Dr. Shaw laid it out plain and simple and I am so grateful for that.

Amanda Rodewald: I clearly have been remiss in my duties as a Google Guide, but I could have sworn that I entered a glowing review for this pharmacy years ago, when we first started using their services. Up until six years ago, I had always used one of the nationwide chain pharmacies, because despite all their mistakes, roadblocks, rudeness and outright refusals to help I thought that's just how pharmacies worked, and at least they were open 24 hours.Fortunately, my wife comes from a small town and had always dealt with a locally owned pharmacy, so when she moved to St. Louis she quickly became frustrated with the unhelpful, impersonal and systematically demeaning treatment offered by the chains and begged me to try a locally-owned option. As transgender women, we both take HRT medications, which had amplified the mistreatment we'd experienced elsewhere, so I was thrilled when my first internet search turned up a pharmacy which is locally owned and operated by a military veteran based right here in South City. We immediately switched over all our prescriptions and we've never looked back.I've never been happier about changing a business which I frequent. The staff here is not only reliably friendly and helpful; they also know us personally, genuinely care about our well-being and frequently have gone above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that we get the medication we need when we need it. Their knowledgability about the necessary hoops required by insurance companies and doctor's offices have saved us hours, days, even months of frustration and anxiety on countless occasions, and their genuine concern for their patients means they will make customized compounds, educate you about the pros and cons of medications your doctor might recommend, and even fill prescriptions for your pet when necessary. They even offer free delivery, which we rarely use (preferring to leave that service more available for others who have more difficulty getting around) but has been a lifesaver on occasions when we found ourselves without transportation.If you've read my review this far and you're still hesitating to change your pharmacy for some reason, I'm not sure what else I could say to convince you... so I'll simply recommend that you move one prescription there so you can talk to the employees, experience the service they provide and compare to what you've been subjected to elsewhere. I'll bet dollars to donuts that you too will be a loyal customer in less than six months, and you can thank me then 😍

Bruce Fuller: We were stranded in STL during the great holiday weather/ airline meltdown and needed an emergency prescription filled. As it turned out my fianceés insurance wasn't Contracted with them So the prescription was eventually filled elsewhere but JOSH Went the extra mile and helped us!

Merna: Very compassionate and kind pharmacist. My husband had a covid test for travel with cvs and when he showed up for his appointment they turned him away because they didn’t have enough staff (with no warning or phone call). We called st louis hills pharmacy at about 12:30 pm and explained the situation and the pharmacist kindly agreed to see my husband past their open time. He stayed an hour past open to accommodate us and l was patient with our requests and really proved that great customer service still exists if you look in the right places. Highly recommend this pharmacy

Kevin Hacker (Khacker): This is a small pharmacy in South St.Louis that offers service to a heavy older demographic population and the staff is very courteous and helpful. My wife and I both made appointments for our Covid booster and there was no waiting and the pharmacist aide answered all our questions and concerns. I would recommend this little gem of a pharmacy if you are looking for a good reliable pharmacy.

Jimmy Conway: Fast friendly service with a true neighborhood feel to the place. It's small and they don't carry a lot as far as over the counter or shelf sale items, but at least they have a sofa machine just inside the front door.
