Kirsten Shaffer: We live out in the southern end of Jefferson County and our local used appliance store went out of business, so we decided to go to multiple in St.Louis. Of the multiple I went to, this was the store with the best prices, array of appliances, and cleanliness. The workers were extremely helpful and kind. They even changed the plug to a 4 prong for free and loaded our new dryer into the car. I look forward to doing business with them again.

Russell Hinman: Read this.Amazing service, above and beyond. I bought a refrigerator defrost timer from Ebay. As usual, the part wasn't right. Called this place Saturday morning. He was out of the part. BUT: He spent nearly a half hour helping me on the phone anyway! Looked up my fridge. Told me why the part wouldn't work. Told me what part to get. Walked me through how to troubleshoot the problem. Then, instead of trying to order the part, he got online and found a place near me that had the part I needed in stock. Never tried to to sell me on a service call either.I'm always looking for that tiny handful of good places for service. This one made the list today.

It was clean and running and came with a 90 day warranty.All the staff was very helpful, from the sales men, to the loaders, workers, etc.I would recommend this company for used appliances fast and reasonably priced.I did not get delivery; I picked it up myself.

Thomas Sommers: Walked in, met the owner. I had a washing machine I was trying to repair. He tested my capacitor, then we brought the two (!) motors I had to the basement where he had his repair man stop what he was doing, take apart a similar washing machine to what I had, and test both the motors showing them to be functional. He easily spent 1/2 hour with me trying to diagnose my washing machine problem. His repair man said it was the timer. The cost for that was over $100 on the website, so I decided to buy one of his used washing machines which he helped load into my van.This isn't a fancy place, and it's in a rougher than average neighborhood. I was unsure where to park since it's not obvious. But there were a ton of options of appliances (used, scratch and dent), and my washer came with a 90 day warranty.It's hard not to be impressed with someone who runs his business in this way. His efforts to help my diagnose my problem could have easily have cost him a sale. Instead I was happy to buy from him.

There was a wait for some of the appliances, but David kept me informed and was both accommodating and flexible with coordinating delivery and installation. We ran into a few typical problems because I was doing renovations. Throughout it all, David was fantastic. My appliances are now all in and I am thrilled. This was my first time shopping with Appliance Discounters and I am now a loyal fan.
Greg Schwarz: I purchased an LG refrigerator at Appliance Discounters in Maplewood in late September. Four weeks later the same refrigerator was on sale at Costco for $1000 less then I paid. I returned to the store to ask our sales person if there was anything they could do to help us considering the huge price difference, in just four weeks. I was met with a very quick no and as I continued to ask if there was simply anything they could do, I was continuously told no. No attempt or even consideration to help us at all!

Crstopher Russell: Definitely not one of my favorite locations to deliver to far as getting a truck into but it can be done. Get off at the Lowes exit going 55 south (turn right) the road past the Lowes turn LEFT follow to the dead end...turn LEFT. Consignee is on the left just past the bridge.

golfmen100: July 2022. Had a delivery with a 53" trailer. Was scared when I saw where is the delivery on the map, but at the end wasn't so bad. The road I used is I-55 south, then took the exit for Lowe's, took a right turn and drove the street next to Lowe's till I got to Koeln Ave. Bridge is ok. No signs of no trucks. When arrived, I used the parking lot to back in to the dock they have next to the building. Got unloaded in 2 hours. Got out same way!

Michelle McNicholas: Worst Customer Experience Ever!Ordered a GE dishwasher online back on December 12. After the order David called and said it would be in the store available December 22. December 22 came and no call from the store. I called and Karen said she wasnt expecting a delivery that day and would call me back. She never did. Called and was transferred to David. He was rude and said I told you when you ordered the dishwasher that the 22nd was an estimated day. The new date was now Jan 19. He said manufacturers always change dates and good luck finding it somewhere else sooner. Decided to go ahead and wait the extra time. Called Jan 19th and Karen said they dont have the dishwasher and dont know when it will be in. She said she would have David call. David never called. So called David. He was extremely rude said he never gave us exact dates and we can find another option. Said didnt want another option would go ahead an accept a refund. He said ok and hung up.

Jackie Ricker: I had an initial experience that was great. Tony was quick to sell me what he had. 2 weeks later I’ve been calling him for days and get no answer. I tipped him $50 & spent $600 on appliances. The washer leaks and a few of the settings don’t work. I get no response. But the phone is on him every time I see him. Should my concerns be addressed and the warranty stood behind- I’ll change my rating. Until then I have hundreds of dollars in fire proof work clothes that are ruined and I’m getting no response.
