Hezi: So yesterday my trailer went into my home shop for trailer ABS and annual DOT. My shop looked over the whole thing but couldn't figure out the ABS. I was let go no charge and was instructed to go to a trailer shop to have this resolved. Today I sent my driver to Midwest Systems Trailer Repair/River Roads Sales & Leasing. My driver was instructed to drop the trailer in the bay and wait in driver waiting room. An hour later I got as call from Rebecca letting me know the trailer will not pass DOT since (get this…)brake shoes are shot, all 4 drums are bad, 4 s cam has excessive play and trailer ABS computer needs to be replaced. I held back a giggle and asked for what I owe to this point. $75 for one hour I was told. I paid and told Rebecca I am taking my trailer to another Doctor for 2nd opinion.I sent my driver to Great Dane West of town at O'Fallon, MO. 2 Hrs later my trailer ABS light was gone and we had a fresh DOT. The shop found corroded sensors plugs, cleaned, grease, and we were good to go. Other than that, the trailer was in an impeccable state and pass DOT with flying colors. Upon hearing my experience with Midwest, Mat from Great Dane was shocked. I paid a little over $200 for this. If I would agree to Midwest list of bogus problems, I was looking at $4k in repairs.I don’t usually take time to write reviews like that unless I really think people should beware so BEWARE!!! I attached the invoice before and after to prove my point.

Truth Be Told: I would never recommend this company to anyone. This company is responsible for an invoice from a few months ago on behalf of one of their customers. The owner of the truck asked us to send an invoice to this company. We sent the invoice several times for weeks on end and called. We spoke to the "manager" who will has asked us to again send the email. We have sent it several times and called several times. The guy who claims he is the manager continues to say he will take care of it and hangs up the phone without doing anything. Then he ignores phone calls for a few weeks. Unprofessional - will be sent into collections.
