Ashley Nieto: I feel like our experience with STL Composting was a mixed bag. From the price, the service, to having it delivered, etc, everything was great. The employees were all very friendly and helpful.Unfortunately, the raised bed mix that we ordered 2 cubic yards of was of, what I feel is, questionable quality. While I won't fault them for all of the weed seeds and actual weeds growing in the mix (you can't really avoid that without commercially sterilizing the soil) the massive clumps of clay were a right pain is the bupkis to break up as there were A LOT. Still, even this didn't upset me, as I'm not afraid of work.We filled the beds by wheel barrow, which allowed us to get a view of what was in the mix. Large chunks of broken plastic, like plastic silverware and old hangers, and things like scraps of carpet were amongst some of the most common finds. But the worst was the hidden glass.

Scott Bailey: Huge thank you to Brentwood Material. We have a walkway around our courtyard in the back and I realized a bunch of bags of rock from a big box store wasn't going to cut it. I used their online calculator to determine what I thought I needed but when I followed up with George he gave me the best advice. I had them deliver 2 tons of rock and it was exactly what I needed. The delivery fee was more than reasonable and their prices for rock were so great I was able to upgrade to a better looking rock. Thanks Guys!!

After having a referral from a neighbor, I scheduled a delivery of 7 yards of topsoil last Wednesday for delivery today, Saturday at 5pm but no delivery arrived and no call from a driver or the company.Had plannned a full day of work with the soil tomorrow that will have to be rescheduled. Disappointed.

Lauren at the Chesterfield office goes out of her way on customer service, as well as Andy at the field. I really am supprised to see some of these reveiws, as we have and still do business with them and have never, never had a problem. They will even supply you with names of people to spread the mulch for you if you need it. Good product, good price, and great customer service FROM the CHESTERFIELD location!

C.E. Mitchell: I SENT THIS TO THEIR STAFFGreetings Sir,I’m contacting you because of an issue I’ve had today with a delivery to my parents residence whom are senior citizens. A delivery was made this morning at approximately 10:45am. The delivery driver didn’t follow instructions listed at the time of purchase, which was to call the given phone number when in route to make delivery. Furthermore, the driver destroyed some of my parents landscaping(See Attached). The driver failed to make any contact whatsoever with my parents that were expecting the delivery. Furthermore, the driver dropped the delivery load in the entrance of the driveway I’m a manner that blocked my fathers vehicle from exiting the driveway. There was a specific place on the driveway that the delivery needed to be made that would’ve been convenient, safe, and manageable by all parties. Same place where we’ve had deliveries of this kind for the last 3 decades. I insist that this matter be investigated and restitution made. Thank you for your time.Respectfully,Mitch
