A delivery was made this morning at approximately 10:45am. The delivery driver didn’t follow instructions listed at the time of purchase, which was to call the given phone number when in route to make delivery. Furthermore, the driver destroyed some of my parents landscaping(See Attached). The driver failed to make any contact whatsoever with my parents that were expecting the delivery. Furthermore, the driver dropped the delivery load in the entrance of the driveway I’m a manner that blocked my fathers vehicle from exiting the driveway. There was a specific place on the driveway that the delivery needed to be made that would’ve been convenient, safe, and manageable by all parties. Same place where we’ve had deliveries of this kind for the last 3 decades. I insist that this matter be investigated and restitution made. Thank you for your time.Respectfully,Mitch

Scott Bailey: Huge thank you to Brentwood Material. We have a walkway around our courtyard in the back and I realized a bunch of bags of rock from a big box store wasn't going to cut it. I used their online calculator to determine what I thought I needed but when I followed up with George he gave me the best advice. I had them deliver 2 tons of rock and it was exactly what I needed. The delivery fee was more than reasonable and their prices for rock were so great I was able to upgrade to a better looking rock. Thanks Guys!!

craig nunnally: Great Prices! St. Louis Composting has to be the best value for the DIYer. Just bring your truck, go in and tell them what you want, pay, and drive up to wherever they direct you. Then, someone (who has to have the best job in the world) will scoop up what you have ordered and dump it in the bed of the truck. They also have most everything they offer in bags too.

Geo DeGroot: The people at the Belleville facility are absolutely friendly, splendid, and caring...from the front office, to the loaders, to the drivers, to the managers, to the horticultural rocket scientists. My every experience has been a pleasure at this facility. I cannot say the same about the website order person in St. Louis. The gal on internet orders in St. Louis could give two-squirts, nor can she get an order out on time or correctly. My recommendation is to direct all orders to the real salt-of-the-Earth folks in Belleville, who get it right EVERY time. See below a black elderberry mother propagation bush fed with St. Louis Composting "Black Gold"...this schtuff is amazing!

William Shirley (Bill): As our gardens have expanded, we have relied increasingly on St. Louis Composting. They have a variety of mulches available in whatever quantity you need / want. St. Louis Composting personnel are courteous and friendly. They deliver. Their truck drivers are skilled such that they can drop a dump truck on a specific spot on the driveway (no guarantee, of course) such that very little goes off the driveway. Highly recommended.
