Cine Services Inc: what do users think?
Lou Ritter: By far the best theatre supplier in STL! Amazing customer service who is willing to do anything to make your order easier including same day in person delivery. Will always use Cine!
Travis Good: Mike and Tyler knew their stuff and helped me out with all my questions!
kevin roe: Tyler is always great
Brandon Krepel: This shop is cool for theatrical, lighting and some photographic supplies. I had a light I needed to convert from 6500K (daylight) to match tungsten and they sold me the exact gel I needed. I was also able to pick up a safety cable for the light while I was there too!

Music for Pleasure: what do users think?
Gretchen Arnold: I recently moved to a new home and wanted to upgrade my music system. Dwayne came out to assess my needs (and recommended I keep some components that were adequate), communicated with my contractor, and made multiple trips to hook everything up. He was knowledgeable, professional, and the cost was very reasonable. I could not be happier with the results!
Rishi Gattu: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Music for Pleasure in search of the perfect sound system for my home. As someone who recently experienced the magic of high-quality audio, I was eager to recreate that immersive experience in my own living space. Instead of relying solely on online research, I wanted to hear the speakers in person, and I couldn't have chosen a better place to do so.Upon entering the store, I was instantly impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the wide selection of premium audio equipment. The staff's professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness were music to my ears, making me feel confident that I was in the right place.I had the privilege of working with Eric, an incredibly knowledgeable and honest audio expert who took the time to understand my needs and preferences. He showed me a variety of options that fit within my budget, and never tried to upsell me or pressure me into making a hasty decision. Instead, he advised me to gather more information about my intended location for the sound system, ensuring that I would make the best possible choice for my unique situation. It's rare to find such a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction, and I truly appreciated Eric's honest approach. His expertise not only provided me with a wealth of knowledge, but also left me eager to return and complete my home audio journey. In conclusion, my visit to Music for Pleasure was nothing short of spectacular. From the outstanding service to the extensive range of high-quality products, this store is truly an audiophile's paradise. I look forward to returning soon and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking to elevate their home audio experience.
James Jones: Great folks very helpful! Good selections.
Michael Tanner: Truly passionate about stereo and cinema, visiting here is a real joy.
Eric Farson: This is an absolutely fantastic place. They have a ton of great gear and being a long time audiophile, I was ecstatic to see it all in a brick and mortar store. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They gave me a tour of the place and I really appreciated it. I will definitely be using them for my future audio purchases.
John Markley: Came to visit during a trip to STL since I have no access to true high end brick and mortar stores in my home in Missouri. I met two very knowledgeable representatives, Rob and Eric. Both took a lot of time to answer many questions I had regarding home theater and dedicated 2 channel. The big Boulder room was very nicely setup and demonstrated the equipment well. They have multiple rooms designed to showcase setups small to large and across all budgets. Spent about 2 hours there altogether with no pressure but a lot of great information. Nice oasis where music and sound reproduction takes precedent. Both gentlemen were approachable and affable. Ended up purchasing a Rel sub for the center channel in one of my rigs. I will almost certainly give them more business in the future. Easy to recommend.
Brian Harrell: Great audiophile products for all price points. Service was great!
Grant Larsen: Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Impressive systems to listen to. Took my college acoustics class here and it was a very educational and enjoyable experience learning from the staff and experiencing their sound rooms and demos. Thanks Music for Pleasure!
Craig Morris: Classy. Very knowledgeable. Friendly. Don't talk down to us electronic illiterate.
David Kley: The only place to go if you are looking for audiophile gear in St Louis. Wonderful staff, amazing gear. Fair pricing for the incredible quality you are getting. You can tell they are enthusiastic about what they do.
Craig Kaminer: I have been a customer of Music for Pleasure since the 90's. Surprisingly, many of the same crew works here still and always know my equipment, how it was installed and why something may need updating. Recently, my Bluesound Node2 stopped working. I brought it in and they swapped it out. No hassles, no returning it to the manufacturer... they just swapped it out and everything is working again perfectly. They are really the only hifi and high end surround sound shop in St. Louis. Chicago has one too, but I think MFP is the best. If you are looking for a hifi shop with people who know their stuff and are extremely passionate, then you have found the right place.
John M: I was excited to visit on my day off because i had never been here before and wanted to see and hear what they had to offer. I was looking to upgrade some of my current gear. I was hoping to find education and guidance. I don't waste money on expensive cars or clothes, but i waste plenty on stereo equipment. I drove a 85 Cougar, wore bluejeans and a T-shirt. because of that, i believe the sales guys made some presumptions about me and were not willing to help me. The entire time i was there i felt as if they just wanted me to leave. I drove a long way to get there. I came prepared and brought my favorite orchestrated music CD. After getting permission, I sat down in a room and put in my CD. the sales person went into the next room over and turned up the volume up, I was unable to listen for the details i was wanting to hear. I would ask a question about the room acoustics or sound i was hearing to try and compare it to what i would hear in my own home, and they would become defensive as if they were prepared for a huge argument. They dodged all my questions by telling me things like i was not there for the original recording of the song, so i cant possibly know what it is supposed to sound like, So i cant possibly know if it sounds good or bad. Basically being extremely defensive and unwilling to help. So i would ask what they recommend for me and that didn't get me anywhere either, after asking enough questions it became apparent to me that these guys just wanted me to leave. After having a conversation with two of the guys there i feel as if they know nothing about sales. What they should be doing is questioning their customers, Inquire about their current setup to determine what gear could be upgraded. Ask them about their music tastes to determine what sound they are looking for. And ask them about their budget to determine what products you should be showing them. Don't just shoo people away, It's bad business. Sure if they are looking for a soundbar point them elsewhere. But you should find out how deep their pockets go or what they are willing to spend before you walk away. That is basic salesmanship. I might visit again sometime in the future, hopefully your sales team is more professional by then.
Dennis McDonald: These guys are great. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. There is no push to force you into buying anything, so I will sometimes just stop by to ask questions and find out about new products. They are always willing to help.
Christian Schneider: I was looking for a replacement for my 30-year-old equipment without having to spend the equivalent of a used car. Rob made a number of great suggestions that were exactly tailored to my needs. I also appreciated his prompt replies to my questions (via phone or email). When I had difficulties to get my new gear running, he knew immediately what the problem was and fixed it. Very good experience, highly recommended!
G Livingston: The staff at Music for Pleasure is top notch! Dwayne & Eric and Rob are really dialed in to knowing how to fill your listening needs offering numerous alternatives to fit within you budget and genre desires. It is easy to turn on some music and say, "What do you think?" and that is what you get at Big Blue, but not here. These guys take it to the next level and customize solutions and educate you on things in the process. I have learned more from an equipment state point of view in the last three months than I have in a lifetime regarding quality equipment and points of differentiation to help in the decision process. I am a musician and have a fairly good ear, but these guys have played music for me on very obtainable systems financially and I am hearing things that I have not ever experienced before. I have played tracks on their equipment that you can not tell if it is a recording or live drums and cymbals as I own some of the gear on the tracks played. You don't know what you have been missing until you go into a quality shop like this and spend some time with Dwayne and Eric and Rob. The are knowledgeable, ethical and good guys to deal with. They also will come to your home and get everything calibrated to maximize your experience with the equipment. I'm glad I found these guys!
Steve Matthews: I've already expressed how impressed with the sound and service I have received. Last night, after 13 hours of seeing patients, I just wanted to come home and listen to music. My receiver bonked out. I did not expect a reply but I texted Dwayne anyway. He replied!. We tried trouble shooting my sound system at 8:30 at night! Above and beyond. What can I say but Thank you!Steve
gangiraffe 123: We went here and had a really nice experience. Staff is super friendly and there’s a really homey atmosphere. We bought some speakers (kind of expensive) but they were super high quality. 10/10 would recommend it.
Karen: A quality operation. High quality electronics.
Stephanie Wilder: The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this place for your stereophylle.
Robert Rinkenberger: Best customer service in all of STL. Rob was truly insightful. No matter what your budget or objective they truly want you to have the best experience possible.
Richard Poynter: Great service and equipment. Guys were all very helpful and had smart and prudent suggestions on equipment. Went the extra mile on the install too!

Production Support Services, Inc.: what do users think?
C: I've been doing business with PSS for 3 years now and they have been consistent with the quality of equipment and the cost is very reasonable. This is my go to shop for any audio I need. Thanks to the entire team.......
Mindy Park: Their lighting technician Dan is experienced and well-versed when it comes to creating the perfect visual ambience for theatre lighting. He was able to make improvisations on-the-spot to add extra effects and overall enhance the production level of the show for the audience!
Jim C: A great production house.Their rates are on par for around town, and they are always willing to help. As far as dry rentals go ; I love picking up gear here because you know it will always contain all parts, and be packaged properly to arrive at the job site.
Apoorva Pandey: We rented audio equipment for a band performance, and stage lighting. The equipment quality was good and the prices were reasonable. When we picked out order up, the staff walked us through the set up steps. Would've been perfect if their delivery fee was not so high.

Alobar's Lighting and Sound: what do users think?
Ms S Jimerson: Alobars Lighting and Sound was an extremely essential piece to the puzzle with assisting my now husband and I in what turned out to be a beautiful wedding at the Missouri History Museum! The lighting was absolutely stunning! Diane, the President of the company was a complete pleasure to work with! I appreciate her professionalism and highly recommend their services! Thank you a million times over for everything!
ofure Imumolen: Best customer service, great equipment. Very patient and they have knowledge of their products. Highly recommend
Analise Donovan: Diane at AloBars was beyond helpful in securing the proper sound equipment we needed for our wedding reception. She was kind and listened to exactly what we needed and gave the most fair price around. Highly recommend.
Shawnacy Evans-Singh: The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I've been trying to get help with lighting and drapery for my wedding since April and it's now September. Trying to communicate with someone to book these services for an event shouldn't be this complicated. The constant beating-around-the -bush with constant delays is extremely unprofessional.
Austin Brooks: This place is seriously amazing, and the customer service is even better than that. I don't know the first thing about DJ lights but recently needed to buy one for a party. Dianne was extremely knowledgeable about the inventory, but also so helpful in answering all my questions. She also spent the time to demonstrate several products so I could make sure I was buying exactly what I wanted. They also sell a ton of other DJ equipment as well. If you're in the market for anything DJ related, stop wasting your time at Guitar Center and go check this place out.
Alvin Cortner: Great place
Ray Villasenor: These guys are great! Small enough to care and big enough to get the job done right. A knowledgeable staff that goes out of their way to be sure their customers always get the right gear for a job or event.
Tyler Neyens: Great small business, friendly staff, and great customer service. Go with them!
Corey Inskip: Helpful staff, rental equipment was in good shape
Mitch Madry: Great service and extremely knowledgeable!
Sam Sanders: A total source of lighting for all needs.
T C (Miko1): Reasonably priced. What I had originally called for was unavailable, but she took the time to see what else they had that would work for my needs. She called me back in a reasonable amount of time with something that actually worked out better for us. Thank you. You saved the day. Will definitely refer to others and use in the future.
Big Bow Events: The team at Alobar's are without a doubt our go to guys for great service, superior products and fair pricing. They really have great hearts and go above and beyond to help their clients. We are truly confident that when we recommend them, they will come through with flying colors! Most sincerely,Nikki K.Big Bow Events, LLC
