Christina Moss: They care about your well being. This place is certainly not one of the big box, franchise massage locations. The are very dedicated to their craft and because of that they take extra care to make sure they cater to individual needs.
Hanna Heltzel: Poor ownership. I’ve tried for almost 2 years to either get a refund or redeem 2 massages I purchased gift certificates for and stored at the business in my paper file, an option that was offered to me by their own staff member. The paper file has apparently been destroyed and now the owner has implied that I am a liar and I am out over $200 after trying to support a small local business. If you go here, make sure you document every little detail so you too, aren’t made out to be a dishonest patron.Edit 6/8 in response to the business response; We are discussing it publicly as you decided not to respond to my last email still attempting to resolve this after 2 years. If my paper file is still there, then why have the gift certificates vanished? It is at no fault of my own that the staff member is no longer there and that the certificates somehow vanished from your own business's paper files. I sent you dated confirmation with the staff member in question of the purchase.All I want is to use the over $200 of my hard earned money I spent with your business. I don't think that's asking too much. I think it's the bare minimum actually.
Quentin Hendricks: Ashiatsu massage is so different, and dare I say better than a normal Swedish massage. Highly recommend Vanessa if you need a quality massage to help those muscles relax.

Steven Earhart: The 60 minute Barefoot Massage was the best massage I've ever had - the location is a little hard to navigate, so just show up a couple minutes earlier than you normally would for your first visit; I parked behind the building and found an elevator in the middle of the 'parking lot' and took it to the 2nd floor and had no problem from there.
Drew Mattson: This place is AMAZING! I went there today for a 90 minute massage. It was my first time visiting this awesome place. I have nothing but good things to say. The amount of pressure and precision of it was unremarkable. I have had plenty of massages over the years and have never experienced so amazing. I will now never go anywhere else.

Jake Simon: I love the ashiatsu massages I get at Sole Shine - perhaps the best I’ve gotten - and I was a massage therapist and instructor for years.Each therapist has a slightly different style and personality, so though you can plan to get a great massage from each, you may find one that suits your needs or personality best.I have also done a Thai yoga session in attempts to gain some flexibility, but it would take multiple sessions for that to happen with me. David Ebertz: The best part about Sole Shine, besides the phenomenal massage, is the people and atmosphere within the company. A free and open environment is felt within the building and is reciprocated by the therapists and owners. It is hard to feel stressed at all when you walk into the place. They do a great job of creating a welcoming and soothing environment. Okay, now that aside, their therapists easily give some of the best massages I have ever had. The amazing versatility that is provided in their technique cannot be duplicated with mere hands. They even utilize their hands at times with their feet! I originally tried a 15 min sample of the ashiatsu massage on a whim, but now I solely (pun intended) receive my massage from sole shine because of the benefits of ashiatsu. If you have always been curious about, “whats that weird massage where people walk on you?”, then I highly recommend giving Sole Shine a try and you will see the amazing feeling of this “weird” massage.

Molly Smith: My husband and I had a couples massage while we were here for the weekend. It was his first one, but I've had several before. I cannot say enough good things of how wonderful the entire experience was. The place was soothing, smelled good and was very clean. It's in an older building and has no sign out front, but don't judge a book by its cover. This was one of the best massages I've ever had. He truly took his time to ensure you were comfortable, attentive to pressure points, and checked on you throughout. He was also such a kind person. Thank you so much. We will 100% be back when we come back to town.

I judge a massage by how I feel, the fact she is certified, her professionalism, and by not being dehydrated before the massage but being very thirsty after. This is caused by a great massage removing lactic acid from the mussels. This was the first massage I've had ever where I became thirsty DURING the massage. She could not have done a better 90 minute deep tissue massage!

There is no sign in the front, but don't let that dissuade you at ALL. The staff was very pleasant and the atmosphere comfortable immediately upon entering. They were watching for me and immediately welcomed me as I went up the steps. I enjoyed the soft music being played that was different than nature sounds that other places use. The massage was relaxing, and giant tension areas in my upper back were worked out while I was checked on periodically to make sure the pressure was acceptable. Merna: Andy is a phenomenal massage therapist. He truly is a therapist and is passionate about helping you feel better. He is very gentle and professional when maneuvering you but can really apply firm pressure when needed and desired. He is very knowledgeable and understands muscle anatomy and physiology and applies it to address your specific concerns. He doesn’t just do a cookie cutter massage and caters to your needs. I have never been able to find a massage therapist that was worth a second visit, but I can’t imagine going anywhere else now.

Wendy Weight: Danni is a 5-star massage therapist! She met me in the small apartment space where I was staying as a guest and managed to create a soothing atmosphere in the middle of chaos. She’s an excellent listener and communicator – taking the time to ask thoughtful questions both before starting. I was particularly stressed and knotted in several places but by the time she was done with me, I felt like new! She worked on tough tension spots and melted them into butter with her magical, soothing hands (which manage to be amazingly gentle and phenomenally strong at the same time). I highly recommend her and plan to hire her whenever I’m in town.

Yoga for Beginners on Sunday mornings with Danni, has become a vital part of my weekend routine. Restorative Yoga with Bridget on Monday evenings is another great class, Bridget has amazing energy! Strength + Balance with Danni on Thursday evenings is a great core workout. I also received a great massage from Tonica, and looking forward to trying out some of the other services that are offered. This studio is a total gem in the Shaw Neighborhood!

I’ve also taken 2 of Jessica’s Yoga Nidra workshops, which have been a great way to relax and take some time for myself. Highly recommend both and glad to have this yoga studio in the neighborhood.
Jessica Caimi: I received an amazing massage from Tonica! She has a very kind energy and created such a safe, comforting experience from the very start. Her bodywork style is very intuitive and I felt like she both listened to what I wanted and tuned in to offer work I didn't even know I needed. She added so many thoughtful touches with essential oils, heated pillows, and beautiful music to make the experience even better. I would highly reccomend booking with her!
Becky Shampay: Align is a wonderful place, I’m so glad I found them a few months ago. Everyone there is so nice and friendly and the space is really warm and welcoming. My favorite classes by far is Anna Mae’s Qi Flow class on Mondays (mix of Qigong and Yoga) and Kim’s Hip & Low Back Restoration flow on Thursdays. Both incredible teachers, I couldn’t recommend them more!! 💛
