Nathanael Herbert: If you can get there, it’s pretty nice! Relatively sanding bottom. It’s the Meramac River, so the water is a little dirty. Still nice enough to get out in the water to cool off and relax before continuing your trip.
Ali: A very nice beach close to George Winter Park and Meramec River, mostly people get there with boats through Meramec river but there is an access through Allen Rd for cars and ATVs, a good place for relaxing, swimming and fishing, and overnight camping,

Randy Hartmann: I've been coming here since I was a kid and there's always something to do. The trails are lovely, and there's many to choose from. This park can get pretty busy with people, kids, bikes, and more, so it's not the most quite park. It's very dog friendly (though I'd leave the reactive dogs at home unless you come during the day on a week day).

Nikky: Had a pleasant experience visiting this late especially during fall. It was very beautiful place to hangout with friends, family or to spend time alone for peace. This place also has path for jogging, cycling as well and very good for parents with kids to play mini outdoor games.

Ronald Winker: Folks have been coming to the Lake from years pass by the tollie as in Meet Me in St Louis. Weddings, picnics, fishing, hiking, cook outs, cruising, biking, floating or just lying on the sand for generations. Still a romantic place and worth visiting. R Cusick: Beautiful, if murky. Needs to be filtered more often or more thoroughly. Watched a great egret there for nearly an hour on my last visit. Close to the playground, nice place to watch ducks or folks fishing, pavilion nearby.
