Devil Dairy: Im not new to testosterone, and this isnt my first Planned Parenthood. But this building is so much better than any of the Kansas City locations! Every employee was so kind and made me feel safe and understood. They even gave me free syringes and a bin to safely dispose them in. They even offered to teach me how to use the testosterone. Since ive been on it for 2 years now, i didnt need the help. But it was nice to have been offered. When i first started out, no one showed me and i had to look up youtube tutorials to figure it out lol.But if youre new to horomone therapy i highly recommend this location! They were all incredible!

PP provides the education and prevention tools that many parents fail to. They do more to prevent unplanned pregnancies than any other organization, PP is a vital resource for the state of Missouri.

When i went in the lady at the front desk gave me the wrong Price for my shot and Also wrote down i had herpes (Which is not at all true). I corrected her and told her i didnt have herpes and she crossed it out. When i went in the back the doctor asked "what are u here for?" i responded "My Depo shot only" she Looked at me shocked and said the lady at the front desk wrote on my paper for them to treat me for herpes. I corrected them again and the doctor got me my right Price and Gave me just my shot. They were at first going to charge me $160 . When they changed the price it was under $65 . My Tip is to ask questions and Pay attention to what they write down. This could of been a nightmare when all i needed was my birth control

I used them for bc services and they even let me switch my prescription over the phone when I changed my mind a week later. Of course it is very busy at this location, so it may take awhile for you to get into your appointment/be seen. I highly recommend booking online.

Gage Curry: Went in to get some tests done for the first time, was told without insurance that it would be 78$ so i paid it. Then when it came time to get the results, they sent me another 364$ bill from quest diagnostics. I called this Planned Parenthood back to ask why and i was met with some a negative attitude on the other side of the phone. Whoever worked that day are some liars.

X Man: The staff is incredibly helpful and did not discriminate in anyway. You'll feel safe and welcomed with any questions you'd have answered for the most part. They do take walk ins but I'd HIGHLY suggest you make an appointment right away to get the best time for you and maybe even the earliest.

shelby rosi: Update: So I had my hysterectomy surgery yesterday and I couldn't be happier. All other doctors would not listen to me when I told them I was in serious pain and I knew the endometriosis came back and sure enough I was right it did come back but thanks to Planned Parenthood and Dr.Baum I will no longer be in pain., I want to note that this location is open Monday through Saturday and not just Wednesday, someone had changed there hours and there trying to get it fixed. The moment me and my mom arrived the receptionist was friendly, we only waited in the waiting room for 15-20min and I was taken back to a room and after 5min the surgeon came in to discuss with me getting a hysterectomy and everything went smoothly. The surgeon was friendly and had answers to all my questions. All in all it was a smooth, easy visit and I'm very happy I went here. Once I have my surgery I will be updating my review. I have been to this planned parenthood before and both other times I've been here they have been friendly and professional.

Thane Salander: Was supposed to get a vasectomy, waited 8 weeks from the time the appointment was made, made it to the facility on time, less than an hour before my appointment. 5 minutes before I got to the facility they called and told me my appointment had to be rescheduled another 9 weeks in the future. Went into the lobby to verify in person the rescheduling, a full 15 minutes in an empty lobby before anyone even came out and noticed I was there. Unprofessional and unreliable.

Carly: Thé nurses here have been more attentive and caring towards my health concerns than any other medical facility I have been to. They are so warm and genuine, which is hard to find these days.

I took my teenage daughters there to discuss and get birth control. The older lady medical assistant was a bit rude. Birth control can be a touchy topic between mother and daughter and her compassion was completely nonexistent. Our experience would’ve been better if they had more compassionate staffs members when dealing with sensitive issues.

I have gone for various services over the years and have been met with nothing but kindness and professionalism every time I've been. They've never been pushy and very open to answering questions that you may have.The only downside is the protestors that are sometimes out front. I wish they would be as passionate about actual kids in stl that live in poverty instead of taking away women's reproductive rights. Instead, they continuously choose to support candidates that want to cut family social security nets and shame women whenever they have a chance.

The white secretary, (excuse me for using that description but i didnt get her name in which i should have) violated HIPPA law & discriminated me against services. First when i got she asked for my insurance card then started speaking loudly about my insurance plan like i had a fake card & the guy next to her told her not to worry just get me checked in for my services. Then after she called me up to the desk asking me personal questions that they are supposed to ask in the back, like when was your last testing service and what was your results. So after I told her(while feeling uncomfortable talking about these things in lobby/waiting area where other people are present and can hear) she tells me well, its not suggested you take another test/screening this soon but if you want us to do something else we can. That overall experience was not comfortable, I don’t think she should be in the health field and she representing this company in a bad way/ a lawsuit waiting to happened.

FOR MY HEALTH, after being careful with my ONE partner, I went there to confirm our happy pregnancy with my beautiful baby girl. I thank God for the women at PP who made this possible for me. Y’all are heroes.

I needed to figure out what birth control was best for my lifestyle and the nurse and nurse practitioner took time to answer every question and work through every concern with me. The receptionist helped figure out kinks in my insurance and was just incredibly helpful. The guard was so calm and helped me get to the right place. The patient care here is incredible.

I drove all the way down there at 4pm to discover that they had "closed early" even when I had called earlier that day and the secretary on the phone had confirmed that they were open until 5pm.Today is Monday... good thing I called first. IZZY B: Went to go get routine testing on a Wed was told Id get a call w results by the following Friday and that if I didn’t answer a vm would be left… well its now Monday still no results. When I call the line goes to vm & I do not have another lunch to waste calling them. So I called a diff Department trying to get my results and that god awful lady was rude as hell and all she said was “did you leave a message they're busy with patients” like yes lady i left a vm! If you can’t provide results in the time frame YOU GAVE ME you should set different expectations definitely will no longer go here! Too much of a hassle! Having to hound you for results i was told would be ready! Absolutely pitiful

I used to tell my subordinate managers: "A good manager can run a great shift... but a great manager is one who pulls it together when things are not good." Amidst circumstances out of this pharmacy's control, Erica, Deja, and the rest went FAR ABOVE and BEYOND what most pharmacies would do, to see a systematic problem corrected, and the patient supplied correctly and timely. Some of the low-scoring reviews I see here for them are silly up against the proven VALUE of this pharmacy in a dire moment (and this doesn't even take into account their CHEAP co-pay). TEAM at VIVENT PHARMACY - You are SO GREATLY APPRECIATED for your sense of duty when the hour grows dire!!! No words exist to honestly show the depth of my gratitude for you, nor how insanely impressive you all are in a moment of need. STELLAR WORK!!! MAGNIFIQUE!!! BRAVO!!!! Bretton DeLaria: I have been with Dr. William Summers since 2009 and followed him when he left Southampton and opened his own practice and then followed him to Vivent Health when he became the medical director. I have had nothing but positive experiences since moving my health services here. Dr. Summers continues to push the medical staff to adopt his philosophy of patient center care. When I arrive the staff knows me by name, takes an interest in my life, and is extremely kind and timely. When I’ve been seen by Dr. Summers, Sarah, or any of the NPs they are of the utmost professionalism and take time when seeing you. I’ve been to many doctors whom I am just a patient. At Vivent, the staff listen, take time to develop relationships, and are present during your time with them. A huge benefit of Vivent is the one stop shop philosophy. I love that I can get medical treatment, pharmacy (again pharmacist knows me and has a relationship), dentist, and case management all in one place. The coordination of services under one roof makes communication effective and ensures a comprehensive plan for all aspects of life. Vivent is growing to add legal help, therapy, and psychiatry in the near future furthering their mission of person center central integrated healthcare. I HIGHLY recommend them for your health needs. They are a major ally of the LGBT community and effective in combating the STI and HIV crisis in St. Louis. Finally, Vivent truly is a community partner. Their food pantry, Paws Program, and philanthropic wing works tirelessly nonstop to ensure community needs are met. If you want excellent personal healthcare that is committed and vibrant to modern day issues...you won’t find a better provider than Vivent.

Patrick Goodson: I was referred to EFA (from Project ARK) as I was a low maintenance patient who did not use case management services very much. I asked for resource help two times in a two year period and the case worker told me that I could not longer use their services as I was too high maintenance. My Project ARK case worker noticed my name in the queue after EFA dropped me and she re-assigned me back to her and said she could not understand EFA's actions.

Dominique McNeely: I would ONLY suggest going here if you don’t have insurance and if you’re having symptoms, I wouldn’t recommend STL EFA at all. It was me and two other people that signed in as a walk in, but only one person waiting in front of me in the lobby where I sat for 1.5 hours before I was seen. Fast forward the only rapid test they provide is hiv. The phlebotomist informed me it would take 10-14 business days (half a month) to receive my any other blood work results. That’s unheard of....at least to me. The only reason I gave two stars was because their new office is beautiful.

All of their services are free and the ladies there are so kind, accommodating, and understanding. They focus on the WHOLE being of the woman and make finding resources a seamless process. (We’ve all had horrible experiences I’m sure that stand out, but today stood out in the best of ways) The phlebotomist was so good I would have trusted her to draw my blood blind folded lol The nurses were great too. And I can’t speak highly enough about the NP that saw me. She went above and beyond taking care of me and I’m truly so grateful. She was so easy to talk to and be honest with and I never once felt like she looked down on me. I appreciated all her knowledge and advice and wish I could have her as my PCP! All in all I was really impressed and so grateful for the amazing care I received.

Delilah Wylde: This was great when I was in highschool and didn't have to put my own roof over my head.Now it's virtually inaccessible with it's removal of drop in services and 9-5 office hours with same day appointment setting that is not respectful of people's time. Location is not optimal for at risk or high risk marginalized groups.Gone are the days you could convince your friends or partners to go with you to get tested together on a whim. Now it's just a lot of reluctance unless you can fork over some dough to a for profit testing center.Gonna be really hard to control public health if this is the direction free/low-cost services are going. With some basic application of behavioral economics/psychology, adding more than three steps to get something done that is already stigmatized or uncomfortable is like asking not to be utilized.
