Ulysses Smith: This place is full of incompetent people. I came in for a drive away permit and the lady literally said I needed the car registered in my name first. Like if you just think about that for two seconds that means I wouldn’t need the permit! People are really letting brainless individuals work in government facilities and have the nerve to argue with you. Thank god the manager at least fixed the situation but I would’ve wasted thousands of dollars depending on those idiots. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Tonia Townsend Maloney: This is the only DMV I go to anymore. Everyone that works there (including security) is friendly and helpful. Their procedures for getting people in and out are effective and they always strive to make things better. I would recommend this facility to anyone in the area who needs the services of a DMV. It’s clean, efficient and a friendly atmosphere with wait times that are minimal.

Definitely need to work on better customer service and informing people that the waits are one and a half to 2 hours possibly longer, I don't know at that point I left. I will never visit this facility again ever. I'll stick to Belleville.

M K: If I could give a negative score I would. Waited outside for over an hour to be seen. The clock hits 4:42, so I go in to make sure I can be seen the lady says she’s making call backs now. She calls me back within a minute and tells me I can’t be seen today. I spent almost 2 hours waiting just to get nothing accomplished. Definitely needs better and more empathetic workers.

The place had one person being helped and the other employees weren't doinganything. I was also told to go to the other facilities for same day service.... ridiculous!

Mandy G: I went to this location at 4:40 pm on Tuesday 5/17 to register my car. The lady that sits at the door told me that I had to come back tomorrow. She said that they close the door at 5:15 pm. I looked at my watch and told her that it was 35 mins until. All she said was that I could go to the Granite City location. I asked her if they stop taking people 35 minutes before as well. She said, No. They close there doors at 5:30. I said that I don’t want to drive there and they close early too. The Granite City experience was awesome. They need to teach this location a few things. They close their doors at the appropriate time.

Joseph Watt: Went to the facility 3/26/22The lady worked in the lobby was very rude. And told me their are other facilities. She took my name and number and told me to wait in my car. I left and went to Granite city and got waited on and my phone still hasn't been called in East.st.louis. I will never go back to that facility.

Tanisha Cook: Very Ghetto, staff very loud when trying to take any test on the computers that is sitting right at the door you are distracted by all the noise that the DMV worker and the security guard is making. Then when asked to close the door they act like they don’t hear you. Staff is low no one wants to work. I do not suggest you going there if you need to take any kind of driving test.

Scott Greig: Got there at 11:40a on Saturday at the East Stl office and was told they aren't taking anyone else for the day. There wasn't hardly anyone in there and could have easily been seen and been gone by noon. Only needed an ID and had all my documents. Ridiculous!!!!

Victor Migneco: The Wainwright Building is the only building in St Louis designed by the renowned Louis H Sullivan, a Chicago architect and mentor to Frank Lloyd Wright. Some say this building is one of the first modern skyscrapers to use the lightness of the steel structure to express the structural style. He also used details from other masonry buildings that he had designed. The heavy concrete buildings with very little interior light were prominent and still being built at that time. This was such a radical departure from that design.

Ed Reggi: Stop by this place and walk inside! It is considered one of the first skyscrapers in this United States! I know, you will not believe it when you enter inside, but still it is an historic treasure!
