The young Lady behind the counter was friendly efficient and personable. The older Gentleman.., i guess he's the owner, realized i was a little over my head and took time to ask about my "do it yourself" project, and what i was planning. He was patient and understanding. He made several suggestions, and provided some tips and techniques that really made the project go easier and faster. Plus because of his help i realized i didn't need everything i thought i did. Matt Bilyeu: Be careful with rentals. I just returned a van I rented from this location. The store associate from the tool rental counter came out and immediately pointed to damage on the side of the van which was present when I rented it and asked what I ran into. It was almost as if he knew the damage was there. No walk around or docunentation of damage was done either when I rented or returned the vehicle. I assume they plan on charging me or submitting a claim on my insurance for damage that I didn't cause. The store associate tells me he will check with the guy that rented the vehicle to me earlier in the day, but regardless of how this turns out they clearly have completely inadequate policy on documenting damage on rentals at either the point of return or rental. I will never rent from this Home Depot again, and I'm unlikely to shop there in general due to this bitter experience.

Emma O'Toole: If you are looking for rentals for any event, specifically a wedding, look no further! Weinhardt Party Rentals is absolutely amazing! We rented chairs, linens, napkins, chargers, table runners, flutes, serving utensils, bowls, silverware and our favorite part, the black and white checkered dance floor!! Everything was perfect and exactly what we had asked for! Dawn and her company sure know what they’re doing and made sure we had everything we needed for our event, checked in with us regularly, set up for our event and picked up at the end of the night. It could not have gone better or smoother. Out of all of the wedding vendors, this company was one of the top 3 easiest vendors to work with!!! Highly recommend. I cannot say enough great things about Dawn. You will not regret it!

Brittany Brands: *DONT RENT THEIR LINENS*-- I'm really sad to write this poor review. Weinhardt is "THE place" for rentals in stl, I know my family has used them for decades. However, I have to share my bad experience. I used Weinhardt for tables, chairs, and table linens for my wedding. Because my wedding was on a Saturday, we picked up all the items on Friday. I did not even think to take all of the linens out of the bags to check them, but I should have. Saturday morning, while we were setting up for the wedding, we unpacked all the linens to find the MOST HORRIBLE looking linens I have ever seen in my life. I wish I would have taken pictures. (if our photographer captured any, I will come back and add them). I could've cried. My mom and aunt were beyond mad. Made for a really fun morning of the wedding. The table linens were various shades of white/off-white, all various sizes and shapes, some went all the way to the floor and some didn't. The worst part was a few of the linens have big seams running down the center of them. Knowing they are closed on Saturdays, there was nothing we could do. There was also a short set-up window we had so we didn't have time to call have them make it right. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. Luckily we had beautiful flowers that could distract from the horrible linens. If you are considering renting linens from Weinhardt, go somewhere else. I wouldn't have even used these linens for a low-key birthday party or family reunion. They were that bad. Weinhardt- I think it's time you purchased new inventory. Extremely disappointed.

I picked up on Friday because Saturday there close. I said it was probably an innocent mistake and they couldn’t give me my money back because I called after I picked up the rental. Courageous One: If you’re on the IL side be sure to get the final shipping cost with all delivery considerations such as weekend and after hours drop off and pick up. It will take time to get these estimates and they strongly encouraged me to pay my deposit and I was thinking my estimate was complete then they came back and added almost $600 in delivery fees. This cost more than the total rental order. Then told me because I paid my deposit that I couldn’t cancel the order because they were “specialty” items. They will not inform you of all of the details as a scheme! I ended up having to find away to pick up the items I could fit in my car and foregoing the items I couldn’t fit. So I essentially lost about $400 because of their dishonesty and lack of transparency.

Bob H: I was there on 9/14 at 11:25am. Several employees throughout the store offered help as I shopped- very nice! When I got up to check out at the registers, there was one register open, and the gentleman behind it was having some sort of issues waiting on a lady. Our line grew to five people, at which time the cashier went and found someone to come up and deal with the issue. After waiting about three minutes, with no other cashiers in sight, I left my items on the counter, and left the store. I don’t get it. Lots of employees, but only one cashier. I’m sure I will not return to that store.

Second they didn't give me the bucket only the breaker on the Bob cat so I had to take the Bob cat back over night the kept it to put bucket on. I picked up bobcat with bucket next day when it was ready and they still charged me for the time they had it in there possession. Then there trailer breaks were shorting out. The owner oppologized to me and said he would take care of me.(whatever that means). Then I went in and he said he doesn't remember our conversation and I still got stuck with large bill.

Manny Canaday: The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had rented equipment for chipping tree limbs. I had a problem with a chipper shutting down, and not restarting. They dispatched a tech to come out and checked it out immediately, and we were promptly given another unit,so we could continue our project without a lengthy delay. One of my neighbors just asked about the place where I had rented the chipper, and I was glad to recommend this company!

Sara Larez: Rode shuttle for transport to another area business. Several riders politely requested the driver wear his mask (all riders were masked). Driver refused and then yelled and swore at them as well as threatening to kick them off the shuttle over 1/2 mile from the drop off point. Driver said he was an owner of the business and so he could do whatever he wanted. Horrible customer service and a lack of basic manners.
