We contacted St. Louis Roofing and Exteriors because of their excellent reviews online. We were not disappointed! The pricing was reasonable and they were able to install our gutters despite rain the day of, without interrupting our day at all. Dave McLean: I had a roof installed 10 years ago by Ferguson unfortunately we discovered a leak this past summer, after a couple of visits by their technician he determined the adhesive was failing and this was the source of the leak. He said that he would repair where it was leaking but it was up to me to file a claim with the Shingle Mfg which was a bit of a hassle but was well worth it, they agreed to replace my roof. I decided not to go with Ferguson because of quality issues I had with them some their fault and some were not. Things got interesting when the new roof was being installed it was discovered that Ferguson had used about 3 times the nails necessary therewere as many as 12 to 14 nails per shingle in a Willy Dilly patterns not even close to theMfg recommended use of 4 nails per shingle now I'm worried about the integrity of the decking with all the additional nail holes and if this was a contributing factor to the roof leaking in the first place. I contacted Ferguson about this and was greeted by a rather frosty Customer Service Representative, but I forwarded pictures and an explanation of my concerns and was told the Owner would contact me...I've yet to receive that call even after I made a follow up call. I was contacted by the owner a few days after my review was posted and he assured me there was no need to be concerned about the decking which was reassuring but I'm still not happy about all these unnecessary nail holes. As I mentioned the cost of the new roof was covered by the manufacturer of the shingles, but they didn't cover the cost of the damage to the ceiling and the Dining room table. After I had a very cordial conversation with the owner which he expressed remorse for the quality concerns I have, I was left with the impression I was going to receive some compensation to help cover some of the cost, it's been at least 6 weeks I still haven't received anything.Service:Roof installation

I have siding that was caulked, if I go inside my attic you can see daylight. Jim and Linda Wolfe: Our humble abode now sports a beautiful new roof applied by the Ferguson Team. Great service from the initial contact. Salesman Chris Jezik was knowledgeable, personable and likable and the installation crew worked like a well-oiled machine. Our roof is a bit of a monster (lots of intersecting panels, all at a just about 45 degree slant) but the crew were sure-footed and fearless! When the guys were done with the roof, we bought 'em pizza as a "thank you" because they put in some serious effort on our behalf. The gutter guys, too, were well-equipped and fast. The leak came back so we hired new company & they took pictures of your shoddy work & it showed why leak came back because it wasn't really fixed right the 1st time.
Debra Starks: My experience with Ferguson Roofing was not positive. They replaced my roof in the summer of 2020. The crew that worked on my roof had empty bottles in the yard while they were working. They left a satellite dish dangling from a cable wire from the side of my house. They did not leave my gutters the way the found them. When the work was completed the gutters were not aligned, there is one spot on the roof where the shingle looks ripped and metal is exposed underneath (not sure why). I called repeatedly but received no response. Someone responded to my email. They sent someone out to remove the dangling satellite dish. No one came to do a walk through after the work was completed and the problems with my gutters have yet to be addressed. I do not want them replaced, I just want them in the condition the workers found them. They also replaced my Masonite siting with vinyl. I received the invoice for the siding but once again no walk through after the work was completed. They’ve billed me $200 more than the agreed upon price for the siding and I was billed $116 more than the agreed upon price for the roof.The owners response had several inaccuracies. My email to him saying everything was ok was referring to the siding work. The crew that replaced my siding was not the same crew that replaced the roof and the work was completed weeks apart. To date no one has come out to inspect the finished worked with me. Not once did he communicate to me that the siding crew corrected the problems his roofing crew created with the gutters. Nor have I seen evidence of the corrections. Is it not standard to produce dated receipts that show the extra expense, The expenses that were over the contracted price. Should I withhold the difference between the contracted price and the final invoice until I see the receipts. I paid the total invoice for the roof but should have demanded receipts for the extra expense. I would call to ask the questions but no one returns phone calls.Service:Roof installation

We did have a minor leak that was repaired after, but we can't even be positive it was due to the roof installation since it was near the chimney. Stephen Lawrence: My wife and I experienced some misfortune during a massive storm. One of the trees near our home damaged our chimney, causing it to leak after it rained every time. The leaking caused the chimney to completely rot from the inside out. The damage eventually made its way into the house.I reached out to several companies. None of them were able to locate the leak exactly. None of them we're able to provide good support.Thankfully I ran into Lifetime Roofing and Renovation. They did an excellent job inspecting the damage and figuring out where exactly the leak was and what needed to be fixed.I say one of the best qualities of this company is that every time I reached out I got an answer back immediately. They always kept on their toes and communicated with us through every step of the way. When it came down to pricing it was fair and to the point.The repairs that they have done are excellent! Not only did they stop the leak, they were able to find some designer flaws in our chimney and resolved them. We even needed a brand new cap for our chimney and they fixed that as well! Since then, every storm we have had, big or small, we have not only had to replace shingles, we also have had to clean up the yard from debris with shingles and nails. We have small children and dogs, so we were concerned about them stepping on roofing nails after every storm. Recently, we reached out to a different roofing company that was referred to us by a friend to check our roof over. They noticed that the previous roofing company used too short of nails. Katherine Colombo: We had Lifetime come out to take a look at some small roof leaks. The 1st person that was sent out to our home said we needed around $2500 worth of work. They wanted to send a 2nd person out to further assess damage around our dormers. The 2nd person said they could not make repairs and we needed an entirely new roof with an estimate of $12k. Conflicting reports from 1 company is confusing made even more confusing considering our roof is 12 years old. We have spent the last 2 years completely updating the exterior of our home and would get a new roof if needed but we were confused since our roof isn't that old and they offered no explanation as to why we need a whole new roof after that amount of time (such as poor initial install, poor quality roof, weather damage, etc.). Even more upsetting, they damaged our brand new gutters which were installed last year with their ladder. Will not use and would not recommend! Reese Watt: We first had them do our gutters. But those leaked badly. They said the problem was the roof. I knew I needed it replaced, so I went ahead. I wish I hadn't.I'm too worn out to even give all the details. But they repeatedly tried and failed to re-attach a light to our roof. It kept falling over. I finally had to do it myself.Then, the gutters continued to leak even after the new roof. They sent one of their guys over, who then spray-painter a drop guard on my front yard and installed it. It looks really bad.Then, just a couple of weeks after we got our new roof, it rained and we got serious leaks around our skylights. When I asked them to repair it, they said the problem was the skylight and asked for a couple thousand dollars more to make sure our new roof didn't leak.I would highly recommend avoiding this company.Edit:I see that he replied. The tone of his reply should tell you a lot about his company. I'm not lying about anything. I just wanted a roof that didn't leak. I didn't insist that he replace my skylights. I just was very disappointed that my brand new roof was leaking, and *he* is the one that said the only way to fix the roof was to pay him over a thousand additional dollars to replace the skylights - something he never even suggested when he was quoting the original roofing job.I posted another photo. This shows the stains on my ceiling. These were not the before I got the new roof. How would you feel if you just paid thousands of dollars for a new roof and 3 weeks later your ceiling looked like that?

I was concerned about impending rain that could affect recent ceiling work and persistent leaking that precluded wall repair and painting in 2 other areas. Velvety Velvetpaws: This was my first project with Innvoative. They were in competition with four other suppliers for the new roof plus gutter guard on my building. Over all, they were very kind and efficient at the office phone communications lines, always giving prompt feedback on any information I required.Their sales manager who came out to do the estimate also was very matter-of-factly, which is a quality I appreciate very much. We talked about all the particulars of my project, he addressed all my concerns, and the quote was detailed, well structured, and complete. I had an issue with a rake on the front of the house, where there was a hole that needed fixing. They also handled that at the same time to my complete satisfaction. I also liked that they gave me several address references of previous clients with similar projects. I checked them all, and they were all very happy. The project went smooth and fast: not an easy job on a very complicated and steep saddle roof, three stories up in the air. Their team was efficient and well set up together. They cleaned up to a default, not just my yard, but also the neighbors.I like reliable and professional companies, where I can see that they take pride in their work, do what they promised to do and do it well the first time around. Lisa Koester WIedemann: I called innovative roofing about getting a new roof because of a few leaks after a series of bad storms. Kyle Cornell came out and after a detailed roof inspections notice strom damage to our roof, I called my insurance company and Kyle met with the adjuster at our house and from that point on Kyle took care of everything. I have never seen someone so detailed about there work and all the time he had to put in with the adjuster to make it right for us. By far the best construction/roofing experience we have ever had.We also had a dormer on out 3rd floor that was in sad shape, Innovative gave us a great price to install new siding and soffit along with white flashing over all of the window trim.
