She told me I should get some one who knows English to speak to her. I born and grew up in Guyana, the only language I know is English. I am a LPN. My supervisors, and my patients understand me. Its been past that time. ive called two different times about the status and two different woman told me it hasnt been served yet and to call back to pretty much see if the sheriffs do there job. tina wong: Tried to call non-emergency for homeless looking person camping in park. On hold for 6 minutes before I hung up. Called the station (South City)....they just transferred me back to dispatch....called back to the station and asked if they could just take a message and pass it on...no, still have to go through dispatch..."we're short staffed"....true inefficiency. Can't even leave a message anywhere or email. I really doubt there was anyone at dispatch on a Sunday evening. Hire an answering service if you have too. Better than no answer at all. I guess they figure if they don't answer they don't have to count it as a call. If they can pick up the phone at the station they should be able to pass on a message to dispatch.

In the amount of time I was on the phone, someone could’ve come to the house to investigate. It’s a very disheartening feeling when you’re in a stressful situation and the people there to protect and serve don’t answer the phone. Unreal.

Chris Farley: Dispatch calls you names while you are asking for police expert. Dispatch questions why you need an officer to help mediate a woman that is the victim of theft and elder abuse. Dispatch hangs up on concerned citizen and say “good luck”! What is the education behind a dispatcher? High School Education? I don’t know, but I am a community professional and I am alarmed! Just beware that dispatch is no “expert” and gives faulty advice. I will be reporting this incident in person this week to try to find a resolve to incompetent people not doing their job of dispatch! Dispatch needs retraining- rude and Unprofessional! claim to have patrols in areas of nightly shootings but as resident who works a variety of shifts has seen police presence once in the neighborhood in 6 years parked to give tickets to those rolling through stop sign off Vale. Policing the area so well it happens during day and night at least 3-4 times a week. Coming from law enforcement family from a real city- Chicago- have nothing but respect for the job but encounters with dispatch and officers from this department seems like staffed by unprofessional clowns!

So, after about 10 minutes of waiting I finally rung the bell as hard and long as I could while they were sitting and staring at me like I did something wrong. I mean I walked in for a reason not just to be stared at. A black guy with tattoos came to the side door and asked me “what do you need”? Lol not how can I help you? I told him that I needed to file a police report for fraud.He failed to listen to my story and told me that first I need my bank statements??????????????????? The PO that Is doing the investigation never asked for bank statements because I have other significant information that I had with me. The P.O. told me to come to this location just for the report so that it’s on file. Long story short people come to you for help and not to be dismissed. Just lazy and ignorant. You want people to trust and respect police officers but for what. All you guys do is ride around in your police cars harassing people and sit behind glass windows telling people that you can’t help them. Good luck world

Hiyello1 Gal: Today, I got yelled at because I moved my car out from behind an officer pushing a Dodge ran driven by a caucasian male. I being of agrican descent was accused of not being patient when that was not the case. I wish the officer would have just pulled me over so that I may have informed him that I simply pulled around to avoid them rolling into my car. I used to defend the police but I see more and more that these officers are rude and belligerent and have no respect for others. I apologize to this officer for goving the wrong impression, but had he not been so rude and tactless, he wouldve realized how ignorant he reacted. I will definately be making a complaint whether heard or not to the mayor/governor along with the dept . All I could see on his car SS18...he yelled so loudly that I heard him through music , heat and windows rolled up. Be safe out there people.

eric dixon: Visited the sub station today due to an accident that happened on the 14th of February. Spoke with an officer that handles inquiries at the window. Gave her the necessary information as was told to go to Clayton to obtain a copy of the accident report. Drove to Clayton and was told that it would take 10 days to generate a report. So, naturally I asked if the officer in North County could have given me this information and of course she could have. I am so frustrated right now!! I think its ridiculous that you have to wait 10 days for a report. Secondly , it was lazy and irresponsible for the first officers to send me all the way out to Clayton. Show some integrity and genuine concerns for the people!!! Shame on you lazy person. You just added yet another blemish on a lengthy list of negative perception the public have for the police department.... Good job!!
