Barry Kepp: Earth Circle is a phenomenal recycling dump. One-sort for all plastics, metals, glass, etc., and separate dumpsters for paper and cardboard. They also shred documents for a fee and the recycling is free.

Stanley McCaslin: Free recycling, separate bins for paper, cardboard, and other packaging (plastic and metal combined). Some electronics is also free.There is a fee for small appliances and shredding service.
Seth Nichols: FREE, easy, intuitive. They take cardboard, mixed paper, cans, bottles, glass, and it looks like urger items can be arranged. I see someone dropping off a TV, but that had to go to an employee. Other than that, it's self-service.

Sarah Al-Zahrani: Great place! All the bins are out front and accessible at any time including after hours (I'd advise bringing gloves to lift the lids). I will say I've called b4 and haven't gotten an answer but when I went in person on a Sunday the gentlemen their said that he was the only person there.

It's more work than just taking it to the alley and putting it in the recycling dumpster, but I'm really grateful that it exists. I had a lot of stuff and the staff helped me putting stuff into their containers.

Chad Garrison: I recycled a home printer here. It cost me $2 and change. Office Depot quoted me $15 to recycle the same printer!! Very easy to get to. Right off the highway. I was in and out in just a couple minutes.
louisfriend33: Was a bit confused at first because I didn't see the name anywhere on the building when I pulled up. After going in the employee was very helpful. PC towers were taken for free and 2 monitors I had there was a small charge around $5.

Electronics are priced at 15 cents a pound and the big screen was 19 dollars. Best Buy wanted 25 to dispose. Great experience.

Dyna Lone Rider: Closed during open hours listed on their website, drive was 45 minutes to get let down and not get paid. Apparently you can only scrap while regular joes at work because they aren't even open Saturdays anymore. I get home at 4pm and can only get here when I'm off early which is never. Used to be open until 4pm every day but also Saturdays until noon....but they changed their hours to 4:30 to toss a bone I guess....but they still close up shop. Some people have jobs, don't you want to make money just like everyone else? Apparently not, someone else will make money off my recycling I suppose. 0 Stars

Joseph Toohey: I've gone there many times and there was no problem having lots of bags of aluminum items until today regardless of size of bags. I was told to "get the f×ck out of there and never come back today. For some reason I was suddenly a problem today but before things seemed to be ok the other times I was there. It is easier to fit smaller bags in my car which I mentioned then large but they didn't care. The sign sometimes seems to apply but not always. I was told how time is money and I put my car to shame.
Kool Sanders: I'm a frequent customer there. Usually the workers are kind and friendly. But today one of the workers tried to cheat me. I had 180lbs in brass. The worker charged me 40lbs in Tare. I know what the barrels weight and it's no more than 10 to 12lbs. I saw the error and confronted the worker who tried to play dumb like he did nothing wrong . Always check you ticket and pay close attention to your weight. There is no telling how many time he and others have done this.

Brian Paterson: Definitely the most honest and fair scrap yard that I have been to. (I have been to 5 other local and one in Fenton) #1. I weighed my stuff before going here and they were actually a pound better in my favor on a couple items over a hundred pounds. #2. I know exactly what I'm selling and they didn't try to lowball me at all. #3. They gave me much better prices then anyone else. #4. Great service. Honest weight + Great prices + Great service = A new happy customer that would absolutely recommend going to Vince Jacks over any other yard !

Tommy: If I could give it zero stars, I would. I took in over 120lbs of copper and about 5 or 6 of cat5 cable. I was rung up to 127lbs, got the ticket and they put the entire load of copper under "communication wire". I questioned them as to why and they said I had wire nuts still on some of the wire. I loaded this copper into the car myself, and I saw not even a handful of wire nuts. I've given them loads like this for years and a few measly wire nuts were never a problem.So if you don't like to get screwed out of money, I suggest going elsewhere.
laura poropat: Very friendly staff and so helpful. I was in the area helping a friend and had a truck load of cans and scrap to be turned in. The guys were so helpful in unloading my items. I have been to other facilities that make you unload your own product. I got in and out with no problems. Not being from the area I will definitely pass on this company’s name to anyone in need of recycling services.

Jan Baldenweck: Directions for 291 E Hoffmeister St Louis, MO told me "you have arrived" when I was on Broadway, about 1/4 mile from my destination. Didn't know which way to turn, so drove through the intersection three more times, and placed a call for directions.
Cindi James: It is important that you plan ahead to secure an appointment by going to the website online. Very fast and super customer service by the representatives on site. Easy to drop off and get your items sorted and weighed.
Myles Farrell: So much for doing the right thing. Been trying to get a reserved spot to drop off florescent light bulbs for months now, but apparently they only have a dozen spots a week (half of which are mid-work day middle of the week) for a served population in the MILLIONS! So unless you know you can take off a Wednesday morning, a month from now, to drive half way across the county good luck doing the right thing. I expect nothing else from the government in this area

Jim: Make sure you have an accurate idea of how much the items you are dropping off weigh. The weight I was told was way more than I had estimated, and it ended up costing me nearly $100. I feel like I may have been ripped off.

Christine Dougherty: This may be the proper way to dispose of waste, but it’s not cheap. Highly recommend weighing before you go so you don’t get ripped off. I’ll find other methods of disposing or using up all the paint next time. $0.5 a pound is price just make sure you have measured your pounds prior to drop off. They don’t do much to encourage people to dispose of waste properly.

Emailed a copy of the weight ticket and the print-outs from the ATM to the customer service email address and requested a mailed check. Received no response. Will go elsewhere in the future.

calvin michel: Clean, organized and in-and-out, I don't think I been more than 30 minutes in line 1.2 trucks at the most on a normal day very quick. The staff are always helpful you can even learn a little bit from Gary while your getting weighted. I would definitely choose this company over any other in St Louis. My dog and I are satisfied customers when we leave.

Easy to recycle aluminum cans for a bit of cash.For anyone who hasn't been before, (me until today), just drive into the warehouse on the left, mask on, give ID to worker, weigh aluminum on the scale, get receipt, drive around to a little brick house ATM, scan receipt, and get your money.
Rose Osborn: Always have friendly employees and no hassles when we've gone there. You get paid after drop off usually at their ATM. It was down today and we were given a check (or they would have mailed it). Not planning on going anywhere else for our recycling.

Dimitar Pavlov: If only there was a 0 star or a negative 5. I'm never doing business with those guys again. We went over there with a sample of the metal that we were selling 5000 lbs of. They gave us a good price at first but everything went south when a week later we went to to sell, and suddenly after WE unloaded everything in their container, they decided to cut the price from 0.45 to 0.08. And only after another hour of negotiations their max price was 0.25. And all this after they had a sample, gave us a price and then scammed us after everything was unloaded. "Well If you don't like it, I'll call the crane to unload the container on the ground and you can load it back in your truck."This is not how you do business. This is how people stop doing business with you.

I do not know who these people are. They just started spamming out of nowhere. If they continue, my next report is to the Better Business Bureau and then to the FBI for harassment.

Tom Evans: I deal with a lot of scrap yards at various times.However Ace is the friendliest and easy to deal with scrap yard I've ever dealt with.The owner is a wonderful lady and needs to be applauded for the job she does.They run on a skeleton crew but yet I have no problem getting in and out of there easily and quickly.Very helpful unloading my truck.I give ACE metal and Miss Denise five stars.Thank you!!!

Nicholas Cook: The employees were nice but they pay way under what everyone else does. .40 a pound for cans when everywhere around is .60+. They pay .05/lb for scrap steel, did the math and the basically stole $40 and acted suprised when i called them out on it and still claimed they pay the best when i know thats a lie. Only thing they payed somewhat accurate to everyone else was the copper. 1/10 if you want nice people come here, if you want what your scrap is worth go somewhere else.

Crazi LBE: Called ace scrap at 10:30 on april 13th 2020 the lady in the office quoted me $1.70 for my scrap we got ther not only did they short us on the weight of the scrap they put our scrap in with theirs b4 giving us a weight limit as far how many pounds we had. (which was well over 800 pounds) they wouldn’t calculate up our total in front of us told the guy on the dock accepting the copper in couldn’t add so the lady in the front had to do it for him and remember when I said she quoted us 1.70 for the copper ..... then she tried to give us 1.35 and if we wouldn’t have caught it we would have been out of more money from them. They shorted us and said we only had 400 pounds which was totally incorrect and when we told her that that wasn’t reasonable she stated there’s nothing she could do because it was already mixed in Which their copper so not only did they get us out of our correct weight of the copper they tried to short us on the copper amount after she quoted us a price over the phone this company is not where u want to scrap especially when Vince jacks is right up the street just a heads up (THIS COMPANY WILL TRY TO GET OVER ON U) definitely won’t look this direction ever again and seeing from their other bad reviews their probably gonna say they never serviced me b4 lol But it’s a lie lol post the receipt if I need to ....GO TO VINCE JACKS save your self a headace

Penny Closser: I have gone once to this place. They are extremely rude to people. I went into recycle cans so I went there that day. WORST mistake of my life. They have customers who purposely tell you the wrong place to go. Then when you tell them what's going on, they start treating you like you are a criminal and tell you that you are harassing customers. The daughter works for mom. Apparently she can't get a job anywhere else.... I can see why. If you have a problem with their service and call, they will deny any wrong doing..you have been warned not to do business with these idiots.

Gary Stein: Ace Scrap Metal is a highly reputable organization. There prices are fair and far better then any other scrap metal dealer I’ve visited. Additionally they are always willing to explain how they arrive at that quoted price if asked. I’ve tried several other dealers, and they just don’t measure up to these guys. I will never go anywhere else.

Joshua McCallister (Omega): Small scrap yard but up to date on all current prices friendly staff and open later than most all other scrap yards on Saturday was actually open till 2:30. Was in and out within less than 20 minutes. Definitely recommended if you're running late on a Saturday even though it's in the heart of the City.
