M.B. Thomas RV Sales, Inc.: what do users think?
Mark Pinkerton: Purchased an RV before heading to Cards spring training had a few issues called when we got back and they took care no question s asked .Would recommend them when shopping for a camper
X Gemstone: What I liked most about this location was the staff. Not only were they friendly and attentive, but they were not vultures. There was nothing I felt pressured into. They were very informative for all of my question. Finally, they even addressed gaps in my knowledge that I didn't know to ask.
Steven & Amanda Tyler: Just bought our first camper with Lonnie today! Very pleased with entire sale process. We weren’t pressured into buying extra features we didn’t want/ need. We were allowed to look at all models and have time to discuss our options without someone breathing down our necks.Lonnie answered all our questions and was very respectful. Given the current market I feel like we negotiated a reasonable price as well.Lonnie’s associate, Justin, was super helpful by showing us the ins-and-outs of our new camper! Very patient with us and also answered all our questions. Can’t wait to use it!Thanks Lonnie and Justin!
Richard L Hastings Jr (Rick Hastings): Quick Friendly People
Danny Fuse: Had a group of friends take a weekend camping trip using the rv rentals from MB Thomas. Our original rv had refrigerator issues and so this awesome company upgraded us to a brand new rv without hesitation to keep us happy. They went beyond our expectations and will be using them again next spring.
Stephen Agnew: Nice people
Phillip S: We rented a Class C RV motorhome from MB Thomas for a week and had a couple of problems with the coach during our trip that were promptly resolved by the MB Thomas rental staff. They quickly located a mobile RV repair service in the area that came to us and promptly fixed our coach issues. The MB Thomas rental staff was in contact with us until the coach issues were resolved. MB Thomas will be our first choice for future RV rentals because we know they provide excellent RV rental support service and they were great to deal with!
Derrick Snow: I am currently searching for a RV. The website visit offered a very informative walk thru tour which helped me get a better idea of certain options to look for before going to visit in person.
Lyn Ruggles: Very nice and honest small family run business. Great people.
Nena Nenica: Terrible place. Nobody wants to pickup phone or call you back.
Norman Schneider: Always helpful in service and parts, just left there, Norcold fridge problems, Chris and gang working out the problems
Kevin McGinn: Very professional well-run operation been going there for 25 years
Cynthia Nelson: I can't say enough good things about them! Chris found a window for my older Winnebago RV (this was not an easy task). Taking it in for the safety inspection soon and will definitely have any work needed done here. Talked to a salesman about possibly purchasing and he was helpful without being pushy. Good experience, on the phone and in person.
Ian Johnson: Very clean, price is good and Patti is the best
Christopher Gordon: Awesome staff! Walked me thru the process of owning a RV for the first time. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be doing business with them for all my RV needs!!!!
dm hart: My hitch got a bit screwed up when I slid off of a freshly poured rock pad. I thought it was toast. Took it to the service center and they had it fixed in 5 minutes. It really saved my neck today. Had to reposition a trailer and it was easy peasy. Thankfully I didn't slide off this time!
Local Cheese: I love the old school parts department and parts guy! Chris in shop is customer service pro!
mimi good: Just stop for a part for my RV. They had what I needed. I'm happy.
Avonda R: Great place!
Joe Bauer: Very nice people
Timothy “Mr.” Clark: Nice RVs for good price.

Van City RV: what do users think?
kerensa gandy: Stopped by and was completely ignored.
Jeff Wise: Make sure you want an RVI purchased a RV from Van City 12/20/22 my salesperson & servicewere excellentThe problem is I don’t like the RV after just 1100 milesguess I’m just not a RV person.I realize I’m gonna loose a lot of money, but wasn’t prepared toloose $30,000.00 or moreI figured 10 to 15 grand which is acceptable, their solution wasto do a consignment which they also make money on.Don’t make the same mistake I madeMake sure you want a RVBecause your not getting anything close to what you paidFor it
Bill Ortmann: I woke up in PA on 10/4 with no propane pressure in my van. I was going home (CO) through St Louis, so I called Scott & he said be @ the shop @ 8 am on 10/5 & I'll get you in. I arrived, he took me in, and spent the next 4 hours diagnosing the problem with PW. Bad regulator & solenoid valve. Solenoid valve was ordered & sent overnite from PW. On 10/6 valve arrived, and tech, Josh bled out the propane tank (took over 4 hrs) installed the valve, tested it, and I was on my way home. Scott & Josh are great. They kept me informed of the process throughout, and the pricing was accurate. I highly recommend Van City/St Louis if you need repairs in that area. I have a 2018 Pleasure Way Plateau FL.
Jesse Stuart: Scott was able to get us in quick and get our rig fixed so we could get back on the road. Excellent service!
Denise Rahjes: We have always had great experiences with Van City. We have worked with Joe Parisi on many occasions, and he has been so helpful and supportive. We are new to the RV world and since purchasing a motorhome, we have had many questions and Joe has always been so happy to help us. He is a gem and Van City is lucky to have him as an employee. Really, everybody at Van City has been helpful and nice, but Joe goes above and beyond, and we are grateful for his help and expertise.
David Higginson: Thank you Scott and crew for getting us in and out quickly for a Storyteller Overland warranty fix (replacement) for a max air exhaust fan. It’s way to hot to not have that running. It looked like there was a good variety of Class B’s on the lot. No STO’s though at the moment.
Mary Ann Modrak: The mechanic that worked on my unit did not do as stated in the first job description. However, when brought to the attention of the management, he (John Chelist) corrected the situation.
William Distelhurst: Thanks EDDIE, looking for a van see ED,at VAN CITY
Mary Nicholson: We went up there when it was very very cold I think it was like 9 out with wind chill but we still enjoyed the experience. Greg came out to help us and is a very nice young man. We are just trying to decide what we really want and can afford but we will go back to see Greg when we're ready.
D Person: Very expensive labor.
Bill Maher: Pricing was higher than any dealer in the country! Trade was low balled lower than fair! Salesperson was adamant on his non negotiable price. We were shopping for a Tiburon.
Bryan B (Crunchy Bob): rude employees, don't waste your time or money here
Ed Young: 1st off , I went to the St. Louis location today to purchase I had a walk though of an RV . Yesterday and was given information sheet with the sticker price of the vehicle . They would not negotiate on cost. So I was like ok fine I will pay sticker . Then Was told there was a hidden charge for a freight charge close to an extra $2000 . Then there finance department is worthless and would not call me back for any information and no one was available to talk to about that so I called my bank was approved for everything and was like Waite these guys are un ethical. I am out here . They printed out information put it in the vehicle I was interested in buying then raised the price more ..Good luck not getting my business. I am in sales and this seriously the worst sales story I have ever encountered .
Randy Gray: I litterally had to drive four hours to get items on my motorhome repaired. My local Forest River dealerships and services would not schedule my motorhome to get two fairly major items compketed. The service department at Van City in St. Louis got my motorhome in within a few weeks of my intitial contact. They fixed everything within six hours, and did a gr8 job.Van City will be getting of coach service work in the future.
Darren Scott: Jen was great!!!!
Jake Dury: To say that I am unhappy with the customer service van city offered would be the understatement of the century. They have been absolutely awful. After showing up to an appointment (booked 2 months ahead) in Colorado, only to find they had not ordered my parts (I called 7 times to confirm they were ordered) I decided to go to the St. Louis location for future warranty work. St. Louis was just as bad as Colorado Springs.I dropped my rv off on a Saturday. Picked it up later that day. Turns out many of the jobs they claimed they completed were not done. So I had to spend that Saturday and Sunday (closed) in St. Louis unexpectedly. On Monday I dropped it off, picked it up later, only to once again find that half the jobs weren't completed. These include 3 separate recalls I was told to have fixed.I had scratched up the drivers side paneling and wanted them to fix it, on my buck obviously. The place they sent me, Paul's auto body, quoted me $13k and 20 days. I obviously declined. Ended up getting the work done in Florida for $3200 in 2 days.So what more can I say? I'll never do business with them again. I love my rv, a leisure travel van, but if the next time I'm ready to buy a new RV the only option for Leisure's is through van city, well, I'll find another manufacturer. I've never been treated so poorly. Just a horribly run business with zero respect for their customers.
Lexi Clark: Excellent selection! Great customer service! Small lot. Not a lot of parking. All in all a great experience!
Twyla G.: Excellent service during strange times! Dan answered our questions...we put down a deposit on this Wonder. We can't pick for about 90 days because they need to use it for showing others. I'll update how everything goes when we pick it up from them, hopefully soon!
Greg Hagerman: So dissappointing that I can't get my Chinook van repaired after nearly 4 months of effort. The owner of the dealership refuses to follow up & get issues resolved with parts suppliers. Uses the recent shut down as an excuse but his team fumbled for two months prior to the shut down & nobody was there to manage them prior to April. Now he's attempting to have me do the work to follow up with his supply chain rather than to get out of his chair & do the work himself. Great place when all goes well, but buyer beware that the bottom drops out fast when effort is required to make things right. Sad the owner can't show up to deliver on the promise the sales guys make.
Becky Ernst: Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Would recommend Van City to anyone needing service.
Larry Kennedy: Great RV dealership. Dan did a great job showing the Unity LTV and taking us on a test drive. We made up our mind that is what we want and will be back to buy it as soon as we save the money for it. Hopefully soon!! I recommend this dealership for your RV needs and wants! See Dan he is very knowledgeable on all the RV's they carry.

Byerly RV: what do users think?
Bunny: Tyler was amazing, the whole process was super easy and smooth! Loved loved loved the staff! Marco did a thorough job explaining everything except that I needed to turn off the power to my rig when it’s being stored. Haha came out to a dead battery. SMH lesson learned! 100% will buy from them again!
Bill Edburg: Absolutely the most amazing place I have ever purchased from.Every single person was so nice. Our salesman Guy Patton was just a regular person, not pushy, told us everything about the rvs that we had questions on. “Just Debbie” knew all the ins and outs of them and they made it fun. A great no hassle, down to earth family place to buy. I will buy all my rvs and parts from here from now on.
Richard Howard: Excellent speedy service
Jackson Pianos LLC: Found what we wanted and enjoy every trip with it and our Thor is a great mobile work space
Megan Clarkson: My fiancé and I stopped into Byerly this afternoon just to take a look around and try to figure out what type of floor plan we would be interested in. We told them right away that we weren't ready to buy just yet and still our salesman Eric spent all his time with us showing us different options and answering our many questions without making us feel rushed at all. Eric exceeded our expectations and then some! When the time comes we will definitely be coming to Byerly to purchase our first RV!
Carma Gross: Ryan Mills from the Troy repair shop, takes customer service to the next level. I am very happy to know that there is still great people in this world that cares about their jobs and how they do it. Ryan is AWESOME at his job. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience . ☺️
Richard Ragsdale: We had a great buying experience! Salesman only showed us what we were interested in, had us do a test drive down I-44 and everything fell into place. Closed the deal several days later and had a long walkthrough to become familiar with the RV. Highly recommended!
Eric Lancaster: The people working there are truly the worst people you can meet, they will belittle you and call you stupid even if they're the one that made the mistake. I would never recommend this place and RV owners that I've spoken to also have very similar experiences. It's best to stay away.
Jennifer Hancock: Everyone was great from beginning to end!
aaron laxton: A few months ago we made the decision to buy our first travel trailer. Tyler assisted us along the process and helped provide the answers that we needed. Byerly has a customer for life as a result of Tyler’s amazing customer service. It is the little things such as being available after hours via text and also sending out a thoughtful newsletter that sealed the deal for us! Don’t take a chance with a fly-by-night dealer. Byerly is worth the drive and Tyler is definitely the person that I trust!! Thank you to Byerly and to Tyler for making our first purchase so amazing!!
Bill Barnes: Terrific experience. Communication was spot on and Warren, Brett, Lisa, Michelle and team were wonderful to work with. Every excited for future adventures in our Xalta Sprinter Van.
Neil King: Fantastic people to work with. Very very helpful. The only thing that I would recommend is if you are trading motorhomes to close first thing in the morning so that you have at least a half hour to move. We felt very rushed.
eh3074: The pickup walk through was horrible. Being a new owner I did not know what to look for. The tech did not know any of the features of the trailer. After we received the used trailer we took it out the next weekend were we found a number of problems. Both refrigerators were broken and did not work, a speaker was blown, a scare light did not work properly, a window had a piece not properly attached and did not seal the window and the canopy was pulled away from the “roller”. All of these things should have been found during their pre-check.When all of the things mentioned were brought to their attention, they were great on getting the things replaced or fixed. They just need to work on their turnaround time to get it back to the owner and find and fix broken things before the new owner picks it up.
Kristal Hinnah: We would like to thank everyone at Byerly for making the purchase of our Motorhome as smooth as possible. Our salesman Chris was so helpful! From the sales floor, to finance and service, everyone worked so well together to make sure our experience was great! Thank you all for your help and hard work!
Nathan Toal: 🤩I have to say I've been absolutely mind blown with the amazing service that we have gotten from Byerly. Ryan Mills at the body shop was so amazing that I don't think I'll ever even buy another RV from anywhere else. I almost want to buy a second one just because they've been so amazing. Specifically, Ryan. My RV was an accident and he worked directly with the insurance company to knock everything out of the park and make it as easy as possible. They were able to get our RV in and get everything taken care of and get a safely back on the road. 10 Stars! 🤩
Trina Winistoerfer: When we bought our first camper we did our walk through with Alfonzo and he was fantastic. He made the experience enjoyable. Parts and service has been very helpful through the buying process as well. Had some difficulties with the hitch but they have been more than helpful to fix the problems.
Kortnei Pilgram: Jesse is the absolute best!
Jason Hawkins: Really enjoyed my visit, they were very helpful and answered all my questions. Would definitely recommend Brett and his expertise to help you get into the right situation. A++
Vernon: Thank you so much Beverly for taking us in for warranty work on our Alliance Avenue 36BRM on just a short notice. I am very thankful for this opportunity to get our coach fixed before heading out to Elkhart Indiana to the Alliance Rally. We've gone without a working refrigerator for 10 days and new a broken 3.0 leveling jack
Walter Weichsel: Tyler and Brett were great. Probably buying a motorhome this week. Would highly recommend Byerly!
Rodney Potter: First, the positive… very kind and personable people. They did a wonderful job with the sale, having our camper ready for pickup in one day, including dealing with a trade in. Knowing we weren’t local, and not going to be home for a while, they had the local sheriff come by to take care of the VIN inspection for us. They do this thing for customers, carving their name into a decorative cutting board, which they went to the trouble to still do, even though we were picking up the next day. Very impressive. The sale process went very smoothly. (This is our 3rd purchase and was by far the easiest and smoothest)Ok, on to the areas that need improvement. Our salesperson and finance person knew we were on a trip and using the new camper immediately. This wasn’t communicated to their service department, so when we did the walkthrough, it was still winterized. We waited for them to de-winterize and tested all of the systems. Not a huge deal but it did cause us to be late transferring our items and we didn’t get off the lot until after close. Our unit came outfitted with a TPMS and I ask our salesperson about the display for it, whether it came with it, or if they sold them there. I was told no to both questions. After contacting the factory, it turns out they do ship with the display and the factory had to contact the dealer to get them to send me the display. Not sure what the deal is there, but it is frustrating knowing that I could’ve left with a functional TPMS, but due to the lack of knowledge or laziness of the sales person, that did not happen.Overall, still a positive experience and I would do business with them again. I have a pet peeve about lack of communication, either with customers or internally, when it comes to businesses. It is too easy these days to communicate and find out answers to questions, to do it poorly. I hope they improve these areas in the future.
