Norrenberns Lumber & Hardware: what do users think?
Christensen Benedict: This is the place to buy your lawn care equipment! They did an amazing job all around with helping me find my new chainsaw. Very helpful and knowledgeable team. Definitely will be coming back!
Kevin McClure: Great locally-owned independent lumber yard. They have great products and excellent service. They do a lot for the community without publicizing it. Good selection of product in stock and readily available.
Michael Holohan: First experience takeaways at Norrenberns. Professional crew behind the desk, had everything I needed in stock and David T the delivery crew helped me carry some extremely heavy 2x12x20' off the alley into the backyard without question. I was a long time customer of Forest Park Lumber and feel I have have found it's long lost twin. Keep buying from local business' continues to be my goal. Thanks for the great service.
Hailey Panek: Always great customer service. There's a young guy with a beard who always helps me in the yard. If anyone knows his name let me know so that we can give him credit because he is so nice and helpful.
John Fritsch: Always a good experience. They have what you need and a little instruction or advice to go with it when you need it. Great group of employees!
Seth Georgson: Some people probably consider it a positive, but there's strictly no entry without a mask, despite no local requirements. They were nice enough to talk to me outside.
John Bishop: I had been going there for about a year before the pandemic , and thought the place was great, the guys that work inside the store are friendly and helpful. Then one day shortly after the pandemic started I walked up to the door and found out the store was no longer open to the public , so I walked around the side of the building staying close to the wall to see if there was a person to ask a question. I was only a few feet around the corner from the porch area when a guy with a beard on a forklift came from way back by the lumber storage building and came close and starting yelling at me and was insulting and angry about the fact that I shouldnt be there, even though I was only a few feet from the porch area of the store. I left my phone at home and stood there on the side of the store for several minutes and did not see anybody so rather then leave I tried to communicate. Maybe I should not have been there but like I said I was only a few feet from where the porch is and I was not wandering around or in the way. Just seemed like he was in a bad mood or maybe just an %$#@@%/?. I have not been back since
chaz miller: Great selection, staff, and diversity of products. This place is great for getting supplies for all your home projects. Highly recommend!
Rebecca OBrien: Awesome place. The guys know the business and are helpful.
Gary & Patti Dolle: The staff at Norrenberns were all professional as well as personal in their approach. They went out of their way to help us selecting the lumber for our project. They were also a one-stop-shop for the pressure treated lumber we needed during this COVID period. It's great to support local businesses during these times! Thank you Patrick and the rest of the great staff there!
Nate Pratt: Best lumber yard in Saint Louis
Tim Appel: Have been in a pinch a couple of times and of coarse y'all were right there when I needed support. If I could I'd give.... 12☆
Tim McNabb: Great lumber yard. Good selection, great staff. My go-to yard.
Paul Suntrup: Great place. Always have the tool I need in a pinch. Close, when I can’t make it to another store.
Jeremy M.: Great service! The employees that work here are nice and laid back. The prices are reasonable and they even did cuts for me at no extra charge!
The Prezidizza: Great service. Big Smile.
Ted Klos: This place has everything u need for carpentry projects, service good, prices reasonable.
Jim Zavist: Old school lumber yard - decent selection and good personal service!
Richard Raaf: Great place. Knowledgeable people.
john harris: Great place for all your building and lumber needs. The collection of American hardwoods, walnut, cherry, oak is amazing!
Kevin Noland: Nice people to do business with.

Fehlig Brothers Box & Lumber: what do users think?
Ting Wang: Pat is the most amazing person. He saved my life & tears with a project I’ve been working on for months that has been causing me so much frustration & just like that he helped all my frustration disappear. Thank you Pat!!!! Can’t recommend this place enough.
Michael Dahlheimer: Price is highly competitive and service is second to none.Everybody I've worked with has gone out of there way to help me with my orders over the years -- and I'm just a small-time guy who needs lumber for his house every once in a while. Pat has spent a lot of time helping me figure out what I need for my projects over the years, and he's has saved me a lot of money by recommending less expensive options. I can't say enough good things about this place.
Michael Buckley: Work here for 33 years can't be all bad !
Nobody Special: I never knew! Delivery and customer service unmatched!
Joshua Weaver: Very helpful staff. Has a home-town business kind of feel. I will definitely go here first for any lumber.I looked this place up because a chain home improvement store that loves the color orange wanted to charge me crazy prices because they didn't have the plywood in the sizes I was looking for (they wanted to cut up large pieces and scrap the rest)
CYNTHIA DEMOSS: Old -fashioned, very helpful lumberyard with knowledgeable staff that aims to please, so refreshing!
James Adkins: Got to do a button hook to get into this place but easy to get to but more importantly they are quick at unloading, very professional and definitely will try to get more loads coming here if I keep finding them on the load board. Great place for owner operators. They don't waste your time
James Wilson: A close quality lumber supplier with support materials for the building and construction industry. For normal and specialty lumber needs not carried by the large store market.
Stephen Roufa: Excellent customer service. I recommend Fehlig Bros.
Laura Thake: There's a reason they've been in business for almost 150 years. They are the nicest people, working hard to make you happy, deliver on-time, and with a smile from everyone you encounter. Why can't everyone operate like this?
David Williams: They have your lumber needs.
Roger Allison: Great place for the out of the ordinary millwork.
Andy H.: Fair prices, delivery, always a solution for problems. I love it! Happy with them for 4 years now.
D Davidson: Very helpful
karen oleary: Best lumber yard in the state. Will have all your needs along with better quality wood then home depot or Lowe's grade 2 wood Fehlig Carey's grade 1
Nestor Wheelock: They stock what Home Depot didn't. Nice guys there to help. Neat old building.
Paul Pagano: Always have what I need and they get it to me quickly.
Scotty “Scotts” Contracting: Good People selling Quality Products at Affordable prices!

Schaller Hardwood Lumber Co. St. Louis Facility: what do users think?
Dane Schickedanz: Prices seem good, but they are deceiving. There sticks measure about 5-8% more then what a tape measure does and then they want to charge an additional 10% for milling services - calling in S3S. It is slightly better then rough lumber with “sort of” a straight line edge. Still needs to be seriously jointed and planed on all sides. Never a good experience when buying lumber there. Convenient but not at all worth it.
Brian Van Hoosier: This is a hidden gem in St Louis and the best place to get your rough cut hard wood. Any project you got this is where to start. Top quality and the staff is nothing but friendly and supportive.
William Turner: Good quality hardwood at fair price. Good service.
Joel Emery: I found the resident shop dog to be very helpful. ;) But seriously, great first time here, thank you!
John Hansen: Easy to deal with and were able to get special order within a couple days. Plenty of standard sizes in stock. They don’t take credit card, cash or check only.
Scott Schonrock: Tight place to get in and out of.

Lumber Logs: what do users think?
Rick LaFaver: Best hardwood dealer in Missouri.
Marcus Cooley: What a wonderful and magical place. Great prices and super friendly and welcoming to a first timer. 10/5
Ryan Barnes: Best prices on lumber around! Great stock of slabs and turning stock. They always have some super unique pieces. Joe and Tom always offer great service! A+ in my book.
William Turner: Wonderful resource run by extraordinary people.
Gino Acinelli: A lot of great pieces and helpful staff.
Todd Thayer: This place has the best prices for lumber and wood turning blanks in the area. Each trip is a surprise and i alwas bring home more than i expected. They only accept cash or checks, but that's not a big deal. The only way the place could be a better experience for me is if there was a trout stream on the premises. Amazing, friendly staff. If you dont know anything about wood, dont be afraid to talk to the employees or bystanders. What an amazing treasure for the woodworking community of St. Louis.
A: one of the best lumber shops period, certainly the best in the St Louis area. if you want to tout the "green" aspect of your work it doesnt get much better than city trees turned into lumber instead of chips in a landfill. shopping is like a treasure hunt with species one might not normally see. they also have a great collection of spalted wood, wide planks, thick planks, slabs etc. the prices are great and Tom and Joe are more than happy to help. I always start here for any project. truly a local treasure
Josh Peck: Very cool place to get nice wood at reasonable prices.
Scott Braman: They have a great selection of wood. Prices are expecting reasonable, Joe was very helpful and made a point to talk to a lot of the customers new like me or their regulars.
Jeremy Crites: Great place to get unique high quality lumber.
Darrick Hays: Great place! So many different varieties of local lumber. This was my first visit and I was almost overwhelmed, but because I already knew what I was looking for I was able to focus on what I needed to get. Tom was very helpful and showed me around real quick and then let me do my thing until it was time to check out. I wish they were open more than 4 hours a month, but that's probably good as i'd be making trips up there every other day for no reason other than to look around and hang out!
David Miller: Awesome people to work with GREAT pricing and got a Live Edge bar top for our home we love!! Could not have turned out better!!
Alysha Colón: I really enjoyed this place, lots of locally sourced wood to pick from. The owner was really patient with me, helpful, and made nice suggestions. I will definitely be back for any future projects.
Greg Gollaher: A really good place for interesting lumber. A good resource for live edge and figured pieces at a reasonable price.
Matthew Molitor: Lumber logs has a great selection of beautiful wood. The guys working there are very personable and seem to really know their stuff. Some really cool turning blanks in addition to boards, and in nice big sizes that I was having trouble finding elsewhere. You'll have a hard time shelling out big bucks for wood at Woodcraft or Rockler after going to this place.

Beyers Lumber & Hardware - A Builder's Resource!: what do users think?
Igor Soyfer: Updated 11/15/22.Moved to a new place behind warehouses. Store has much less stuff inside, hours from 7 to 4:30pm, closed on weekends. Hard to go there unless you can do it during work day.Good place with knowledgeble people to help. Has lots of materials for building decks, etc. Short delivery time comparing to big stores.
brett fischer: Great place for all your needs.
Craig Storandt: a very knowledgeable sales force.... And a wide range of building products .... they had the exact Cedar pieces I was looking for......
Susan Denise Brown: Very friendly, helpful staff.
Lois Klayman: Do not think they are still open.
Debby Leonard: I had trouble getting my point across as to what I wanted done to the boards that I wanted ripped, needed to explain several times, I don't know maybe an off day, while they wore masks, they didn't cover both nose and mouth, even though the sign on the door talks about wearing masks
Mary Hemp: Staff was very nice and helpful. Thank you Beyers.
John Pendergrass: Excellent store helpful st and knowledgeable staff. Found all the items i was looking for.
Chris Brown: Got everything you need and are happy to help.

Eric Zumwalt: Excellent service and knowledgable staff. They were able to price and cut some bead board for me exactly as I needed it.
Ryan Demming: I received great service from Beyers Lumber & Hardware. I needed to change my license plate that was severely rusted. The screws were so rusted that the process took over thirty minute. Tom (I forgot the workers actual name) provided excellent customer service. We explored multiple removal options with little success. Finally, Tom had to drill into the screw in order to remove it. After we changed the license plate.Tom only changed me a dollar for the new screws that I bought. I expected to pay more for labor cost, but Tom was satisfied with just helping. Great people and great service at Beyers Lumber & Hardware.
