Burkart's Woodworks: what do users think?
Kelsey Meyer: They were able to match the piece I needed for my home. I was charged a $99 fee for the custom wood I had cut, in addition to the by-foot pricing. I was not told about the fee until I picked up the order.
Sean Ghosh: Subpar experience. I stopped by because I was in the area and the other reviews made it seem like if I had questions he would be happy to answer. Right off the bat was not a friendly experience. There was a sign that said to check in at an office area. I went in and said hello, to which he didn’t turn around and asked what I was there for. I said to check in. I suppose it could be that he didn’t care for the idea of making a desktop for a standing desk. He said he wouldn’t do it as it would be too expensive, but didn’t give me a price. When I asked if there was somewhere else he would recommend asking around for help with a desktop I was told to go to IKEA and then asked if I knew what IKEA was. This was not helpful. I was looking for something unique for a desktop. 🤷‍♂️
Chris coco: If your a contractors or do it yourselfer in need of quality trim you can not get at the box stores and prices are very competitive.
ed remmert: Awesome service great price fast delivery of custom wood trim ! Highly-recomend to any one trying to match that 1 off style wood trim products! 5 star's ! ! ! ! !
Claudia Schwartz Wendling: Helpful to me with my tiny purchase as I noticed others with giant intricate decorative pieces. Really appreciate they are helpful & kind at all levels.
Terry Cochran: Bring in your questions and problems and they have answers, solutions and great customer service.
Kevin Fogleman: Great place great service. Very economical pricing.
Jason krankel: Best wood milling place in st louis
Neeta Satam: Over the last two year, I got some crown moulding, baseboards and door trims custom made for my 100-year old house. The first time I visited the business I talked to Marvin about my project. I was a novice when it came to woodwork. I didn't know what pieces I need for my door frame and how much to order. He showed me around the shop as well as a custom door project he was working on. He was incredibly patient answering all my questions. I have returned three times since to get various things I needed during my home restoration. Most recently Katie helped me with my orders and she was a delight to work with. The rest of the staff I have interacted with are super nice and professional. All my ordering was hassle free and deliveries were prompt. These folks are some of the best people I have interacted with during the three years process of my house rehab.
Tim Pannett: Amazing place with exceptional staff! I’ve been going for nearly 20 years and not only have I gotten all the woodwork needed but also priceless woodworking advice.
S Hunley: Always a pleasure going there
Paul Treves: Very friendly and willing to custom cut whatever you need. The turnaround for custom cutting was second to none.
Michael Vognild (Sledgehamster): Burkart's provided me with near-custom window and door casings for my Arts and Crafts home that was a nearly identical match to the original woodwork-- for a lower price per board foot than I can buy raw lumber!
Stephen k Gordon: You can't beat the quality of there work. or the price. .
Brian Villa: Pro historic restoration focused carpenter; they make our lives a little easier
Matt OBrien: Great quality and great service.
Mick Dickus: Best in the business
Christopher Galli: Great prices on custom millwork and even better prices on what they have in stock. The staff is friendly and eager to help.
Tim Broughton: Awesome to work with, reasonable prices, quick turn around of orders. Great source for trim and molding.
Pedro Smith: Been there a few times now and love it. Great wood and trim selection, prices and service.
Mountainless MTB: The best wood milling places around.
