Ariel Turner: Words can't express my gratitude for the 2022 Christmas Shopping Program. The event was very well organized! My personal shopper was very helpful/personal with my experience. The checkout process was easy and the helpful men taking things to the cars for shoppers was a great addition. Having a nice breakfast during the wait to fellowship with other shoppers made it even better! Whoever organized this event, volunteers, staff etc is deserving of a job well done. If I could give more than five stars I would. This was a great initiative to help families in the St.Louis Community!

Penelope Smith: I learned about Mission St Louis from the internet. I called and place my name on list for home repairs. I must tell the viewers that I had a response within a week. I received an email from Mission St Louis and they went above and beyond to accommodate me with my home repairs. The guy is who came out to my home was very respectful, empathic and I must say thorough. He completed the repairs from plumbing to electric work. He didn’t leave a mess and went above and beyond to make sure my home was safe, and I am very content. I highly recommend city if St Louis residence to look into Mission St Louis there are an abundance of offered programs that may accommodate you. Thank you Mission St Louis with the utmost!!!

Stephanie Campbell: The building is a hidden gem in north Saint Louis. My caseworker was very nice and welcoming. She was also patient. This place offers a variety of resources. I'm currently enrolling in the Missouri Skill Up program. I'm so happy I found this program. The best thing about the program is that it is free. You can't beat free!
Michael Mohr: Every 1st Saturday there is a reentry fair to help men and women who are on probation or parole.

Carmela Mccollum: Couldn't get ahold of anyone
Liyah Smith: I applied here March 2021, when I was 19 with an infant. I didn’t receive any calls or emails and I called multiple times. I got called for 3 interviews. THREE! The second and third time I was told they didn’t see my information, so I said F it. I thought this was supposed to be a place that help young moms in need of housing and safety, but I guess not. Don’t waste your time with these people
Jai Showers: Great place to stay of you really need help to get On your feet. They teach you to cook, clean, budget, and save money. They give you clothes if needed. They give pampers daily for kids still in diapers. They have a family room in the basement to have family time with each other. You have your own private room, Own bed, and own crib for child. I stayed here for 3 month in 2000, I only left because I needed independentcy. I was 17 when I got there and 18 when I left and I was able to sign my own lease. When I left they gave me the money out my savings. Like I said if you need the help go here. I recommend teens and young adults with children.

godfrey owens: Almost home was a Great Place at one time. Now they're just a bunch of miserable older women that's just coming to work a paycheck. Instead of focusing on these young ladies future, these ladies always seeking ways to degrade these young ladies. They focus more on evicting these young girls instead of teaching them how to be parents. It's not all bad but it's not what it suppose to be..

Dana Edwards: I use to live her back in Feb 2007 with my oldest daughter who at the time was only 7months and I was 18. I loved everything about this place. Before I lived here I had nothing.. I gained everything plus some more. I learned to be a better parent and an even Greater woman.. thank you to all the staff members of Almost Home.. thank you to the house parents who where my parents when I didnt have one! I wish you guys nothing but growth and blessings!

If you are ready to get your life together for yourself and your kid(s) this is a great opportunity for young mothers that need that push in life. The Staff Are Nice But They Are Never Consistent. Everytime I Go In Almost Home I Constantly See New Employees. This Is Not Such A Good Look For The Program At All !!!! Also I Feel Like We Should Have Real Security On The Apartments Considering The Fact That So Many Cars Have Been Broken Into Within The Past Month. Juiicy Pipes: I loved Almost Home. They were a stepping stone to adult life. They gave me and my 2 year old a place to live when we wasn’t wanted anywhere else. They made me feel more like an adult. We had to pay rent, chores, classes and they made sure we were either enrolled in school or had a job. We ate together to show our kids that dinner time is family time. I matured in so many ways I was in my own apartment in less than 2 months but then I was abused by my then boyfriend and I was back homeless again. But I contacted Ms Rhonda and she let me know I qualified to stay in the Apartments across the street from Almost Home. I now have two kids and we absolutely love our home and is blessed and grateful for all opportunities Almost Home gave us.
Catrina B: wow they were not like these two reviews at all. i just didn't like the mandatory early time schedule. We cooked on a schedule for ourselves and had all new donations or was allowed allotted monies to do so. Even though I was put out, It was for the reason above. They could let people stay out longer especially on weekends overnights.

Shabibi Mc: I spent a lot of time going through their initial process only to be let down due to their COVID-19 vaccine mandate. It took months to go through all of the testing, evaluations and counseling to begin what they called the "programming" process. The first thing I didn't like was they gave people alcohol then talked them into doing things. Since I don't drink or smoke this behavior made me skeptical about the program.

Mark Baker: They've been making sketchy comments in the news. Encouraging women to go to other states to get abortions. I'm sorry, what does that have to do with your mission?
Cinna: I was so disappointed with them. I was accepted into the program and after signing paperwork, but before the cohort began, I disclosed I have a disability. About a week later I got a phone cal telling me they were changing their decision to accept me because “it would be too much for me”. If you want to be in their program do not tell them anything they could possibly discriminate against you for. .

Kirra Reed: I love this organization!! I went for a visit with my mom (Misha) and we got a walk-through of the building and it was magnificent. I love the famous women quotes of the walls, windows, and doors. I hope to one day go back to be able to see their plans for the place in action and to play with their awesome desks.
