Gregory Jenner: Love this Cemetery. I do. I can't ever find my grandfather here. I don't know what the hell the people are doing at this Cemetery but it's got to stop. You need to find all the hidden grave markers that are there and put them on some sort of platform. I was there 2 years ago trying to find my grandfather's marker but I couldn't find him. I'm very concerned that all my relatives won't find him either. I want to speak with the owners personally and they need to understand a few things. Owners I wantto meet up with you
Arrie Jackson (Ms. Jackson 26): My mother among many other family and friends rest here. The only issue I have with them is my mother's flowers as well as solar lights were ran over by a vehicle and destroyed. That really 🤬me the 🤬 off. They were notified and nothing was done. Now I don't put things there that I really would like because I feel that someone might steal or break it....
Christan “Forever21nLove” Matthews: Called all the way from Los Angeles, California; and spoke to an extremely nice gentleman named Eric about getting my kids grandmother a headstone...I've never met her, nor my kids, she died when their father was about 15 years old. He then up'd and move from St Louis, MO to sunny 🌞 California were he met me 14 years later. I've never been to Saint Louis, but I looking forward in working with Eric and staff to get my kiddos grandmother a proper headstone/memorial ❤️

Denise Pott: I visited family graves today, and the area was completely overgrown with weeds, to the point that many of the graves are completely obscured. We had to tear away the vegetation on several before finding the right ones. I was appalled at the condition, and made a complaint at the office. The response was that they would trim around the family graves. Much more than that is needed. The cemetery seems to be going downhill rapidly.
Kathleen Bono: If I could I would attach the video of the disrespectful way they handled the casket of someone’s loved one. Here is a couple pictures of it sideways and spun around. Do better Laurel Hill. Very disappointed.(We we’re considering burying a loved one here. Found a very respectful place right down the road with family buried) Valhalla Chapel.
Nancy Jones: When I went to visit my daughters grave marker, the vase was missing, and her birth/death dates were not there..Seems to me the people who care for this cemetery dont care about the dead. Have no respect. If I could I would dig up her grave and move it and have a proper headstone for her. I am very disappointed in this cemetery! 😭

Every time I go to visit my mom and grandmother my husband have to bring his trimmer! To cut around their headstones! I have spoke with Eric several times about this issue! His attitude is so nonchalant! No compassion about the issue! I’m going to keep complaining and reaching out to the BBB Tell tell someone do something about this situation!!Please if you’re reading this do not bury your love ones at this cemetery!!!

Myron McGee: THIS PLACE HAS NO RESPECT! Every time my family visits my grandmother, there’s always some bs. We take her a few flowers and things to pretty up her grave every holiday. And every single time we return to retrieve her decorations (BEFORE THE POSTED DATE FOR PICKUP) they’re always destroyed and scattered about, dirt piles over parts of her marker and flowers, or boards covering the entire grave decorations and all. Enough is enough! Do better! My family plan on moving my grandmother whenever possible. You have no respect and are in dire need of new/better ethics and human f-ing decency, standards, AND staff!
Cindy G.: We could tell by the condition of the grounds that someone is taking pride in what they do. The grass around the headstones was neatly trimmed. Everything looked better today as compared to times past.A groundskeeper even gave us a big wave from the distance. Hope he knows how much families appreciate his hard work.
Krystle Brown: I went to my niece grave whose buried directly under my sister and found her very small headstone buried in grass and mud. It’s extremely upsetting to continue to come here and see the lack of maintenance. I’ll be emailing and calling them tomorrow.
J'Nai Danyaal: Women who work here are rude and inconsiderate. Locked my keys in my car yesterday after visiting my mother and they did not answer they door when I knocked on the door (I know they were there, I saw their car and them on multiple occasions outside).. Then they drove right past me and did not stop to see if everything was at least ok on their property. Mind you it was 8-9pm.. Then the other day a girl was trying to find her family and the same ladies just drove off after seeing the girl get out to knock.
Ni San: The staff is always pleasant when I talked and very helpful. I had a special request concerning my father's grave site and they were very helpful. I am glad we chose this place.
Rita Jones: The staff are very nice and attentive, we have laid to rest several of my family members and each time the staff has been great.
Rell Monger: These people are pleasant & nice when I walk in. It's a cemetery I don't expect anything less where I spend my $ & my love one gravesite is taken care of.

Justin (J Payne): I lost my mom last year, and this is where we laid her to rest. The grounds are well kept. The staff is/are very helpful and friendly. When u go there ask for Ms. Pat. She was very good to my family.

James Morrissey: Great memorial to a excellent statesman, architect and founding father.
Stanley Johnson: Good exhibit on the history of music in St. Louis. History on the fight for women's rights in STL. New exhibits coming in the future.
Tim Lurkins: There was too much mourning/ shaking our history. As someone who loves both history and St Louis, I expected more. The place was nice and informational but the displays could have been better.

HODTU: Good place and always will be graves are well kept and the dead dont complain much.
Pam Nelson: I gave a 1 because I couldn’t give lower. This has been the worse experience. My dad AND my mom had pre paid arrangements and maybe that is why the service is so hurtful and inconsiderate. They lie and don’t do what my parents paid for. I won’t go into details because there are so many inconsiderate things I could list it would go on forever. I’ll be contacting “you paid for it” to get results. DoNOT use this this business for your loved ones it is terrible and they lie to you.

Liz Stewart: We are so grateful to Norrisa at Oak Grove for her kind and knowledgeable assistance with the recent loss of our brother. Every call was compassionately handled and her assistance with the service was so appreciated. Oak Grove was a mess when we laid our mother to rest in 2013, and while there is still a lot of work to do, the new owners have made great improvements to the chapel and grounds.

I went to look for an older graves and I had the most nice gentleman he said that he would help me until we find it he did see that! This was on a wet Misty day too! Young woman went and got the map and we looked until we found that stone then he went got a shovel to raise that stone so it would be a problem next time So kind and empathic!

Susan Oswald: I went to view my large family members graves in the Parkview Section. My car was stuck in the mud and mud was up to my windows after rocking and spinning the wheels. This was the street. Entire area was totally trashed with debris and all the tombstones totally grown over . Could only find one tombstone out of the 15 or 20 family members.I talked to lovely lady in the office who took my information. She was the only good experience .Thank God for her being concerned and courteous.It is a travesty and a terrible disrespect that was allowed to happen with the previous owners. Now a new management has a difficult task. An easy fix would at least be to clear the yard debris and use a grass trimmer.Please address the horrendous roads and the acreage of limbs and debris, Mow and trim the tombstones.I am absolutely horrified at the condition of the Parkview section.
Cordex Spraypaint and art: Visited my grandparents and aunts grave today at Oak Grove with my aunts and cousins. We were unsure of the ground conditions so brought a rake and other gardening tools to clean up if needed. Boy were we so pleasantly surprised to see the grounds so well maintained. It gave us such comfort knowing this. Keep up the good job it is being noticed💕
Christopher Brown: Still very well unkept limbs and branches everywhere on my visit today. The front looks nice the back however totally different story. Grass so high I had insect bites everywhere when I left, made me feel sad to have my loved one somewhere that looks like this. She was such an elegant person in life and deserves BETTER!!
