Visitation Academy of St. Louis: what do users think?
Mary McGraugh: My cousin had a horrible experience here. She was unfairly expelled and given no support after such a traumatizing ordeal. There was no discussion or compassion on the side of the school administration. They claim to be a Catholic and Christian institution but if they really were, they would practice what they preach, which they absolutely do not. I would never consider sending any of my daughters here.
Courtney Fusz: Visitation has gone over and beyond for my daughter! She’s been there since the toddler Montessori program and is now in 3rd grade. The teachers communicate with you and they want your daughter to succeed! The other day we went to morning mass before school and I was so touched that a young woman, that was obviously on high school, walked up to my daughter and knew her by name. Come for a visit and see just how wonderful Visitation Academy could be for your child!
Bev Byrd: Love this school. They really care about the students. Every school is not for everyone. Academics are important and Viz strives to have girls be well rounded. Faculty and staff care about student and look out for them. I have worked here for 18+years and still love it.
Glo.kidz5 Channel: I love this
ila l: Best all-girls school in Saint Louis. Focus on education but they also have solid athletics.
Helen Gelhot: We shopped around exhaustively for schools and this one had was "hands down" tops for academics. The (surprisingly) best part however was the kindness we were shown which was unique to Visitation. .

Holy Cross Academy - St John Paul II Campus: what do users think?
lolo dano: My kids went there love it
Andrea: We enrolled our 4 year old recently, Angie the preschool director gave us tour and answered all my questions. She was always friendly, and so was all the staff! They always seem to be in a good positive mood. My daughter loves it here. The teachers help her hands on writing her name and doing activities. We are above satisfied with this school. They have learning activities all day which is so amazing. Thank you holy cross staff.
Big Mike: Some of the rudest parents I have ever been around. We are at the State Final 4 in Cape Girardeau.
Tony Belosi: Love this school!!

MICDS (Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School): what do users think?
stephanie kolman: Wonderful middle school teachers, great families!
Srikamal M: Went here for kindergarten from what I remember it was a great school!
Key Gateway: Thanks I hate it
Jin Zou (阿瑾): This private school has the biggest campus and ball park with beautiful view for about 1200 students. What a luxury!!
Unequaled Maverick: Beautiful school in a top notch area.
Stacey B.: MICDS is not a perfect school; however, I don't believe any perfect schools exist. I think it is a very bad over exaggeration to say all the kids get bullied. My child has been there for 5 years and has never gotten bullied. I can count at least 5 more students who have never gotten bullied, which means all the kids there aren't getting bullied. Bulling does exist in most schools in some fashion and if it is not reported nothing can be done. You should never stop moving up the ladder of administration until you get results, no matter where you go. My son isn't the smartest, coolest, or sportiest but he is very comfortable with who he is and the school has supported that from our experience. The teachers and administrators that I have directly dealt with during our time there are ALL amazing! There is nothing basic about anything taught at MICDS. Do they have some bad apples on faculty, maybe; however, I have never met them. And I'm not saying they do not exist, but does that mean the entire school is horrible, no. It means there is work to be done! And I believe the head of school is more then willing to clean house if something is brought to her attention. You can't just fire someone because a parent is upset, but if a parent reports a teacher and a trend is identified, then that is grounds from removal. The head of school is a gracious woman who LOVES her kids (all who attend)! She has a very tricky role to play, she can't do it alone and she can't change the attitudes of everyone! However, she is trying to be the best human being she can be and is expecting the same from all who are in the MICDS community! I don't believe in throwing stones, unless you can claim perfection in your life. No place is perfect and all kids deserve a great, fun, and safe place to learn. Does the school need to increase it's diversity in the student body and faculty, yes. Is the school moving toward improvement in that area, yes. Nothing happens overnight, so I think it is very irresponsible to condemn the school for an issue the school is trying to address. It is a very prestigious school and full of wealth with that comes some "uncomfortable" conversations, different perceptions, different values and morals. When you have a bowl full of different oils they don't always mix well, so it takes strategic efforts from everyone to make things blend smoothly. And MICDS is no different.
Shell Oakley: By far the best college prep school in St. Louis. You get what you pay for. It is expensive, but you won't find a better education anywhere. They do offer scholarships! Their students are well rounded and are taught/coached on how to navigate and thrive in today's global community. Their science education program is stellar! They are working hard to make it a more diverse school and have come a long way over the years. I would highly recommend that you call for a tour...I promise you'll be impressed!
Wally Greer: Horrible traffic jams morning and afternoon.
shaaz ahmed: The school lacks in diversity. The admissions has to be open to accepting a more diverse student body. Not too impressed.

Margaret H Pearson: Progressive, inclusive education that encourages kids to be leaders on a global stage.

Jessica Bueler: Wonderful environment for children to grow and reach their full potential.
Tasmyn Scarl: New City School has been and continues to be a remarkable experience for our whole family. Our kids will not only be more prepared for the increasingly rigorous academic challenges they will face in secondary school, they are learning to be good people who understand how to navigate the complexities of today's world with curiosity, respect for diversity, ability to express themselves in a thoughtful way, and a lifelong joy of learning.
James Grove: A great school for preschool through 6th grade. Teaches using the theory of multiple intelligences.
