Saint Stanislaus Conservation Area: what do users think?
Jeromy Boze: Great hiking trails.
Ted Rufkahr: Took my dog for a walk. All good except for all the trash people throw all over the place. Don’t get it. Should fine the hell out of people that litter. Maybe they wouldn’t do it so much. For real
Sara Davis: Such a pretty place that I stumbled upon one evening. Looks like there is a lot more to explore and I would love to go back when they days are longer. Some water runs through different areas, lots of trees and paths. A little noisy as it’s right off a main road but still really nice. It’s nice to have these parks in my area, it’s a good way to clear my mind after a long day.
Mat Zone: Great place to bring your dog.
kristen strinni: This a beautiful place with great paths to walk. There are many easy paths to just leisurely enjoy nature, and a few challenging up hill routes if you want a work out. I love that it's so natural and not a bunch of paved man made paths. I can't believe I lived here for so long and never knew about this place. I go almost every weekend now.
Andrew Maxwell: Very pretty. Great for short hikes.
Pickle Sour: Dog-friendliness: Leash required
Paul Long: This hike gives me a feeling what Lewis and Clark must have seen. It has a wilderness feeling. I didn't have time to explore the recesses of this hike. It has a short trail for easy walking and longer trails for the experienced hiker. Whatever your experience It will make you want to go back and enjoy more just like Lewis and Clark. The Lord's expanse of creation reveals itself in a mighty way.
semira king: Should be closed to bikers and hikers during bow season
Therese Reichardt: This place is gorgeous. Lots of places to walk/hike, play with your dogs, disk golf, basketball court, waterfront to fish from. I love the view.
Angel Wintrode: Beautiful walking trail.
bernard5821: I was expecting a biking/walking trail that led to the river. Only a fraction of the course was paved. I will better research in the future.
Timothy Fox: Absolutely beautiful and spacious. Many different trails as well as old ruins to explore. Do be careful on the trails. Respect the land. And if you come at night, sometimes you may hear a large group of coyotes howling.
Matthew Norman: Very neat area not far from the Missouri river, lots of wildlife and wildflowers throughout the wooded areas. Nice hike over terrain and on the lowland trails.
Scott Behlmann: Vary nice place to hike. It very beautiful and quiet.
Amjad Abdallah: I love this park. Could elevation, beautiful scenery, and a fun hike. Only thing missing are deer
Devon Hansen: Great place for hiking really cool old structures in the back
John Breen: Saw lots of evidence of beaver activity.
David Venegoni: Neat area. Great for a walk
Melanie: Had a great walk with my girls...love the smell of fall
Owen Dabek: Pleasant retreat near the river. Great place to encounter various birds. Saw and recorded pileated woodpeckers and barred owls. The trails are for the most part unmarked and the map provided at the entrance did not reflect anything I encountered after crossing the creek on the little bridge. When walking in the low wetland make sure you keep an eye out. There are archers all around.

Columbia Bottom Conservation Area: what do users think?
L. Smith: Needs ground maintenance.
Matt Staszewski: There's absolutely nowhere to go hiking anymore either. And everything is overgrown including neglected. Why is the visitor center never ever open? The only still in existence is a boat ramp. Who is responsible for maintenance? I would fire them all.
Martin Flores: Magnifica
Joe H: Confluence Trailhead is here but it’s broken up and overgrown a bit. However not totally inaccessible. Perfect hiking to see the river edge or for peace and quiet. I’d recommend going in winter, to cut down on possible tick exposure.
Brandon Jarrett: Great dove hunting
Ishea Young-Taylor: I hate giving one star reviews but its the truth. Its so dessert looking, weeds over grown and ofcourse the welcome center was closed and nobody answered the photo. A lot of the trails was closed/blocked off and the gravel roads or horrific. They gravel has been kicked around so much that ur just riding on bumpy pavement. I'm sure in the spring and summer its beautiful but for the fall season its a waste of time.
David Matthews: Great photo opportunity in the summer
Thomas Baker: My fault. Procrastinated and came to late for sunflowers and confluence trail appeared washed out. Disappointing but not their fault 🤷🏻‍♂️
Linda Dalton: The place is closed. No sunflowers in any of their fields. So disappointed!
Christine Lampe: Drive forever for nothing. Complete waste of time.
Benjamin Hoover: always a beautiful place to explore
Praveen Ellappa: Nice sunflower field and its free!!
LEAH “QUEEN OF BROKEN HEART'S”: Love the 🌻🌻🌻.. n the man I call my KING 👑 my luv
Shreenivas Patil: Awesome place, must visit! Don't miss sunflower season starting in July till Aug mid. Drive till the end to river/boat area to complete your trip. Lot of stops in between to take pictures. Never miss the sunset, it's mind blowing experience. Place is very calm, free of pollution with less crowd. You can capture lot of nature scenic pictures. Try to be on sunny day and at least one hour before sunset. Gate closes after sunset, so plan your trip accordingly. No entry free. Overall, we enjoyed our visit. A must go places, try it to enjoy the beautiful nature and river view. Thanks for reading this comment.
Nikkidemus Phenoix: Fun, mind the bees and bugs, lots of people, but amazing opportunity for stunning photos. Thanks for planting all these beautiful flowers and helping the bees!
Michael Kiffmeyer: Beautiful!!
Eldrick Hewitt: It's very peaceful
TDH Reviews: Didn't spend much time here. Vistor center looked closed. I need research more and come back.
Ellis Smith: It's an better place to put my boat in. I can get to that hot spot I located last year.
Mark T: Stopped in for a hike of a now non-existent trail which was lots of fun and glad I did it in the winter as I ended up doing a lot of bush whacking.
Wrenchin Nerd: Came out to walk the confluence trail but the road to the trailhead was locked and with a 3 year old the extra mile that would have added made it impossible, pretty disappointed

Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center: what do users think?
Maureen Moore: I always enjoy Powder Valley. We made quick stop in the nature center where we watched turkeys outside, with one of the males strutting his stuff. We enjoyed a couple of the trails before heading home. Beautiful day.Restrooms: Nice restrooms in the nature center. There was also a building with restrooms at one of the trails heads. I didn't go in those but the building looked nice.Dog-friendliness: No dogs allowed.
Tracey Hinrichs: We had a fantastic field trip here! I've been several times with my kids before, but the staff really made this trip special! Peanut the turtle is always our favorite part :)
jeffrey girres: Incredible place!
Matt Alvino: The Conservation Center is awesome. Great exhibits for kids and adults. My 2.5 year old found endless entertainment running around looking and playing with stuff. The staff was also super friendly. Perfect spot to take a little one on a rainy day.Parking is usually ample, but can get tight on a busy day.
Ed Loeffelman: Excellent outdoor experience for the whole family.
Rhonda Cammann: I love walking all the trails and going inside the building and seeing all the critters.
Jason Weintraub: An EXCELLENT Nautre Conservation for education for the family and has great trails (some paved) to walk!
amit rane: It’s really good. My 2.5 year old completed Hickory Ridge Trail and it was her first time experience..
Kristen Hildebrand: The staff is nice and helpful
Ross Braun: Great hiking and nature center! Highly recommend!
Vito Sicola: Great place to bring little kids
Bill Florich: Wonderful trails to walk
Barb Vogel: I HADNT BEEN TO POWDER VALLEY FOR SEVERAL YRS. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED AT HOW RUN DOWN IT IS TODAY . THE WORKERS ARE COUTEOUS & HELPFUL BUT THE EXHIBITS & STATIONS AT THE BIRD FEEDERS WERENT NEARLY AS NICE AS IN THE PAST . IT WAS A SAD DAY FOR ME TO SEE EVEN THE WHEEL CHAIR TRAIL IN SUCH A POOR STATE . .
Peter Catalano: Great forested trails & helpful staff.
Jan Jones: I just stopped by to enjoy some of nature's beauty. A little chilly, and I wasn't dressed properly to walk the trails. I did find a sunny spot to take a picture, though.
Karl Kindt: Too much highway noise, but still a nice, close getaway.
Michael N Orilla Crider: We didn't take the trails because it was drizzling off and on, but the center was a great place to keep my son's attention for a couple hours looking at the interesting displays. I was grateful for the elevator that let him see everything from his wheelchair.
Lisa May: The employees were so helpful. My grandchildren had a great time!
Sarah Gruhn: They have an excellent indoor museum of sorts with tanks and aquariums with snakes, salamanders and fish. Lots of interactive, kid-friendly activities.Restrooms are nice and great walking paths outside. I just wish their outdoor pavilions had some good picnic tables for bringing a picnic lunch
Mobile in MO Michelle Vanlife Vaccaro: Always have a great experience. Staff are awesome, volunteers are awesome and good information and education.
Jimi Spolar: Today the longer section of trail was closed because of fallen trees and flooding, but this place is a beautiful soliloquy to any day of the year!
