Steven Wake: Legitimately my go to place I live way out in Wright City but when I broke my fly rod I went straight to this small business instead of the big box stores. These guys are a great group to talk to and share fun fishing stories while also buying top of the line gear. They even took the time to teach me some better casting tips as a relatively new fly fisherman it was greatly appreciated. Thanks for the new set up guys!

Ed JustEd: This is the best fly shop in Missouri. They're a small shop with a sometimes somewhat limited inventory, but the service and attention you'll receive at Hargrove's is second to none. The tying classes are a great time and very informative, the tying material prices are fair and the clientele are almost all so friendly and helpful. For the novice and salty old pro alike, there's something for everyone here.
Chris Huff: Going into a fly fishing specialty shop buying supplies to make crappie jigs I had anticipated some laughs and such but instead the guys were unbelievably helpful and offered a ton of knowledge on how to make them, materials, threads and more. Unreal how knowledgeable and passionate they are about fishing. Absolutely cannot beat the atmosphere, knowledge and passion they all have!

William Bartlebaugh: Visited Feather Craft Fly Fishing while traveling. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Not only did they have some hard to find fly tying materials, but they also pointed me to the best place to catch some fish in the few hours I had before my flight out of Saint Louis. Can't recommend this shop enough!

Matthew Barbee: I placed an order for a Fishpond backpack because the Feathercaft website said it was in stock and available when other stores had it listed as backordered. I called a week later when it didn't ship and asked what the reason for the delay was. They said it was backordered and would be available in a month. After 6 weeks and my product still had not shipped I cancelled my order. In the meantime I was able to get the same Fishpond backpack through Mad River Outfitters who initially had the item listed as backordered and notified me when it was available. That is the proper way to sell online. My experience with Feathercaft has been less than pleasant. Their sales staff are snooty and unapologetic for their companies mistakes. For honesty and genuine in person sales I suggest you drive down the street to T. Hargrove. For online sales you can't go wrong with Mad River Outfitters.

Michael J Arnold: The folks at GBFS are tops. Got a question about anything on their site ... shoot them an email and they respond very quickly. The prices are about the best around and everyone I've bought blanks for in my Rod-Building Classes over the last three years has been impressed with the fit and finish of everything bought here. Thumbs Up for GBFS!!
Paul Kim: I have bought more blanks from Get Bent than I would like to admit but their quality for price is hard to beat! So I end up buying blanks for a build that I won't even use much...but having the right rod for the situation, always make fishing more enjoyable. If you're looking for nicer rod blanks, go buy Sage blanks but be ready to spend $500+! Otherwise, buy from these guys and have just as much fun for much less $$$

Bassinman200: Ordered several fly blanks, one was wrong color but correct action and fly weight. I emailed the shop, told them about the mixup, they sent out another blank which I just received. It was correct and problem rectified in 3 days. Would recommend these folks to any ardent fly fisherman/rod builder. Good quality IM-8 blanks at a decent price, and good, quick turnaround time.
