Eddie Jackson: A place to go fishing if you want to catch turtles and fish and carp
Robbie Asbridge: They have alot to sell but they are expensive because it is privately owned. Have to get there after they stock it otherwise you wont catch nothing. Full of drum, turtles, gar and grass carp.

Richard Schmidtman: My biggest and main problem with this lake is that they close at 7:00pm and that’s a problem for me being that I primarily fish for cats...Spent two entire days out there first time in years caught one fish a day 2.5-3.3 catfish....I really had my hopes up there’s so much activity in the water but nothing bit for me.

Steven Wake: Legitimately my go to place I live way out in Wright City but when I broke my fly rod I went straight to this small business instead of the big box stores. These guys are a great group to talk to and share fun fishing stories while also buying top of the line gear. They even took the time to teach me some better casting tips as a relatively new fly fisherman it was greatly appreciated. Thanks for the new set up guys!
Edward “stlouiemo” Little: They have everything you need for fly fishing. Always very helpful and knowledgeable about river conditions and recommendations on what the trout are biting.
Dan Weiss: Wow, this is a wonderful fly shop, amazing selection and incredible staff. Everyone is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I had a lot of fun and learned trying out different rods with Mitch and Craig. This shop is as much a store as a community. I can’t wait to come back.

Ed JustEd: This is the best fly shop in Missouri. They're a small shop with a sometimes somewhat limited inventory, but the service and attention you'll receive at Hargrove's is second to none. The tying classes are a great time and very informative, the tying material prices are fair and the clientele are almost all so friendly and helpful. For the novice and salty old pro alike, there's something for everyone here.
Chris Huff: Going into a fly fishing specialty shop buying supplies to make crappie jigs I had anticipated some laughs and such but instead the guys were unbelievably helpful and offered a ton of knowledge on how to make them, materials, threads and more. Unreal how knowledgeable and passionate they are about fishing. Absolutely cannot beat the atmosphere, knowledge and passion they all have!

NOBUYUKI TASUDA: I found a baby turtle I my work van that had been abandoned, don't know how long it has been in there. I Googled Bait and Tackle and Ron's came up. I spoke to the son on the phone and he knew everything that secured my mind that I could save the baby. They were open at 7a.m. and I headed over. He gave me 2 options for the baby and I purchased the soft serve and he ate like he was at Pappadeaux's Restaurant.
