Museum of Contemporary Religious Art: what do users think?
Kelsey Schultz: MOCRA is a one-of-a-kind art museum found on SLU's campus. My sister and I visited on a Friday morning into early afternoon to view their Vicente Telles and Brandon Maldonado: Cuentos Nuevomexicanos and the permanent exhibitions. The pieces were very moving, the hall well-lit and partitioned, and the curator kind and informative.I'm eager to return for the next exhibit, whatever it will be. I believe they bring in new pieces each semester.Entrance is free, but a donation is recommended. Not sure what the solution to this is, but parking was difficult to navigate as the museum is on campus, not near any lots. We parked beside the Coronado and walked a quarter of a mile to reach the musuem, using Google Maps to guide our walk.

Seleka Behrs: Closed. No warning. Spent all afternoon trying to find it. Bah humbug.
Kai Anthony: Dim lighting lends to a sense of spiritual experience; exiting into the harsh sunlight felt like emerging into another world altogether. I do wish the exhibits were lit somewhat better themselves, however. A small space, though the balcony exhibits were closed, I went through in less than an hour.I found myself deeply moved by the visiting photography display by Tom Kiefer. Well worth checking out.I expected to find a greater diversity of religions represented, such as Judaism, Islam, and Hinduism. Not much other than Catholicism on display, but it is a small, free museum on a college campus and there's only so much they can afford.
William Gaston: Nice place to see
Guy Myers: Definitely an interesting place to stop and check out.
Alec Tardy: Very good staff
Kenny Nguyen: Free to visit and it's on the SLU campus. It's a double treat to visit both MOCRA and SLU.
Patrick Gallagher: Grand kids loved the visit
ravi sreedharan: Quite a unique place. Very rich history to the art and a great collection
Nah Tan: Amazing! A must see! Hidden gems!
Moe Sal: Check it out
greg atkinson: Loved this little place. My son and I are easily overwhelmed, but we could handle reading about almost all the pieces. Very interesting
Bridget Krabbe: Looking forward to going back!
robgc1 1: A very relaxing place the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable
Bill Martin: Small
Marcus Fryer: Incredible museum - small and well done. Great place to go pray. Check it out!
Kim Young: Small. Nothing very interesting.
Christopher Rincon: A knowledgeable staff and a powerful but small collection of contemporary art touching on the many facets of spirituality. How fitting that the site was originally a Jesuit chapel.

The gift shop has many options for souvenirs. Its just cool. Thats really the bottom line. Its the signature thing to do in St. Louis, it almost define the city itself! Its a must do. Jaw-dropping brilliant feet of engineering .From the thrilling views from the top of arc to the bottom and amazing stories, a visit to the Gateway Arch is an experience that never fails to inspire. From the thrilling views to the amazing stories, a visit to the Gateway Arch is an experience that never fails to inspire. Whether you have a few hours or a full day, you’ll find activities to please every member of your party. Attractions include the Tram Ride to the Top of the Gateway Arch, the Museum at the Gateway Arch (opened July 3, 2018), a documentary film about the construction of the Arch, shopping at The Arch Store, a new Arch Cafe, and cruises aboard the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch. Tickets sell out early and often - advance purchase strongly recommended. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Jyun-Syun Li: The cherry blossom is blooming now, go check it out!
Dudley Stegall: Closed to early
Grant Langbauer: Beautiful building- of course the view isn't bad either!
Kamikaze Drone Productions: Very interesting building, the shape it was built.
Leigh Damaske: Wonderful history. Nice place to visit. Make sure to check which days they run everything before toy go.
Heather Burchett: This museum was very well done and interesting for all ages.
Chris Smith: This place no longer exists. It is closed due to Covid and also, they moved the content to the Gateway Arch museum. I was really looking forward to the Lewis and Clark content, but that has been toned down and made more focused on St Louis being the hub of westward expansion. Also, I carry a pocket knife and pepper spray ( have a CCW but don't carry) and they wouldn't allow that at the Gateway Arch Museum. They said they can throw my stuff away or I can put it in my car, a mile away ($100 of stuff in the garbage, no thanks). The terrorists have won lol. What a pain. They should offer a storage option, charge $5 for a locker or something.
Jason Davis: This is a great free exhibit. But the most interesting thing is the building itself. Museum at the Arch has the same information better presented.
amanda rogers: Lots to see here, beautiful museum, the rotunda is gorgeous. Some videos and lots of information about Dred Scott and his wife and their fight for freedom.
Diane Church: Loved it! Lewis and Clark story is just the beginning of this museum.
Jeremy Genin: Top notch! Excellent spot to hear and learn about the history of St. Louis. Popular tourist spot!
Ashley H: My fiancé and I stopped here on the way home from a trip to check it out! Had a blast even though it was raining!
