Alex Zoller: Moved to Maplewood last May and I am so grateful we have a shop like this nearby. Everything is organized so well by publisher and alphabetically. It makes it very easy to find what you need, although someone has come up and greeted me every time I have come in to make sure I didn't need anything specific. Have be recommended so many great series. The staff is great you can tell they go the extra mile to make the shop fun and welcoming for us all. Strongly recommend for anyone looking for board games, comics, manga, mini figures, t-shirts, and even a section in the back for younger kids. Honestly, even if they don't have what you're looking for I bet it will be a great experience just going in. 👍

Bernie Dippolito: I have some old comics and was looking for some advice on value and if I should get them graded. They were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I also inquired about their Pokemon inventory and they have Pokemon games on Sunday in the store, a great spot to teach kids about the game.

Nubs: This place is has a lot of interesting items. Unusual Board games, some DND paraphernalia, and a good variety of comics- including some manga.

Seth Lindsey: Still feel like I'm getting my feet wet in the comics arena, and both this and the South County location do a great job of making things accessible in a non-Comic Book Guy sort of way. Titles are organized alphabetically by publisher, then title. There's more than just comics here as well, with board games, paints, figurines, dice, and a whole lot more. The clerks are friendly and full of advice, there also seem to be a lot of extra events going on as well, make sure to keep up with them on Facebook.

G: The store itself is clean, has lots of space, a decent amount of games to choose from, and the largest variety of minis I've seen at a local game store. Employees were extremely nice and helpful despite being busy. Other people in the store were welcoming to people looking to join for games. Their online calendar is accurate a vast majority of the time which is incredibly helpful. The billboard inside lets you see anything that's not on the calendar. Best game store I've been to, especially in terms of welcoming new people.

X Gemstone: This place was outrageously fun! Having everything from Sega to anime and videogames to an extensive magic card collection, it was as impressive as the building itself. Using an old bank was genius! The decorative ceiling and baseboards really added to the atmosphere.Addtional to their main space for league games, they host any type of game night you might want in a room off the back. A night costs only $20!

They have a large retro and modern video game selection with some pretty cool pieces and some more rare games. It also looked like they had a massive selection of Magic cards and plenty of space to play.Awesome building, nice selection of games, and very friendly staff. I'm glad I was swung in here to grab Monsters of the Multiverse, and I'm looking forward to going back.

Go in within the timeframe that they gave me and said that they already sold the game. Game was supposed to come with a preorder bonus, and they refused to give me the item although they did not have the game to give me. The store also refused to refund the amount on the preorder saying that I would need to transfer it to another game.Store manager claims to have no idea that any of this happened because he was out sick with COVID (and was in the store not wearing a mask.Store manager also sends me to the counter where the girl is not doing anything, the immediately intervenes because the customer he was working with left the store.This is not the experience I ever had with the old store manager, and the service in this store has gone downhill fast! I will not be doing preorders at this location again

After about a year I gave it another chance, and it's a breath of fresh air. The current staff is a group of passionate gamers that take their time with anyone that comes into the store. It's primarily an online retailer of games who competes and beats Amazon on price but the retail store has expanded greatly, including in-store specials and scratch and dent. There's often a reason to just drop in and see what's on shelf. The selection is much more than miniature gaming, there's a lot for CCG and LCG gamers (ie Magic, Pokemon and Netrunner) as well as for board gamers of many stripes.Miniature Market also supports the local gaming community by offering in-store events and supporting conventions like Geekway. For that I appreciate them and patronize their business.
