Alliance Francaise de St. Louis School: what do users think?
Ivy Ivy: Want to learn French as an adult or kid? This is the place.
Jan Zuke: Alliance Francaise is an international non-profit dedicated to the promotion of French language and culture. The Alliance in St. Louis is a very active branch. It offers classes and private tutoring at all levels in French language, as well as French cooking classes, movie nights, children's programs and summer camp, book clubs, and many other activities. A library of over 5000 items is available to members. Check out the website at alliancestl.org.
Hillary TheeSanchez: This is a good school where everyone is friendly .You take a 2 hour class per week and get some homework. There is also a library and they host events such as karaoke, learning tip presentations ect. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to learn french
Vince Haulotte: A very great place for the kids and adultes to learn French under the direction of Isabelle Heidberer. Madame Solange is great teacher for kids.
Elias Shedd: This is a difficult place to find but it's accessible through a hallway between Jilly's and a house of India. So park like you're going to one of these places and find the hallway or walkway that leads between the two buildings. You will see the American national flag hanging next to the French national flag. They have no posted hours so I would call before stopping by.

St. Louis Language Immersion School: what do users think?
Alexa Blythe: Went there when I was 5 in kindergarten I’m 17 in junior high-school they are truly the best school ever they have given me a gift I will forever appreciate
King G: It’s a really good experience, you can make so many connections at the school with students and teachers, some people might say how bad it is but once you graduate you will realize how great it actually was.
Nate Daugherty: Language learning is so important in the 21st century. SLLIS has wonderful, passionate, caring teachers that help the students thrive in a bilingual environment.
Denni Bee: This school I thought would have been a great experience for my child who was in prek in the south side program the worst choice I have ever made I do not recommend please don’t send your kids here.
Philip Hopper: The French Holiday program was magnificent. I usually post photos or videos with my posts. For the privacy of other students and faculty I will not be doing so.
Savannah Howard: Our family has subscribed to SLLIS for the past 11 years now. I am proud of the progress that they’ve made over the years!! I am a very proud parent of a SLLIS graduate, a SLLIS currently enrolled student and of a future SLLIS attendee!! Keep up the good work for our community and futures SLLIS!!
Yolanda Burgess: I just registered my daughter in that school. I think it will be a good fit for my daughter.
Jelahea Autoomp: This school told my kid that they couldn’t eat when they was loud don’t teach a lot of Spanish or any target language 👎🏾
Ti Whit: They dismissal procedures are horrible my daughters first day school I picked her up while waiting a bus from the school hit my car but no one cared the principal said since the bus was gone there was nothing she could do which was bull every day I come to pick my daughter up it’s a new procedure in place they really need to do better and no one has not even contacted me about my car it’s been two weeks
Phillip Powelson: Transportation is the worst. School gets over at 3:45 and is past 5:00 and my child is not even here. I been calling the person in charge of transportation and the front office and nobody answers. They should at least be more professional and send out communication, Letting parents know what's is going on.
Storm Maker3.o: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
garfruma: Critical:Communication,ProfessionalismThis school failed to teach me basic English and chinese, I have completely forgotten Chinese after only leaving for 2 years I am only now learning english because of my own hard work. Dont send your kids to the chinese district, they arent good at teaching.
Evolve Senshi: Critical:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueThis school is terrible do not sending your kids here unless you hate them this will only set your kids behind in life I went here and I can’t stop thinking about the mistreatment that I experienced as a child.
Matilde Flores: Es una muy buena escuela mi hija estudio desde?el kinder asta el octavo grado
Zim: It was a very fun school for me to go toI always loved the many languages that were spoken and I love to come back every year to preform for black history month😁😃
shya: Critical:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Ashley Robinson: I use to go hard for sllis. But they are starting to lack so many things. Diversity, academics and even the kids are not learning the target language as they should because they can't keep teachers. They are starting to combine multiple grades because of the decrease in enrollment. The kids can't be controlled half the time.. It is just failing all the way around. I'm glad I'm getting my baby out while she is still young and has time to catch up.
Sophia Foster: Myself and my children has had good experiences with this school when they first opened their doors back in 2011/2012. I have recommended this school to so many parents. My son has attended this school since KG, he's now in 7th grade and I must say it has really gone down. The straw that broke the camel's back was when my son unfortunately missed the bus leaving my mom to drop him off on her way to work. She has to be at work at 8am so she dropped him off at 7:20am - 7:30am. It was extremely cold outside 19° and the security guard refused to let my son in the warm building stating that the doors are not too be open until 8:15am. She then continued to watch my son through the clear front door of the school while she sat inside the heated building, until a teacher told the principal that a student had been sitting outside for sometime. This incident happened a couple months ago but the thought of my child going through that still makes me cringe and feels my heart with pain!!!
KJ SO COOL Kenley: I am a student and I love it#sllis1
Charles Landry: Great community of teachers with the student's best interest alway in mind. "It takes a village"
Giselle F.: We attend the Spanish School. In order to save money the school decreased their budget for school bus routes down to just 3 buses. For the entire school! That means your kid could be on a hot/ cold bus for over 1 1/2 hours. By the way, the school doesn't care. Use to be a good school but now not so much.

Global Village: what do users think?
Perrin Marchionne: I took private Italian lessons with Global Village and was able to pass an Italian competency exam after 10 months. I had never studied Italian, and my teacher was extremely knowledgeable, patient and very responsible, always making sure I was comprehending and developing new vocabulary and grammar skills each week. I recommend Global Village!
Vinh Nguyen: I normally don't write reviews but I felt like I had to based on the service I received. I have never been been more satisfied with the service provided, ease of use, and customer service that I have received than at this location. Every time I have walked into the office I have been greeted with a smile. Language classes are easy to schedule and the interpreters/teachers they provide are incredibly skilled and personable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for interpretations, looking to learn a new language, or even wanting more practice/a refresher in a language they may be rusty on.
sea of roses: Sketchy place. I called around 5 pm no response. I decided to go since here it says they close at 10 pm,got there a bit past 6 and It was closed. No hours posted on the door, nothing. From the start I'm kinda hesitant to believe they actually teach 50 languages like their website claims, even less now that I can't see or get a hold of them....
Frank Ashall: Global Village Language School in St Louis, MO, is a fantastic place to learn any language. I myself took Spanish lessons there and was amazed and impressed at the quality and speed of learning. They use only teachers who speak fluently (usually natively) the languages that are being taught, and all are experienced with teaching. I am impressed, too, at the fact that the school can find quickly teachers for pretty much any language, no matter how obscure it might seem. If you are interested in learning a foreign language fluently or even simply for travelling, Global Village is the place for you- you will not be disappointed!
Zen Price: I am an UMSL student studying Japanese and after much consideration I chose Global Village's services to help supplement my class materials. I must say that I definitely don't regret it. I spent dozens of hours with the staff and I still valued every minute of personal attention I received. Very professional, punctual, and polite people. Highly recommended. Best in Saint Louis!
T Jeddah Ksa2: i don't know if the SACM approves this school or not i requested guarantee before 6 months and they refused it

ELS Language Center and IELTS & TOEFL Testing Center - St. Louis: what do users think?
Hamza Kahloon: Is it ever going to open back up or has it been permanently closed?
نايف الشمري: The manager has asked us to write nice sentences even if we disagreed. The school and the teachers were not good enough. They care only about your money but not your education. Please don’t believe these sentences that other students wrote because they told us to write nice sentences about them. Also, the city is so dangerous. For sure, I don’t recommend it.👎(Poor Quality and expensive $)
河瀬道太郎: I transferred from els Nashville, and stayed only one session but I had a good memories. People in this school are very kind. Other els school might need a car to get around but St. Louis has a metro, Amtrak, and greyhound, which is also a good thing.
Adriana Gomes: Teachers and administrators here are very kind and helpful. You even can use University's resourses such as gym and library once you get student ID card. All kinds of resources such as English books and computer lab can help you improve your English skills. You will form your own ideas and learn from other classmates. Classmates who come from all over the world are really friendly and easygoing. It was my first experience with English for foreigners and I enjoyed!
MEIMEI SONG: Teachers here are very kind and helpful. If you have any question you can let them know and they will instruct you to figure out questions with patience. Accommodation here is comfortable. You even can use University's rescourses such as gym and library once you get student ID card. All kinds of resources such as English books and computer lab can help you improve your English skills. You will form your own ideas and learn from other classmates through brainstorm. You will familiar to how to give presentation. You will know what good speaking and writing structures are. Classmates who come from all over the world are really friendly and easygoing. I made a lot of friends here. Various of activities which interesting and meaningful will lead you know more about America. A special activity is Contact American that you don't need to sit in the class on Friday and you will go to different places of U.S. and talk with native speakers. You should definitely choose here without any hesitation.
Satya Asundi: I had a test in the ELS Center in October 12th 2019.The whole center was freezing. Because of the security measures unfortunately I took off my jacket all the rooms were literally very cold and I couldn’t focus on the listening section of my IELTS exam because of the extreme cold temperature in the room. I felt like complaining but just came out from the examination hall. Apart from that staff and everyone are really good in treating
Deepak Raj: It was a nice place in kind of hilly area along UMSL but there are no signposts of any sorts whatsoever to reach this destination

Tomonori Omachi: It is the best place to learn English! People in ELS are so kind. Without their helps, I could not have improved my English skills so much. Thank you!
Ibuki Shima: I had studied here for 8 months, and all of things i experienced were amazing!! Teachers are so kind, nice, and awesome so that i always feel safe and free to talk to them.
