St. Louis Language Immersion School: what do users think?
Alexa Blythe: Went there when I was 5 in kindergarten I’m 17 in junior high-school they are truly the best school ever they have given me a gift I will forever appreciate
King G: It’s a really good experience, you can make so many connections at the school with students and teachers, some people might say how bad it is but once you graduate you will realize how great it actually was.
Nate Daugherty: Language learning is so important in the 21st century. SLLIS has wonderful, passionate, caring teachers that help the students thrive in a bilingual environment.
Denni Bee: This school I thought would have been a great experience for my child who was in prek in the south side program the worst choice I have ever made I do not recommend please don’t send your kids here.
Philip Hopper: The French Holiday program was magnificent. I usually post photos or videos with my posts. For the privacy of other students and faculty I will not be doing so.
Savannah Howard: Our family has subscribed to SLLIS for the past 11 years now. I am proud of the progress that they’ve made over the years!! I am a very proud parent of a SLLIS graduate, a SLLIS currently enrolled student and of a future SLLIS attendee!! Keep up the good work for our community and futures SLLIS!!
Yolanda Burgess: I just registered my daughter in that school. I think it will be a good fit for my daughter.
Jelahea Autoomp: This school told my kid that they couldn’t eat when they was loud don’t teach a lot of Spanish or any target language 👎🏾
Ti Whit: They dismissal procedures are horrible my daughters first day school I picked her up while waiting a bus from the school hit my car but no one cared the principal said since the bus was gone there was nothing she could do which was bull every day I come to pick my daughter up it’s a new procedure in place they really need to do better and no one has not even contacted me about my car it’s been two weeks
Phillip Powelson: Transportation is the worst. School gets over at 3:45 and is past 5:00 and my child is not even here. I been calling the person in charge of transportation and the front office and nobody answers. They should at least be more professional and send out communication, Letting parents know what's is going on.

garfruma: Critical:Communication,ProfessionalismThis school failed to teach me basic English and chinese, I have completely forgotten Chinese after only leaving for 2 years I am only now learning english because of my own hard work. Dont send your kids to the chinese district, they arent good at teaching.
Evolve Senshi: Critical:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueThis school is terrible do not sending your kids here unless you hate them this will only set your kids behind in life I went here and I can’t stop thinking about the mistreatment that I experienced as a child.
Matilde Flores: Es una muy buena escuela mi hija estudio desde?el kinder asta el octavo grado

Ashley Robinson: I use to go hard for sllis. But they are starting to lack so many things. Diversity, academics and even the kids are not learning the target language as they should because they can't keep teachers. They are starting to combine multiple grades because of the decrease in enrollment. The kids can't be controlled half the time.. It is just failing all the way around. I'm glad I'm getting my baby out while she is still young and has time to catch up.
Sophia Foster: Myself and my children has had good experiences with this school when they first opened their doors back in 2011/2012. I have recommended this school to so many parents. My son has attended this school since KG, he's now in 7th grade and I must say it has really gone down. The straw that broke the camel's back was when my son unfortunately missed the bus leaving my mom to drop him off on her way to work. She has to be at work at 8am so she dropped him off at 7:20am - 7:30am. It was extremely cold outside 19° and the security guard refused to let my son in the warm building stating that the doors are not too be open until 8:15am. She then continued to watch my son through the clear front door of the school while she sat inside the heated building, until a teacher told the principal that a student had been sitting outside for sometime. This incident happened a couple months ago but the thought of my child going through that still makes me cringe and feels my heart with pain!!!
KJ SO COOL Kenley: I am a student and I love it#sllis1
Charles Landry: Great community of teachers with the student's best interest alway in mind. "It takes a village"
Giselle F.: We attend the Spanish School. In order to save money the school decreased their budget for school bus routes down to just 3 buses. For the entire school! That means your kid could be on a hot/ cold bus for over 1 1/2 hours. By the way, the school doesn't care. Use to be a good school but now not so much.
