Amanda Jeske: Savvi Formalwear was the only suit-rental option I could visit in-person in St. Louis that had a dark green suit. The suits turned out so lovely for my wedding. The groom was free with the rentals for the groomsmen. They provided suits, shoes, shirts, and ties upon pick-up. They had options on the day beforehand to exchange if any sizes were incorrect. The fit was great for all the groomsmen. Only hiccup was that my husband didn't end up getting a vest with his suit as requested, but that is probably his fault for not noticing when he picked up his suit.

Kendyl Schmidt: Cannot recommend Calla Lily enough! I went looking for a wedding dress but wanted something non-traditional. After showing some photos of dresses I liked from designers they carried, the owner and her daughter (I can't remember their names off the top of my head but they were fantastic!) were able to pull a few dresses that were on my list and a few that weren't on my radar. Unlike a lot of other places I have gone dress shopping at, they understood the vibe of what I was looking for and pulled really phenomenal gowns (honestly, I could have just closed my eyes and picked something at random and it would have been gorgeous and amazing).They asked questions and were incredibly helpful, and I was so thrilled and elated when I found "the" dress. It fits me both literally and figuratively, and I cannot wait to wear it! We had some great conversation during the check out process, not to mention the space itself is as beautiful as the selection. They gave me information to a few different places for alterations as well, and made sure the mention what types of alterations would be good/possible for the dress when I had it on. They were super patient and I really appreciated the time and care they took not only pulling dresses but giving some feedback and suggestions.I was also impressed with the selection/variety of gowns and size range.Never once did I feel like I was taking up too much time or that I wasn't as important as other customers just because I wasn't looking for a traditional wedding gown (which is how I felt at other places and what made me anxious to continue the search). The price point was also just right! I had such a wonderful and positive experience, and absolutely would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a formal gown or wedding dress.

Alex N: Read if you're thinking of going here!Rude rude lady. Came here on vacation to try and find a gown for my friend and this lady (who I later find out was part owner) was not helpful. Her tone was very rude from the beginning. During the time my friend was looking at dresses, she tells her, "don't stretch the dress out." My friend was literally just holding the dress open to see how wide it was, like any normal person. As soon as my friend finished trying on a dress and decided she didn't want it, we came to the lobby to discuss where we were about to go next, and the lady comes right behind us telling us we're about to close so y'all need to leave (not in a nice or professional manner). My friend asked, "y'all close at 5 right?" The lady responds back to us by saying we operate by appt only, y'all need to leave. So now that she is giving us straight attitude. I told her to give us a second. She repeated herself again, and tells us "goodbye" in like a leave tone of voice. So they literally kicked us out to the curb. We were standing there for 1 minute when she was trying to tell us to leave. Like you can't stand in a store for a few minutes. Mind you, there was no one else there, so we weren't tying her time up or anything. I would go somewhere else for your dresses. Plus she made it super clear, they don't do alterations. She has no idea where they do alterations. She has no idea where a mall is. So yes. Stay away from here. Horrible service. Wish I could tell your her name, but she refused to answer.As I'm writing this outside (because we were waiting on our Uber), a different lady comes out and asks me if I want a business card. I said sure. She was very confrontational. I asked her if the lady inside that kicked us out was the owner. She said they both are. So I was like well y'all have a funny of treating your customers. I told her the lady informed us that this was by appointment only a store, and that we were not aware of that. But nothing on their website says by appointment only. She said, "we prefer by appt only," so I said well that's different than kicking your customer out (after your let them look for a dress) and tell your customers that your by appt only... not preferably. I told her we're from out of town and just needed find a dress last minute so we did not know that, and that's no reason to treat your customers like that. She goes on to continue arguing with me and tell me, "well the other out of town people seem to know." You see where I'm going with this?? Like who argues with there customer and talks disrespectful to them? No business I go to. I wasn't going to stand there and argue with this rude person any longer, who was clearly not apologetic for the way her business partner treated us, so I tried waking away. She kept trying to argue as I was leaving and I told her to shut up. So she walked out of her business, propped the door, and began following me like she was going to fight me. I continued to walk away with my other friends as she was threatening me. I had to tell her I was going to call the cops, and she finally backed off.This is the worst experience I've ever had. A business owner verbally disrespectful, excusing her behavior instead of apologizing for it, and then following me out on the street to fight? If that isn't enough to steer you away from here, then good luck. You'll be in for a real... experience.

Angelica Chavez: Came in looking for a dress, with such a time crunch. First thing Older lady said was we “do not do alterations” I was ok that’s fine . She then asked me what I needed so I responded by saying a size 2 dress no color preference, just something that would fit within price range. She asked me price range and I said I didn’t really know just wanted to see if they had anything I liked that fit. After trying a dress size 2 I realized I had to go bigger so I started searching again this time I told her idk what size I supposed the next up from 2. I picked a dress to see how wide it was and she tells me “do not stretch the dress” I with an attitude, I said I’m not I am just trying to see how wide it is. After that I got fed up a said it’s ok thank you. While I waited for my friend to put on her shoe that was making her feet her. The older lady says “you need to leave, bye”, we told her we were just waiting for my friend she continue to said to leave and that they only operated by appt. Which I then said that is not what goggle says, friends and I had to leave and wait for our Uber outside the store. Terrible customer service, by the way what typo of formal store dress does not offer alterations.

ShaNae Walker: My niece and I went shopping for her prom dress at Calla Lily. They have a great selection, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about sizing, shipping, and alterations. It was overall a great experience. Although we didn't purchase from there, I would highly recommend it.

Chaquill Merriweather: Miriam and her staff were very rude. The lady who helped me had a nasty tone and would not let me try on anything but one dress. As a curvier woman 14/16, I am disappointed with how rude she was. I made an appointment to be helped and she did the complete opposite. I was not greeted upon entrance instead I was begrudged. She berated me stating I would rip her dresses. Every dress was "ooo you can't fit that ooo that dress does not come in your size" not knowing I had already looked up the dresses and designers before coming to the store. Everything was "oh that's sold out". I was so excited to continue to support and shop with Calla Lily as I have done before when buying my daughters' prom dresses. I will never patronize this business again and honestly they need some sort of training on how to work with customers.

The tux shirt was stained around the collar and wrists. 2 people's shoes had the soles FALL off right after the wedding! When we return the tux tomorrow, we expect they should refund a lot of the money for this poor, gross service!

Andrew Barnes: I got tuxedos here for my wedding. I can't recommend them enough. My service throughout was outstanding.The man who helped me, Ryan Schwomeyer, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I told him that I did not know much about tuxedos and asked him to give me a complete overview of my options. He did an excellent job explaining to me the difference between modern and traditional tuxedos, the different aesthetic concerns regarding shirt ruffles, button look, etc.Not only was the price completely fair (I know because I did a lot of price comparison around the area), but he also handled the work in an extremely timely manner. Stallone's website asks for a lead time of three weeks but if you have less than that ask for Ryan! I did not have less than three weeks myself but his offer to handle things in less time if needed was also very reassuring. In addition, my groomsmen were almost all from out of town and could not come in for measurements, but Ryan provided me with a complete list of what he needed and all of their tuxes were perfect when they arrived. Furthermore, Ryan was off/the store was closed the day before the wedding for July 4th when everyone arrived, but he assured me repeatedly that if anyone tried on their tuxedo and there was any problem to come back in on Saturday morning and he would take care of it. Ryan is a man with a wonderful attitude who takes fantastic care of customers, and I think you will be very happy if you get tuxes here.Finally, my dad left his iPad in the store by accident when we came to pick up the tuxes, and Ryan called me and my brother back within 10 minutes to tell us so we could come retrieve it.
