Gioia's Deli: what do users think?
Brian Yost: Gioia’s Deli is a staple on The Hill. Excellent sandwiches but be prepared to wait. Especially during lunch hours.
matt blunt: Sandwiches are outstanding! The hot salami is a great addition to everything. Helpful staff, great visit.
Austin Kennedy: Worth the price, high quality fresh ingredients. Bread was baked to perfection and the beef is to die for. Really anything you get you won't be disappointed. Staff is friendly, fast, and everyone was working hard to get the orders out fast and accurate.
Eric Traylor: The sandwiches are delicious there. The hot salami was fantastic again.
Adom Lee: Yeah, go ahead and make an order. We both know you're gonna...
LUTHER ARRINGTON: I’ll have to return and try something different from the menu before I give a review.
Sherman Williams: Just came in today and had the oven roasted Turkey with bacon, it was absolutely delicious, every sandwich I've had was delicious, the spicy Daggett, Hot Salami, Meatball and Turkey, Gioia's Deli is batting 1.000!!! 🥪
Laurie Koetting: Fast and Delicious!
Amber Thompson: Gioia’s is always a priority stop while visiting home! The staff is always so friendly and helpful, the store is clean and well organized, and the food taste’s like home 😍 Couldn’t ask for a better place to grab a bite! Plus you have beautiful Berra Park right across the street to sit down and enjoy the beautiful Hill 🇮🇹
latoya howard: Hot Salami with hot pepper cheese my favorite on cheese garlic bread fabulous
Alicia: Fast friendly and good food
Rachel Kendall: Loved it. Just as good as blues City deli and we've been there several times, but it's a bit further away from our hotel that we use when in town. This is super close. Delish food!
K Arlington Andrews: Love this spot. Wish I could get the name right. Always mispronounced when recommending. Larger sandwiches better $. Authentic Italian!!!
John Morris: The best Italian sandwich I’ve ever had. Amazing
Allison Huber: You have to try this place for lunch sometime - you won't be sorry.
Dr. Semite: Stale bread with skimpy meat portion on a $13 (plus tax) sandwich (spicy Daggett). First time I've been here since before the pandemic and I won't be going back - not like I remember AT ALL. Eovaldi's up the street waaaay better, never been disappointed.
Maddy Bear: This place is delicious! Big & delicious sandwiches! I love ordering the hot salami sandwich. The service and staff is awesome and sweet too. :)
Kyle Blankenship: Great food, and most of the staff was wonderful, except for the bearded guy who garnished and wrapped my sandwiches. He was negative and kinda rude, and probably shouldn't be someone that has to deal with customers. I watched him work with 10+ other customers and not once did he smile or have anything decent to say. Just kinda bummed me out. Otherwise a great experience and I highly recommend the food!
Rob K: Best sandwich I ever had.
Terry Anderson: The best sandwich they have is the hot salami and roast beef. 👍
Justin Whitney: Best sandwich shop around, hot salami or meatball on the garlic chessy bread is amazing!!!

Pickles Deli: what do users think?
Stephen Marling: Amazing variety. Delicious!
John Deeken: The Club sandwich on Wheat was very good. Several people received their food and were done eating that had ordered after me. 20 minutes is too long for a cold sandwich at lunchNever again
Pamela Adams: Love their food🥗
Jane Sauer: Best sandwiches anywhere! Everything is prime from ingredients to service. The turkey Ruben is my favorite.
Barry Bean: Best reuben sandwich in STL!
Billy Thielemann: We had an amazing Club sandwich and a great Gyro both with amazing service and a great price!
Jeff Plowman: The food was great, but the lobster bisk was very good. The help was nice and helpful in making we were satisfied
Mahmoud Chreidi: Poor food qualty
Chris Louridas: In a word, OUTSTANDING! Pastrami was perfect.
Joey R.: Fantastic sandwiches and pickles and the potato salad was excellent as well, both kids liked their grilled cheese too!
Emily Hsiang: Delicious Deli in Pickles. We had a lunch there. Although it takes a bit of time to wait, it’s worthy of our waiting. The Reuben we got is one of the best we have had from east coast, south to Midwest. House salad is not bad. It’s pleasant to have lunch there. 😊
Ryan Toher: Ordered the cheese steak sandwich and it’s so small. Not worth the price at all.
Deep Chatterjee: Amazing sandwiches for lunch. I like the Reuben, gyro, Mediterranean sandwich.
Tabitha Tinsman: The host was so noce and he explained each selection without prompting. Quick service, good tastes like it was made at home.
cydney cobb: Visited today for my 1st time. They were packed but dude at the register (long hair & beanie) was super cool. Took time to recommend items and was pleasant. THE LOBSTER BISQUE IS TOO DIE FOR!!!Will Def go back. Thanks for a great 1st experience
Brent B: Very friendly neighborhood deli. Very good service, wide range of sandwiches and tasty food.
Elsa Mazzucca: Best Cuban sandwich ever!! Very sweet stuff. I loved the expiernce.
Tie Hicks: Great food, however if your going during lunch rush give yourself time, there can be a wait…
Joy Mayo: Really good food! Wonderful old deli ambiance.
Daniel Barnes: Food was good as was the lobster bisque. Never did get my extra crackers though. Will go back.
Anita Kraemer: We used to love this Deli, but the past few times we’ve visited have been a disappointment. Every empty table was still dirty from previous customers, and the service was slow. We only hope it doesn’t continue this way

Pickles Deli: what do users think?
Calvin Nicholes: I had different sandwiches here at three different times and the worst by far was the Cuban. Have you ever tasted wet newspaper with mustard on it? Oh Oh I forgot it was a pickle on it. Don't Waste your money.
Amy Workman: Delish. Reuben, a make your own, the gyro, both potato salads, all fantastic. But I was most excited for the Route 11 chips! We visited their factory in Virginia and just the best chips from the nicest people. Try as many as you can, especially the dill pickle and the absolutely perfect BBQ.
Matthew Hulse: Great food! The balsamic spread on the Italian sub was to die for!
Ray Sipe: Great food and service!
afterparty: Got some dank sandies
Jesse Munson: In town for a conference and was there at lunch. Asked for Mayo on sandwich, didn’t get it. Counter staff was irate that I came up to ask for Mayo on the side. Soup of the day was cold. All I wanted was a good sandwich, instead I got staff with an attitude, an average sandwich, and bad soup.
Neil Davis: Very pleasant and kind people.
Lauren Ladd: Adorable sand-which shop. Great prices and food! Everyone was super friendly to.
Megan McKenzi Szpiszar: Freaking delicious. Parking sucks.
David Mercado: Just stopped in and had breakfast. I'm glad I did! Good food and fast service.
Tina Carpenter: Traveling through and thought the name was cute. My daughter loves pickles! So I didn't think twice when she said, "Let's go there!" Rueben was great! Highly recommend! Daughter did not like the PB & J. Not a huge lose. But I kinda wanted some pickle options to order!
Mike Gaudaur: Fabulous food. Interesting variety on the menu. Very welcoming and friendly.
Joel Charron: This place was the only positive experience in downtown St. Louis. Food was delicious and the staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. If you HAVE to go to St. Louis, stop by and grab a sandwich or breakfast. Highly recommend this place!
Mazdak Gorji: Great breakfast 🥞 just greatSuper kind staff
Doug Jellel: Our group walked in when store should have been closed, so thank you for your patience and letting us dine in. We’re from Ohio and Texas and just happened to be close by. The sandwiches were delicious ( Ruben, Pickle Club, Pastrami and Grilled Cheese ) and we were hungry. Thanks again.
Mike Lauritsen: Stayed at the Hyatt for a conference, ate here the first morning, then every morning after that. Astounding! The breakfast Ruben was out of this world. I ordered an extra the last day to take home. Each day I had something different and none disappointed.
Roberta McMath: Always the Best Meats, Breads, as well as atmosphere and service.
Richard Favazza: Quality on par with Subway, but at a 50% higher price and 50% smaller size.
Dave Underwood: Great place to grab a sandwich or salad! Good location and always quick
Kevin St. John: Super nice selection of sandwiches. Good quality ingredients. Very hospitable staff. We had the Corned Beef Rueben and the Cuban sandwiches and loved them.
Nathaniel Thomas: Good Atmosphere Good Food.

Mom's Deli: what do users think?
Sean Morelan: Prices up, quality down
Larry: Line was long today but the service is great and the food is delicious
Christopher Dunn: Went to Moms Deli for some lunch for my first time and let me tell ya…it is most certainly going to be my last.Rude and hostile staff who acted like I was a burden for even being in the place and the food was awful. I ordered a pulled pork sub and if I knew it was gonna be some Kraft cheese with sloppy mystery meat microwaved between two soggy buns I would have just stayed home and enjoyed my own trash cooking. I got my sandwich and it was freezing cold still! I don’t know what it is but apparently the staff HATES making pulled pork and will openly talk badly about you ordering that right in front of you so be aware of that. Also: they were talking badly about a woman who had just ordered and left the place.I see the potential for this place and I’m sure it has been amazing before being as it’s a St.Louis landmark but it’s a shame to see the people working there not putting the care into what that place deserves.
Robert Abraham: Moms is the best deli in St Louis. Go see Mom for a sandwich that will kiss your belly.
John H.: Top notch local sub spot. The Mom’s Special is the way to go and if you come around lunch time on the weekend be ready to wait a few minutes in line. Absolutely worth it, but this place is popular among us locals.
Kevin Gunn: Great sandwiches. Fast and friendly service
Jerry Perks: Fantastic!
Derek Scott: So good. A buddy recommended it, so I had to try it. I got the mom's special, and I am definitely going back....try it folks
BreakingRigsby Stl: Love this place, always quick for lunch and never at the sacrifice of quality. Its a St.louis tradition and if you dont know, you need to go
Mike Hoelscher: Great Sandwiches!
Abigail Bold: Always having issues with this place since the passing of mom. Call in orders and the crew told us the sandwich would be done in twenty, show up twenty minutes after phone call and they won’t let us have the sandwiches cause we are late. That I understand but why can’t the kids tell us the store closes in 15 minutes, but you can come in 20. Makes no sense. Definitely need some adults to work there, rather than only children.
Lisa Diamond: Love the sandwiches. Always clean inside and nice workers and food is so delicious
George Paddock: Mom's special, cold!
Christopher Tobey: This was my first experience at Mom’s Deli and will likely be my last. This place is Extremely unorganized and unprofessional. Employees were rude and seemed to not know how to do their jobs. I was asks 3 separate times what my order was (I got a meatball sub very simple). There seemed be no one in charge and employee messing around.
Becca Marti: really good
David Fox: I love Mom's deli I've grown up right down the street and eating there my entire life and it is always just as good as the first time you will have it I highly recommend the mom special
T S: I drove 30 mins to pick up a sandwich for a client of mine, I do this for her once a month. Needless to say I got home and it was nothing that I ordered. It’s a shame the help doesn’t listen. I called, and nothing could be done unless I drove back there. Also It was not during lunch rush.If it was for me it would be NBD, but my 85 year old client was so looking forward to her lunch
Mark Hutchison: Excellent lunch, good sandwich, salami was so good, the bread was so delicious. The service was super fast for the lunch time. Very courteous good value
Jackie Ferry: Always get the moms special and I'm never disappointed
Justin Rubin: 🐐
Jacob Ottinger: Great sandwiches. Quick and easy. Poor boy or moms special.

Nicholas Vivio: Discovered this gem a few weeks ago and we've already been back several times. Lox and cream cheese bagel is the best I have had in St Louis. All sandwiches I've had have been excellent. But perhaps the best thing about this pace are the people that work there/family that owns it. Super nice folks that deservedly take pride in their shop and products they offer.
joseph: Great food. The bagel was excellent as well as the matzo ball soup.
Emily Sheehan: A+ deli. Everything is amazing
Sophia Collins: I absolutely love this place. Been going here for over a year now and I love love LOVE the family who works there. They are so nice and I love to it busy. Their food is always great and as long as I'm in STL ima visit here!
Dennis Matl: Amazing to visit a proper Jewish deli. Great selection of kosher items. Chopped liver was awesome, Not to sweet. Lox were beautiful, tender but with enough bite to stay on the bagel. Can't wait to get home and try the rest of the treats we bought.Back after 4 months and it's as great as ever. Staff is super friendly and I live to see their interactions with this regulars
Charles Wells: Jewish Delli, great pastrami
Scott Harris: I have been going here for 45 years. Great food, great service.
