My son hates confetti but loves the white cake with buttercream icing. Before ordering I called and asked could I request the confetti cake without the confetti. The baker informed me I could. I let the baker know my name and let her know I was submitting my order. She informed me to write in the notes my request. I submitted my order and wrote "confetti on the side". I go to pick up my cake today and there was confetti all over the cake. Birthday cake ruined 😒!! I pulled the recipe request next to the cake and my request was highlighted. So upset. Please pay special attention to request especially if it's a child's birthday.

The parent contacted the bakery and placed an order and arranged for delivery, and then the bakery cancelled at the last minute and did not contact the parent. I will not recommend them again.

If you're craving cupcakes, I'd recommend other cupcake bakeries in STL like The Cup or Jilly's Cupcake Bar instead.I've never been to The Sweet Divine before, but I asked the person working the cashier what they would recommend and settled on two different flavors: the chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake and the Drunken Pig. I chose the Drunken Pig because it had won on the show Cupcake Wars, and I chose the chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake because the person working the cashier said it was their most popular cupcake.While I do commend The Sweet Divine for creating such a unique cupcake flavor in the Drunken Pig, I think it was a little underwhelming given that it was a winning cupcake on the Cupcake Wars. But all things considered, I would give this individual cupcake 3.5/5 stars. The texture of what I presume to be the sharp cheddar was a nice touch in the cupcake base, but the cupcake wasn't very moist and I thought the buttercream had too neutral of a flavor profile.The chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake was the definition of "meh". This cupcake was also slightly overcooked or was maybe made the day before and refrigerated overnight which caused it to dry out? There was honestly just nothing unique about this cupcake. It was obviously better than a cupcake that you'd get from somewhere like Walmart, but in terms of products from bakeries it didn't have any properties which made it unique or special.I had a chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake from The Cup less than two weeks ago, and it was better in almost every aspect than the chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake I had from The Sweet Divine today. I even walked down the street right after eating this cupcake to Protagonist Cafe and tried three of their pastries (cinnamon roll, samoa cookie, orange glazed scone) and thought that the cinnamon roll and orange glazed scone were considerably better than what I had at The Sweet Divine. Overall, I would give the chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake 3/5 stars. Not great, not terrible.

Andrea Schmid: Where do I even begin? When my husband and I were planning our wedding we struggled with cake. He apparently despises cake and would prefer brownies in stead. I chuckled at the idea of nixing a cake and offered to find an alternative that we both absolutely adored: pavlova. Pavlova is delicate meringue with cream and some sort of fruit. I had a vision of incorporating this dessert as a topper to a tiered funfetti cake and serving mini pavlovas for those interested in trying. This was not an easy find in St. Louis until I chatted with Sweet Divine. They were immediately on board and worked with us to not only create the cake of our dreams but incorporate our florals which featured figs and other seasonal fruits. Sweet Divine baked up the most scrumptious desserts and it looked amazing. Out of all of our wedding photos, a picture of the cake is my phone background. Aside from the deliciousness and gorgeous design, this bakery was organized from start to finish, easy to work with, very communicative and reasonable in price.

They created exactly what I wanted when EVERY other bakery told me no. I understand people are having supply chain issues right now, but the Sweet Divine found a way to make me my rose and lavender flavored macaroons when no one else would. Also, I am on a no sugar diet to help with my autoimmune disease and neuropathy. The Sweet Divine made me a ketogenic cake and it didn’t cost a fortune. It was SO GOOD. I recommend The Sweet Divine to everyone out there, not just people having weddings. They made me any flavor of macaroon that I wanted and didn’t ever tell me no when I sent my ideas. This bakery, and more importantly the people in it, are truly amazing. I’ll try to add pictures when I get them back from my photographer!

0: The first time I went to Jilly's it was all good. I got one cupcake which was delicious it was the chocolate thunder, and a $13.50 sandwich. The club Jilly chicken. The first time I got the chicken sandwich it was absolutely delicious and worth the money the bread was toasted the cheese was melted the sandwich was warm and everything I could have ever wanted in a sandwich. The second time I went it was the worst sandwich I've ever had and I could have made one better; the sandwich was cold the bread was not toasted everything came straight from the fridge and was slapped together and wrapped up and handed to me. It was almost inedible because of how cold it was and I couldn't bite through it. I wouldn't mind if that's how I always got the sandwich, but I can't stand inconsistencies so for that reason I probably won't go back to Jilly's. If someone's going to pay that much for a sandwich it'd better be right every time.

I brought our 9-year-old daughter and Sherrone was so patient and kind in showing her all of the techniques that she wanted to try on the cake she was decorating. Our daughter was able to learn how to make the icing look tie-dye, created a chocolate drip topping, and made flowers on the top! They have hundreds of toppings to choose from, including candy, sprinkles, cookies, and more! It was such a unique and uplifting experience, and I would recommend it for kids or adults who are looking for a fun day! We will definitely be back!

This day meant a lot to me, so I'm very disappointed I didn't even have an opportunity.I went a couple years ago for a macaron and it was disappointing. Great variety of flavors offered, but the technical execution is poor. The texture isn't what a true macaron should be. Their croissants weren't well-executed from a technical baking standpoint either, which I could tell just by visual appearance.

Even though I’m generally not a big tart fan, I got it as the cashier recommended it and I would also definitely recommend it to anyone who goes there.The tiramisu brownie was very good, but my only complaint is that I didn’t really taste the undertones of coffee or mascarpone cheese that you would typically taste in tiramisu. The white layer seemed to taste more like cream cheese as if this was a chocolate cheesecake brownie instead. But even with the flavor profile that was different than what I expected, this brownie was still excellent.The lemon croissant was easily the least impressive pastry I ate here. It was relatively bland compared to the other two things, and the croissant was a tad dry. The filling wasn’t very sweet and only had a slight taste of lemon to it. I wouldn’t recommend it as I didn’t think it was worth the calories.

Deep Chatterjee: It was my first visit. Pastries and other sweets are unique and great to taste. We brought some stuff for later. The ambiance of the place is also great. We went right when they opened and were there for a couple of hours, and I noticed they sell out quickly. So you have to be early.

Don't understand how someone can fall that low and lie and owe people money.The review before me where she is stating that people are fake accusing her ? well here is a judge order from small claims against her that she did not pay her bill and her rap-sheet is long. People are not wrong Nichol, you are. Shame on you that you treat others like that.Have a wonderful day !!

Antonia Bartley: I’m not impressed…. I paid $125 for a smash cake and 10 inch round cake for my son’s 1st birthday. I wanted them to look like baseballs. The cake was frosted unevenly and red fondant was used to replicate the stitching on a baseball. The lady I spoke with didn’t say anything about using fondant (I would’ve asked her not to as my family doesn’t like it). The fondant looked terrible on the cake. The lines were uneven and it looked like it had been shaped and rolled by hand. The containers that the cakes were placed in were too small and the sides of the cakes rubbed and smeared icing on them. The cakes themselves were over baked, very crumbly, and dry. I almost thought she gave me the wrong flavored cake as the outside was almost super brown. The confetti cake flavor was bland. It seemed like a rushed job and I order this cake 2 weeks ago. I’m just overall upset with the quality that I got from the bakery after looking at the reviews.

Erica Crenshaw: On 12/3/2022 I had did a vendor event here they had no heat or lights in the building the owner left and said that Ameren would be arriving no one showed up . Later that day I became very ill. It was very unprofessional to have an event like that and not refund the vendors back there money due to theconditions

Katie Charleville: I put in an order for 40 cupcakes for a baby shower. Nichol responded within hours and confirmed the flavors and icing colors. When I picked them up they were so pretty and well boxed for transport. They were a hit at the baby shower! Nichol was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely order from her again!

T Jaxs: If I could not leave a star I wouldn’t. We ordered a 3 layer cake and there were only 2. The decor did not go all the way around the cake. Her “Excuse” was, “I just put the cake together when I got to the venue and it hadn’t set.” She takes no accountability for her screw ups and just blames everyone else working w/her. The cake was falling apart. Instead of her fixing it, she left. We were left trying to salvage her mess up. 0 out of 10. Do not recommend. Horrible business woman and professional thief. She will take your money and never deliver what was ordered.

Torlisa Nash: Nichol ruined my brides wedding. She did not deliver my brides wedding cake and cupcakes that she was paid in advance. For over 7 hours and up until 10pm Nichol told lie after lie and made excuse after excuse about the cake being on the way . Nichol nor her son never showed up with the cake. Nichol has not issued a refund nor made any attempts to contact me or the bride to make arrangements for a refund, to issue a formal apology or anything else. Nichol has simply disregarded the fact that she was paid to provide a service that she did not deliver on. The la k of communication and no refund to date is just disheartening. I had to send someone to purchase cake and cupcakes from a local store to try to make up for Nichol’s default of service and unprofessional Ian.

Aciedra Caldwell: EXCELLENT service! Very professional! The owner is everything! She goes over and beyond to make her customers happy! I held and event for CeCe's Private Pieces at the venue and she was so helpful. The process was smooth. The best I've had yet! I'll definitely be doing more business soon!

nicole johnson: Nikki Gordon is awesome and her mother. Cake Snobs gave cupcakes free for my birthday Feb 10,2022 and I'm for ever over joyed. Because I was trying to get out there to see how finally all her dreams and hard hustle has came to life. Congratulations Nikki Gordon and her mother I'm wish more success and more stores in other city to come.

Tracey Coleman: Disappointed beyond words. I ordered and paid for a cake a month in advance of the pickup. I followed up with owner 12 days before the pickup date to ensure the cake details were remembered. She confirmed she had the order details.Pick up date, the business was closed during normal business hours.The owner would not answer my calls or text messages. After an hour of stalking her business the doors were opened and the cake was the biggest disappointment.She literally printed images and words from a Dot Matrix Printer and attached the paper printout to the cake with dab of frosting. I am deeply dismayed and will NEVER support this business again.

Chantel Thomas Cooper: So to start off it’s the cutest little store! And she has her kids helping so a black owned family business is always a plus! But to go on I ordered a cake for my 30th birthday it was supposed to be ready on a Wednesday but I’m assuming she got the dates mixed up and the cake was ready on Monday so my cake had to sit while I was outta town. When I got the cake as you can see in the pictures it was kinda smushed in the clear wrapping my name plate was melting in the cake. The picture I showed her had multiple colors of pink and I did not have that on top of as you can see in the pictures the layers were uneven. When I messaged her about the layers she said it was fresh Carmel that made it slide but in my opinion they weren’t the same size all the way around I was never offered a refund of any kind an apology for the way the cake looked nothing. Maybe I shouldn’t have ordered a layered Carmel cake but I was not happy. On top of I kept asking for a receipt and was never provided one.
