ABBIE HARRIS: I left an irreplaceable piece of leather clothing here to be cleaned and it was stolen from their property. After being strung along for over a month I was offered a meager compensation. When I went into collect the check the owner chose to be very rude and unapologetic which highlighted her lack of accountability.Their website pops up first on a Google search as the number one place to take your precious leather goods to be cleaned but they provide no secure storage.Your items are left to chance. Selected this cleaners over others based on my fellow Googlers’ and their extensive insight and knowledge (thanks Squad)!Upon entering I was greeted quickly and with a smile. After getting my 10 plus pieces out of my bag, I was quickly told that it would be $6.25 to wash 👕 polos; and an additional $1 if I wanted them back next day. (If this would have been the extent of my exchange here; I would have given this place 1 start).Mind you I walked into this establishment around 7:45 AM on a Friday morning. Most cleaners that I have ever been to, if you bring a shirt in by 10:00 AM, getting the garment back next day is a non- issue not for this place, so, I left my dress shirts and took my polos elsewhere.Getting to the point here, even after all that, once I returned next day for my dress shirts, the lady not only remember my name after only meeting here once the day prior, she had my shirts up front waiting for me. Wow - talk about customer service. That exchange in itself will push me to come back here, not to mention the job they did on my shirts (if I wear the shirts and I identify something wrong I will update).PS - I also love the love of Jesus displayed here, not that it has anything to do with the work they do as cleaners.Well done!Cheers,

J Ball: I put 3 blazers in this cleaners. They charged me 20.85 for the cleaning and 5.00 for buttons? I was not aware of a button charge. The chinese lady made mo mention of this button charge. I did not see the charge until pick up and questioned same clerk about it. She said she told me about it and I know she did not. I could have removed my own buttons and resowed them myself. There are no signs up about this button charge. Speedy cleaners stole $5 from me. I even asked her would she waive the $5 and she said no. This is a cheating cleaners.

Michael Roberts: CWE Cleaners does a consistently quality job. However, the price they charge for dry cleaning is extremely high—$6.50 for a short-sleeve shirt, same for a pair of cotton shorts. This is double the price compared with top dry cleaners in Chicago, a much bigger city. The proprietor told me that St. Louis prices are higher because people in St. Louis don’t do as much dry cleaning as people do in Chicago thus making it a more rare (and therefore expensive) commodity here. What??
Aiden Quinn: Great service. I am from out of town and the hotel I was staying at wasn't able to do laundry service due to COVID. Extremely upsetting given that other less urban hotels have been.As an essential traveler for work (during a pandemic) clean clothes is a must! Olive Sam: Charged me $32 to hem my dress. He literally only folded half an inch of the dress and sewed the hem.. never again. Was extremely rude when I tried to ask how much he would charge saying he was "cheap". Mind you he will not tell you how much he is going to charge until after the fact. My sister suggested him to me since a year ago he had done alterations for her and had only charged her 15 dollars.
Crystol Brown: Took a sweater of my husband’s here to be cleaned. I go to pick it up and there are red stains all over the sweater. The proprietor acted like they were there already. I explained that they weren’t and he stated that they will try to re clean it but it looks like red paint or ink all over the sweater. If you care about your items be careful... your item may be ruined like mine.I will update this review when I go back to pick up the sweater after the “re clean”.Update: Went back to get the sweater and most of the stains are gone but there are still some there. I told the owner that there are still red stains on my sweater but all he keeps saying is "We did our best" they did their best to clean stains that they created.Don't go here if you value your clothing or money. The owner was very rude and started to yell when customers came in and I kept pointing out the stains. Guess he doesn't want anyone to know. Again...DON'T GO HERE! Find somewhere else or you'll end up with permanent stains on your items.Update: I reported this business to the better business bureau and they tried to deny everything. They made up that I told them the stains were there when I dropped them off. The sweater was only worn once... I brought it to this place to have it cleaned so I wouldn’t mess it up trying to wash it but they did that job for me. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ITEMS HERE!!!!!!!
Jay Carter: Picking up dry cleaning today and it is raining big time when I get ready to leave. The owner pulls out an umbrella and walks with me to my truck (1/2 Block) to keep me from getting wet. He holds the umbrella while hang dry cleaning then walks me and holds umbrella while I get in. WOW! How great is that. That is great customer service!!

Kelly Mcbride: Went and dropped off my coat that my husband bought for me to have it cleaned and altered. I chose this establishment based on the many 5 star ratings, and their reasonable prices for altering. When I went to pick up my coat the wrong belt was with it, and I pointed it out. He acted as if he couldn't be bothered with something like this, and it wasn't a big deal. This was a gift from my husband with an obvious incorrect piece that was lost by this establishment and the proprietor couldn't have cared less. He did reimburse me for the cleaning, and the price of the jacket but the lack of care that it was lost in the first place is what is causing the 1 star. I have a security badge for my job and when I tried to call to see if I had left it there he acted as if he could no longer understand anything that I said and hung up on me. I will not be going back to this place.
Amelia Sotnyk: I had a chiffon bridesmaid dress altered here, and they did a beautiful job! They only charged $35 (other places quoted me $75-100 minimum), and it was ready for pickup in less than a week! I’ll be taking all my alterations here from now on!
Luigi Ferguson: Great place to get pants altered. Cheaper than most places and a lot faster.
Brian Hegamyer: Used them for several years and never had a problem. Very reasonable turnaround and good prices. Has always done a good job.

Kellie Wint: I brought in two long wool coats to be dry cleaned, one of them had dried gravy spilled on the front and both were dusty and dirty from being in my car truck for months. He charged me $15.50 for each and made it clear that the dirtier one would take longer to clean. Other than that, very easy and charged less than half the price ($40) of other cleaners in my area.
