Anyways, I called and asked for information about reporting a domestic disturbance from out of state. I told him that I was on the phone and heard the door being broken and details if the assault. This man responded coldly, "Well maybe you should have asked the address before this happened". I am sickened by the lack of care these man portrayed in such a sensitive situation. Extremely unprofessional as were the choice words I gave him at the end of the call. Nonetheless, this man that answered to give information @ 108pm, did just the opposite.

Jay E: I was calling in regard to a death and locating the loved one personal belongings. I originally spoke with this police department when the accident happen. So I thought that is who I suppose to call back. For them to be so rude and disrespectful when another human being is dealing with a situation like this is totally disgusting. I see if this was a first time type of thing but this same situation happen with my sister passing earlier this year. This is completely unacceptable. The police department need to re think who they are allowing to be a receptionist/answer calls. No one deserves to be treated poorly when dealing with a death of a love one. Something as simple as trying to get there belongings back should not be so heart breaking during a difficult time.

Sadia Khalil: My car was vandalised with an attempted theft today at parking lot of super 8 by Wyndham in 6200 north broadway, saint Louis . I called three times to report at their emergency number . The first time the officer said we will send someone, then second time they will call be back and third time the officer said, do what you do but we can’t come. Nobody has called me since then and I have driven back to IL with a broken window. My family, specially the kid was terrified with all shattered glasses on car seat. Horrible experience, and very disappointed. I found another officer in a gas store who temporary put a plastic back on window but still didn’t file a report.

Emily Harwell: Called to ask a general question of whether someone in our zip code was 'at large' or if there was anything we needed to be concerned about after witnessing a HEAVY police/tactical unit presence near our clinic's building that morning... She literally goes "so you want what?" I had to explain to her my reason for calling FOUR times with long pauses as if she wasn't there before getting a response. Please stop scrolling instagram for five minutes, ma'am. Eventually she just said "I don't know about that stuff". I asked to speak to someone that did and she said "well we haven't heard anything from that area so no one will be helpful to talk to". Great. Super helpful.

crystal isaac: If i could give them 0 stars i would. I caught a flat tire and pulled into the police station because i thought it would be a safe place. About 15 minutes go by and two rude officers pulled up and told me to get off the lot now and i had to move my car. I told them politely that i had a flat tire and i was waiting on road side assiatance. He stated again that i had to get off the lot right that minutue. This is the worst experience ive had with any police officer! These people are pure evil and don't care at all about trying to keep people safe. I pay taxes to missouri and i cant even sit at a police station and change a tire. Pathetic

Mia Powell: I asked to have some officers to patrol the area to keep down drug traffic and idiots drag racing up and down the streets I was told by Officer Dyson, " there is not enough officers to patrol the Mark Twain area because of a shortage of officers, and the officers in the area were to busy with more serious crime to respond to 911 calls about these annoying crimes that the bad actors would be gone by the time officers arrived." This is a sad excuse because South Patrol has a nice size war chest and a flotilla of officers to fight the war on crime on the Southside of St.Louis. Are we not as important?

Tonight, Officer Jim Barry stopped to make a purchase from my 6 year old daughter who was selling her art at the curb. He was engaging and kind. My daughter, Cora, is so excited to tell everyone that a police officer stopped and purchased a piece of her art. She wants to call her mother—who is in Sweden at the moment—to share. My main problem stems from how money hungry these people are. They’re never able to help you only take from you. The security office here feels sleazy.

Exodus 2017: I had my property confiscated from the police while I was at school not only that but they took my machine and my phone when I needed them the most so for 2 weeks from ending my semester they made my life hell for my finals and my projects. Not only that but the detective in charge of my case was keeping in contact with me and for some reason she just stopped. she stopped answering my calls and my emails its been about 7 months since I have heard from her or anyone else about my case. so in the mean time I had to purchase a new computer and a new phone for school. I have yet to hear an update on my items. Very unsatisfied you scare me and then you ghost me holding onto my property in a vault ignoring my crys for help. There is plenty more i can go on about but it defeats the point, and they wonder why we don't trust them.

Rachel Hicks: Everyone has bad experiences with the police one way or another. It happens, but who is perfect? God only knows all, sees all and hears all. I had negative experience and injustice was placed in my life. But, just so happened Jesus had changed my heart, heard my prayer, gave me new perspective and even used 1 of the many officers who came into my life as a reason for spiritual change on my own. To where I was suddenly aware I was taught wrong in my church, and through the cop, the holy spirit started giving me bible scriptures and teaching me himself, which I missed out on 20 years of my life sitting in Church. I can't give thanks to that cop for banning me from church and those who told me to stay away from that place, enough. It used to hurt, but it's now what Jesus has done for me through that mess, because it turned into a 4,000 word/7 page sermon from Jesus. It was certainly through police that changed my perspective and enlightened my life. I have much gratitude and respect for the police no matter what. JESUS!

Dispatch needs retraining- rude and Unprofessional! claim to have patrols in areas of nightly shootings but as resident who works a variety of shifts has seen police presence once in the neighborhood in 6 years parked to give tickets to those rolling through stop sign off Vale. Policing the area so well it happens during day and night at least 3-4 times a week. Coming from law enforcement family from a real city- Chicago- have nothing but respect for the job but encounters with dispatch and officers from this department seems like staffed by unprofessional clowns!

They told my parents to have me call, when I called nobody could provide me with any information as to why they went to my parents house. So, after about 10 minutes of waiting I finally rung the bell as hard and long as I could while they were sitting and staring at me like I did something wrong. I mean I walked in for a reason not just to be stared at. A black guy with tattoos came to the side door and asked me “what do you need”? Lol not how can I help you? I told him that I needed to file a police report for fraud.He failed to listen to my story and told me that first I need my bank statements??????????????????? The PO that Is doing the investigation never asked for bank statements because I have other significant information that I had with me. The P.O. told me to come to this location just for the report so that it’s on file. Long story short people come to you for help and not to be dismissed. Just lazy and ignorant. You want people to trust and respect police officers but for what. All you guys do is ride around in your police cars harassing people and sit behind glass windows telling people that you can’t help them. Good luck world
Hiyello1 Gal: Today, I got yelled at because I moved my car out from behind an officer pushing a Dodge ran driven by a caucasian male. I being of agrican descent was accused of not being patient when that was not the case. I wish the officer would have just pulled me over so that I may have informed him that I simply pulled around to avoid them rolling into my car. I used to defend the police but I see more and more that these officers are rude and belligerent and have no respect for others. I apologize to this officer for goving the wrong impression, but had he not been so rude and tactless, he wouldve realized how ignorant he reacted. I will definately be making a complaint whether heard or not to the mayor/governor along with the dept . All I could see on his car SS18...he yelled so loudly that I heard him through music , heat and windows rolled up. Be safe out there people.

eric dixon: Visited the sub station today due to an accident that happened on the 14th of February. Spoke with an officer that handles inquiries at the window. Gave her the necessary information as was told to go to Clayton to obtain a copy of the accident report. Drove to Clayton and was told that it would take 10 days to generate a report. So, naturally I asked if the officer in North County could have given me this information and of course she could have. I am so frustrated right now!! I think its ridiculous that you have to wait 10 days for a report. Secondly , it was lazy and irresponsible for the first officers to send me all the way out to Clayton. Show some integrity and genuine concerns for the people!!! Shame on you lazy person. You just added yet another blemish on a lengthy list of negative perception the public have for the police department.... Good job!!
