Geraldine Germain: They offer free monogramming so you cannot return the bag or exchange it under any circumstances. Very unfortunate because I'm now stuck with an overpriced, $300 bag that I cannot use. This is not a policy their competitors hold... i'll be using one of them for my next purchase.

sbusselman: A great discovery in West County Mall.You’ve probably been to one of two types of luggage stores, those where you’re pretty confident that some if not all of the inventory is suspect/likely fell off a truck, not the real deal, or those you know you’re going to pay excessive markup above what you would pay online for their retail space or the commission they are paying their sales team.Not the case at all with Riviera Leather & Luggage. Great brands, huge selection, and competitive prices. Both the owner and Courtney really know their products and the travel industry…as in what measurements, weight limits, etc. are acceptable.I purchased an overhead Briggs and Riley bag from an online retailer a few months ago. These are great pieces of luggage BTW, pricey for sure but with a lifetime warranty, they beat Tumi and the like hands down. I did a lot of research for the first piece and did the same when looking at a larger checked bag that I originally planned to also buy online. I was in the mall for another item and decided to stop in for a look around, not knowing that Riviera Leather & Luggage carried Briggs and Riley but even so, suspected that they would have an excessive markup regardless.Not only was I wrong about the price being the same as the best I could find online, but Courtney also taught me a few things I didn’t know about the line and the specific piece I was looking at. I bought the piece and he had it custom monogrammed within 15 minutes. Courtney even offered to monogram my previously bought overhead bag (that I bought elsewhere) for free if I brought it in. WOW! I went back a few days later to look at another piece and no surprise, Courtney remembered my name (and a nickname that he monogrammed). Yep, had to buy that piece as well…no high pressure, just people that treat you well and that you enjoy doing business with. Good Ol' Fashioned Excellent Customer Service! Can’t recommend them enough.
Jeff Schweikert: I had been considering a new piece of luggage to replace my Hartmann tweed garment bag that has been my faithful travel companion for over 20 years and has logged over 2 million miles. It’s showing it’s advancing age and becoming more difficult to patch for the next adventure.I considered replacing it with another Hartmann, but upon looking at their company website, since their acquisition by Samsonite, the line has dwindled to three pieces, none like my old faithful.I started looking for other options which led me to Briggs & Riley. After watching about 3 hours of YouTube videos on their product line and studying their website, I learned they had a local dealer at West County Center, Riviera Luggage.My wife and I went to Riviera Luggage and were greeted by a gentleman, Ryan. I had my list of questions ranging from the pros and cons of domestic vs. international baggage to a number of product specific questions on the Briggs & Riley line. Ryan patiently answered all of my questions and taught me things about luggage and the product that helped us make the perfect selection.In a world of so many online options for shopping, our experience with Ryan reminded us of the pleasure of person to person interaction with someone who really knows their products and is interested in making sure they help you get the right thing, as well as establishing themselves for support after the sale.If you are a traveler, either casual or frequent, would highly recommend a visit to Riviera Luggage. Ryan is a highly knowledgeable resource and you’ll definitely find something in the store, even if just a simple thing, that will make your future travel a little nicer.
Harry Liebman: 5 stars pretty much sums it up! I've been looking for a quality wallet that won't disintegrate after a few years. I believe I've finally found what I'm looking for. The selection here was quite wide and the price was as I'd hoped -- more than the junk I'd been buying, but very reasonable for a quality wallet that will last a long time. And the proprietor said something you never hear anymore: If you have any issues with it, just let me know. This guy has been there for years and fully expects to be there for years to come. He's a local businessman who cares about his merchandise, his customers and his reputation. Wow. How long has it been?

After the first of the year, I made my pilgrimage to obtain my inserts for my daily planner.As I entered the store, I was promptly greeted by multiple staff members and one stepped out from behind the counter to assist me. I told her, I'd be a quick and easy sale, I showed her my planner and requested the daily insert.They were sold out. I wasn't surprised, since it was after the first of the year and most by them at year end. She did show me the weekly insert, but I'm a daily organizer. She offered to order me one and asked if I wanted to pick it up at the store or have it shipped to me home. I opted for my home, since I live an hour away. She quickly processed the sale and thanked me for my business.The shipping was as quick as a shipment from Amazon Prime. My purchase made at 10:46AM and I was notified that it had been shipped at 11:36AM on the same day. To my surprise, the package arrived at 1:35PM the very next afternoon. When I opened the shipping box, my purchase was presented as if I bought it in the store. That is, Excellent Customer Service

Shaheen Dhillon: Let me start with "WORST STORE,WORST EMPLOYEES AND WORST MANAGEMENT" Purchased a $800 Mens Shawl on December 23rd at this store. Went home and found several threads popping out. I took It back to store and sales person named Justin exchanged it for a new one. Few days later when I took it out of the box and wore it first time I found several threads coming out. Took the defective product to the store on 01/9/23 approximatly 3:15 Pm to return the defective garbage product. The sales man said they have to have manager look at it. "DeAndre" the store manager comes out he was very rude and arrogant. His partner was very rude and racist white man. Him and his partner who was with him lied first by saying that it is normal for threads to come out (so basically Louis Vuitton sells garbage). Then he refused to return it. I told them this is very unfair that they have sold me a defective piece. He told me that I can call Louis Vuitton customer service all I want and smiled and said they will not do anything for you.I was hoping they would offer to repair the defective piece or send it back for quality control issue but they decided to be sleazy commission hungry failed sales people with no regards to customer service. Horrible experience at this store. Unprofessional lying employees like DeAndre and his partner and the rest of the staff makes you never want to buy anything of this brand. What a shame!

I stopped in the store to exchange a Christmas gift (I had the gift receipt) purchased online by my husband and she informed me that I would not be able to make the exchange unless they called the gift giver and received permission to exchange it. This is absolutely ridiculous, I had everything I needed to make the exchange. She said it was too bad, it’s policy. This is completely unacceptable customer service for any brand let alone luxury brand.

Francesco Cappai: Let me preface by saying this is not about the store but about the brand. Two years after purchasing a $600 watch case, the side unglued itself. They wanted to charge me for the repair because there were 4 watches in the case instead of 3 (these were very small watches and the case was in no way over stuffed). Also the case was barely used in its 2 years of life. Why spending so much money when on a brand that clearly builds its products to be so cheap?

Even though i purchase online I am impressed with how well they present my items. My husband purchased the ONTHEGO GM for me forChristmas from STL and then in January purchased the Felicie Pochette for my birthday at the Naples, FL store. By Easter I notice the Pochette had the leather edging coming off. Most of the time it was in my ONTHEGO as my wallet. The edging was very noticeably coming off which my friends noticed. My large bag also had definite worn patches on the four bottom corners of it. I was shocked at such a luxury brand! I took them back to the St. Louis LV and inquired about what could be done. I was told this was normal wear and tear. Ridiculous! My friends could not believe that they would even allow for edging to be noticeably coming off of their luxury product! I’ve owned them for 4 months! I took my purse to the Naples, FL LV, where my husband purchased the smaller purse. They were so professional. Immediately they said this is NOT normal wear and tear. This was a defect and they replaced my purse for me.I will be coming back to the Naples LV. I will NEVER step foot back in the St. Louis LV. You should be ashamed of your customer service!

Please review social cues! Then the icing on the cake that made me leave, not buy anything and speak with the MIC who didn’t apologize and say a word as if I was bothering her. The CSR said this bag isn’t on sale when I asked for a print of the backpack in a different size. I didn’t ask that, I asked for a different bag size. Her tone and what was said was foul. STOP racially profiling, regardless of the price I had the money don’t assume because it’s not on sales I wouldn’t buy and for the MIC be more mindful and concerned when someone is giving feedback you looked confused, bothered and like I was the issue. Never will I return here I’m appalled
