Cellar House: what do users think?
Claudette Dorton: A very nice atmosphere along with friendly staff and a delicious buffet. On top of this they have many fun events like laser tag or the bumper cars, even a mini roller coaster. Definitely would recommend.
Grace Wright: Always 5 stars. I live minutes away and I’m so grateful I never have to drive out to Webster or Manchester any longer to get an amazing 5 star meal, drinks, and desert.Recommended dishes Baked Goat Cheese Dietary restrictions accommodated Gluten free, Not sure …More
Bruce Klostermann: Outstanding dinner at Cellar House to celebrate our anniversary! We shared the arancini, tuna, and gnocchi. All were delicious, as well as the cocktails. Tim Kaiser: Just moved to S. County and we were looking for our new favorite go-to restaurant... I think we found it! Everything we had was amazing and our waiter and support staff were top notch. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu
Denise Sanford: The pork chop was delicious! And their drinks were very satisfying! Highly recommend going here!
Lyndall Gregson: Gorgeous dining room, salmon was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Will be coming back again!
Brian Villa: The brussel sprouts appetizer was amazing. My entrée was the steak special with fries and it was overly salty to an extreme and a bit over cooked (I ordered medium rare). I prob should've gone with the braised short ribs but I usually want to be wowed by a special and I was craving steak. Girlfriend's scallops looked great but she complained about a bit too much salt too and she generally likes dishes on the saltier side. Our bottle of wine was great as was our server and the atmosphere. The food however left a little to be desired.

Stephanie Clayman: Whether you are in STL or Jeffco, the small drive to Oakville is worth the trip. Cellar House is an unexpected GEM with true quality food and hand-crafted cocktails. Every menu item is the perfect balance of delicate and rich, Chef Chloe (named chef of the year by Froeb's) goes above and beyond in her flavor execution, and the kitchen staff is spot on. Although the wine selection is fantastic, you wouldn't want to miss out on one of Tyler's cocktails, which are made with thought and consideration. The drinks serve as a course of their own. I can't rave enough, I would love to keep this spot a secret, but the entire team at Cellar House deserves the success that is growing! Be sure to make a reservation in advance if you want to secure a spot.
Sarah B: This place is an amazing little spot in Oakville! Friends and I enjoyed our meals, sharing Starters and the dessert. We met the chef who was very nice and gave us some insight on how she plans the menu. The fancy mixed drinks are very unique and work well with the menu! The menu is seasonal and we had the Winter 2023 menu but we'll be back to try the Spring menu in April!
Jeff nizick: This is me and my wife’s favorite place to eat in STL. It just so happens we also live in Oakville so we come all the time and have never once been disappointed. Can’t wait to spend another Valentines Day here.Kid-friendliness: Staff is incredible to all guestsParking: Tons of spotsWheelchair accessibility: My son has a Walker and has never had an issue in here. jennifer manolis: Very good food but they only let you stay 1.5 hours, which they did not tell me when I made reservation. I was with a friend I had not seen in months, so we were catching up. The server came by numerous times and owner came by once or twice. Did not like the hovering and we felt rushed. I would have had no problem if they had informed me at the time of making the reservation or when we sat down at the start like the Xmas pop-up bars. Somewhat ruined the evening I understand they do this because place is small but it could have been handled better.
Alice Kramer: As a vegan I have a hard time finding something with decent protein when I eat out with others. Most restaurants don’t understand vegans don’t eat just salad or pasta without meat. The power bowl was modified to my diet(mushrooms are more animal than plant) and it was delicious!! It had edamame and quinoa and other good stuff. Everyone else raved about their pork chop🤷🏼‍♀️
Julie Kavy: Food is amazing and excellent service by all staff members.
Danielle SnD: Neat little place. Great service! Odd that they don't have Sprite... instead it's a "likeness" from a brewery, not bad though. My dish of Bone in Porkchop was so delicious, I forgot to get a picture. Although, didn't think the steak was worth the $45... 🤷‍♀️Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Mtao _: This place was amazing! Lindsey took care of us helping with our food and wine selections and they didn't disappoint. Everything was knock your socks off delicious iron chef style. The flavors and freshness are cut above the rest. Go check it out!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Van GoGo: Wow. This small but beautifully designed restaurant is our new favorite thanks to a superb head server (Jeff), a brilliant bartender (Tyler) and an extraordinarily gifted and vibrantly kind executive chef (Chloe Yates.) Just hope we can keep her and her amazing food in St. Louis for a few more years!

First, our table had rose petals, and last, we were treated to a delicious cheesecake dessert. The main course was a delicious melt-in-your-mouth filet with a side of loaded mashed potatoes. This was preceded by a crisp Caesars salad. I will return.

I believe they are under new management at this location bc this experience and the taste of the food was melt in your mouth delicious. My husband got the lamb chops I got the salmon with oscar (crab and asparagus)on top. We also got the lobster mac and the drinks. I can't wait to go back and this time it wont be a year.
Joseph Ensley: Can't say enough good things about this place! Great cocktails, great atmosphere, and fantastic views of the Arch! (It's literally across the street from the Arch, and we could see it through the windows) We had Alexis as our waitress, and she was fantastic! The food is always to die for! They were able to fit our table of 7 in with pretty short notice, and we had a great post-graduation celebration! Definitely try the Creme Brulee!
Sheree McDade: The service was horrible, once we sat down. We felt disrespected by the waiter. Foo came out cold and sides were never bought out. brad allen: I have been looking forward to my first visit to Ruth's steakhouseOur booth had food stuck to the wall. Trash had accumulated under our table. No spoon provided for stirring tea and sweetener.Bathroom only had one working faucet. Khalid Mundwiller: I'm sorry, I'm not sure why everyone is reaching about this place. We went last night and had a gritty, undercooked steak (it literally couldn't melt the terrible butter they put on top) and 4 small raviolis and the worst gooey butter cake I've had in STL (maybe they missed the first word, gooey, because this was just cake). $90 for this. I'm sorry, there are so many better choices in STL. I was REALLY excited to try this place based on all the positive reviews and NOTHING I had was very good (the wild boar ravioli was the best thing and even it was not great at all). I hate giving negative reviews and I probably should have sent the steak back, so that's on me. Server was very nice and we still tipped her accordingly, but the food was not good AT ALL.

Jorden N: I swear the STL food journalism scene has something against the Hamiltons group, because this was yet another amazing place the journalists don’t bother mentioning.Everything was just so spot on. The only fleck of meh-ness was the Cesar salad, but even then it was like being the dumbest kid in the talented/gifted class- getting an A- when everyone else gets an A+
Carey B: I find it incredibly rude to answer the phone and scream “I CAN’T HEAR YOU” and then hang up when someone is calling to make reservations. I hadn’t even had a chance to talk when I was yelled at and hung up on. I wish I were kidding when I say that this happened with three phone calls made today where the exact same person answered, yelled at me, and hung up.
Aaron Moore: "Great vibe!" That's the term I'll use to describe this place. Eleven Eleven Mississippi is intimate enough for a chill date night, quiet enough for engaging conversation. Yet large enough for a big group to celebrate a birthday with your friends.I had dinner with a friend and we enjoyed the ravioli for a starter which I highly highly recommend. As my entree, I enjoyed the Chicken Diablo Fusilli. Prepared to perfection and just a little bite. I made reservations and was seated right away. The server was attentive, engaged in fun banter, and displayed strong knowledge of the menu. I will go again and again! I recommend you do the same.Parking: Parked right around the corner of the restaurant. There was an adequate amount of parking.

AddJustin: I couldn't find anything to complain about. It was wonderful. The menu was awesome, everything was good and I can't wait to return. It was clean, plenty of space to travel through and visually interesting to look around. Local celebrity hotspot for sure. Staff was very nice and welcoming. There's an outside section which will be great for the coming summer months!
Gretchen Dobbs: My boyfriend and I have been here several times, sat in the dining area, and have had wonderful experiences so far with the servers, which is the only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars. We came in this evening 4/27 and sat at the bar to have some food and drinks but we were completely ignored by the older female bartender with wavy hair- she didn’t even bother to tell us her name. She was blatantly giving us poor service, checking in frequently and having conversation with the patrons directly next to us. She was not busy in the slightest but couldn’t bother to look at us. This went on for over 30 minutes. This made us so upset we decided to leave before ordering our food. Very disappointed and surprised.
Gennie Palmer: The first time I dined at 11/11 Mississippi was with my parents when I was 12 years old. I fell in love with this restaurant. I’ve had my 14th, 18th, 21st, 23rd, 25th, & 29th birthday dinners here with my family and friends, and also for other celebrations over the years. I most recently dined here for fun in March 2023. The cuisine is always delicious, the staff are excellent, timing is always smooth but never rushed, the atmosphere and energy is positive, and I always look forward to the experience. I hope to dine at 11/11 Mississippi for many more years to come.Parking: very easy to find parking or have a drop-off/pick-up by Uber/Lyft

Vin De Set: what do users think?
Eric Farson: Fantastic experience. The food and service here are some of the best in St. Louis. Period. Everyone was friendly - the host, waitress, and manager. I have never experienced this before at any restaurant in St. Louis. They really went above and beyond. I got the seabass and it was amazing. The patio is fantastic and also one of the best in St. Louis. I will be back once they reopen!
Eyreka Peterson: Edited 9/19/2022 to add that it is not shocking that this placed caught fire. Like I said below, major systemic issues.I wasn't going to write a review, but the service I received on a Friday evening (8/26/22) was so bizarre I've been thinking about it all weekend. I called the Thursday prior to inquire about reservations for 3:00 p.m. drinks and dinner. I was assured that it would be so slow at 3 that reservations would not be needed. I arrived at 3 p.m. with a party of 4 and no one was in the lobby or bar area so we waited around. A woman came through the door from outside on a mission and stopped in her tracks and asked "do you need something". Not rude, but certainly not kind. We explained we were there for drinks and dinner and she let us know there was no waitstaff to help us yet. Cool, I've worked food service before, I know how it goes right at opening. We asked if we could start with drinks and apps and were directed with a curt finger that it was outside. The bartender asks if we're going to order drinks and food, we say yes and order. We start towards the tables in the dining area and the bartender tells us we should sit in the bar area so she can bring out our apps. I let her know I need to sit at a low top table and there are none in the bar area. We proceed to sit at the table closest to the bar in the dining area. We are only there for a few minutes before she comes over to tell us that the table is reserved. There are zero people in the dining area. It's 3:20 p.m. I let her know that we're planning on ordering dinner and that I can't sit in a high top table. She assures us she has something over in her section. She seats us at a cheap cabana couch, directly in the sun (it's 98 degrees out) out on the deck. It has a tiny table that our drinks and apps barely fit on. We are boiling. We finish our apps and drinks and decided not to stay for dinner (because how even at that table). As we're leaving there are 2 tables seated in the dining area. No reason for us to have been moved. The drinks were great, the food that we had was delicious, the service was the absolute strangest thing I've ever come across. I'm willing to make excuses for 1 person having a tough afternoon and providing subpar service - it happens. When it's multiple people and multiple instances - that's systemic.
Brittany Griffith: Many thanks to Mike and the manager for making our day. The service was good and prompt. See you again soon :)
Malcomn Roach: Still a good place for Sunday brunch. Prime rib is awesome
beautybyraelynn: The women at reception was insanely rude to my group. I felt like I was dreaming… she ruined our evening from the moment we walked in. I never write reviews but I couldn’t help myself.
Ryan Daigle: Always a delicious meal. We've been going here for about 12 years and they always impress!
D M: Absolutely perfect brunch. Danita was our wait staff person today and she was wonderful!
Salvatore Scotto: Nice place, good dinner, staff friendly.
Issa Lifestyle 1: There was mouse droppings on the table. No one working there even attempted to cleaned it up. Horrible first impression. The hostess working Sunday 8/28 around 10:15am did not greet us when we arrived, she said something to a server then continued to eat her bacon. I said "hello" and she replied, "Can I help you?". Immediately I felt the quality of the experience sink to fast food level. I let her know we were there for brunch she asked "Do you have a reservation?" "No we do not." She shoveled the last of her bacon into her mouth, grabbed 2 menus with her hands she just put in her mouth and walked away. We reluctantly followed hoping to recover the ambience of the experience but at this point we are already not feeling welcome. We were guided through a small bar area and sat near a window in the back of the room. Immediately we noticed the droppings on the table, but the hostess had already gone back to the host stand. We never even sat down. I walked back to the host stand to bring the issue to the bacon eating hostess' attention to which she said 'it isn't feces or else we would be shut down'. I advised her that was exactly why I came to tell her instead of taking a picture. Her reply was "Go ahead take a picture cause it's not that." I replied,"OK I will." The person I was with had to ask for a different table, it was not offered to us by the hostess. She said 'the only other space I have is this or that', pointing toward a table in the corner by the door of the room we had just left. We walked over to the table ourselves. As I noticed she was not going to formally seat us, so I took it upon myself to retrieve the menus we left at the poop table and of course to take the photos of the mouse droppings on the table and in the window seal as suggested by the hostess (see attached). It took us about 10 minutes to find a different place to go for brunch; the entire time no one attempted to investigate or clean up the mess we reported. As we left the manager tried to speak to us but it was too late. I couldn't leave that place fast enough. People deserve to have a choice what environment their food is in especially during pandemic times. Definitely looks like rat sh't!!! I will not return.
Michael Wallace: Weather made it perfect. Their rooftop experience is top notch. And their servers are attentive
Jim Williamson: Rooftop bar with a view of the arch
Grant Young: Just stepped out of Vin De Set and couldn’t have been more displeased. We showed up at open, after being advised to do so on a Friday as it will get busy. So we showed up and got ignored until we told the hostess we’d like to have a drink and apps. After being pointed to the bar, through the window, we headed over. One party doesn’t deal well with high top chairs, so we headed to a 4 too under shade after being told “I won’t be able to give you service but that’s okay, I’ll till serve you”So we sat in the shade and maybe 3 minutes later we’re told the entire area was reserved and we had to sit in the sunniest area of the roof top. Had we not ordered, we would have left. This was the oddest and most uncomfortable experience I’ve had in any restaurant, not just in St Louis. If you want bad service, rude staff, and to be lied to, accompanied with honestly good food and cocktails - this is your spot.
Suzie Scrivner: This is my second time here. The food is great! Courtney our server and Bryson the bartender were wonderful. The woman at the hostess stand made me feel like I was intruding. She even came to me and my table at the end of the night to let me know that they were closing at 10. I did not see her tell any of the other patrons that they were closing. I will not come back to this place. We spent over $500 and felt like we were being kicked out early. There were four of us. We asked who she was and were told her name was Sharee. We still had full drinks and desserts. Please put a smile on your face when you are greeting customers. Don’t make them feel like they are not welcome.
Beverly: What happened? Last year we had a lovely birthday dinner with wonderful food; the set menu was fabulous, and the staff were incredibly attentive. This year it was just… bad. The baked brie with strawberry-basil marmalade would have benefited from a more generous serving of the marmalade, but that was forgivable. The coq au vin was absolutely flavorless and dry—confusing given that the dish is literally cooked in red wine. Interestingly, it was served on the same dish shape as the steak even though there was liquid on the dish (still somehow flavorless). The veggies were reminiscent of those served in an elementary school cafeteria. The strip steak was overdone, and the best that I can say about it is that it can be used in leftovers. (Un)happy birthday!
Janeth Hernandez: We had the steak and frites very disappointing. The steak was so fatty and tasted like burnt rubber. Drinks were bland and below average. Prices are far too high for the quality of food. We’ve even been here twice because we really wanted to like it since it is walking distance from our house. Never leave reviews but felt like I should.
Steve McCormick: I feel like it is overpriced. $33.00 / person for a 3 course brunch. They used to have a brunch buffer that was worth 33.00. The service was excellent.
Coleen Hill: Excellent staff, food and rooftop view! One of my very favorite St Louis restaurants. We have not had a bad meal yet. Also wonderful desserts!
cufta05: We dropped in based on a Google search on restaurant with a terrace. Also, we thought it would be possible to order a coffee because of the French restaurant. Unfortunately, our thinking was wrong. The quality of the coffee was terrible. The service was bad. The employees together with the manager did not seem to know where to put us. We wandered around to find an area for "coffee drinkers". The manager who was on duty did not care when we told her that the coffee was terrible. Overall C-Coffee 1.5/10Service 5.5/10
Cheryl Andrews: Great food and service
Mark Leibu: Probably better for dinner. Sunday brunch, so and vs so
Eric W Thompson: Good view outside on the roof. Fine food with attentive service. Prime rib was awesome.

Tess Losada Miner: We are obsessed! Sit on the patio, get all the dips, the egg salad from heaven, and the roasted carrots which are divine - a cold glass of white wine in the sun under a parasol and wow you’re about as close to Europe as you can get in STL. Jeromy Boze: Great food. Patio is very nice.
Judy Ross: Food delicious, service not so great. We had a 11 am reservation. Several minutes after ordering we were told that they were out of several of their main dishes including the lamb and the chicken. In general we found the staff to be kind of rude. They brought out one entree and then the rest of the table had to wait 20 minutes for their meals. The outdoor seating is lovely— especially for those of us who love to garden.
Peter Maliha: Delicious food! Really hearty and fresh. You walk out feeling really good and satisfied. One of the best daytime spots in STL.
Pedja Maodus: Odlična jagnjeće butkica za rucak u 16h
Jess Watson: Very disappointed. Tock lost our reservation, but the host was kind enough to make it work and seat us outside. (Cold and windy but I don’t blame them for seating us outside, it was the reservation apps fault). Our server seemed mad to serve us and had very few words to say. The only time he was fast to return and check in on us was when we asked for the check. The starters were good but not worth it. Some $10-15 tiny plates are so delicious that you don’t care that it is basically $3/bite. This was not the case here. Shishitos we’re basically flavorless and the pickled veggies were cut so big and were so underwhelming in both flavor and presentation. The warm pita and the caponata was great. The only reason I might try Olio again. We got some cocktails that were average so nothing to say about those. We were so disappointed by our server that we didn’t even bother ordering dinner and we instead just got take out from Tin roof. I hope that the server was just having a bad day because he was unpleasant to interact with. Shame because we went there to celebrate my college graduation and were ready to enjoy some great food and cocktails.
Giancarlo Andreoli: Il cibo era ottimo, peccato che mancassero diverse cose dal menù
rosalind latham: I have been passing by this place for 3 years, so when my girlfriend wanted to go for her birthday dinner, I joined her. The place is so cute with its own herb garden and greenhouses. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. We sat down and ordered drinks, which were excellent. The menu, which is Mediterranean, isn't very big, but we ordered different entrees so we could see what they were. I had the lamb shank since the lamb shoulder with hummus was sold out. It came with 3 sauces and yellow rice and chickpeas. It was cooked just right and was very good. It was supposed to be a plate for two, but I could eat that all by myself. My only complaint is the glasses the drinks came in were smaller than the usual martini glass, and the chairs are auditorium chairs and too hard. We had a great time and will go back again.
Maggie Oliveri: Food was AMAZING!!
Amy Fitzgerald: Highly recommend! Amazing food and drinks and great service. Love the ambiance. Lots of vegan options too!
Adam Levine (Adam Nate Levine): i mean. we’re talking fresh food on a hot st. louis summer day? nothing hits the spot better
Joseph Ensley: Wow!!! The food was DELICIOUS and we could tell attention was paid to the quality of ingredients. Bartender was knowledgeable about various types of alcohol and liqueurs, and the drinks were fantastic! I would highly recommend the hummus with the pine nuts (can't remember the name at the moment), but it was so good we ordered one to go! I wish we lived closer because this would certainly be a regular spot to enjoy!
Sheri Lind: Incredible botanical garden with a gorgeous menu. Service could be improved all around. Disappointed they were out of olives. Perfect place for patio weather!
Devinee Stroud: My husband and I came to Olio for a date night and we had such a great experience! They happened to have a wine tasting happening while we were there and we had a great time enjoying the wines as well as chatting with the featured vineyard owners. The servers were friendly and cheerful. The food was so so delicious. My husband and I split the deluxe hummus, the bruschetta toast and the egg salad toast and it was more than enough for the both of us. I also got the ginger spritz which was really refreshing. We left full and satisfied! Will definitely be coming back and bringing friends next time.
Joshua Spurgeon: Very fun lunch date in a tastefully converted restaurant from a historic automotive shop/garage.Unique small plates of food to share and enjoy.Excellent service and delicious menu items in a memorable dining experience. They have indoor seating, a large outdoor patio area, and a small indoor private room for parties or reservations. My wife and I liked this place very much.
videsh deshmukh: Excellent food. Plenty of vegetarian options. Service was very good.
Yigal Y: Wonderful atmosphere.Good service
Jason Hoffarth: Olio was great and the epitome of middle eastern cuisine! The chicken kefta and turkey thigh were both tender and juicy and the flavors were out of this world. You gotta check this place out!
Marzen Baldonado: Awesome Chai!

Mrs Harris: On May 13,2023 my family, friends and I dined at Flemmings Prime Steakhouse to celebrate my birthday and mother's day. We had such a wonderful and beautiful experience. Taylor our hostess/waitress was absolutely the BEST!! we had a party of 9 and she made sure to attend to each and every single one of our needs!! . Taylor is definitely TOP TIER she makes Flemmings a better place! Taylor single handedly took our dining we experience to the next level. Thank you for a great birthday dinner!!
Wendy Cooper: We went to Flemings for Mother's Day with my family. The steak was awesome, the seafood was awesome, and wow the desserts. The manager walked around and our service was SO AWESOME! Our service was aware of everything going on at the table and they were busy. It was a holiday! This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had! What a great to spend my day. Thank you!
Katlyn ruble: This was a redemption visit after our past few visits not being the best. Kelly the food service manager is amazing and has the best customer service and hospitality i have ever seen at a restaurant. With that being said this wasn’t our greatest experience. Our food wasn’t as bad as our visit a week ago. Our bread was burnt both times they were brought to us. Our steak wasn’t cut all the way and the potatoes were undercooked. We had one of the more experienced servers and they maybe stopped at our table 5-6 times including taking our orders and bringing the food. We were waiting 20+ minutes to get a refill on our waters, drinks, and bread and by the time it was brought to us our food was being placed at the table. The table wasn’t set with everything it should have been and then plates and glasses weren’t being picked up to clear the table. We felt kind of like we were the outskirt of the restaurant and being passed up by staff that should have been checking on us. We had brought all of these concerns up the the food service manager who was more than understanding (and the only manager to check on us) they comped our meal. We had made it very clear we would pay for our food but she insisted they would take care of it and would speak to the store manager. Now typically i would never leave a review but this next part is what set in my mind that i would. The store manager never came to speak to us and had past our table several times after having the conversation with the service manager. As a store manager that has customers who have had several bad experiences back to back he should have at least come to the table to apologize. Flemmings has been the place for date night for my husband and I for years and unfortunately we will be finding a new place as we have been let down too many times.

Debra Whitley: My daughter took me out to dinner to celebrate some very special events in our lives. She had the Salmon, Brussel Sprouts and Loaded Baked Potato. She totally enjoyed her Salmon and potato saying a few times how delicious it was however the Brussel Sprouts were slightly burned. I had the 20oz Bone in Ribeye(to be cooked medium), Baked Potato extra sour cream and butter and the Creamed Spinach. The Ribeye I recieved was cooked medium well I didn't send it back but did advise our waitress. The response I'm sorry about that. This was a $68 dollar steak cooked improperly for your customer and not one lead in the store ever showed up to the table. The Creamed Spinach was very soupy more like a dip than a side dish. The Potato was good but I had to request my extras a second time. This was my first visit to the restaurant and my daughter wanted the experience to be absolutely wonderful for us. There were many missteps but the company I shared the meal with was everything we hoped for even if the food and service lacked a little.

Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar: what do users think?
Alan Valensky: Seemed like a great spot. Service was friendly and fast. I ordered a Manhattan and still have no idea what drink I was actually made. Not 100% sure there was bourbon in it. But, it's a wine bar so I ordered a glass of Pinot and it was delicious. I ordered the special which was lamb chops. They came out totally untrimmed with all of the fat still on them making them virtually inedible. The parts that were edible were limp and under cooked. No hard sear, no crispy bits which is the whole point of lamb chops. Just fat and undercooked meat. The blackened cauliflower side was delicious. Sadly underwhelmed and $75 later, I'm at another establishment having a real Manhattan and some food so I don't go to bed hungry.
Jess Watson: Amazing service (thanks Terrell). Amazing food. GreatBeer on draft and wine selection. Charcuterie options and build your own board. Pricier but the type of pricier that’s worth it and NOT a disappointing ripoffFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Cheese Platter, Mac and Cheese Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Paid street parking …More
Hannah Lonsdale: Came for the charcuterie but balked at $11-13 per item. However, most of the food we tried instead (tomato bisque, chorizo, duck salad) was delicious.I was excited to see a niçoise salad on the menu, if surprised that the fish was salmon rather than tuna. The salmon was a little dry but flavorful and could have been forgiven if the olive dressing hadn't drowned out everything with its overpowering flavor. Embarrassingly bad and unbefitting of an otherwise excellent establishment.Final minor point- it was a quiet night and the bartender cleared away my beers before I'd had a chance to finish and savour the final sip. Stop that please, there's no rush!
Jim Wallace: Excellent little wine bar. Beer too. Recommended.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lauren Faucher: Nice venue with good food and a nice selection of drinks.
Aaron Mich: Nice establishment with really good food! The service was slow and they forgot my drinks on a few occasions. The light was too dim to read the menu very well and was a bit noisy. They also add on your entree side to the bill and it's not included in the original cost. Overall decent place with a little bit overpriced food.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Cody Cummings: We recently stopped in to Bridge, and it was a great experience. They have one of the best draft selections in all of downtown. Their mix of beers range in types, ABV and locality. You can order 4oz glasses if you’re into trying several. Their wine selection is also pretty varied, and we enjoyed everything we tried. If you’re hungry make sure to try one of the starters. I recommend the mushroom pâté if they’re currently serving it. Their other entrée dishes have a great blend of flavors. Many of the dishes leveraged flavorful proteins like duck sausage or braised pork belly with savory root veggies and herbs. The ambiance has a refined but rustic feel, and the intimate lighting makes it great for dates or just relaxing with a drink. The bartenders are really friendly and we’re a pleasure to talk to. Prices vary drink-to-drink, but they’re pretty reasonable for downtown.I highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t, and we plan to make them a pretty regular stop.
Kevin Chou: Very attentive service, and friendly ambience of the restaurant. Nicely curated listing of beers, definitely try a flight for the experience. Food is tasty and inventive. Well worth a visit.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Andy and Rebecca Tait: We had a great experience with T serving us. Very good and fast service, despite possibly being undermanned. We loved the tenderloin, grilled cheese, scallops and the beers. Glad we went here while visiting STL!
Jenn Anderson: Outstanding service!!! Our server-- and the host-- were so attentive and personable. And the server was so handsome!! 🤩The best stout beer I've ever had! I got the peanut butter one. Just incredible... so smooth and flavourful. The picture I posted is of a charcuterie board I shared with friends. Everything on it was excellent. The fig jam was particularly tasty.
Paul Abert: Very cool venue and great food!
Jacob Blandford: Great spot for dinner and drinks. They have an extensive selection of wine, beer, and spirits the menu is small but they make up for it with quality and delicious selections. The trout was phenomenal. The duck sausage was great. The French onion soup has exceptional flavor. And you definitely need to get a charcuterie board. Amazing summer sausage and local honey.
Steve Landstreet: Fantastic beer list, delicious food, super friendly staff!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Megan Levonyak: Plenty of tasty GF options. Love the cozy environment!
Eric S: Outstanding food! Tacos were amazing, salads and charcuterie boards were yummy, great beer selection. Wonderful service by T! Only complaint would be the interior is SO DARK. I'm never a fan of having to use my phone flashlight to read the menu. Also insanely loud, there's a super low ceiling upstairs in the dining area, and the music plus other diners made conversation just at our table of 4 difficult. Still worth it overall, will be back!
maureen carson: Wine bar? Didn’t have the one Sauvignon blanc by the glass and no rose options. Didn’t care to help me find anything I’d like including the 5 bottle options. Food was blah. Service was slow. Never returning.

Mike Akerly: Completely empty when I arrived, I intended to grab a seat at the bar for dinner and some wine. Not exactly the type of environment one would enjoy a solo dinner in. The host stopped me to gather all of my contact info. I told him I wasn't interested in receiving marketing and he told me "it's required for Covid contact tracing." this was in March of 2023. Consider whether you'll support this type of behavior before joining them.

katie krus: Very disappointing for the amount of money we spent. I am all for spending money on great food but this did not live up to expectations. When we walked in for a 6:00 reservation, there were only 2 other tables full which was a bit alarming to start. We did the 5 course meals and my husband and I each tried different dishes. The menu had great potential but total lack of execution by the kitchen. The drinks had fun names and were presented beautifully with good flavor. The crab croquette was my favorite dish of the whole meal - delicious with the squid ink, however, my husband thought it was a bit too salty. The shaved Foie Gras was pretty good but had a very strange texture with the beets and did not have a good presentation. Kind of looked like slop. The French onion soup was good. The Bibb lettuce salad was below average. I make better salads on a whim at home. Absolutely nothing special about it. Bluefin Carpaccio was supposed to be an uncommon dish so that is why I chose it. It had a very fishy taste and smell, almost looked grey on the dish and had poor presentation. It was my least favorite dish. The waiter told us “the Buttermilk Fried Poussin is the best fried chicken you will ever eat” and also made sure to reiterate it was not pigeon which we found strange. (Of course it’s chicken!). It was decent but nothing near the best fried chicken I’ve ever had and it was difficult to get off the bone - not a ton of meat. My husband ordered the elk chop medium rare and it came out well done and honestly looked pathetic. It looked like a shriveled up piece of meat. Lastly, for dessert I had the beignets. They tasted burnt/over fried and lacked depth in flavor. Very disappointing overall after having this place on my “go to” list for years.
Daniel Conboy: Wonderful wine selection. Superb service. Food was delicious.Recommended dishes Pork Belly Carnitas, Beignets, Chop, Risotto …More
Nikki Trapp: Amazing cocktails! And the service was top notch!

Ian Scharrer: Great food and great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Blynn Atchley: My wife and I came here for my Birthday. We had a fantastic time! The food was excellent and the staff was all on point! The lamb was by far my favorite and the wagyu my wife got!If you’re doing the tasting, I would expect to pay $100+ per person with drinks, etc. They do have all carte as well if you wanted to get only a few and pay less. However, well worth the experience for a special occasion!

ELAIA: what do users think?
Melissa Bear: Several years ago we came and had an outstanding meal. This year we came after seeing the Valentine’s Day meal advertised and had very high expectations. We were disappointed. The meal was more expensive than other similar restaurants in town, and for the price we paid, the size of portions and quality was not what one should expect from such a highly regarded restaurant. Our octopus was over cooked and chewy and the steak was more fat and gristle than meat.
Ross Mandernach: Absolutely amazing food, wine, service and atmosphere. Anyone who has given this place a 1 star review has the palate of a picky toddler and knows nothing about good food. This place is worth every penny
Josh Lorenz: Great dinner, excellent food and friendly staff!
Sherry Pesicka: The portions are extremely small and the prices are very expensive. 2 of us cost $277.00
Scott Howze: The tasting menu and pair pairings were amazing. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I have no complaints.
Parker Gelber: This was the most fun and romantic tasting menu experience we’ve had. The food was unbelievable. Creative and diverse. This staff here was fantastic. By far the best service we have experienced. There knowledge is unparalleled.5 out of 5, one of the best spots in the Midwest!
Brian Grouzos: The food was ok. Like 5 dishes in a row had basil oil on it and most were slightly under seasoned. Service was very good though. Overall, the value for the price wasn't there for me.
Rachel Waterman: After trying many other tasting menus around town - tempus, vicia, bulrush, etc - gotta say this is hands down the least bang for your buck. Food is good, for sure, but you can eat just as well, in a much nicer setting, for a lot less money elsewhere in town.
Jason Yeager: The food, wine, and service was exceptional. It was very expensive, but also a great dining experience.
Nicholas Miller: Expensive but the best. Don’t go here to save money, go here to have a meal you won’t soon forget. Each course was thoughtful, delicious, and beautiful. We went there for our anniversary and very much enjoyed the whole experience.
Eduardo Sequeira: This what everyone must expect about fine dining. Good service, good and very well executed dishes with a good balance of wine pairings that usually is just random, the selection of wines was very accurate with the dishes and it has the right proportion. Bread, caviar, fish, beat tartar, Salmon cooked with broth, the mushroom, the chicken, the beef and dessert were just the right amount of flavorful dishes. I think the space is small for the potential of the cooking 🔪 here. Really worth it to visit if you want to have a good and fine dining experience
David Nold: Absolutely a superb and well designed chefs menu. The cadence of the nine courses and service was excellent. The flavors and creativity of the food ….wonderful. And the wine pairings were perfect…so totally complimentary. The staff and ambiance is an understated elegance, by which I mean professional AND friendly. They change their tasting menu every 2 months or so…..SO….if I’m back in the area this will be again on my list.
Kyle Williams: Have been to OLIO many times and love their food, but our meal at ELAIA was painfully underwhelming. We got the tasting menu with standard wine pairings and after an excellent cheese and bread service were disappointed by every course. The sturgeon in particular was so overcooked and unseasoned it was inedible. The wine was good with each course but everything except the short rib had almost zero flavor. For a total tab of more than $500 this was just such a bad meal. Especially disappointing given that the front of house staff did such a good job. It was just a poor meal on every level.
dhstlmo: We'd not been here for a number of years but just went for a birthday dinner, getting the full tasting menu and premium wine pairings. Elaia had always been good but a bit mixed in the past, and we thought this meal was up to their best from the early days. The wine selections were outstanding and most of the food courses were excellent to truly wonderful, and everything was at least very good. Service was charming, knowledgeable, attentive and well-paced. Be aware of the price tag, which was steep for our choices, and decide if it's likely to be worth it to you. St. Louis tends toward strong and simple flavors, and our meal at Elaia wasn't like that, closer to what you'd find in the bigger cities or in Europe, which isn't to everyone's taste.
Mel: I agree with the other reviewers that the tasting menu is overpriced and lacking both creativity and flavor for what you pay for. The service was great, very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately it seemed like the menu had been created without much thought which does not fly for that price point. There are other restaurants in the area that have amazing tasting menus for a fraction of the price.
Brad Hogenmiller: Wonderful anniversary dinner!
Dana Liu: Overall this was a really disappointing meal that fell short mainly because the price we paid did not justify the food and experience we received. We did 2x Chef Tasting Menus at $135 each, and split the premium wine pairing at $140 for a total of $410 before tax and tip.For this price, we found some issues in the dishes we received (e.g., overcooked sturgeon, beef short rib itself was on the bland side), the ingredients in the dishes didn't justify the price point (most expensive was the small scoop of caviar, then followed by beef short rib, and sturgeon - both of which had small portions as you can see in the photos), the wine pours were fairly restrained over 8 glasses, and the overall experience wasn't up to par with 'fine dining'.As a direct comparison, the last fine dining experience pre-COVID was with a 1 michelin restaurant in Chicago called Temporis. They offer a $165 seasonal tasting menu which was an intimate fine-dining experience from the setup, the service throughout, and the final parting gift of a goodie bag with the tasting menus and a sweet treat from the pastry chef. Their menu also features premium ingredients such as Lobster, Duck, Venison, A5 Wagyu Ribeye, etc. Finally, their comparable 2nd tier wine pairing to Elaia's comes in at $165 over 9 courses. For just $30 more on the tasting menu, and $25 more on the wine tasting, you could've gotten excellent cooking (as recognized by Michelin if that makes a difference to you), premium ingredients, reasonable wine pairings, an extra course (and wine pour!), and a really positive memorable experience. Elaia was certainly memorable, but for all the wrong reasons.I do not recommend Elaia. There's definitely other restaurants in the St Louis area that gets better bang for buck. If you're looking for a guaranteed fine dining experience, I highly recommend making a trip up to Chicago - there's plenty of really great restaurants to explore!
Conrad Gray: Don’t even try it!We thought it would be a cool place because it’s in an old house. Thought maybe a chefs table!Wrong…..We both preordered the chef’s tasting menu when we made the reservation. Bad idea. It’s very hot at our table and they brought us an already opened bottle of what was supposed to be Italian still water but it smelled just like that river in St. Louis.I won’t spend the time telling about the terrible food on every course as I have included some photos.Way too much money for not nearly enough thought and concern for a fine dining experience.Terrible
Gaelen Joseph: owner is incredibly rude and food is not worth the price
Stanley McCaslin: Expensive, but a great food experience, with impeccable service. We had the four-course tasting menu, with wine pairings. I understand this menu changes daily based on what is freshly available that day.

33 Wine Shop & Bar: what do users think?

Tayler Bertelsman: I came in needing a bottle of wine for a gift. James was super helpful in finding me the perfect bottle of wine in my price range! I was honestly a little jealous of the selection and almost left buying two bottles - one for a gift and one for me.I look forward to coming back for Tuesday wine tastings.Edit: I kept coming back and each time was as great as my first visit. They have a wonderful charcuterie board available (expect on Tuesdays) and one of the best patios in the area.
