Neci Green: I visited this establishment recently and it was our first time. My friend and I were going to the Fox to see a show at 7:30. There were only 2 tables in the restaurant when we arrived. One that left shortly after we arrived. The other was on the patio. I loved the decor! It was so cute! We had reservations for 5:30 but arrived 10-15 minutes late. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and very nice. The food was amazing. I ordered the Filet Dom Pedro. The only thing that was a negative was how long the food took. We ordered our food a little after 6, 6:08 to be exact and we didn’t get our food until around 6:47. Also my food was just warm and the sauce on my steak was a little cold almost but it was delicious. I just wish it was hot. My alcoholic drink was yummy. It was a like drink with fresh lime juice and Brazilian rum. So we had to rush and eat and pay and leave so we could make it to the Fox for our show. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would visit again and plan extra time just in case food takes a long time.
Rev Dr Valori Mulvey Sherer: We loved the Sunday dinner buffet. The food was amazing - all of it. The meats, sliced and served at the table, were unique and delicious, and the desserts were unbelievably good. The staff were so friendly, caring, and efficient. Highly recommend!

Seriously, if you're down for a one of a kind ambiance featuring entrees cooked directly by George(the Owner & sooo hospitable frfr)& not to mention our Server, Garry who blew our minds btw-not only did he make my pallet dance simply by describing EVERY SINGLE MENU ITEM, including specials without writing it down ! There was so much to choose from, but after watching the hubby smash some homemade pork ribs it only made sense to try the beef ribs, a chicken & mussels (I've NEVER tasted anything like this before y'all )...hubby got the crab stuffed salmon which came with collard greens and cabbage and these drinks were strong AF😂😂!!! Look, go take a friend or go by urself cuz I'm tryna become a regular lolbvs

The Rideshare Foodie: Visiting town and enjoyed their ribs at their Hampton location and decided to make a visits here but when trying to place my order (busy street and parking) no one answers the phone! Online was unavailable to order and I walked and was told they were out of ribs and that they had something called trash ribs. I asked were they the same price as the regular which were 14 bucks and was told yes by the manager but then was rung up by the cashier who said it was 27 bucks. I asked was each location different prices and was told that they just updated their priced yesterday so maybe the Hamptons location hasn't updated yet. I don't knso what's going on at this location but something needs to be done. A wasted trip here smh

Ajit Kalra: Here’s what you need to know: meat was serviceable but nowhere close to great. Ribs were over smoked, brisket was way too dry and lean, sauces just aren’t good - all 4 of them. Old fashioned was unbelievably sweet - like a dessert. Service was excellent. Price is fair. Max n cheese was quu up its good. Greens and tomatoes were served chilled that I really enjoyed. Our server (Elena??) brought us refills on drinks several times without us having to ask and was friendly and quick. Pulled pork was moist and rib meat fell off the bone. I like their popovers and creamed corn!The times the food hadn't been great in the past, the ribs were salty or the pulled meats were dry.

mariahs: I went here specifically to try St. Louis style ribs while I was in town. The ribs here were dry, dry, dry! Almost like jerky. Very tough. The pit beans were good and the green bean and tomato salad was OK. I would not recommend stopping here.

A Bell: Food was bad at best. My medium steak was barely warmed and had no seasoning. It was also super fatty and chewy. The shrimp were bland and my fries were cold. I wish we’d have kept waking past.The staff were friendly but everything else seems just dirty. There were fruit flies in the dining area.Low and behold. Within 24 hours two people in our party that had steak got food poisoning. Thanks for a ruined trip to St. Louis.

We all ordered it. He suggested wine that paired very well with the steak. The service he provided for our dinner was beyond our expectations. He is a great kid and needs to know that. He had humor and joked with us the whole time. While doing this, he still was very professional and ensured his other tables had the same experience.Great kid. I hope this establishment can hire more kids like him.

Ashley Rene Casey: If you're thinking about going here, do it. The food is authentic. The atmosphere is a vibe. The service is on point. I've been here three times, got something different each time, and left amazed each time. There are good selections of hearty meat selections, savory seafood selections, and filling vegetarian selections. The drinks are solid, even for non-alcoholic - there's Brazilian sodas.I love eating here. It is pricey, but it is absolutely worth it if you want to enjoy a high-quality meal in a cool restaurant.

For me the worse thing there is the fact that they dont give you an receipt for what you paid, only one handwrite paper that I also can do by myself. ZERO effort was placed into preparing the slop that I was given.Eating from a sandbox would be more flavorful and fulfilling than dining at this restaurant! I ordered three entrées to feed myself and other household members. The chicken dish literally contained a processed chicken patty with an unseasoned topping. The steak was disgusting. I can't even begin to describe the contents of my order. The side item had a sand like texture, as if it hadn't been adequately cooked or soaked long enough.AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL COSTS.

Holly Cook: We had a date night at Yemanja Brasil, the food and drinks were authentic Brazilian deliciousness all made to perfection! We had the pork chop and seafood risotto and both were really tasty. The drinks were also really good and strong. You can tell that everything is made from scratch and with love. An added bonus was our server Leonildo, who was excellent. We really enjoyed spending time in conversation with him and a new friendship was born. I highly recommend visiting here, we will definitely be back when we are in the area!

brian myers: 4 stars-In an upscale residential neighborhood (Soulard) that is home to the oldest farmer’s market west of the Mississippi. Homey interior with about a dozen tables. Interestingly, you order at a table just inside the front door and then find a space to wait for your order. Doing a brisk take-out business during our visit. Sandwiches and platters available here with the usual meats along with the not as usual options of turkey, tri-tip, and pastrami. The famous bruleed ribs-basted with an apricot sauce and caramelized with a blow torch!-are available in half and full slabs or combined with a second meat plate. Meats also available by the pound. Two meat platter to share was our choice here today and wanting to eat a little lighter we picked the pastrami and turkey. With deviled egg potato salad and a sweet and sour coleslaw as the sides. Neither meat had a strong smoke flavor but were both delicious. The pastrami had the perfect amount of peppery rub. One of the best we’ve had. Turkey breast was nicely moist and would make a perfect sandwich. Sauces were an interesting assortment, none of which we found outstanding. The Sweet Meagan Ann sauce was pretty good-quite sweet but too heavy on the molasses we thought. All the sides here appear to be made in-house. The potato salad was delicious with mustard and dill the predominant flavors. The slaw was heavy on the vinegar and very wet. Not really to our liking. An overall enjoyable meal at a place I would recommend if needing a BBQ fix in St Louis.
Matthew Sinclair: So during my visit to St. Louis I went to the Arch and asked different people who were locals where they'd recommend I eat. Some suggested seafood, burgers, and of course ribs. I asked where the best ribs in town were and the first couple seemed too "chainy" and I wanted something local and unique. At the fudge store inside the Arch--yes, you heard that right--a young lady and I were talking about food and her and family being from Louisiana (where my parents are from) I knew I could trust her palate. So she recommended this place and showed me some pictures and set myself to go. She said it's not as well known but is known to locals, so again, another plus.Parking with the ParkLouie app was easy and inexpensive right across the street.She suggested the ribs of course, but also to have turkey as well. Got the half rack, fire and ice pickles, apple sauce, and a 1/4 lb of turkey. The pickles were definitely packing the heat and balanced by the sweetness. The applesauce was chunky and fresh, none of the processed stuff you get in stores.But the main event, those ribs...as you can see from the clean bone, I was a fan. Tender, well seasoned, flavorful, just awesome, no additional sauce needed. And then that hot turkey...I won't swear here but I uttered a few words a few times under my breath, it was that good. This is coming from a Texas Meat eater, it all was amazing.

R W: One of my favorite downtown bars to frequent at night. I've never tasted there food since I go to the bar at night but I can safely say the bar floor is very modernized artsy. There is a fireplace with a small seating area up some stairs and in that same area is a door that leads to a large patio that has a really cool long table that has the fireplace in the table. There is a VIP area that's somewhat large and the bathrooms stay clean and look very good. The bar is moderately priced and the bartenders have good knowledge on mixed drinks. The dance floor is medium sized and your so close to the DJ you can see exactly what songs there playing on there decks and you can literally put your drink on the DJs counter/booth. Yet I wouldn't recommend that😝
Dusty Ole Dude: The food was fine. We ordered 4 small plates between two of us. Calamari, lobster mac n cheese, fish tacos and short rib sliders.. all great.. the downside was two fold though. First the drinks, we ordered very simple Old Fashioned's and picked our whiskey(Russell's Reserve 10 yr) which arrived bitter and full of mushed fruit. Asked the bartender what was different and he said they use tonic. He remade them and they were even worse. Upside is the waitress saw we didn't drink them and comped them. The worst part was the obnoxiously loud party there. Between the near bare walls of the "industrial" design in the dining area and the drunken revelry of the table next to us, conversation with my date was near impossible.. Add to that the lady who kept barking about birthdays, spring training and heading to the mountains for vacation, it was mostly unbearable. The staff seemed to ignore the impact the 12ish top was having on the other diners. Even when leaving, as staff members were thanking us(I assume) we couldn't hear them speaking to us. Overall, good food..ok pricing.. disappointing experience. Won't be back.

Anthony Howard: This was the worst experience we’ve ever had at a fine dining establishment. My steak was over cooked and I was escorted out of the restaurant. My wife steak was over done, and they would not redo it. They told me I was a liar, took pictures and humiliated me in front of my friends and family, the service was horrible. The atmosphere was horrible. If you want a good meal, you have a better chance going to McDonald’s. This place just needs to close their doors and take their pride with them because just because they have an Emmy Does it mean they can be rude to guests and and talk down to them like they’re inferior people customer supposed to be always right but not at this place. We went last night and had a gritty, undercooked steak (it literally couldn't melt the terrible butter they put on top) and 4 small raviolis and the worst gooey butter cake I've had in STL (maybe they missed the first word, gooey, because this was just cake). $90 for this. I'm sorry, there are so many better choices in STL. I was REALLY excited to try this place based on all the positive reviews and NOTHING I had was very good (the wild boar ravioli was the best thing and even it was not great at all). I hate giving negative reviews and I probably should have sent the steak back, so that's on me. Server was very nice and we still tipped her accordingly, but the food was not good AT ALL.

Gretchen Dobbs: My boyfriend and I have been here several times, sat in the dining area, and have had wonderful experiences so far with the servers, which is the only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars. We came in this evening 4/27 and sat at the bar to have some food and drinks but we were completely ignored by the older female bartender with wavy hair- she didn’t even bother to tell us her name. She was blatantly giving us poor service, checking in frequently and having conversation with the patrons directly next to us. She was not busy in the slightest but couldn’t bother to look at us. This went on for over 30 minutes. This made us so upset we decided to leave before ordering our food. Very disappointed and surprised.
Gennie Palmer: The first time I dined at 11/11 Mississippi was with my parents when I was 12 years old. I fell in love with this restaurant. I’ve had my 14th, 18th, 21st, 23rd, 25th, & 29th birthday dinners here with my family and friends, and also for other celebrations over the years. I most recently dined here for fun in March 2023.
