Joel Pasley: Absolutely terrible customer service. Cane to buy one happy birthday balloon for my daughter and there was 4 employees standing there doing nothing but they said they couldn't full my balloon for 2 hours because they had other orders. But no one behind the counter was filling any balloons...the fact they couldn't take 10 seconds to fill a balloon for a walk in Customer while Noone was even using the helium is ridiculous. 3 other customers left as well because they were refused service. I guess Party City doesn't want to make any money...
Krista Verstraete: Picked up balloons for my daughters bday. Forgot receipt (honest mistake) some blond B with glasses working the balloon counter was very rude about it. Like Ok Karen I get it but get over yourself

Ken Peasley: LeAnn's comment to my 12 ysar old grandson was highly insensitive and promotes dangerous behavior. I would immediately speak to her and educate her about the dangers of promoting such games and urge her to refrain from making such comments in the future. My grandson had no idea what rushin roulette was. She said quote " you are thinkingabout the game where you put a gun up to your head and see if it kills you!" I was very a upset by this comment.
Tyler Blank: Can't inflate balloons in less than 24 hours.Customer service completely unhelpful when I asked where I could inflate the balloons we purchased from them.Turns out Price Chopper can do it in less than 5 minutes. Guess Price Chopper is my new party store.
Elexa Thornburg: would never ever recommend this store. I am doing this review as I am in line waiting for my ONE balloon to be inflated. 04/22/23 @7:53pm the lady putting together the balloons is absolutely the worst. ZERO customer service at all. We walked 3 feet from the counter after our balloons were inflated and one of our balloons popped. We walked straight back to the counter where the very nice cashier told us that since we didn't make it out of the store before the balloon popped that they would go ahead and take care of it and she knew we were rushing to our dads 45th birthday. I took the replacement balloon back to the lady inflating and she very rudely said "you need to go to the front counter and pay for that balloon again". I simply told her the cashier told us it was okay and you guys would take care of us. Then the lady starts ARGUING with the cashier infront of us saying "we aren't supposed to do that they need to pay" etc. so I felt disrespected and just told her we don't need a replacement we will leave and the very nice cashier lady told me it would be zero problem for the balloon to be replaced. Then the lady inflating added "it'll be a while because I have 2 orders infront of you" which I didn't care I was standing in line behind the other parties anyways. The lady inflating the ballon was absolutely rude, disrespectful, and has zero hospitality. And then to argue with your coworker infront of customers and then argue with the customer ? Wow. Thank you to the wonderful cashier for your great hospitality and understanding. You made the experience worth it.

Zoey Rochelle Zhombie: LOVE this Halloween store!
scot billingsley: Because of the covid the last couple years that Halloween Express would not let you get close to the full headed latex rubber Halloween mask they had to have a employee bring the mask to where you were on the other side of their showing area I guess. You could not try on the mask which after I bought two of them and got them home the Frankenstein mask was a little tight the creature of the Black lagoon mask was very big I have a seven and 7/8 head and to be able to see out of that mask you need about a 10 and really a huge forehead to be able to make it work. The mask all ran about $65 a piece and you can't take them back. That's my only concern this year with them otherwise typically they are a wonderful place to shop for Halloween items.
Lucas Folks: They do have a decent selection of items and thats the only reason why I decided on two stars instead of 1. They don't want you to try on the wigs for sanitation purposes but when you do purchase them and they don't work, fit well, or match up to your costume you cannot get your return. Just go to spirit halloween for less of a headache.

I find that their prices are reasonable and they don't have the typical selection that you see everywhere else. I work on some special projects every year and the owner is very friendly and has helped me make my projects possible. We have found that all the staff have been friendly every time we go in. We look forward to this store opening every year!! Thank you!!!!!!

Nicole Brewton: The associate at the Olathe location was extremely rude to my friend and I. We were trying on costumes and the associate stood over us the entire time and made comments about the lack of “manners” that we apparently had. The associate proceeded to not allow my friend to purchase a costume and threatened that she would call 911 on us when the only thing we were doing was trying on costumes. As two women of color, this was extremely disrespectful and incredibly rude behavior. Will never be shopping here anymore and I DO NOT recommend shopping here unless you want to be disrespected.
Laura: Absolutely terrible. Tried on a couple costumes, this Karen looking woman stood there watching me as if I was going to steal something. Then asked me to leave the fitting room rudely so I said some manners would be nice. She then proceeded to insult me and then threaten me to leave or she would call the police! I’d also like to add, half of the costumes I tried on were missing pieces or ripped.

DJ Crockett: I got stopped at self check out and asked how many items I had I said only 12 and it looks like more cuz it's a small pile of clothes I wanted to buy and then I scanned all of my items very carefully making sure to only do one at a time and the supervisor of that self check out area was literally standing right next to me and saw everything. Then made me go thru my receipt one by one and made me late for my appt. Also made me feel very awkward and uncomfortable. Not coming back!

But I was so hungry on impulse I opened and indulged just to find my funds had not been applied to my pay card as expected. Terrifyingly and as ashamed as I was I bought what I could, and didn't get thrown out, or in jail so I'm relieved that it ended good. Walmart employees and their grace here is as attractive as their prices and products placement. It's always clean and stocked and I am just blessed that compassion is also in the forefront with all their wonderful selections during my poor judgement in consumer relations. AT THIS LOCATION!

From the UK, Target is always known to having loads of exclusives for vinyl records, funko pops etc, but I couldn't find many. Some areas were slightly messy too. On the bright side, I found Oatmeal Creme Pies, which I fell in love with whilst visiting! 3.5☆

So I wait in the one manned checkout stand and get to the front and the checker says, "I'm closed" shuts off her light and walks away. I just left my cart full of stuff there because I think Target wants to keep it more than they want to sell it.

Everett John Graves-Swinney: I went in after 5:30pm and there were only two teenagers in the electronics dept trying to get people to change mobile services (without knowledge of when the promotion ended). They didn't know where or when the electronics person would be back. I tried to call the department with no one answering the phone for 30 minutes. I then tried to call guest services with similar results. I guess don't try to buy anything in the cases after 5:30!

Mya Ezzell: I just tried calling customer service twice and both times after no answer and about 20 rings it hung up on me! No customer service.
Allie Stella: I live right near this Target and have come quite a few times.No matter when I come whether it's early on a weekday, late, or a weekend there is always a huge line. There is one person sometimes no person actually at a check out ringing up people. You have to wait in a huge line and oftentimes check out your items.Most of my experiences though with staff have been pretty pleasant
Finn B: The people in the electronics department on 06/06/23 at around 3 were the most unhelpful and rude employees I’ve ever encountered at a target. They were teens that didn’t want to help and were just talking eating lunch in the electronic section. Myself and two other people were looking for other employees and one of the girls finally asked if we needed help only to press the call button. No one was coming so I asked her if she could press it again and she laughed with her friend and said they’ll be there. Once I was finally helped, the girl who came gave me what I needed as I stood at the checkout lane. She then proceeded to help someone else instead of check me out and I had to ask if I could take my product to the front because it was locked in a case and I didn’t want it to beep or anything. Overall this target is okay, but staff has never done anything above and beyond for the customer that me or anyone I know have witnessed or experienced. :( I normally don’t write these kinds of reviews but I was made very uncomfortable and embarrassed.
Jerrica Jones: I’ve literally been sitting here for almost 30 minutes waiting for my drive up order. I called twice and no one answered. More cars are pulling up. I called corporate to let them know about this (they were not able to contact them/help either, only took down a complaint) I would not expect this from Target. Walmart, maybe, but not Target. If I wanted to go inside I would have just done that instead of the drive up option. Ridiculous !

No regular cash registers open, only self check. Bought over $300 of items and had the pleasure of stacking my bags ON THE FLOOR because self check out counter is too small to hold more than 1 bag of items. Absolutely ridiculous and zero customer service. They are training us to expect nothing from them and be happy for the privilege of shopping.

TAMMY M: PEOPLE SHARE THIS! Supposedly this Target throws away all return pre-packaged sealed food. That means that if you return a box of cereal, sealed oreo cookies, canned goods, cake mix... it gets TRASHED.I returned some pre packed SEALED cake mix, marshmallows and other baking items that I knew that I would not get around to making or using and the lady at the Guest Services counter decided to pretty much shame me in front of other guests by telling me that food items that I was returning would be thrown away. I was like, these are unopened boxes of cake mix and cereal! I dont know any other stores that throw items like this away. I even asked a local grocery store right down the street from Target if they did that and they said NO. They used to during COVID, but not anymore. I mean if that is the case, cant Target donate the items to a local food pantry? I even asked that and she said NO, that there are too many risks doing that. Well, dont food pantries take risks every single day by taking food donations from food drives and people cleaning out their pantries or from people who just want to help out? That is where the food comes from on most occasions, so why not give the returned food items to them?I was there on December 22 at around 7pm. Yes the store was bombarded because we just had 2 days of bad weather, Christmas was right around the corner and there were 100's of people waiting in cars to pickup orders. I get that it was busy, but this woman at the "Guests Services" counter was less than pleasant. She was RUDE beyond words and shouldnt be working Guest Services if she doesnt want to be pleasant and helpful. I am not saying that she should lose her job, I am just saying that she needs to be in a position where she isnt speaking to or helping people as she obviously doesnt like to.

Phil Hernandez: Go elsewhere. Horrible service. Huge wait times. Called ahead, several times no answer, finally got thru and asked to HOLD, then forgotten. Great ploy for employees who don't want to work or under staffed. Either way a huge disappointment. Going to try dollar tree for balloons.

Emily Meier: Unfortunately waited over 5+ hours for a schedule, week in advance order. Customer service is NOT skill practiced here. Sadly on top of that I was left on hold for 30 minutes, walked into the store and watched as two young women associates pick up and placed my hold call twice. As I stood in store, just trying to get a time estimate. Spent almost $100 and no type of effort. I understand if graduation weekend…but I doubt this store did. Poor planning and management and lack of customer service skills from workers.NATHAN, Curtis and Linda, and one older women who I believe worked all day at the balloon station all day, THANK YOU! You are amazing and the onl hard workers there.

Said the store had recently been remodeled and the decor was reduced. There was a lot more boy decor & a ton of gender reveal. I prefer to shop in store but I guess I'd have had more choices on Amazon.

Bailey Ostrom: When my mom placed an order for balloons for my sister’s birthday, they had them ready to be picked up when they said they’d be. This is a pretty good sized store, and I think you can easily meet all your party needs here. This is also the closest location to me, since the one in Olathe closed.
Kimberly Parks: I walked in to have a dozen balloons filled for a memorial service. There was one person waiting in line behind me. I was checking out when the woman behind the counter told me it would be two hours before she could fill my balloons. The manager casually walked by and informed me that it would actually be four hours because I had more then five balloons. I have no idea why neither of them could have filled them. I drove from a nearby town because their information online said they filled balloons in the store. Complete waste of time. I would not recommend this store. There used to be a party city closer to our home, I walked in there all the time to have balloons filled and was never treated that way.

McKenzie Williams: The WORST party city I've ever been to. The staff is scarce and lacks any customer service. Everytime I've came to the party city they are behind on balloon orders or there is no staff monitoring the front. I waited over 10 minutes to be checked out then they refuse to call for backup to eliminate the line or help blow balloons up. If you think you're going to walk in to get balloons - you will be waiting 1-3 hours because they only have one person taking care of the front. The worst customer experience I've ever had at a retail store. Going forward I will be going to the Missouri side Party Cities. I gave this store multiple chances and each time it has been the worst store experience ever. The staff move slower than turtles and lack any customer service skills. I previously worked at a party city for over 6 years and I can say this store does not meet Party City's standard.
Logan Murphy: I recently visited Party City to get helium added to balloons for my son's birthday, and my experience was mixed. While the staff was nice and helpful, they seemed overwhelmed and possibly understaffed.The process of getting the balloons blown up with helium seemed to be a bit pricey. I ended up spending $32 for 10 balloons with two weights. While I understand that helium can be costly, it still felt a bit expensive for what I received.Despite the cost, the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. They were able to answer my questions and guide me through the process of getting the balloons blown up.Overall, my experience at Party City was decent, but not exceptional. While the staff was nice and helpful, the cost for getting balloons blown up with helium seemed a bit high, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and possibly understaffed. If you're in need of party supplies, Party City can be a good option, but be aware of the cost and potential staffing issues.
Max Khatthaname: Well stocked on the latest and greatest characters. Well organized, but service when I went in was meh. Needed help finding an item and was pointed in a general direction, no lead. Wasn't really what I was looking for, finally just accepted what they had and went to check out. Cashiers were kind of all over the place and two lines on a round counter system was causing confusion among the customers.Will order Amazon if I can, but Party City is still an alright alternative if Wally or Target doesn't have it.
Hannah Lammers: Very rude staff. Checked out and cashier did not say one word to me and did not even acknowledge me waiting in line to get checked out.
