Power Life Yoga Barre Fitness - South Plaza: what do users think?
Elizabeth F: Bummed that i arrived at 5:45 for a 5:45 class, and the doors were already locked. Come early.
Paige Hull: I took my first class at Powerlife today and it was just what I needed to get back into yoga💛 The owner, Bri and her adorable golden retriever Molly are very friendly and welcoming. I took the power sculpt express class with Mattie and it was challenging in the best way possible! The music was perfect and she gave great instruction. You will leave soaking wet so bring a towel! Needless to say I’m hooked and I can’t wait to take more classes at this studio.
sara thaemlitz: I love this place as the classes are always different and the instructors are amazing. They also have tons of class times to work with anybody's schedule as many studios are very limited. Plus, this place has five locations in KC, which helps contribute to the various times too.
Jenni Busenitz: I love the FIT and sculpt classes!
Jamie Gilson: Before the pandemic, I regularly went to a hot yoga studio in Houston. I am so grateful to Power Life for helping me revive my practice--the community and instructors are so thoughtful and encouraging.
Megan Mills: I highly recommend the Power 2 classes. Convenient location and affordable membership fees!
Kim McManus: My favorite yoga / barre studio! The class times are very convenient and they have many locations around the city so it's easy to fit in my schedule.
Leah Sandburg: Great place to get your weekly work out! I go to there different locations and hop between! The app makes it SO easy to register for classes. Instructors are all wonderful! Especially Brittaney C!
Genevieve Hamel: Finding your place where you feel comfortable to do your yoga can be difficult to find. It’s all about the teachers and how you connect with the way they are teaching the classes. I found that I could pick any classes and any teachers at Power Life and feel good about my choices. I don’t hesitate anymore, I just go for it and feel good. They make me feel good and connected to others. I’m celebrating my 100 classes and just got my annual membership. There’s no questions to ask anymore and love the power life teachers that help me grow in my yoga forms. I’m not perfect, but I show up on my mat, learn, grow and feel good! Thanks Power Life to bring the power in me!
Jack Edwards: Joined Power Life a couple of years ago after my fiance suggested it would help my back pain as I was going to the chiropractor about once a week. These classes have helped build my core and saved a lot of trips (and money) to the chiro. The teachers are amazing and well trained. The facilities are always cleaned right after each class. Classes are spread throughout the day to make it convenient to your schedule. Definitely worth trying out if you like to get a good sweat in but also benefits mental health and breathing!
michele sloan: Great instructors and friendly accepting environment
Dominique Nichols: My favorite place to practice yoga!! They have many different classes that are sure to fit your needs. I love taking yoga classes here because it is the perfect way to get my body moving and feeling good.
Paul Redlingshafer: From the moment you walk in the doors you feel welcome. The facilities are clean, the instructors are knowledgeable, professional, accommodating, and pretty pretty funny to boot. The fellow yogi’s have been pleasant and engaging in their own way.Google only allows 5 starts but I give Power Life 10/10!
Aidan Alemifar: Power life offers a variety of class types and times, and I look forward to working out there almost every day! The yoga classes are relaxing but still offer a good workout, and the sculpt classes push me to challenge myself and grow my practice!
Katy Nall: I absolutely love the Lee's Summit studio! It has changed my life and yoga practice. Love classes with Emily, Cat, Bailee, Ryan, and Tiffany! But seriously, they're all amazing. 10/10 recommend.
Sydney Staehr: From the day I first walked in to PowerLife to my daily experience now years later walking in to PowerLife, it’s clear how strong and authentic the community here is. I love having this safe space to constantly challenge myself and meet new friends. They have a wide variety of class formats and times so I’m always able to find something that works for my busy schedule. 10/10 would recommend this amazing studio and community!
Sasha Minx: The outside merchandising names even a beginner want to venture inside. Great location when it's not too busy with traffic.
Tracy Frickey: I recently tried classes at this studio and am hooked. I love the way I feel after my workouts. Everyone at the studio has been very welcoming and friendly.

Alane Fairchild: I have done yoga for 15 years and tried many different studios in KC. Power Life is hands down my favorite. The teachers, schedule, classes and price are amazing. Love it!
Sara Aitken: PowerLife offers classes for all levels and interests. I love the encouraging, non-competitive environment with well trained instructors.
Paul Redlingshafer: Wonderful facilities and a real human experience from all the instructors. Love when I’m free to attend a class! Great for mind, body, and soul! 🙌🏻
Kenzie Waechter: This was my first week at Power Life and I've enjoyed it so much. I tried it out based on a recommendation from my sister, and did the $10 unlimited classes for the first week because it was such an affordable option. I have not been disappointed, and my expectations were far exceeded. I typically lift weights and was nervous to switch to this type of exercise, but it has been challenging in the best way! I've taken the FIT, Power Sculpt, and Power 1 classes this week. Each instructor has made an effort to connect to the entire class during the work out, and the positive atmosphere is apparent. The community is so great. I've seen very different body types and that also made me feel so comfortable. Each class, the instructor has made an effort to get to know me as a new student to their class. I have already signed up for classes next week and am so glad I found Power Life!
Danae Hilliard: Love Powerlife! Plenty of class times offered and excellent instructors! I love that the rooms are warm. It’s helps my muscles warm up quickly so I am ready to move when the class starts. By far, my favorite place to workout!
Marie Phelan: Power Life is a great studio-excellent teachers, great class times and variety. I feel calm and relaxed when I enter the studio and then have a great workout every time!
Kurt Kiebler: Positive:ProfessionalismIf you're willing to be wiped out but get great gains later, Power Life Corinth Square is for you.
Jessica Packard: This is my second class and I truly don't understand how your instructors are hired. I was actively struggling in the class I just took and the instructor did NOTHING. The class she taught was inaccessible to anyone except the ideal, skinny woman. Your instructors should have basic knowledge of different body types and abilities to be able to help the students. I am leaving in tears because of how disappointing this class was. So glad I didn't pay for this humiliating experience.
Megan Roberts: This studio is awesome! The teachers and staff are incredible. There are a ton of classes and times to choose from, and they do a wonderful job of spacing out participants.
Mechelle Bliss: So happy I found Power Life when I moved back to KC. It has a good handful of different targeted classes you can take through out the day. Which helps if you have a busy schedule too. Everyone is so nice and I feel accomplished after every session as I have found them all so challenging. Love it!!
Todd Elmquist: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Qualitypretty amazing yoga studio. clean, quiet, great instructors
Micah Ward: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityThe instructors are so friendly and amazing. I love the challenges each class brings and always leave much happier than I came.
Alexandria Sweeney-Carroll: Power life is my new favorite obsession. I’ve been going there for about 3 months now and I absolutelyLove it. The works outs are always different and so challenging. Plus the staff and instructors are all so friendly and they even know me by name already. If you’re looking for a new community to keep you healthy, power life is definitely worth it!
Margaret Bruce: Great teachers, classes and music. They do a great job switching up the exercises so you never get bored. Plus they are super friendly and clean. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!
Betty Weeks: I have been a member for nearly 2 years. Previously, I was not a fan of organized fitness classes but after trying several different classes here I am hooked and have never been in better shape! What I love about Power Life is the community and the fantastic class instructors. There are several locations and many, many choices of classes each day. They knew my name after my first visit and it makes me feel so good that I am greeted each time I go in.Clean facilities, fair prices, great variety of daily classes and instructors-Power Life is THE BEST!
Lauren Packer: PowerLife has been my go-to gym for the past three years. I love the variety of classes that challenge me and the comfort of the studio. The staff is always super friendly and encouraging inside & outside of class!
Emma Boxx: Micayla is very kind and a great instructor!

Halie McCarter: I absolutely look forward to going to class, it is the best part of my day because everyday that I walk in I am instantly greeted and welcomed with big hellos and warm smiles. Power Life is absolutely the warmest bunch of teacher and students. It's an environment for new and experienced. Aside from the friendly staff, I love all of their class offerings and all of the different time slots available throughout the morning, day, and night! There's truly an option for everyone's schedule and level of practice each day. I would recommend Power Life to anyone looking to join!
Brittany Smith: Love this hot yoga studio! Appreciate their large variety of classes and hours making it easier to ensure you get your workouts done. The teachers are great and not only push you but will make you feel welcome regardless of your experience level. 5 stars!
Mari Chapman: My husband and I decided to try Power Life for a fun date night idea, and now we are obsessed. Each of us got a membership and we love going several times a week. Great location, and great instructors!
Ali Brewer: The team at Two Life Powerlife is the absolute best!!! Always so clean and one of the best workouts in town!!
Assata Jihad: Critical:CommunicationIgnored opening the door and several calls right before class began and even 10 minutes into class and even made eye contact with the two students through the window and didn’t move a muscle lol. Our classes were booked and paid. Visit another studio if you want a calm night class…that was super stressing .
Carolina Shirley: My favorite studio!
C. Brian Cathcart: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI have never done any Yoga and the incredibly friendly staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The instructor did so much more than breathing and stretching - Lauren created an almost meditative environment with calming, clear direction. What a great experience from beginning to end! Thank you!
Sarah Ridenhour: Ditched my gym membership back in February and joined powerlife after trying it out for a few weeks. Love the class variety and friendly staff! The studio lead Malcolm is awesome!
Alex Henningsen: amazing. Just try
Kristine Vainovska Twidwell: I’ve been a Power Life fan since they opened their first studio in Kansas City. It’s a wonderful place where you can recharge, receive so much positivity and have a good workout. Every class is challenging in its own way and the variety offered by the studio makes it possible to switch it up. It’s a must try studio in KC.
Katie Rundzieher: Love this yoga studio! Malcom and Jasmine (and all the instructors!) are absolutely amazing. Power Life Yoga motivates me all week!
Denise Bragg: Everyone !!!! Was friendly from the person at the front desk to the instructors hanging in the lobby. Class was solid with safe and challenging instruction. I travelled to KC on business and gave this studio a try... it was phenom, welcoming, challenging and clean. Great studio great experience thank you
E M: One of the best workouts of my life- power sculpt! Extremely helpful and friendly instructors and staff. Very clean facilities. Killer class. I’ll be back!
Colleen Mulholland: Classes at Powerlife are the best! They have classes all throughout the day, so whatever you prefer and/or works best for your schedule (I personally love the 5:30/5:45am classes) they are sure to have something! The space is always clean, and the studio always smells refreshing after a good sweat sesh. They have the best instructors who are truly passionate about yoga. I can't recommend enough!!
Holly Thompson: I'm not a yoga person and I'm definitely not a morning person. Still, somehow, Power Life motivates me to get up for the 5:45am classes! The instructors (especially Hunt and Emily) are amazing and keep you energized while you push through some serious workouts. Hot yoga is no joke but it is so rewarding to start your day knowing you have already worked your butt off to great music with a small group of happy people. I recommend the Power Sculpt classes to anyone looking to feel good, meet some awesome people, and actually enjoy a workout.
Crystal Sorrell: Friendly staff, clean and spacious facility, have tried Power 2, Warrior Werk and Power Sculpt classes and all fantastic workouts.

A few of my favorite things: the variety of wokouts, # of available classes, great music, motivating instructors, works the body & soul, positive community, 5 studios, & fun events! At the Town Center location, they have an air filtration system that is as good or better than an airplane. You won't regret trying out Power Life Yoga!
Erica Jaffe: Hands down the best place in KC to take a vinyasa class!

CorePower Yoga: what do users think?
Harry Engel: Amazing staff!
Kate Beem: Really great studio and beautiful space! Instructors are so encouraging!
francesca f: Centro yoga molto bello e pulito, tutti professionali
Anne Tierney: The instructors are so helpful and encouraging.
Kate McCandless: Love the variety of classes at all hours of the day and evening. Sculpt for cardio and weight training, and various level yoga classes. I never thought I'd do hot yoga but now I'm pretty addicted! It's so good for pain, joints and taking that shower (the locker room provides) afterwards is glorious. The staff is so kind and friendly. The space is clean. There are Core Powers all over the country so you can take classes if you travel.
Christopher Russett: Madi and Kristine are amazing! Excellent teachers :)
Kendrea White: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityKrissy is an excellent instructor and very passionate about her practice and clientele.
Rebecca Tede: They randomly charged me for a membership I had cancelled months prior. When I emailed them about this, they replied with a generic email, and then altogether stopped responding to me. I was very specific in my email about the charge, and the one response I received did not mention helping me with the charge. I also waited on hold for 10 minutes just to get hung up on 3 times.
Krista Reynolds: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Laura Wiltshire: Love the instructors here - always emitting great energy, leading varied flows for a great workout.
Ivan Gonzalez: This is my favorite yoga studio in the Kansas City area. The instructors are great and I love the vibe in this place. But most important of all are the benefits that practicing yoga has had on my overall physical and mental health. I feel more energized and focused when I practice regularly. I love it!
Sandy Gray: Positive:Professionalism
Chelsea Johnsen: I just had the absolute best yoga class with Carlie. She is such an incredible teacher and her flows are beautiful bootykickers! Definitely recommend taking her classes, I’m only in town for a little while longer but will be back. Such a great intro into CorePower and my first in person class since COVID, felt safe comfortable and welcomed—and got a really good sweat on!
Theresa McGraw: I cherish my yoga community so much! I appreciate the great lengths the instructors and manager take to keep people safe and grounded during the pandemic. High quality instruction provided by the best humans around!
Lauren Gonzalez: Over the last few months, I have regularly been attending yoga sculpt classes instructed by Ashlyn Jumpponen. Her enthusiastic energy keeps the entire class engaged and motivated. Ashlyn regularly changes her class sequences and playlists. This keeps me excited to attend classes. Since taking her classes, I feel more toned and am consistently meeting my calorie burn goals each class. Moreover, in general, great staff, great classes, and the studio is going out of their way to create a safe environment for members to continue working out during the pandemic (i.e. mask requirement, temperature checks).
Cody Bradley: Everyone here is great! Nice facilities. Also Mahomes & Brittany come here. So.
Sarah Daniel: I love the atmosphere. I’m not super skilled with yoga (yet) and this is a space where I feel safe to explore my practice - never judged for trying and failing an up-level and super encouraged when I succeed.
c l: Went to the monthly free yoga they offer at True Food Kitchen in Country Club Plaza. Great opportunity to try their yoga for free—they integrate core / abs work towards the end of the flow session. Lots of modification options for all levels, & they offer hands-on help if you want it. Also, we got a discount on our brunch that morning since we attended. Awesome way to spend a morning!
Heidi Whitehill: The instructors are kinds and knowledgeable. The studio is clean and smells fresh. I enjoyed the classes that I took at this location.
Amanda Simoniello: Been coming here off and on for years, used to be my favorite place to be and unwind. I am not like all of you, I cannot come inside from a 90 degree + humidity day and be put in a room with other hot sweaty bodies, and and expected to move at a fast pace and " breathe " how can anyone manage? No one complains, and no one seems to care about the opinion of 1 person. They used to offer an array of classes fit to everyone's abilities and schedule. Well I have been in a car accident with the past year and hurt my back so I can't take your sculpt classes anymore and the only other class you offer c2 has become as hot as what HPF USED be... it's ridiculous, the ONLY non heated class occures during 1:30 , when MOST people work during the day, how am I supposed to make it to the only non heated class you offer at such an inconvenient time, and then tell me you have no control over it... you can control the temperature.. I'm tired of dishing out money to be miserable, this is not relaxing and mindful. Its awful

Maya Yoga: what do users think?
Carol Petrini: Positive:Professionalism,QualityWelcoming environment and knowledgeable, supportive instructors. Highly recommend!
Lisa: Maya Yoga and the teachers are top notch. The teacher training program is comprehensive and you feel well prepared coming out. The teachers truly care about every aspect of training and took great steps to be flexible during a pandemic, offering online options and making the extra effort to ensure that the training was quality. You always feel welcome at Maya in every class be it in person or online. I would highly recommend Maya to anyone interested in the TT program or just looking for a welcoming studio to take classes with knowledgeable teachers.
Kelly Gerken: Teachers and yoga studio itself - great, one of the best I've ever practiced at. Wonderful intro to Ashtanga and lots of talented guest teachers. The new management and communication with customers - some of the worst I've experienced.
Arien Cox: Best yoga place in town. Truly a spiritual experience
Josiah B: Very warm and inviting. I went, very bleary-eyed, to the 6 AM Intro to Ashtanga class and left feeling challenged, but also energized and mentally prepared for the day. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to get into Ashtanga Yoga.I'm also a beginner. It's worth noting that I'm not very good at Yoga, yet (perhaps a word reordering to "very not good at Yoga" is more appropriate for describing my skill level), but I didn't feel judged for having trouble with some of the movements and even falling over once or twice. Great place to get started, but as evidenced by the people in the class, there's enough there to keep the advanced practitioners coming back.
Rachel Scott: You won't find a better yoga studio in KC. Take a class and see for yourself.
C: I was first introduced to Ashtanga at Maya, and can certainly say the bar is set high. I practiced with Kathleen and Wade for 1 1/2 years prior to moving out of state. In that time I traveled weekly for work, and made sure to visit any ashtanga or vinyasa studio I could. Outside of my experience on the West coast, there's nothing like Maya. They don't expect everyone to be an expert. They will teach you. I started yoga to help recover from a back injury. They pushed me hard when I was weak, and also when I was much stronger. Show up, work hard, and you will have plenty of reasons to be grateful.
Congress of the Rhino: This is the best yoga studio I have ever been to, and I have been to many all across the nation. I have since moved away from Kansas City, and more than anything the search for at least an equal studio has been quite the task. They somehow make the strict Ashtanga teachings seem fun, and the yoga community they've built from scratch is quite remarkable. Check this place out, whether you live in KC or are just visiting, you will not regret it.
Margaret Helwig: I fell in love with yoga through Maya Yoga. Instructors here teach the fundamentals, providing hands-on adjustments to help the practitioner feel the true expression of each pose. Each pose is modified as well as extended to give a challenge to yogis at all levels. I found yoga after being told I needed to stop running due to an injury, and I found I was able to continue to challenge myself physically, as well as quiet my mind through yoga at Maya in the same way I used to require from running. A beautiful, warm, energizing studio- this is the place to learn and grow your yoga practice.
Rebecca Brown: Maya Yoga helps one expand the body and mind in a soulful way. The ability of Kathleen, Wade, and other yogis who teach there to intuitively and kindly persuade your yoga practice to a level previously unimaginable, is astonishing. The results are a sleek, yet stronger musculature, as well as a calmer state of being. This calm not only stems from the physical practice, but also from the spiritual focus of the studio, which brings you closer to the essence of God. This agnostic follower has found healing, enlightenment, and spiritual well-being from both the Ashtanga practice and the meditation classes they lead. I encourage anyone who is feeling disenfranchised with the cardiovascular and weight-training workouts offered at gyms to come try Ashtanga yoga at Maya Yoga.
Amber Savage: Maya Studio is the best in Kansas City when it comes to learning and maintaining an Ashtanga practice. Whether you are just looking to drop in and test your endurance, strength, and flexibility or looking to commit to a practice that will change your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual side in a positive way Maya is the place to be. The yoga community at Maya is a place to expand your knowledge and a place to call home. I am so grateful to have stumbled across Maya and will continue to welcome the positive changes it brings into my life. Kathleen and Wade both have unique and challenging methods to their teachings and discipline that will keep you coming back for more! Make sure to check it out.
Ana Evans: I highly recommend Maya Yoga! It is a beautiful studio. Kathleen and Wade are highly knowledgeable and truly caring about every one of their students. Their love and dedication to their practice is inspiring and contagious. Under their instruction I have been able to grow my practice in a way I was never able to in the past. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced practitioner there is a class at Maya for you!
Jessica Rousseau: A warm and welcoming place, this yoga studio is a peaceful and inspiring space. Kathleen and Wade have clearly put their hearts and souls into making Maya Yoga the best possible studio for Kansas City. They are well trained in the practice of Ashtanga as well as up to date on the philosophies and physical effects of the art. An experience at Maya is an experience in dedication and the teachers are devoted to helping their students maintain healthy practices and peaceful lives.

Sarah Mackay: This space with the teachers and students is so welcoming for everyone. I started taking classes with a friend a few years ago, having been being very unflexible for my entire life and always saying that I "Don't do yoga". The teachers that I started with specialized in slow flows and meditatiive classes and helped me to feel secure in where my body should be in each pose and how to make it work for my level of flexibility. I was hooked and have been a student here for the past 4 years. I love the community in this space - you can feel it when you walk in. There are plants everywhere, multiple studios as well as a cafe and shop for fun items, pet birds that sing to you as you are in the space, and people that are real and wonderful. Maria, the owner, has created something magical here - a safe and welcoming space to be, to move, to stretch, and to breathe.
poonam bhyan: I have been practicing yoga for 10 years now and I’m beyond disappointed in this studio. Their facility and space is very spacious and natural feel with plants etc. However, their yoga classes are very basic level and hardly any teacher does or teaches advanced level poses. More importantly, I felt so much negative energy and tension in this place especially with couple of teachers who I felt were outright rude, very unwelcoming & even racists.I have lived in DC, New York, North Carolina and have especially noticed that among trainers, yoga teachers are specially the most mentally peaceful people, they are kind and they are role models by their attitude and their behavior. This is the first place I felt that their teachers have may be learnt sequences of asanas but not the real meaning/essence of yoga. They definitely have work to do on themselves before they teach others. Adios!
Carolina Santiago: What an amazing place to practice! They have a variety of classes with really good instructors. No matter what class I have taken I’ve had a great experience and left feeling recharged.
Jen S.: Yoga Patch is an exceptional studio. It is a warm and welcoming space, and the instructors are all wonderful. There is a meaningful emphasis on mindfulness and meditation—I always feel noticeably lighter after class. I am so glad that I found my way to Yoga Patch!
Chanelle Johnson: First time going to yoga patch and had a great time in hip hop yoga taught by Veronica. I can't wait to come back!
Bryan Miller: Very clean, polite, professional, safe, and AMAZINGLY relaxing. This is like a hard reset for your body. Pain, stress, anxiety, and PTSD are greatly reduced!
A L: I just started practicing yoga and I feel so welcomed and comfortable in this space despite being a newcomer to the practice. Every instructor I've had here has been wonderful and offered lots of modifications to suit the needs of everyone in the classroom, and they've been approachable for any questions and offered supportive advice. I am so happy I found Yoga Patch to continue to grow my daily yoga practice with. I cannot say enough good things about this gorgeous space!
Will Hall: One of the best yoga classes I have ever taken - thanks to the consent cards teacher Kate wisely offered to opt-in to instructive touch. I hope this becomes widespread in the yoga industry and am grateful to Kate and Yoga Patch for helping lead the way.
Abby Condon: Such a beautiful studio with diverse classes, gorgeous and warm atmosphere, and the kindest owner. She even hand delivered a yoga block to me over COVID, when I had just had a baby!
Auburn Ellis: Such a dynamic space with so many offerings! Yoga classes in Spanish, hot yoga, silks-I truly enjoy every bit. The space is also peaceful & beautiful with great instructors to match the vibe.
Shelby: There’s so many amazing things I could say about Yoga Patch. No matter where you’re at in your practice, the teachers and students are warm, welcoming and accepting. I always leave here feeling so full and whole. I’ve found wonderful teachers here at Yoga Patch and I’ve begun to heal in ways I no longer thought were possible for me. It’s a safe and validating environment to show up just as you are. There’s a variety of classes offered throughout the day to meet your scheduling needs, too. I highly recommend this studio. I can’t thank you enough, Yoga Patch!
michelle gordon: Any class guided by Anna Koehler is the perfect gift to give yourself or anyone you care about and humanity at large! I participated in my first evening class with her last night and slept better than I have in months and literally woke up laughing several times! The sincerity in her guidance is awe-striking and will change your life.Anna has the gift of transforming the confines of a physical space into a universe of endless possibilities. Her practice encompasses all of our senses that frequently get overlooked in western yoga practice. The powerful healing properties in her voice alone are worth investing your time. She guides verbally, visually, energetically and physically-best adjustments ever! Her generous spirit will take your yoga practice to a deeper level and you will experience a shavasana of a lifetime.
Brock Exline: I have been following Yoga Patch since being on Wornall. U can’t find a more caring group of like minded people in the area. I can’t say enough about how they have trudged thru the pandemic and still created a since of calm and belonging. I feel lucky to attend a safe/ social distanced/ masked class when ever I can ( and on line when I can’t). Thank you Maria!
Cami Reign: So far so good, I have only attended one class so far but it definitely made me want to go back. I love all the plants and the whole calmness about the building and the yoga session was amazing. I plan on trying every class they have, it's an amazing way to get out of the house right now and they are very mindful of social distancing. So 3 weeks in and still loving it. Will definitely keep going.
Molly Flynn: Best yoga class in KC on Wednesday night at yogapatch with Anna K. The room is gorgeous.... candles, a fireplace and it smells amazing. The music is fun and hits exactly on point with the movement. The combination of escaping into this gorgeous studio with an awesome instructor for relaxation while simultaneously getting an awesome workout is top notch
Laura Klover: I go weekly just to attend Anna Koehler’s classes. Her hot flow and iron yoga are KILLER! She’s hands on and energetic which keeps classes exciting!
Derek Garcia: Yoga patch has an amazing Shangri-la feel to it. You step in and feel the positive energy. As far as class selection goes, we are pretty much spoiled for choice. Whatever your preference, it is likely they have a quality class, usually more than one, for you to enjoy. With 3 rooms they are able to accomodate a lot of classes and people. All of the teachers I have been to (about 8) have been extremely knowledgeable and led wonderful flows. They have classes throughout the day to fit everyone's schedules. They also have kid's yoga classes! The hidden gem of Waldo!
Kate Feder: I've been practicing yoga for about 15 years, and when I moved back to Kansas City after college, I found Yoga Patch online when looking for a place to practice regularly. The first class I took was Rachel's Hot Flow, and I was immediately hooked. So much so that after about 6 months, I joined their new Teacher Training program. It's been about 4 years since I first walked through the door, and not only do I still hit up Rachel's class when I can, I now teach 3 classes a week and attend others regularly. I've seen this studio become a community for so many who needed one, a home for small businesses and non-profits, and a life-changing outlet for people with all types of limitations and insecurities, physically and mentally, that made them think yoga wasn't for them. YP's classes are truly for everyone - there's more than 60 classes a week, almost half of which are offered for $5-$8, and dozens of workshops and trainings each year. All of this is a testament to the owner - Maria Murphy - and her passion for empowering others and her selfless love of this community. I know I'm biased, but only because once you get to know YP, most people find they have no choice but to get involved.
Sage Harper: Gwendolyn White (Buti Yoga)is extremely disrespectful & very standoffish. I’m beyond disappointed that we need to find a different yoga studio considering me & 5 of my friends were about to purchase a year upfront memberships. She’s put a sour taste in our mouths. You’d normally expect to be greeted by a yoga teacher kindly & respectfully. Typically they tend to have a sense of zen about them but the negative energy was very unwelcoming & discouraging.I understand that one teacher shouldn’t dictate the overall vibe of a studio but we’ve never been so incredibly disrespected in a yoga studio for asking a few questions.
Derek Black: I went to Brandon Vogt's Yoga Basics class. It was the best Yoga class that I've ever gone to. He's also a musician and plays his guitar at the end.
Daniel Edwards: Coffee

Honor Yoga Kansas City North: what do users think?
Jacqueline Thompson: I really love this yoga studio. I have been going to this yoga studio for a few months now and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The heated flow classes are my absolute favorite and the instructors are fantastic. They create a calm and welcoming atmosphere that really allows me to connect with my practice. I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a great yoga experience.
Candy Hernandez: Love this place, I go once a week. The staff and management are supper nice, they really make you feel at home. They have several clases with different levels of difficulty and different styles. I've enjoyed every one of them, I've never felt judged. The people attending are super nice too, I work at my own pace when needed. They have different schedules available. People of any age and gender are welcome. I recommend!!!
Amy Simmonds: Very warm and welcoming studio. Tried the intro package of three classes, taking the aerial yoga, beginner's yoga, and hot yoga. I have done a lot of intro yoga classes but haven't practiced in a couple of years. I didn't feel out of place but I could see where some might be overwhelmed with the pace of some instructors, yet they are all very friendly. The aerial yoga class was my first class, which was a little scary for me. Thankfully many of us were new and nothing was being asked of us that we couldn't do. Again, a little fast paced for anxious folks, but still an inviting environment. If this were a closer location and I wasn't already paying for a gym membership, I'd probably sign up for classes here. It's a great place and I'm sure it's easy to make friends in this environment.
Angel Rosario: Haven’t Practiced Yoga since 2020 because I couldn’t find the right Studio… Then as 2022 is ending, I stumble across this Haven of a practice. 😇🙏Honor Yoga not only fills my appetite but they have helped me find my way back to My Peace.Just Check it out, I promise you won’t be disappointed 🏾

Melea L: This place is GREAT! Everyone is so welcoming- staff and students! I just moved from Oklahoma and was lucky enough to find my way here through a Google search lol. If you're on the fence, DON'T BE!!! Every BODY, every shape, every level of ability, no matter where you're starting, just show up!! And the aerial is SO FUN!!!!

Madisen Mcman: I found Honor Yoga when looking for aerial yoga classes near me and I am so happy I ended up here! The instructors are all amazing and friendly. When I first started it was a little intimidating, but everyone was so helpful and can work with anybody at any level!
Carly Sturgeon: I loved this place! I happened to be on a work trip in Liberty, MO. I tried a free class at Honor Yoga and felt so welcomed. I ended up going back to several classes later that week. It is such a peaceful environment. I highly recommended the aerial yoga classes. The instructor Sydney was amazing and so friendly! You want to check this place out!
A Heinrichs: Took several classes at this studio while staying for a couple of days in the area. The teachers were great, very welcoming, as were the students. Lovely rooms for yoga, I took a barre and flow class and was able to follow along quite well. A great experience!
Susan Downey: I ALWAYS feel so much better after Shannon's Slow Flow! Such a gift to myself!
Curtis Kempton: Really nice facility with lots of options to improve your mental and physical health. Shannon is an excellent instructor and really helps people push themselves in a safe way!Check this place out, you will be happy you did.
Tami Spolec: There’s never been a time where I’ve walked in and the staff hasn’t greeted my husband or myself by name. It’s a great community feel and a place where we both feel comfortable. The classes and teachers are great and the variety with both is a fantastic way to keep things fresh and challenging. It’s the same class, but different each week. We look forward to each class we attend.
Chrissy: My daughter loves going and the instructors are all so sweet and knowledgeable!

Lisa Ash Yoga: what do users think?
anne janku: Attended a 24-hr teacher training led by Lisa. The training was very well organized. Lisa is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. You will have a great experience with her.
Ann Zárate: I love this yoga studio. The yoga teachers and practices are great, but the addition of EMDR, using acupuncture points, meditating on texts, and practicing intentional breathing makes this a bonus package. Stay in your body. Bring health to your mind. You can do both with Lisa Ash Drackert at Abiding Yoga.
Diane Clarkson: I was so happy to find this wonderful yoga studio! The instructors are not only wonderful and inspirational but they are truly among the kindest (and fun😊) yogis I’ve ever had. I look forward to my practice at the studio.. just the best!!
Melea Siebert: To say Lisa is kind and knowledgeable is an understatement!! I cannot say enough good things about her and her staff. Fantastic workshop. I’m not a yoga instructor but a practitioner, and the information covered in the workshop is truly applicable to anyone. Practical & easy to understand.
Emily Devers: What a treat to find Lisa Ash Yoga! The studio space is welcoming and sacred. I have tried many of the classes ranging from Restorative to Stretch and Strengthen and the teachers are knowledgeable and supportive. I love the small class size and personalized attention. Lisa also has an online subscription with access to specialized therapeutic classes. Lisa’s in person trainings are top notch…a great option for yoga teachers or yoga students wishing to dive deep into meditation, restorative yoga, yin, myofascial release and more!
Amber Defore: The Restore and Meditate Training was INCREDIBLE. Not only am I a more confident teacher of the practice after this training, but I feel equipped with the knowledge and tools to better handle the stress of my life as a mom, wife, employee, human, etc. I’m leaving feeling inspired, hopeful and ready to take on the world.
James Ash: Lisa developed a personal protocol for me to address chronic lower back issues. The relief was almost immediate and in less than a week I the pain was completely relieved. The routine takes less than 10 minutes and I can do it anywhere, even in my hotel room when traveling.
Kim Johnson: Renting Lisa Ash Yoga studio has been an easy & all around life enhancing for myself and my private yoga client who wanted to get back into a studio post pandemic. Emailing with Heather, the manager, for first time scheduling and responsibilities is quick and clear making it pretty seamless to rent the studio for my students practice time. We’ve continued to rent the studio for our twice a week practices and love it!
Katja Cahoon: This is a beautiful space - I did a group there and have also taken classes there. Lisa and Heather are a pleasure to work with!
Tayler: I rented this space for Authentic Relating events. This space was prefect!
tasjha dixon: This place is like “church”/“ashram”/“sangha”. This is where I go when I need to reconnect to my Divine Feminine energy. When I need to commune with my Higher Self. When I need “therapy”, yoga/meditation is The Therapist. And the “guides”/“teachers” at this studio are heaven-sent, in my opinion.
Kathy Damron: If you ever get a chance to take a yoga class with Lisa, do it! She is a lovely person whose warmth and knowledge make for an ideal teacher. She sets a welcoming tone for her classes, creating space for all students ❤️
Shelly Doucet: Heather is a gentle guide in a wonderfully restful and restorative yoga class. The studio provides a calm, elegant environment, complete with pillows, blankets, and blocks. (Bring your own mat or rent one there). Attending her class is a gift!
Aimee Patton: I take a meditation and stress relief class weekly. I suffer from chronic pain and I can't express how much this class helps control my pain and allows me a time to relax. I use the methods taught in the class throughout the week. It's truly a wonderful experience. I can't recommend it enough!
Shelby Exposito: Classes are a great balance of mental and physical. Each class has something new - a unique combination of moves or a stretch I've never seen - that ends up being deceptively challenging!
Shelli Baldwin: Lisa Ash Yoga has been a wonderful find! The workshops are well organized and very informative. I will definitely be back!
Julie Kircher: Fabulous classes and experience!
Susanne Watson: This is an absolutely delightful studio! The stretch and strengthen class is wonderful and Lisa and the whole community are very warm and welcoming. I'm so glad I found this studio and can't wait to return!
Candace Potter Wilson: Lisa is AMAZING - this fall, I've taken two 6-week pre-natal yoga sessions and have been so grateful for the experience. Lisa makes sure the classes target the challenge areas that expecting mamas and new mothers are facing (both physically and mentally) and creates such an inviting space. I HIGHLY recommend any of her yoga classes (have some other in-person and online classes with her over the years).
Larry Owens: Just what I was looking for! A Personal Yoga Therapeutic session with Lisa quickly identified my specific problem areas and has considerably improved my situation. This was much more effective for me than physical therapy and I give my highest recommendation.
Janice Friesen: I have Ataxia and have been walking unbalanced and struggling with it for a long time. Lisa worked with me and has taught me to do many thing that are really helping. She has an eye for which parts of your body are weak or moving the wrong way. She also seems to have a sense of what can be worked on and what maybe is just something to work around.
