Lisa Ash Yoga: what do users think?
Diane Clarkson: I was so happy to find this wonderful yoga studio! The instructors are not only wonderful and inspirational but they are truly among the kindest (and fun😊) yogis I’ve ever had. I look forward to my practice at the studio.. just the best!!
Melea Siebert: To say Lisa is kind and knowledgeable is an understatement!! I cannot say enough good things about her and her staff. Fantastic workshop. I’m not a yoga instructor but a practitioner, and the information covered in the workshop is truly applicable to anyone. Practical & easy to understand.
Emily Devers: What a treat to find Lisa Ash Yoga! The studio space is welcoming and sacred. I have tried many of the classes ranging from Restorative to Stretch and Strengthen and the teachers are knowledgeable and supportive. I love the small class size and personalized attention. Lisa also has an online subscription with access to specialized therapeutic classes. Lisa’s in person trainings are top notch…a great option for yoga teachers or yoga students wishing to dive deep into meditation, restorative yoga, yin, myofascial release and more!
Amber Defore: The Restore and Meditate Training was INCREDIBLE. Not only am I a more confident teacher of the practice after this training, but I feel equipped with the knowledge and tools to better handle the stress of my life as a mom, wife, employee, human, etc. I’m leaving feeling inspired, hopeful and ready to take on the world.
James Ash: Lisa developed a personal protocol for me to address chronic lower back issues. The relief was almost immediate and in less than a week I the pain was completely relieved. The routine takes less than 10 minutes and I can do it anywhere, even in my hotel room when traveling.
Kim Johnson: Renting Lisa Ash Yoga studio has been an easy & all around life enhancing for myself and my private yoga client who wanted to get back into a studio post pandemic. Emailing with Heather, the manager, for first time scheduling and responsibilities is quick and clear making it pretty seamless to rent the studio for my students practice time. We’ve continued to rent the studio for our twice a week practices and love it!
Katja Cahoon: This is a beautiful space - I did a group there and have also taken classes there. Lisa and Heather are a pleasure to work with!
Tayler: I rented this space for Authentic Relating events. This space was prefect!
tasjha dixon: This place is like “church”/“ashram”/“sangha”. This is where I go when I need to reconnect to my Divine Feminine energy. When I need to commune with my Higher Self. When I need “therapy”, yoga/meditation is The Therapist. And the “guides”/“teachers” at this studio are heaven-sent, in my opinion.
Kathy Damron: If you ever get a chance to take a yoga class with Lisa, do it! She is a lovely person whose warmth and knowledge make for an ideal teacher. She sets a welcoming tone for her classes, creating space for all students ❤️
Shelly Doucet: Heather is a gentle guide in a wonderfully restful and restorative yoga class. The studio provides a calm, elegant environment, complete with pillows, blankets, and blocks. (Bring your own mat or rent one there). Attending her class is a gift!
Aimee Patton: I take a meditation and stress relief class weekly. I suffer from chronic pain and I can't express how much this class helps control my pain and allows me a time to relax. I use the methods taught in the class throughout the week. It's truly a wonderful experience. I can't recommend it enough!
Shelby Exposito: Classes are a great balance of mental and physical. Each class has something new - a unique combination of moves or a stretch I've never seen - that ends up being deceptively challenging!
Shelli Baldwin: Lisa Ash Yoga has been a wonderful find! The workshops are well organized and very informative. I will definitely be back!
Julie Kircher: Fabulous classes and experience!
Susanne Watson: This is an absolutely delightful studio! The stretch and strengthen class is wonderful and Lisa and the whole community are very warm and welcoming. I'm so glad I found this studio and can't wait to return!
Candace Potter Wilson: Lisa is AMAZING - this fall, I've taken two 6-week pre-natal yoga sessions and have been so grateful for the experience. Lisa makes sure the classes target the challenge areas that expecting mamas and new mothers are facing (both physically and mentally) and creates such an inviting space. I HIGHLY recommend any of her yoga classes (have some other in-person and online classes with her over the years).
Larry Owens: Just what I was looking for! A Personal Yoga Therapeutic session with Lisa quickly identified my specific problem areas and has considerably improved my situation. This was much more effective for me than physical therapy and I give my highest recommendation.
Janice Friesen: I have Ataxia and have been walking unbalanced and struggling with it for a long time. Lisa worked with me and has taught me to do many thing that are really helping. She has an eye for which parts of your body are weak or moving the wrong way. She also seems to have a sense of what can be worked on and what maybe is just something to work around.
Brittany Goodman Craig: I'm so happy to have found Lisa and her yoga studio! It's been amazing to connect with other pregnant women and mamas, and Lisa has really helped me get through my pregnancy-related aches and pains. I look forward to her class every week!
Sara Fahring: Love it here.

Maya Yoga: what do users think?
Carol Petrini: Positive:Professionalism,QualityWelcoming environment and knowledgeable, supportive instructors. Highly recommend!
Lisa: Maya Yoga and the teachers are top notch. The teacher training program is comprehensive and you feel well prepared coming out. The teachers truly care about every aspect of training and took great steps to be flexible during a pandemic, offering online options and making the extra effort to ensure that the training was quality. You always feel welcome at Maya in every class be it in person or online. I would highly recommend Maya to anyone interested in the TT program or just looking for a welcoming studio to take classes with knowledgeable teachers.
Kelly Gerken: Teachers and yoga studio itself - great, one of the best I've ever practiced at. Wonderful intro to Ashtanga and lots of talented guest teachers. The new management and communication with customers - some of the worst I've experienced.
Arien Cox: Best yoga place in town. Truly a spiritual experience
Josiah B: Very warm and inviting. I went, very bleary-eyed, to the 6 AM Intro to Ashtanga class and left feeling challenged, but also energized and mentally prepared for the day. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to get into Ashtanga Yoga.I'm also a beginner. It's worth noting that I'm not very good at Yoga, yet (perhaps a word reordering to "very not good at Yoga" is more appropriate for describing my skill level), but I didn't feel judged for having trouble with some of the movements and even falling over once or twice. Great place to get started, but as evidenced by the people in the class, there's enough there to keep the advanced practitioners coming back.
Rachel Scott: You won't find a better yoga studio in KC. Take a class and see for yourself.
C: I was first introduced to Ashtanga at Maya, and can certainly say the bar is set high. I practiced with Kathleen and Wade for 1 1/2 years prior to moving out of state. In that time I traveled weekly for work, and made sure to visit any ashtanga or vinyasa studio I could. Outside of my experience on the West coast, there's nothing like Maya. They don't expect everyone to be an expert. They will teach you. I started yoga to help recover from a back injury. They pushed me hard when I was weak, and also when I was much stronger. Show up, work hard, and you will have plenty of reasons to be grateful.
Congress of the Rhino: This is the best yoga studio I have ever been to, and I have been to many all across the nation. I have since moved away from Kansas City, and more than anything the search for at least an equal studio has been quite the task. They somehow make the strict Ashtanga teachings seem fun, and the yoga community they've built from scratch is quite remarkable. Check this place out, whether you live in KC or are just visiting, you will not regret it.
Margaret Helwig: I fell in love with yoga through Maya Yoga. Instructors here teach the fundamentals, providing hands-on adjustments to help the practitioner feel the true expression of each pose. Each pose is modified as well as extended to give a challenge to yogis at all levels. I found yoga after being told I needed to stop running due to an injury, and I found I was able to continue to challenge myself physically, as well as quiet my mind through yoga at Maya in the same way I used to require from running. A beautiful, warm, energizing studio- this is the place to learn and grow your yoga practice.
Rebecca Brown: Maya Yoga helps one expand the body and mind in a soulful way. The ability of Kathleen, Wade, and other yogis who teach there to intuitively and kindly persuade your yoga practice to a level previously unimaginable, is astonishing. The results are a sleek, yet stronger musculature, as well as a calmer state of being. This calm not only stems from the physical practice, but also from the spiritual focus of the studio, which brings you closer to the essence of God. This agnostic follower has found healing, enlightenment, and spiritual well-being from both the Ashtanga practice and the meditation classes they lead. I encourage anyone who is feeling disenfranchised with the cardiovascular and weight-training workouts offered at gyms to come try Ashtanga yoga at Maya Yoga.
Amber Savage: Maya Studio is the best in Kansas City when it comes to learning and maintaining an Ashtanga practice. Whether you are just looking to drop in and test your endurance, strength, and flexibility or looking to commit to a practice that will change your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual side in a positive way Maya is the place to be. The yoga community at Maya is a place to expand your knowledge and a place to call home. I am so grateful to have stumbled across Maya and will continue to welcome the positive changes it brings into my life. Kathleen and Wade both have unique and challenging methods to their teachings and discipline that will keep you coming back for more! Make sure to check it out.
Ana Evans: I highly recommend Maya Yoga! It is a beautiful studio. Kathleen and Wade are highly knowledgeable and truly caring about every one of their students. Their love and dedication to their practice is inspiring and contagious. Under their instruction I have been able to grow my practice in a way I was never able to in the past. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced practitioner there is a class at Maya for you!
Jessica Rousseau: A warm and welcoming place, this yoga studio is a peaceful and inspiring space. Kathleen and Wade have clearly put their hearts and souls into making Maya Yoga the best possible studio for Kansas City. They are well trained in the practice of Ashtanga as well as up to date on the philosophies and physical effects of the art. An experience at Maya is an experience in dedication and the teachers are devoted to helping their students maintain healthy practices and peaceful lives.

Elizabeth F: Bummed that i arrived at 5:45 for a 5:45 class, and the doors were already locked. Come early.
Paige Hull: I took my first class at Powerlife today and it was just what I needed to get back into yoga💛 The owner, Bri and her adorable golden retriever Molly are very friendly and welcoming. I took the power sculpt express class with Mattie and it was challenging in the best way possible! The music was perfect and she gave great instruction. You will leave soaking wet so bring a towel! Needless to say I’m hooked and I can’t wait to take more classes at this studio.
sara thaemlitz: I love this place as the classes are always different and the instructors are amazing. They also have tons of class times to work with anybody's schedule as many studios are very limited. Plus, this place has five locations in KC, which helps contribute to the various times too.

I found that I could pick any classes and any teachers at Power Life and feel good about my choices. I don’t hesitate anymore, I just go for it and feel good. They make me feel good and connected to others. I’m celebrating my 100 classes and just got my annual membership. There’s no questions to ask anymore and love the power life teachers that help me grow in my yoga forms. I’m not perfect, but I show up on my mat, learn, grow and feel good! Thanks Power Life to bring the power in me!
Jack Edwards: Joined Power Life a couple of years ago after my fiance suggested it would help my back pain as I was going to the chiropractor about once a week. These classes have helped build my core and saved a lot of trips (and money) to the chiro. The teachers are amazing and well trained. The facilities are always cleaned right after each class. Classes are spread throughout the day to make it convenient to your schedule. Definitely worth trying out if you like to get a good sweat in but also benefits mental health and breathing!
michele sloan: Great instructors and friendly accepting environment
Dominique Nichols: My favorite place to practice yoga!! They have many different classes that are sure to fit your needs. I love taking yoga classes here because it is the perfect way to get my body moving and feeling good.
Paul Redlingshafer: From the moment you walk in the doors you feel welcome. The facilities are clean, the instructors are knowledgeable, professional, accommodating, and pretty pretty funny to boot. The fellow yogi’s have been pleasant and engaging in their own way.Google only allows 5 starts but I give Power Life 10/10!
Aidan Alemifar: Power life offers a variety of class types and times, and I look forward to working out there almost every day! The yoga classes are relaxing but still offer a good workout, and the sculpt classes push me to challenge myself and grow my practice!
Katy Nall: I absolutely love the Lee's Summit studio! It has changed my life and yoga practice. Love classes with Emily, Cat, Bailee, Ryan, and Tiffany! But seriously, they're all amazing. 10/10 recommend.
Sydney Staehr: From the day I first walked in to PowerLife to my daily experience now years later walking in to PowerLife, it’s clear how strong and authentic the community here is. I love having this safe space to constantly challenge myself and meet new friends. They have a wide variety of class formats and times so I’m always able to find something that works for my busy schedule. 10/10 would recommend this amazing studio and community!

CorePower Yoga: what do users think?
Harry Engel: Amazing staff!
Kate Beem: Really great studio and beautiful space! Instructors are so encouraging!
francesca f: Centro yoga molto bello e pulito, tutti professionali
Anne Tierney: The instructors are so helpful and encouraging.
Kate McCandless: Love the variety of classes at all hours of the day and evening. Sculpt for cardio and weight training, and various level yoga classes. I never thought I'd do hot yoga but now I'm pretty addicted! It's so good for pain, joints and taking that shower (the locker room provides) afterwards is glorious. The staff is so kind and friendly. The space is clean. There are Core Powers all over the country so you can take classes if you travel.
Christopher Russett: Madi and Kristine are amazing! Excellent teachers :)
Kendrea White: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityKrissy is an excellent instructor and very passionate about her practice and clientele.
Rebecca Tede: They randomly charged me for a membership I had cancelled months prior. When I emailed them about this, they replied with a generic email, and then altogether stopped responding to me. I was very specific in my email about the charge, and the one response I received did not mention helping me with the charge. I also waited on hold for 10 minutes just to get hung up on 3 times.
Krista Reynolds: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Laura Wiltshire: Love the instructors here - always emitting great energy, leading varied flows for a great workout.
Ivan Gonzalez: This is my favorite yoga studio in the Kansas City area. The instructors are great and I love the vibe in this place. But most important of all are the benefits that practicing yoga has had on my overall physical and mental health. I feel more energized and focused when I practice regularly. I love it!
Sandy Gray: Positive:Professionalism
Chelsea Johnsen: I just had the absolute best yoga class with Carlie. She is such an incredible teacher and her flows are beautiful bootykickers! Definitely recommend taking her classes, I’m only in town for a little while longer but will be back. Such a great intro into CorePower and my first in person class since COVID, felt safe comfortable and welcomed—and got a really good sweat on!
Theresa McGraw: I cherish my yoga community so much! I appreciate the great lengths the instructors and manager take to keep people safe and grounded during the pandemic. High quality instruction provided by the best humans around!
Lauren Gonzalez: Over the last few months, I have regularly been attending yoga sculpt classes instructed by Ashlyn Jumpponen. Her enthusiastic energy keeps the entire class engaged and motivated. Ashlyn regularly changes her class sequences and playlists. This keeps me excited to attend classes. Since taking her classes, I feel more toned and am consistently meeting my calorie burn goals each class. Moreover, in general, great staff, great classes, and the studio is going out of their way to create a safe environment for members to continue working out during the pandemic (i.e. mask requirement, temperature checks).
Cody Bradley: Everyone here is great! Nice facilities. Also Mahomes & Brittany come here. So.
Sarah Daniel: I love the atmosphere. I’m not super skilled with yoga (yet) and this is a space where I feel safe to explore my practice - never judged for trying and failing an up-level and super encouraged when I succeed.
c l: Went to the monthly free yoga they offer at True Food Kitchen in Country Club Plaza. Great opportunity to try their yoga for free—they integrate core / abs work towards the end of the flow session. Lots of modification options for all levels, & they offer hands-on help if you want it. Also, we got a discount on our brunch that morning since we attended. Awesome way to spend a morning!
Heidi Whitehill: The instructors are kinds and knowledgeable. The studio is clean and smells fresh. I enjoyed the classes that I took at this location.
Amanda Simoniello: Been coming here off and on for years, used to be my favorite place to be and unwind. I am not like all of you, I cannot come inside from a 90 degree + humidity day and be put in a room with other hot sweaty bodies, and and expected to move at a fast pace and " breathe " how can anyone manage? No one complains, and no one seems to care about the opinion of 1 person. They used to offer an array of classes fit to everyone's abilities and schedule. Well I have been in a car accident with the past year and hurt my back so I can't take your sculpt classes anymore and the only other class you offer c2 has become as hot as what HPF USED be... it's ridiculous, the ONLY non heated class occures during 1:30 , when MOST people work during the day, how am I supposed to make it to the only non heated class you offer at such an inconvenient time, and then tell me you have no control over it... you can control the temperature.. I'm tired of dishing out money to be miserable, this is not relaxing and mindful. Its awful

Jessica Cantu: Love this place! First time visiting the facility. Such a peaceful ambiance & I love how you get the metabolism booster shots before & after sauna. The staff was super friendly & helpful!
Danny & Wendy Pinkerton: I did a sauna session at Sweatheory. It was absolutely amazing. I felt like a million bucks after. My face felt so smooth and rejuvenated. I hopped in the shower for the last few minutes of my session and left feeling ultra refreshed. The Bluetooth was nice being able to play music and not have my phone in there. The whole atmosphere/vibe is so good! 10/10 would recommend!
josh haner: Great place for a workout in Dwtn KC and well ran by Brandon! Madison is a great trainer for the BodyBurn class! Highly recommend!
Melinda Heath: We came for a bachelorette party and fell i love with this space! We did a group hot yoga class. Joy was our class instructor and she was so patient and calm. We came into the class so nervous and left thinking we could do this again! We even looked to see if we were able to come in again on Sunday before leaving town. The front desk girls were also amazing. Would deff recommend!
Dan Taylor: Incredible environment, beautiful energy, and extremely helpful staff. Brandon took the time to explain the packages and classes they offer ! Definitely will be booking with these guys in the future !
Auddia Granberry: Literally the greatest place in KC! Such a relaxing and needed experience. The private sauna space is amazing and the staff are extremely welcoming. I can truly see why you would enjoy coming here on a regular basis. Can’t wait to visit again and try everything else that they offer!
Allyson Jones: Went in with sinus pressure, swelling on my eyelid and eye pain. When I got out the swelling was gone and the sinus pressure decreased tremendously! I will definitely be going back!
Nathalie Kennedy: This place is amazing. I have been twice and did the social sweat and have had a great experience. Staff was very friendly and patient. I haven't done the yoga but have seen the yoga practice room and was really impressed. This business put a lot of thought and intention to create a great and relaxing atmosphere.
Jason Copeland: This place is great. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and the saunas and facility are welcoming and clean. The Bluetooth connection in the saunas was an added plus. Love the cool towels after as well! The pipe bends in the electrical were also spot on (not that most care)
Kelly Dunlap: Great atmosphere and sauna experience!
Maria Laura: So grateful to have found this gem. First of all, the owner is genuine, kind and friendly. He makes everyone feel very welcome, wether they‘re new to the studio or been there forever. The studio itself is so beautiful. Big crystals everywhere, super clean, alway smelling amazingly. The infrared sauna is really good to detox and not to be compared with regular hot yoga studios. Infrared helps you sweat our more toxins than regular sauna. You can feel the difference and your skin will thank you too. Great teachers, nice students. I always leave feeling great. Def recommend!Ps I just bought a gua sha & face roller from them and my face has never been this relaxed 😂100% recommend
Kenny Tjay: So happy to have found an amazing studio that offers hot yoga, Sweatheory space is immaculate, clean, friendliest staff and great teachers. We love being there!
michelle gordon: One stop, in a great location with easy parking, to so much self care!! I am on my second year at Sweat Theory and it’s been one of my best investments! The space itself is stunning-designed and built out by the owner who has an exceptional eye for quality and beauty. Lofted log-cabin/dreamy-zen spa meets plant/chrystal-sculpture garden. It feels goood in here!Other Highlights: Ionized alkaline water on tap (2 of them!) monthly Vitamin B12 shot and exceptional towel service including ice cold lavender or eucalyptus infused washcloths literally hand delivered to you during savansana or post workout! In addition to classes (various Yoga, Deep Heat stretch and Body Burn ) they offer individual sauna sessions, pop-up workshops, vitamin drips+shots, cold beverages, healthy snacks and yoga gear for purchase! I The class room itself is like a giant and spacious sauna. There is a salt rock wall that feels like a lullaby and is reflected throughout the space thanks to the mirrored adjacent wall! The lightning alone is enough to drawl you in but when combined with the seamless sound system, the infrared heat and the excellent guided classes- it is truly an experience not to be missed! I hope you treat yourself with this opportunity. Thank You for another year Sweat Theory!
Adriana Von Dorpowski: My infrared experience was excellent! Brandon did a great job explaining the whole single sweat package and what that entailed. I felt welcomed, comfortable, and relaxed! I will definitely be back and will spread the word to all my family and friends who would appreciate this calming/refreshing environment!

True Love Yoga: what do users think?
Bryn Beach: Lovely, intimate studio. I visited from out of state and took a Saturday morning class with 6 other students. The practice was challenging in all the right ways, the flow was great. There are supplies to borrow if you're in need. Overall, a great experience.
Isabella Christie: First real yoga class and it was lovely. Super safe and inviting space with lovely instruction. Thank you for such a lovely experience
John Lawrence Keck: I've been going to this studio since the space was taken from it's pharmacy infancy to it's beautiful whole health mature beautiful space that it is now. Ask about the ceilings here. If you mention my recommendation. Drop in's are welcome but get the app and schedule just to make sure they have space for you. They will make space for anyone looking for love. I was just there yesterday for a noon class with Katie Brown and I'm still thinking about it's positive impact on my today.
M P: Rude staff. I was literally pushed out of the door as I was leaving.
Jillian Keating: Loving every class I have taken! Great teachers, atmosphere and variety
Telly Gonzalez: Wonderful place with plenty of different options for classes!
Lana Graves: Beautiful, comfortable space, wonderful class - I loved everything! I feel so lucky that I found this studio!
Jewel Fivecoat: Positive:ProfessionalismMy favorite yoga in the area, they even volunteered some instructors to give classes at a domestic violence shelter. Amazing people and mission!
Terri Merrigan: Karma Tribe is a welcoming yoga community with fantastic teachers. Come practice with us!
Amanda Veys: I love KTY! The app is easy to use and schedule a class. The staff is very inviting and accepting. It accommodates all levels. My friend came for her first time doing yoga and then wanted a membership. I have taken more advanced classes and have been challenged in new ways. They are definitely experts here.
Maria Comerford: I've been a member at Karma Tribe for about 2 years now and I can't say enough about what a great atmosphere it is. They are frequently updating their schedule to offer more types of yoga so I never feel stuck in a routine. All the teachers are friendly and genuinely want to help you reach your personal goals. Very welcoming.
Sean and Emily Murphy: My favorite place for yoga in KC. The two locations are so convenient and the classes always leave me feeling refreshed. The teachers are knowledgeable and helpful and take the time to get to know you if you arrive early. This is a great place for beginners and experienced yogis alike. They offer free equipment for use during class (mats, straps, blocks, blankets, bolsters) and that makes it so approachable.
Celesteal Clark: Sally and Jordan have helped me become a morning person while still staying true to myself. Whenever I enter the space it is warm and welcoming, and I can even bring my bike in from the cold when there's not too many folks in the 6:30am classes
Mackenzie Brisben: Absolutely the best yoga ever! Shout out again to the amazing Lauren Leduc!
Sara Rieman: The most genuine place I've been for yoga and meditation. Very accepting and caring. Genuinely want to know you and assist in growing your practice.
Mg 0: Warm and welcoming atmosphere, professional and skilled instructors at this intimate, approachable yoga studio.
Tommy Thostrup: Good vibes as soon as you enter the door. Beautiful studio. Instructors I’ve had shared a beautiful practice and were very present and kind. Some easy life bonus points.
Darkl Dow: They are wonderful just find the right class for you.
isaac Wagner-Muns: Amazing studio with amazing people. I'm grateful for everything they have taught me!
Jacquel Kroeker: Great experience and very good instructor :)
Sal: Karma Tribe Yoga is great. Everything about this place screams beginner friendly, but they also have many classes for more intermediate yogis. The first time I went, I had the most wonderful restorative yoga class experience. Each time since, I've been nothing short of impressed by Lauren and her staff. Not a single instructor seems to be too busy to talk about adjustments, poses or any non-yoga conversation. They're not going anywhere-they're here for the community. From day one, I sensed the communal environment that is KTY. I've since brought three friends to the space and will continue to bring more. As a donation-based studio, I'm more than impressed with how well they are excelling as a trusted studio in the city. There's no reason to pay $15+/class at another studio for your first time at yoga, or at the studio itself. KTY is incredibly user friendly, for all budgets and body types. You absolutely need to go to KTY. I recommend attending one of Lauren's classes, just to understand her foundation and drive as a person, and you'll truly understand why Karma Tribe Yoga is so great.

Full Circle Yoga KC: what do users think?
Leigh Appenfeller: This studio is a game changer, mentally and physically. Such a welcoming atmosphere and I always leave feeling 10 times better. I'm so happy to have found this studio early on in my pregnancy!
Timmy Man: Amazing yoga place where she meets you where you are that day. Great for kids and adults. I wish the studio was open when I was pregnant or my baby was young. I definitely would've been there often. My son has gone to Jenny since he was about 3 (her last location) and loves it every time. We had such a great time at Yoga in the Park!! Thank you Jenny for all your amazing work. I could not highly enough recommend this place!!!
Jessica Maney: I stumbled across Full Circle mostly by accident when I was looking for prenatal wellness Groupons around Christmas time and there was a special for prenatal yoga. I’d not really ever done yoga before so very much a newbie but felt my pregnant body needed the movement. The studio was extremely welcoming even before I ever arrived! I got a welcome email from the owner offering to answering any questions after I’d registered for my first class online. The first class I felt right at home. Jenny is owner and teaches many classes and so so sweet with a very calming personality! I enjoyed going to many prenatal classes and now some postnatal classes with my baby too! I am constantly recommending her studio to all my pregnant friends! I’m so happy I found her studio as it offers a comprehensive welcoming tribe for mothers in all stages!Additionally, I was blessed to have Jenny be a doula for the birth of our daughter and cannot sing her praises enough! Currently early in her doula career, you’d never know it…. She brings such knowledge and calming presence to the delivery. I could not have done it without her!1000% recommend this studio and tribe of great people!!!
Bonnie Birdsell: I found Full Circle Yoga KC after searching for prenatal yoga in KC last summer. In a busy and stressful season of life, I wanted to find a place where I could focus solely on preparing for my baby's arrival. FCYKC was the perfect place - Jenny is incredible, and every other yogi I've met there has been so wonderful and supportive. I now take my new baby to the BYOB (Bring Your Own Baby) yoga classes, and he loves them! I highly recommend FCYKC to anyone looking for prenatal or family-centered yoga classes.
Becky Schubkegel: Full Circle truly revolutionized my prenatal experience. I started attending in my 2nd trimester looking for community and support, and found such a caring, open, authentic group of people that exceeded any expectations. I am 4 weeks from delivering a very unexpected baby, but have never felt more prepared, empowered, and strong physically and mentally because of the Full Circle community. There is something here for everyone, whether you've ever done yoga before or not, whether you've ever given birth before or not. I am eternally grateful for Jenny and the entire community here. Highly recommend to anyone at any point in this journey.
Danielle Bisignano: I would highly recommend this studio! I started coming to Full Circle early in my pregnancy. I continued prenatal yoga classes throughout my pregnancy. It was so wonderful being able to continue practicing as my body grew and changed. I also loved getting to meet other expecting mamas and share our experiences and journeys. This was my first pregnancy. Since our little girl was born we started going to the BYOB (bring your own baby) classes and we have such a fun time together! I am looking forward to continue attending classes with her as she grows. While pregnant I also attended other workshops the studio hosted: Pelvic Floor, Couples Partner yoga, Breastfeeding course. In some of the other workshops we were able to learn different laboring positions and ways my husband could support during labor. Jenny, Deana, and Miracle are amazing yoga instructors! I am so thankful that I found this community for this new chapter of our lives!
McKay Campbell: I absolutely adore Jenny, Deana, and the entire Full Circle Yoga community. I started coming to class in the first trimester and it has been a complete game changer for my mentality surrounding pregnancy, labor, and motherhood. I've found a community of incredible women to lean on as well as amazing classes that make me feel strong, empowered, and connected to myself and my baby. The resources at FCYKC are amazing- from pelvic floor therapists to lactation consultants, Jenny and Deana always know exactly where to send pregnant mama's for anything they need. I can't wait to bring my baby back for BYOB classes after delivery and continue on with this amazing community of mothers. If you're curious, I would highly recommend trying out a class- it's never too early!
Ellen Hailey: Full Circle Yoga is the best! The prenatal yoga classes and workshops (chiropractic, partner classes) have been an integral part of both my pregnancies. My experience here had so many benefits - connecting with a supportive community of women, preparing my body and mind for labor through yoga and learning laboring techniques.I truly credit the prenatal classes here to my positive birth experiences. The programming Jenny has created is so wonderful, I can’t recommend it more!
Anna Joy Walker: I cannot say enough good things about Jenny and Full-Circle. I recommend her classes to every pregnant momma I meet. Having the support from Jenny and the other women sharing this crazy moments of growing a human was exactly what I needed. Don't hesitate. I am generously endowed (all over) and have knee issues. Jenny helped me find positions that worked for my body. It was also the first yoga experience that I felt truly supported and not judged for my size (which I feel is essential for women like me who avoid certain activities because we've experienced so much judgement and criticism about our bodies). I'm so grateful for my experience and do plan to make it back for the baby friendly classes.
Lauren McNellis: What an overall wonderful experience. I practiced prenatal yoga with my second pregnancy and felt it made all of the difference in feeling physically and mentally ready for birth. I utilized a visual that Jenny had led us through in class while I was in labor and was able to keep calm through very intense sensations. The instructors intentionally create a welcoming and empowering space for women and families. The owner Jenny, has found her calling. She is wonderfully genuine and is changing the world in her own way by bringing women together. Women wrapping around other women as they prepare for birth is always how pregnancy was meant to be. Absolutely worth it, will positively impact your pregnancy and birth.
Jenny Redix Jordan: I was blessed to be able to experience prenatal and BYOB yoga with Jenny Hellman and Full Circle Yoga for THREE babies! I have experienced many types of yoga classes, and different types of prenatal yoga, and FCY offers the most empowering prenatal yoga experience. The classes would fill my cup. I always left feeling stronger and more confident with my changing body. The classes also helped me during childbirth. I am so thankful my journey intersected with FCY.
Jenna Walburn: Attended the coming of age class with my daughter and it was a wonderfully presented class. I would recommend it to anyone with a tween daughter!
Megan Kazmi: Full Circle Yoga is the best! So helpful physically and emotionally throughout my pregnancy (and after). Jenny is genuine, knowledgeable and caring and I’m so grateful for her and the community she has built through FCY!
Bekah Durar: Jenny is an amazing yoga instructor! I've been to her prenatal, baby yoga, and little movers yoga. I can't say enough amazing things about the classes, especially the prenatal. Jenny makes you feel like a confident warrior mama, getting you ready for all that will come with labor. The community that is built practicing yoga with other expecting mom's is another reason why I love Full Circle Yoga!
Mary Mahon: Best thing you can do during your pregnancy!I was not much of a yoga person, but after reading Emily Oster's Expecting Better book she found that research proved prenatal yoga can significantly improve the birth. I figured I had to give it a try. Wow, if you are pregnant you have to go to Full Circle Yoga KC. It is a welcoming environment that any yoga skill can participate in. I feel like it was half yoga half group therapy. It was so nice to be surrounded by other women going through the same experience and not feeling alone. The instructors were so helpful on helping anyone through any aches or pains. They even brought in experts to educate you outside of just yoga like spinning babies and lactation. I was so comfortable and agile throughout my pregnancy thanks to prenatal yoga. I was even dancing at a silent disco the weekend before I gave birth! I used everything I learned in class on the delivery bed in order to successfully flip my baby around- the nurses were very impressed! I highly recommend Full Circle Yoga KC!
Taylor Cunningham: I came to Full Circle at 12 weeks pregnant without a clue of what it would be like. I had just moved to Kansas City and was a roller derby skater before, so yoga was unfamiliar and intimidating to me. I worried about "fitting in" with other moms there. What I received was an incredibly warm welcome, constant support, and ongoing encouragement from the instructors and other expectant parents. Prenatal yoga with Jenny has helped me connect to and experience my own body in ways I never have before. It has inspired me to dig deeper into my own fears about pregnancy, labor, and birth. And that isn't even the yoga part! Each class is relaxing, challenging, and makes me feel so good afterwards. I will recommend this studio to any and all friends who are pregnant or postpartum.
Kelsey Owens: I started taking prenatal classes at Full Circle during my first trimester and doing so has made a noticeable, positive impact on my mindset throughout pregnancy! Jenny and the other teachers truly care about each student in class, sharing helpful positions and techniques to prepare for a positive birth experience. Full Circle has truly provided the support and community I’ve needed to navigate pregnancy after loss ❤️
Leslie Ranney: I decided to attend the Prenatal Yoga classes from a recommendation from my doula. One of the best decisions I ever made to help me enjoy my pregnancy and prepare for labor and birth. I truly looked forward to doing class with Jenny every Wednesday and Saturday. She not only prepared me physically for my natural birth but also mentally and spiritually. Connecting with other pregnant mamas during their pregnancy journey was so refreshing because everyone was so open and supportive. Jenny went above and beyond by offering to do the class live via Zoom so I could attend from the comfort of my own home and I still felt connected to everyone in the class. HIGHLY, highly recommend attending prenatal yoga classes. I was able to have a successful and surreal natural birth and I have to believe part of that was due to this amazing preparation.
Betsy Farris: Such a great yoga studio! I’ve done prenatal, partner prenatal, BYOBaby, and restorative postpartum and all have been the perfect blend of supportive community, connective practice, and practical exercises to do outside the studio. The owner, Jenny, is encouraging and incredibly invested in her clients and makes each member of the class feel connected to each other.I know that the breathing techniques Learned at prenatal yoga helped me during my birth- i had the nurses even comment on how helpful the techniques were.I am very grateful for the community at Full Circle and the ways the classes have helped me during multiple phases of motherhood.
Melody Stratton: I loved attending prenatal yoga classes at FCYKC during my pregnancy! I started attending around 16 weeks and continued until I was in labor. At the beginning of my pregnancy I had a lot of anxiety about pregnancy loss and was also diagnosed with a uterine abnormality. I spoke with Jenny prior to coming to class and she did research to help me modify poses to make sure they were safe for my pregnancy, which I really appreciated. My baby was breech until ~36 weeks, so I continued to modify poses and do poses to encourage him to flip. When he finally did, our whole class celebrated, which made me feel so supported! Jenny's classes are always really motivating, and I went into labor and birth feeling very confident. I also really appreciated the conversations we had before class and the resources the other women shared. We talked a lot about the 4th trimester and breastfeeding, and now that I'm in that phase I think back to what I learned and heard daily. I am so glad FCYKC was part of my pregnancy journey and I highly recommend it for all pregnant people!
Mimi Koppen: I love the prenatal and baby yoga classes with Jenny, and my new favorite is the postpartum restorative class with Miracle. She has great instrumental music and a calming energy. The best part is that I’ve been going to physical therapy for slight diastasis recti and lower back pain, and we did a lot of the same poses and movements in this class that my physical therapist has me do. They also allow your baby in the class if you want or need to bring them. Highly recommend!

Sage Center for Yoga & Healing Arts: what do users think?
Caleb Durland: Whitney is the best chiropractor that I've gone to. She's much more than just that. She helps you be healthy in every aspect of your life.
Sarah Burnett-Pierce: Pre-Covid I had enjoyed in-person classes. I found the teachers to be very good at explaining the poses and willing to meet you where you were at in your level of practice. They were kind and patient in giving individual corrections to your pose.I just tried a virtual class with Sarah via zoom. It was great! The verbal instructions were very detailed and the camera position provided good visual instruction. The sound was perfect with no feedback or background noise distractions.
Kendra Kinter: I have been going to Sage for almost a year now. I see Whitney for my chiropractic needs and I couldn't recommend her enough. She not only cares for my body, but always takes the time to check on other parts of my life. She truly cares for the patient and always provides great advice and care with each visit.
Joe Yates: Great facility, effective treatment, and professional yet very relaxing atmosphere!!!!

She was genuine, professional, personable and was highly intentional with my massage. She was able to read where my body was holding tension & focus on that area.I will 100% be returning for more yoga & services!
Brenda Green: Caring place and gentle chiropractic. There is street parking only, so plan ahead, arrive early and give yourself additional 30 minutes for an initial visit. Ayurveda knowledge is helpful for improving health and that is one of my reasons for visiting. I plan to return only for Ayurveda massage and treatments.
